202  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: FPGA development board "Icarus" - DisContinued/ important announcement on: May 17, 2012, 06:37:40 PM
I am expecting a new bitstream for Icarus to be released soon, not sure yet how or who or when! Hopefully in maximum 1 month by ngzhang! By then Icarus would be as valuable as Lancelot if not as valuable as BFL singles in terms of hash rate / electricity consumption!
203  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Icarus last batch "group purchase" thread. on: May 16, 2012, 01:15:21 AM
Arrived and mining! Thank you so much Xiangfu & ngzhang!

Its mid of May now! any news for Lancelot?
205  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: April 07, 2012, 01:41:13 PM
I think the biggest issue with leasing is that everyone keeps mucking about with their prices trying to edge out someone else.

If the purchase price is taking wild swings, as a buyer wouldn't you wait to see if there was going to be a deal before buying?

Also, besides pirate sleeping have you thought out that there may not be that many leased shares out there to have?

I don't know how many Gh gpumax commands but I am sure there is a f***ton of competition now that there are so many miners using the service.

Until there is a better system in place for pricing models I would think purchase price stability is the only way anyone will see decent returns on leased work.

tl;dr -  you are not losing anything by not doing public work,  set your price in the .00004-.00005 range and leave it alone.  The shares will come.   Smiley

Are you currently leasing? my workers currently doing private work! as no public work available for my workers @ 0.000045 for the last 3 hours!
206  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: April 07, 2012, 12:32:50 PM
Anyone is getting public work today? I couldn't lease any shares the whole day! It seems to me leasing is more stable night time! I even tried to set the price down to 0.00004 and 0.00003! nothing! no public work!

I've just received 2 Bitforce Singles! [REV 2]

1st  device ordered @ 23 December 2011
2nd device ordered @ 2 January 2012

USPS Tracking Number "for both devices in one shipment" received @ 13 March 2012
Delivered @ 26 March 2012

So in in best case they are now under 3month wait.

That was the case 2 months ago! I guess things are getting better by now! I would expect maximum 2 months wait by now.

What do you mean by 'REV 2'? The first shipping units had 2 fans, I believe (one on top, one exposed on the bottom). BFL has been talking about introducing a heatpipe design but I'm not sure if those are shipping yet. I've also heard of some 'interim' design change, but I'm not aware of any details.

Does your unit have the 2 fans, the heatpipe, or something else? Could you post some photos of what you have received?

The devices that I've received are exactly the same as the ones all others have received! It is REV2. I am also looking forward to see photos for REV3.

Energizer are you talking to yourself.  It is very confusing when you respond, then respond again, then quote your response again.

Sorry, that happened by mistake. I already deleted it.

If you really care for your customer's benefit so why you are not offering quantity discount price? Why the only discount option you are offering to your customers is a 30+ boards order!

Follow Zhang's new thread:

So let me understand this:  Instead of everybody paying like $480 per board in the other thread where we pool our purchase together we now have to pay $560 + shipping if we only wanted a single board?

Its not really like that! The minimum accepted quantity is 3 @ 520$! The price of 560$ is for the boards that are currently in stock and ready to be shipped today. All you have to do is to collect an order of 10 boards in your country! and you would be able to get it for 480$

All the fees will go to my chinese agent who is gonna handle the logistics. I am hoping to sell the 40 boards in 4 orders 10 boards each! this will make 400 USD profit for the agent! I think that is fair enough for the logistics administration process.
214  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Icarus bulk orders. Who's interested? on: March 23, 2012, 08:14:49 PM
if there are somebody could run this "group purchase" with lower fee, i will accept his order.  Smiley
i want to give benefits directly to my customers by this last chance, not for somebody Manufacturing a scam or make profit to them self.  Angry
notice that from the beginning, i reserved the rights to choice my customers.

some additional info:

1, the order can not be large than 60, <50 are better. because i only have 90 PCBs, and already have 30 ordered by a local buyer.  Cheesy
2, if there are no body can offer a low charge service to this group purchase, i will find a man i trusted to handle this.  Cheesy
3, if i can't, i will not accept this group purchase, and keep the FPGAs to Lancelot project. this will not cause any loss to me.  Angry

If you really wanna give the benefit directly to your customers, so please handle this bulk order for us!
More over am wondering why you are posting this words now after accepting my order!!! Does that mean that you don't accept my order?

A bulk order of 60 boards = 60 * 469 = 28140 USD

Just please explain to me what for anyone would invest 28140 USD and end up selling out for the same wholesale price
215  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Discounted Icarus FPGA Bulk Order on: March 23, 2012, 07:45:10 PM
Where will you be shipping from?

The 5 boards currently in stock will be shipped from Belarus "I've received this boards @ 8th of march and its been mining for 10 days".

For April's order it will be shipped from China.

I've just ordered a bulk order of 60 boards! I've created a new thread to redistribute the order! Please join me here:

I don't see the reason for you or anybody to be handling the money. Count me out. I'm paying nzgang directly or not at all. I'm only willing to pay a third party only for shipping and handling.

It would be great if ngzhang would handle everything but it seems he prefers to find someone else to handle it.

Currently there is no one managing the order! If you have any suggestions feel free to post!

Bottom line Zhang doesn't want to deal will multiple small orders anymore! We need to find a way were its gonna be easier for him to handle such bulk order, in terms of receiving funds and shipping!
220  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Icarus bulk orders. Who's interested? on: March 22, 2012, 11:45:23 PM
Orders from USA and Canada, do you like to receive your orders in one shipment or separate ones?
