201  Economy / Services / Re: Please provide financial assistance or to work on: May 27, 2016, 08:24:20 AM
Begging isn't allowed (or at least is heavily looked down on) on this forum. I'd recommend editing your op. Like what guy above me said, you really need to explain your qualifications/job history/what your capable of to show if you're eligible for a task/job.

Try a freelance site.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CarlesPuyol is back trying to build Bankroll in sports betting. Profit: 0.073BTC on: May 27, 2016, 06:58:27 AM
Nice! I'm gonna follow your bets. I'll match them so my winnings for each bet will be $10 Smiley

Are you going to stop when you reach a certain amount of profit? Because I'll follow you all the way!
203  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Do you want me to send you $500 worth of bitcoin today? on: May 27, 2016, 06:52:06 AM
How does this thread even belong in this board? It could be interpreted by gambling with your trust in this guy, but that would be 100 loss, so it's not much of a fair bet.
204  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com -- Your Trusted Bitcoin Gambling Wallet (Upgraded Speeds!) on: May 27, 2016, 06:48:47 AM
Last time I checked you could download a moneypot game's source code (including frontend and backend) using Chrome's developer console? Does that still work?
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your favorite gambling games? on: May 27, 2016, 06:43:09 AM
I like roulette. Maybe something like csgodouble.com?

They don't have the best interface, but it's familiar and easy to get familiar with and get to use.

I think bitcoin can do better Smiley
206  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: JAXX Bitcoin/Ethereum wallet - DO NOT USE on: May 27, 2016, 06:40:49 AM
How much did you lose? I hope it wasn't too much. This is just another example not to use an untrusted wallet. Breadwallet and mycelium is there for phones already.
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is worse - Losing all your btc to slots, dice, etc? on: May 27, 2016, 06:34:40 AM
well losing sucks no matter how you lose , but based on the games that you mentioned I think losing on sportsbetting is the toughest
we all know the randomness in other games , but when you lose an easy sports match you would feel that the whole world is against you lol

It really boils down to this. Do you trust the players to win more than you trust your luck? If you do, and they lost, it would really feel like they are against you/let you down.

You could add 'poker' to your poll options I guess as a fair amount of gamblers here on the forum play poker for Bitcoins as well. Personally I have spent the most of my Bitcoins on sportsbetting and it's always a very bad feeling when you lose on picks you have been very confident in just because the teams performed disappointingly bad but that's normal for gambling as you need some luck to be successful with your bets. The most important factor to avoid losing all your coins to whatever game you are playing is to maintain a proper bankroll and never put all of your coins on a single bet as this is the main reason a lot of gamblers chase losses and lose even more money in the process and end up with compulsive gambling issues which are very hard to brush off later on.

Uh GianLuca, im not on the campaign spreadsheet. Is there a problem? You accepted me, right? I've already done like 20 posts Smiley
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is worse - Losing all your btc to slots, dice, etc? on: May 26, 2016, 09:38:16 PM
Haha was reading your responses when I noticed "coin flip" was misspelled "con flip"... Haha!

Coincidence? I think not  Wink
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Working on Developing the Ultimate Gambling Strategy on: May 26, 2016, 09:02:08 PM
If there were anything like "the Ultimate Gambling Strategy" trust me it would have been invented long before you ever thought anything about it. Just like you won't be able to find the cure of AIDS in your basement; you won't find a strategy like that in a bitcoin forum.
Let's just see; it involves taking the SHA-256 encryption they use to encode the answer to make probably guesses. It's based on the hash it gives you so it's individualized for each game.

It's practically impossible to crack SHA-256. You think you can crack that? Good bloody luck. And you can't use an encrypted seed, if that's what you mean. It's encrypted in such a way that the encrypted form has no direct correlation to the unencrypted form whatsoever besides the encryption key.

Btw I just wanna say I love your signature; so many fucking feels.
Btw I just wanna say I love your trust page; Not any fucking feels.
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / What is worse - Losing all your btc to slots, dice, etc? on: May 26, 2016, 08:55:24 PM
So. Which one's more painful to you personally?

Watching you lose in dice, roulette, sportsbet, coin flip or jackpot? I personally think dice, as I usually bet low, but chase my losses until I hit 0. Then I think what I could've done to fix it. A bit too late.

Suggest more poll options!
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Working on Developing the Ultimate Gambling Strategy on: May 26, 2016, 08:46:06 PM
Honestly, I would buy it just to prove you wrong. Random is random. You cannot predict or beat a system unless it's RNG is predictable/flawed. It may work 30 times (you're probably taking this long to try and do it 30 times over and over to find one that actually ends in profit), but probably not for everyone.
213  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Steam on: May 26, 2016, 02:23:27 AM
Yes it was quite an awesome find; if you haven’t yet figured it out; even larger agencies such as Microsoft and Newegg are accepting your bitcoin as payment. Newegg even pays it’s affiliates with bitcoin, so for those of you who are willing to make a website niche based around computer technology and want to receive bitcoin as payment for your affiliation, I suggest you go to Newegg.

I thought Microsoft announced that they stopped accepting bitcoin?

Only in some countries. In Australia, Microsoft doesn't accept bitcoin yet.
214  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase hacked?! on: May 26, 2016, 02:15:57 AM
Baaad news. Get your money out of coinbase. Only put money you are willing to lose in an exchange for long periods of time. I've been scammed by gox, but won't be by coinbase.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ether so popular, despite its infinite supply? on: May 26, 2016, 02:10:03 AM
Ethereum is extremely popular because it is bitcoin with it's flaws rolled out. It harnesses the hashing power of the miners, and uses it for something practical. I've personally purchased about 1 btc of ethereum, and i'm already up 0.2! Cheesy
216  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I was scammed, please help on: May 25, 2016, 11:06:28 AM
Even a newbie wouldnt be this stupid.

There's a clearly marked board named "Scam Accusations", which you should know about.

Make this guy prove his identity by asking him to sign an address that he used a long time ago that isn't his primary one.
217  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBuku - Gambling made for players on: May 25, 2016, 11:02:39 AM
I thought the website was boring because I didn't know what was happening. Cheesy After reading this thread, I understood what's going on. I wish there'd be a game for multiplayers in the future rather than just between two people. More players = more profit if you win. Just a suggestion though. And also I suggest putting a chatbox between the players or even just some emoticons or short words like "good luck" and stuff.

Nice thing that you're already promoting your website even before the launch date.

Hello,

Thank you for taking a look at the website. I would've liked it too to have more players in a game but sadly I think this would've been abused by players with a bigger gambling budget if they found a way to automatically send in bets and join games. For example in a game of three if they'd manage to do this and get two clients in the same game they would ultimately have 66.6% chance of winning instead of what would be the fair 33.3%.
Keeping the game player vs player keeps the original goal alive of being a game with fair chances for all players.

Wow. Nice thinking you got there. And of course that method will be used by a lot of people. If there are 5 max players per round, then someone would just play 4 alts and then wait for someone to fall into his trap. No matter what happens, it'd be either win or draw on his side. Maybe you can do something to prevent this like having a maximum of 1 player per IP. It'd be great to play multiplayer but if you can't think of a solution to this problem, then you're most likely to not have this feature on your site.

This is already happening in some jackpot sites like sweepstakes.tf and csgojackpot. Rich gamblers would team up with others to try and "snipe" pots. This would work better than a single person doing it as it gets around the 5 item deposit limit.

It sounds like a fun game. I'd like to ask how much are the fees for each game and what's the provably fair scheme for the game in general?
as of provably fair I haven't yet implemented a provably fair system as the project is still very young and also because BitBuku is player vs player. It's likely that I'll have such a system the next release.

the fees look like the following:

BET : FEE

$1-5 : $0.10
$10-20 : $0.15
$25-50 : $0.20
$100-500 : $0.25
$750 : $0.30
$1000 : $0.40
$1500 : $0.45
$2000 : $0.50

Only the winner pays the fee

$1 being the lowest bet

Probably fair is such an important thing that you should even postpone the launch until you've implemented it. It's a turn off for most, and can taint your reputation.
218  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 50$ GiftRocket on: May 25, 2016, 06:51:19 AM
Beat it. Gift rocket is shit

Don't listen to this guy.

Is your code a $50 code that can be used to purchase a $50 gift card anywhere on the site? So a gift rocket card is basically something like a visa gift card? Some funds you can cash in at the bank? What's your definition of "cheap"?
219  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBuku - Gambling made for players on: May 25, 2016, 05:36:44 AM
"Sadly BitBuku is not supported on mobile devices"

Can't you just allow mobiles to use the desktop site? Wouldn't that be much simpler?
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: May 25, 2016, 05:03:56 AM
I don't think slots are fun. You just press a button and hope to win. It's like jackpot. It's more fun and addictive when you have control (be it imaginary or not), as you will feel you could've done better.
