What is an instaminer, some sort of exploit? When the mining difficulty goes down a person or multipool can throw an overload of hashpower on the mining network to try to mine many blocks in a short amount of time. The result is a high difficulty for anyone trying to continue mining after that. And that's why I think eqt devs should work in a dinamyc retargeting algo to avoid this type of chain kidnapping. With the hashing power in the market in 2017, long fixed diff coins could have real problems because of this. |

Depende de la dificultad y los mineros que estén en la red y que cada vez que aumenta la recompensa se va mejorando. hi guys, rewards are being paid out for nodes? i setup two MN's, but haven't seen any payout for two days. further i do see them registered and "enabled" on the masternode list. thoughts? thanks!
576 blocks aprox. are mined per day. You need to enter in the MN's payment list (your masternode been confirmed and working for a complete MN round or so) and the advance all your way in the MN's queue. There are 609 MN's now, so you will need a bit more of 48 hours to start to get payments, one every day average per node. OTOH, ENT is being mined at a quite higher rate than some weeks before. Reward has fallen from 11 to 8 ENT... |

But afterall they are also the ones working for free the past months to get us where we are today. So personally I would like to listen to their opinion before any move. I like discussion and they should have an important saying. Ok, I see your point here and your interest for listening their opinion, but seriously, what if Trex is coming tomorrow? Would love Richie listing $XEL, but being listed in Nova is a problem for coin reputation? IMHO, no, it's a Swedish (strong legislation over companies) company that lists almost any coin required for their users, and maintain them a lot of months with 0 volume. I have been trading there for a while with no problems at all. XCurrency is still tradeable thanks to them, a coin with more development than 95% of coins out there. I will not ask for coin listing in Nova. But I will not see it as a bad move. Interesting discussion, really. How does collateral work? I think i missed this part.
Collateral is the ammount of ENT (1000 per node) you tied to the node and block for mixing and so on. You should made: eternitynode genkey getaccountaddress 'nodename' send 1000 (exactly 1000) ent to that address eternitynode outputs to find the collateral tx id and the bit (something like lotofnumbersandcharshere 0 or lotofnumbersandcharshere 1) and then put all the info in your node conf file and in your controller conf file. You can take a look to PIVx instructions to made a node taking into account any time you see the word masternode you should type eternitynode and collateral is 1000 ent instead of 10000 pivx Salute |

I have a bunch of them working without problems. Check your eternitynode.conf (ip ok, privkey ok, collateral ok) and remember you have to wait at least 15 blocks after your collateral sending is confirmed to activate the node.
If you go to the node and exec 'eternity-cli eternitynode status' and you see it as active you should begin to recieve payments after 20 hours aprox.

What's up with coinmarketcap and the coin totals?
I think it's a problem with total coin supply vs available coin supply. OBA, maybe you could contact them to inform about the burned coins and the total supply left. It will add the coin cap to the data, it would be good for the coin. Salute whats the current "real" coin supply? 54-20=34M coins |

Been watching this for what seems like an age, but still think it's got the potential so is worth it.
It's been an age, I agree with you. Thanks for the support throughout. Wallet is tested and ready for launch. Now finalizing graphics and documentation (it doesn't need much technical docs, just implementation docs). Then all I have to do is block off time for launch! Impatiently waiting for the release. The idea of video live news services in a non censorship, decentralised way is far more interesting of most of the coins out there. And I hope notsofast launch it with a GPU minable algo |
