201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My observation on memecoins seeking legitimacy. Cool or not cool? on: March 14, 2024, 11:59:00 AM
At this point, I don't even know what to think. Meme coins out here stopping the memeing and seeking real legitimacy. Will their utility moves work or will they always be tainted as lucky jokes? One thing' I know for sure, the memecoin realm is getting weird.

Most of the meme coin is now moving to the ponzi feature as their “utility” but still these tokens are worthless. They are just adding this shit utility because this is what their investors like but too dumb that they invested on meme coin instead of real project.

Meme coin still a meme coin which is worthless no matter what feature they introduced because they have no real utility or else they shouldn’t categorize being meme coin and move to DeFi. The problem is most this meme coin is just following the trend of being meme despite they are not already a meme just to get the hype. They are just ponzi.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you stake on a potential(obvious) loosing team just for love? on: March 14, 2024, 11:54:28 AM
To be sincere I can't do no such thing with my money all in the name of the love of my football club. I can always give that moral support even when it's obvious they are going to lose the game but it won't go beyond moral to financial in my gambling for or against them.

I would be like that too, I don't want to risk my money just because it is my favorite team. If I know that the match will not go smoothly, then instead I will bet on the opposing team even though people say that I am not loyal or support my favorite team. Because this is not about morality or loyalty, but it is money, and I don't want to lose money just because I support a team that will lose. It is much better for me to provide direct support to my team, rather than having to bet on them and then lose.

Correct, Supporting is different to gambling for your tea, because you will not gonna give an impact to support your team. You can use your data about your team to bet with them or against them since you knew them very well.

It’s cery absurd to waste money for a bet that you dedicate to support them because you can just use the money to purchase team merchandise rather than giving it to the casino. The only time I bet on my favorite team despite being underdog is when I pick am AH pick with them when the enemy team is not that strong for them to have a huge gap on score.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Try to stick to your instincts as a gambler on: March 11, 2024, 01:37:01 PM
Trusting your instincts is very important. It sounds like you had a strong feeling about those games, but later on, decided to cash out early instead of sticking to your initial prediction. It's frustrating when things don't go or play out the way we anticipate, especially when we let our doubt influence our decisions. It's a lesson learned that next time, you can trust your gut a bit more and see how things will play out.

I really doubt that this kind of scenario will help user in their future bets because doubts is always a huge factor whenever there’s money at risk. The more you play using money that you can’t afford to lose the more distracted and doubtful you are as the match proceed. Gambler never learn lesson because each bet is independent to each other which means what happened to your previous bet will not happened exactly to your future bets that’s why there’s always a confusion on gambling.

All this doubt and confusion will be avoided if gambler will just bet small money or an amount they are willing to lose so that they can stick to their decision without thinking again.
204  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SOLVED] Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: March 11, 2024, 01:18:18 PM
Both are grateful for what happen, at least they came back to settle their problems, unlike other gambling sites who would just easily go for an easy route which is the exit scam. You don't see a lot of casinos fixing their problem, so someone who are waiting to get their problem solved and finally got solved, thanking the casino is not a big deal.
You are talking like they solved all of their issues like BC.GAME etc when the reality is that they clearly didn't. They processed many small payments, but several big payments are still pending.

Check some of the posts above properly to properly understand the entire situation.

Sadly you’re right, As the amount already disclosed here from the paid participants it shows that they only paid small balance from users that is active on this thread while leave all the huge balance.

They are also using the reason that some users funds is seize due to violation of the ToS which is probably an excuse to getaway. They become silent again after crypto pump hard and I will not be surprised if they come back again once the crypto market dump and pay all the refund in crypto with less fiat value while they take profit from the crypto market price pump.
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling : Next Generation Challenges on: March 11, 2024, 12:20:24 PM
Social gambling does not work. It has been tried so many times, and every attempt has failed. It was the next big thing 15 years ago, it's the next big thing still. That should tell you everything.

In old generation yes because people back then preferred gambling alone but new generation is more involved on social media and you see it for yourself how big the social network through influencers, streamers and other user living on social medial.

I believe this the basis on why they brought up social gaming as the next big thing in the future since current generation really like socializing online. In fact we are already dominated by this social media platform and gambling industry is already tapping on this platform for promotion.

There’s no evidence that social gaming might still be hot in future but as long as social media platform is popular. There’s a high chance than social gambling is really the future.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you had this gambling experience? on: March 11, 2024, 12:14:10 PM
Does anyone also has it this way at one time or the other with their predictions.

I have a lot of experience like this winning on time that I’m not really expecting to win because I just place bet on match that I just saw when browsing live matches. The only difference is I bet same amount of money regardless if I’m in a mood for sports betting or not because I always consider my luck that might hit so betting a normal amount at anytime is always what I’m doing.

In your case, maybe betting a significant amount affects your judgement without noticing it. There’s a chance that you are holding back your pick just because you think about your money being lose compared when you are betting small because you are whatever you want your bet.
207  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Pixels Buy & Sell Dito sa Local Pilipinas on: March 10, 2024, 04:34:33 PM

208  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware Shuffle.com Shady Casino/Sportsbook on: March 10, 2024, 01:15:59 PM

My problem is with three things;
1) Asking for KYC when I am literally under $1000 total wagered (WHO THIS KYC INFORMATION EVEN GOES TO??)
2) Refusing to even let me withdraw/close my account
3) Hiding behind their ToS and slow support which ceased communication

Your problem is this while you didn’t bother to read the ToS before you deposit or even when you are already playing frequently? Regardless the amount of your current balance they have the right ask you KYC.

You mention that you have many years of playing in the casino but do play frequently on crypto casino because KYC is already a thing ever since licensed is already introduced for online casino. Your problem is very easy to resolve by undergoing KYC because this is something that you agreed when you sign up on this casino. This issue is not a scam accusation but rather a negligence on user side for not reading ToS.
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We need more multiplayer casino games! on: March 10, 2024, 01:04:40 PM
There’s already a live slot games which users can chip in with the streamers that playing slots and win together with the streamer. It’s not really a multiplayer game but the profit sharing is the same since you are betting on same game with the streamers as your player.

I remember fishing game when I saw this topic since it’s a multiplayer game but still a game of chance since you can sneak a huge win from whales even if they are using much better nets. I still don’t see this kind of game being applied on crypto casino but this game is already available in online casino here in my country. Maybe crypto casino is not really interested on multiplayer games?
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Blackrock control BTC? on: March 10, 2024, 08:58:46 AM

But then again, do you think this might back fire on us in the longer term? We all know what these men are all after is to be in control and that's why BTC came into reality cancelling all that making everyone their own Government of their assets.

This is the common misconception about Blackrock. They don’t plan to own that Bitcoin for holdings but rather they will just sell it to their clients that wants to own their own Bitcoin. Blackrock is just holding it for their client but they don’t have the power to sell it by themselves without the consent of their client.

Blackrock gains money through commission and fee by selling ETF. They are not the one who owns the Bitcoin but the client who invested funds to them. It’s not Blackrock you should be afraid of but rather those customers that buying Bitcoin because they are the one who will dump the market with their holdings.
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A call to self-examining our gambling habit. on: March 09, 2024, 04:08:40 PM
I think it's hard to self examine because a gambler is always chasing losses. His thought process is just to recover the money lost.
So the chances of him self examining his gambling addiction becomes very low since he would fine every chance to play more and recover the losses.
There should be some kind of strategy so that addicted people has to forcefully self-examine their gambling habits.
Only then, we can potentially see some positive results out of it.

Addicted gambler is beyond saving and not applicable to this matter. I believe OP is addressing this topic to those regular gambler that is still not addicted since you can self-examine your gambling habit whenever you lose some so that you can develop a strategy or practice to control your gambling or to improve your strategy so that you can’t be tempted to play more when losing.

I’m always doing this naturally whenever I loss since I’m always thinking where did I go wrong for my game turn to lose and most of the time I conclude it’s due to greediness on chasing huge win on a short period of time.
212  Economy / Gambling / Re: SmartArena.online - web3 platform for cash battles via smart contracts! on: March 09, 2024, 03:33:36 PM
All I can see here is a bootleg version of Rollbit PVP Duel Arena games. This casino doesn’t offer any entertaining animation on every battle and just plain smart contract to determined the winner. The idea is good due to the use of smart contract for transparency of the game but I’m doubtful on how players will enjoy this kind of game that offers just a plain text game.

The website seems like not fully finished since there’s still some error on display when browsing the casino.

anyway all your advise must be considered and followed by OP if he really wanted to have better engagement here in forum.

Your suggestion is correct to move this thread on altcoin board but I doubt doing that will receive better engagement since that board is full of bullcrap bounties.
213  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the point of registering on a CEX if you don't trade? on: March 09, 2024, 03:02:59 PM
Hello,

Now that there are quite a few solutions for buying or staking cryptos, I was wondering what's the point of going through a CEX when you're not trading. I'm sure there are things I don't know, but I'd love to know all the things that are, perhaps, super interesting.

Who’s doing this? Why do you come up to this question? It’s absurd to create a CEX account if you will not use it.

If you are talking about those CEX account that registered before the existence of DeFi then there’s nothing wrong with it since your exchange doesn’t charge you any fee for a dormant account.

Also some crypto holders use CEX to hold their assets so that they can sell or buy immediately once there’s a price action on crypto so tha5 they will not be late for profit.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does possessing information play an important role in betting ? on: March 09, 2024, 02:59:31 PM
Possessing the correct information in the world of gambling is an advanced and useful step, as it makes the player play more comfortably without pressure from other players, which can change the course of the game at any time, increase the percentage of chances of profit, and reduce the percentage of losses on the other hand.

Most of this information available on sports is always being considered by bookmaker when placing odds. There might be some error sometimes on odds but it’s not happening in daily basis. So the information you are pertaining is the reason why there’s low odds and high odds on bet picks.

Quote
-Do you apply  this strategy while gambling?

Yeah because some information is very crucial sometimes that can give huge impact on the game. Being informed when placing your bets is really the best move to play safely.

Quote
-How do you benefit from it ?

It helps me to win a little bit but still luck gives a huge factor on the result of the games because sometimes players have bad game unexpectedly. This kind of information is not available everywhere so it’s still based on luck in the end.
215  Other / Meta / Re: Old usernames and notifier on: March 08, 2024, 02:40:51 PM
The telegram bot is registered text based, which you need to input your username for you to get notified when someone mention you or quote your post, actually you can register other usernames too. If the registered btt username in telegram is your old btt username and it was mentioned or quoted by someone then possibly you will still receive a notification. Until you changed it, or use the track phrase with your old or new username instead.
True but that's only if members were to mention their old user names and for what reasons? And when users changes names on the forum, just few members would recognize their old names( those are members who were on the forum before the changes were made). I have tried searching before for old user names using ninjastic.space but it's not possible. Let's wait though for the above mentioned to reply and share their experience.

There’s a feature on the notifier bot that allows you to track a phrase or track user(I’m not sure if this will work) so that you will be notified incase someone mention that exact phrase on this case their old username.  These user that change username probably track their old username for the mention in case someone still doesn’t know their new username.

As @PX-Z said, Telegram bot will just notify you based on what you set during the startup.

@Tryninja sir, I still didn’t try if the bot will work if you input different UID to a username. Will the bot gives you a notification from 2 accounts?
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thorchain (RUNE) is soon obsolete, here's why. on: March 08, 2024, 01:20:48 PM
Why do you need to use DEX if you are doing day trading on blockchain with high transaction fee like Ethereum. Besides Thorchain offers trading of real Bitcoin that’s why it’s fee high.

Trading it off-chain will make it just trading with wrapped tokens which is not real Bitcoin. Just purchased wrapped Bitcoin on less transaction fees blockchain such as BSC if you are just trading off chain Bitcoin.

Crypto holders is now conscious about their holdings and they don’t trust anymore any wrapped tokens especially Bitcoin because it’s not a real Bitcoin.
217  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reee: Which campaign has the most spammers? on: March 08, 2024, 01:14:52 PM
The problem on Stake campaign despite they have a lot of people handling the campaign is most of them don’t use the forum personally to have the idea on what’s good quality post is. Most of the Stake participants especially on gambling boards makes their post unnecessary long despite the content is so simple and can be expressed on few line of sentence.

Probably the Stake CM based their scoring on the length of the post not on the actual thought.  This is probably the reason why they still keep a lot of purchased account and AI spammer.

Their pay rate too is insanely low that’s why users are posting are just to get max payment and bonus.

Sometimes it makes more sense to include more details in conversation rather than simply one or two liner responses. Most people are more interested in the details and how you came to such a conclusion than the answers themselves.

I have no problem on reading a more detailed post as long as it’s not a forced prolonged which can be end on simple sentence. Making it more detailed is different than what I’m describing here. I don’t want to quote post here but I talking about post that doesn’t make sense at all yet constructed on 2 to 3 paragraphs long.

Quote
Stake signature is no different from other campaigns; they are only receiving negative energy because the manager does not belong to any club or pays more attention to forum politics, the DT, or the Merit system.

Stake is different because they allowed user to participate even if some of them has proven alt of scammer, ban evader, shitposter, purchased account and many more. It’s not about the manager specifically but rather how they manage their campaign.

My postings are misinterpreted for AI-generated content since they are perhaps too brilliant to be written by humans. I guess.

218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your go-to sports betting risk management strategies? on: March 08, 2024, 12:43:38 PM

2 Arbitrage Betting - Here you bets on all possible outcomes of an event with different bookmakers to secure a profit no matter of the outcome.

This is the most effective strategy but I think this option shouldn’t be in the choices since casino deem this strategy as taking advantage with their odds error. You will violate their ToS if you will caught using this so even if this strategy is working effectively I doubt that you can still use this without encountering problem long term.

Quote
4. Matched Betting:  It is involves the use of free bets and promotions from bookmakers to cover all possible outcomes of a game and guarantee a profit.

This is my favorite strategy too but just like arbitrage betting, casino will not allow user that is just betting with promotion. They will just exclude you on participating the promotion just like what happened to me before.

In reality, there will be no working strategy that will give you almost sure win because casino will just ban that strategy. Sports analysis is still the best method so that you can just place a straight bet.

220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take Profits! Its important! on: March 07, 2024, 03:21:51 PM
I've seen this happening each cycle.

We all need to understand that 1st priority in crypto is surviving. Profits are in 2nd place. Yes that sounds counterintuitive, but it's really simple. The real skill is not in making money. The real skill is in keeping it.

I hope you found this useful. Keep up the flow, and may the force be with you.

You shouldn’t invest money if your priority is keeping it. Just put in the bank and wait for the annual income if your goal is survival of your asset rather than profit.

You should invest only what you can afford to lose so that you are free to take necessary risk to make profit. Taking profit is always a good idea since any form of profit is good. But your suggestion of prioritizing the safety of your asset first before the profit will just limit your earning potential since you will keep early selling when there’s price volatility that is normal in crypto.
