201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too advanced to get into Bitcoin now? on: February 23, 2024, 08:31:44 PM
Waiting for Bitcoin' potential crash or invest now depends on the individual decision and his investment ,for me it is still not too late to buy Bitcoin in spite of the price movement, remember when rising,it is also expected to fall , it's not about timing. Bitcoin is still in it's early stage and so it has given a lot of chance for growth,it has not gotten to its peak . The taught or reasoning that it is too late to invest in Bitcoin, will spoil your ability to make make good and enough money.
Late or not actually depends on how high the target price will be achieved when starting to invest in Bitcoin. Starting to enter now with a target price of 2x the current price is certainly still good enough, but according to the current market trend, following the market price when it crashes will be more profitable because we will get a cheaper price. Corrections will definitely occur because the price of bitcoin will not always rise. There will be many opportunities that can be utilized well to get cheaper prices.
202  Economy / Speculation / Re: DCA is the most important in investing. on: February 23, 2024, 07:09:04 PM
Both are valid Bitcoin investment strategies. Even to an investor with a lot of money, the DCA approach is also valid. To somebody who doesn't have much money, DCA might be a little disadvantageous because he can only buy a small amount every time and that's not wise with regard to fees. He better grow his savings to a significant amount first before buying.

With right timing, lump sum buying would be more profitable than DCA. But DCA itself is a method that responds to the fact that right timing is hard to achieve.
Purchasing all at once or all in requires a fairly thorough analysis and must know where the lowest price will be purchased. If it's just a lump sum purchase, you have to be prepared for a decline that might occur beyond predictions. Profiting more than DCA certainly won't always happen, DCA is more about gradual purchases that take advantage of every price drop and it will accumulate an average of purchases. Sometimes average buying is better than buying all at once.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Owner of 8K bitcoin lost in landfill threatens to bankrupt local council on: February 23, 2024, 11:46:57 AM
It truly is a story of someone ruining their life by not being able to let go. Instead of moving on with his life he’s going to spend his entire life chasing what could have been. A shame that having all the Bitcoin became a curse to him. If he had just poured all his resources into getting more BTC instead of chasing what he lost he probably would have ended up pretty well off.
The man had a dead end and couldn't think clearly anymore because he lost 8K bitcoins from his mining. Even though it was still 2013 and he could get more bitcoins easily because the price was still under $1000. Just try if he just focused on mining again and looking for more Bitcoins, then losing 8k Bitcoins wouldn't be a dark tragedy in his life. This is because he can't move on and can't think forward and only focuses on a search that hasn't found a common ground until now. But if we were in that man's position, of course stress would hit us and we don't know what we would do.
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to own your bitcoin on: February 23, 2024, 10:54:47 AM
You are very lucky to have utilize the opportunity when the Bitcoin price was that low, it seems you invested huge for you to have seem such excited, actually it was wise for you to have invest on Bitcoin then because there are people who are still waiting for the Bitcoin price to drop more before they could invest and the price keep going higher so I believe that every moment is actually good for people to invest on Bitcoin.
Every time the Bitcoin price is good for entering Bitcoin, but you also have to consider whether you are entering at a price that is good enough to support the profits you will get. If the target price you want is still quite far away or at the new ATH the current price is certainly still more than half of it. We will see bitcoin rise higher from now if it holds for the long term. You only need to make purchases in stages to get a good purchase price, it must be managed well.
205  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH before halving. Is it possible? on: February 23, 2024, 10:09:34 AM
There is definitely an interesting growing for bitcoin that much is true, but that also doesn't mean that we are not going to get anything substantial neither. We need to make sure that we are not too late, but also not attacking it like it is the last day neither. Don't like go out and get some loan from a bank to buy bitcoin, that may not be good for you, with interest and how you need to pay every month, and that would make all of this terrible for you.

It would be smarter to invest into something with your own money, that would make it a lot easier to be able to hold it, if you need to end up selling then you will have trouble. I agree that the hype is real and we are looking at something growing, but we need to be careful.
As the simple saying goes, use money you can afford to lose because it will make things easier. Don't use savings for your living, borrowed money and money that is still needed for other purposes. The investment is to gain profits within a predetermined period of time, not to hold for life or only sell at a loss. We need to be careful in every step, in determining investments, carry out good management that has been taken into account. ATH will welcome us happily and provide the benefits we want.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 22, 2024, 09:03:38 PM
Do you really think Manchester city would be punished?
I really don't think all this rules are being applied to a bigger teams, because it has already been proven by the European football body that Manchester city have broken the rules on multiple occasions, but due to their status and financial power, they still find away around it, and they went away without being punished by expulsion,  but if it were for a smaller teams that did even half of what Manchester city have done, in terms of breaking the rules, all the punishment would have been applied to that team.

~snip~

If it's like this then the EPL will slowly disintegrate. Everyone should have the same rights, because they are in one main competition. It's a shame for a small club, if everything is measured in money. Small clubs that are able to compete will easily be eliminated and champions are also determined by money. If something like this happens then UEFA and FIFA must immediately step in. Because they have the authority to make football a business that is in a state of order and fair play. I am waiting for the latest news release from the FA, hopefully they are not silent because of money.
207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie traders, work on yourself. on: February 22, 2024, 06:26:26 PM
NEWBIES, you should be concious of the fact that perhaps ALL of the the advice posted in the topic might be coming from people who don't belong to the top 10% of traders who actually make consistent profit from "trading".

Be careful of those advice, because most of them WON'T make you more profitable against the top traders, and their army of bots. Merely choose a good asset that will continue to exist for decades, then buy and HODL. Buy the DIP, DCA, or another accumulation strategy, just do where you are comfortable.
BUY DIP, HODL, DCA I agree with this strategy, because if a beginner only makes trades that don't produce results it will give a lot of losses. buy and hold assets that have good potential in the future and that will provide big profits when the bull market arrives. Rather than just trusting other people's advice and not fully knowing how the trading system works, it would be a big risk. Advice from other people cannot be used as a benchmark for trading, do not follow other people's trading advice, they also get commissions from what they share.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 22, 2024, 05:04:28 PM
~snip~

Now, they just have to continue to focus on continuing their positive trend by maintaining chemistry and cooperation between players so that the position they get in the Bundesliga now continues to last until the end and destroys the hegemony that Bayern has built for more than a decade.

Yes, Leverkusen is now the favorite after never losing until now. They were even able to make Munich make the decision to prepare to look for a new coach next season. This means that Xavi is one of the reasons Tuchel only reached the end of this season in Munich. Although I haven't received official news from Bayern Munich. But remember the season still leaves enough points for Muncen if Leverkusen makes a mistake. The opportunity is still there but it is difficult.
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 22, 2024, 04:26:38 PM
AC Milan looks to be safe at the second position and they are similar to Juventus, both of them don't have chance to beat Inter Milan in this season for Scudetto. AC Milan still have Europa League to fight and they already got big win in a first leg play-off. Securing their third position in Serie A or winning Europa League will help them going to Champions League next season. They have two ways to achieve that ticket to Champions League 2024 - 2025.
I didn't see this match, but I was quite surprised. Milan can lose to Monza. Indeed, Milan only played with 10 players when Jovic got a red card. But during normal time even Milan were able to score. But in extra time, they failed to maintain a draw. Of course this bad result makes them feel heavy because they are going to France against Rennes. For the UEFA League Play Offs, especially Rafel Leao is not in good shape. But they only need a draw to qualify or lose by no more than 2 goals.
210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can we understand market going to be Bear? on: February 21, 2024, 09:31:46 PM
~snip~

This is just a matter of study and I am not saying there is a much greater degree of truth because if there were people who were able to see the price of Bitcoin correctly in the future then many people would buy it. We are only able to make predictions based on previous historical data, but the level of accuracy is not necessarily what we can get.
What is clear is that it is just a prediction and there is no 100% accuracy that will occur. there will be incompatibilities that could occur. Bitcoin market trends continue to change, volatility is very high and there are many factors that can influence the price of Bitcoin. Past historical data will not be the same as the current situation. we can only conclude that we are entering a bullish market or a bearish market. Remember that whales also have the power to influence market prices, especially when combined with the news media they own which can be used to spread FOMO or FUD.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Owner of 8K bitcoin lost in landfill threatens to bankrupt local council on: February 21, 2024, 08:40:20 PM
What drives him is not logic nor reason but rather his insanity and regret. I don't understand how it would be the local council's fault if he trashed his hard drive knowingly. If he were to be granted rights to dive into the landfill and possibly get the hard drive, what are the chances that it's not severely damaged by corrosion and other elements? It's been years, and even the strongest metal, when exposed to the chemicals, moisture, and other such things in the landfill, will corrode or possibly even disintegrate. It's time to give up that 8k bitcoins. This dude is just moved by false hopes.
It seems he has gone crazy because he lost 8k Bitcoins due to his own mistake, becomes very regretful and is even willing to take any action to find the hard disk. It's been years and can the hard disk still be saved if it is in a pile of other rubbish? He lives with a lifetime of regret and becomes very crazy when he can't get it back.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to own your bitcoin on: February 21, 2024, 07:07:12 PM
~snip~
The fact is that Bitcoin is only used as an investment tool that provides profits, with high volatility. The profits are obtained more quickly and vice versa. The use of Bitcoin is no longer related to its main use for transactions, but rather as a speculative asset. But whether to trust Bitcoin when it is high or low depends on each person, but now we are starting to believe that Bitcoin can provide extraordinary profits. More and more people are entering, let alone approaching Halving
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 21, 2024, 06:03:19 PM
I knew Girona would find it difficult to defeat Atletico Bilbao yesterday and it became more harder when the home team scored first. They are known to be very defensive that's why if you manage to see an opening, take it without wasting chances. Girona struggled in that game and it got me wondering how they were able to beat other teams before they met Real Madrid because normally, Girona even though they are a goal or two down, you'd notice that they'd keep fighting toll they get the three points but it was obvious Atletico Bilbao had done their homework and decided to lock shop after the second goal was gotten by the visitors.
Really happy to hear Girona lost. This means Madrid's points gap is still quite big. If you look at this match, I give a bad score to Girona's defense. First half mistakes allowed Athletic Club to score a quick goal, which put Girona under mental pressure. The 3rd goal was also the fault of Girona's defense. So if Girona hadn't made this mistake they probably would have won or at least drawn and got 1 point.

Luka Modric is old so it's natural that his performance is decreasing, experience is very important, but usually Carlo Ancelotti only uses Luka Modric as a reserve player, but why did Ancelotti take the tough decision to put Modric as the main player even though there are other players who have better stamina? But yes, this has become the coach's decision, but at least in future matches Ancelotti must rotate the players correctly so as not to make mistakes.
This is what I fear for Madrid, they stumble over a small pebble. If it continues then Real Madrid will work even harder to stay number 1 until the end. As I see it, the Belingham factor looks very much needed. There was no movement or creative passing from Madrid's midfielders. In addition, Rayo put a lot of players in the defense. This made it difficult for Real Madrid to add goals. Naturally, many teams defend and frustrate the big teams and this happened in Madrid vs Rayo. Luckily they did not lose and got 1 point.
215  Economy / Speculation / Re: DCA is the most important in investing. on: February 20, 2024, 09:50:19 PM
Make sense, but you must separate the trading if you are looking forward in investing where the Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) applies.
What if you keep losing in your trades but the one you hold keeps increasing the value, so more likely you  are making break even?
So stop trading if it always gives losses. During a bearish market, the situation will not be good and there will only be a decline. Try to stay away from markets that are unstable and tend to fall. But when the market starts to fluctuate with a lot of positive news and many investors start to enter, then fast trades can be done quite easily. Just need to adjust when to stop and when to trade. no need to force to gain profits from short-term trades, just hold on.
216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bull Charging or Just Warming Up Post-Halving? on: February 20, 2024, 09:06:07 PM
The approaching halving is only one of the reasons for the current price surge in Bitcoin. But in general, this is only a warm-up, since, based on practice, real bullish market growth is expected only within a year after the halving itself. In the meantime, the price of Bitcoin will rise as positive news appears, but then a correction will occur. Since the price of Bitcoin has risen significantly recently, I expect a correction to occur in the near future. Bitcoin has already stopped its growth and fell below $52,000. Let's see what will happen next.
What is happening now is that the price has exceeded $52,000 and that is a sign that bullishness has arrived and will soon touch the final ATH above $60,000. I am of course still optimistic that the price of bitcoin will continue to strengthen as long as positive news persists and demand increases. people are buying and preparing for the upcoming halving. Buy and hold now is a pretty good opportunity, but consider the risks when a correction occurs.
217  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH before halving. Is it possible? on: February 20, 2024, 08:29:05 PM
So far I also have the same belief regarding this possibility, it's just that we can't confirm it yet. Regarding possibilities, anything is possible and will happen because the crypto market is uncontrolled and does not have to be the same as what happened before. If a new ATH hit before the halving, then this will be a new history for bitcoin so predicting its price between cycles becomes increasingly difficult.

If I had the option, then I am more confident that a new ATH will occur after the halving. The price has crossed $52k and may continue to test new resistance above, but that is unlikely to happen if bitcoin demand ahead of the halving does not increase rapidly. Currently the demand for bitcoin has increased, but to match the previous price record we have to get more big investors in the market.
A significant increase can be seen currently, Bitcoin even reached a price of $52,400 currently and this will continue as demand increases. The halving will occur in a few months and this will be the point where Bitcoin prices will continue to strengthen. But you have to be alert because corrections will definitely happen and don't panic when the correction comes.

Please discuss Upamecano. Another red card? A pattern of bad luck is costing the club big time. Tuchel deserves criticism now that Leverkusen is 8 points ahead. It seems like a bigger issue than Tuchel or Upamecano. Is it team morale, strategy, or something else?
And this season Bayern Munich will be threatened without a title. They lost the German Cup, in the league they have a wide enough gap in points. Then for the UCL, Munich doesn't convince me either. From the sources I've read, this is the first time Munich have lost 3 matches directly since 2015.  There is no problem for the front line, as Kane continues to be productive until now. Tuchel seems to have to be brave to experiment with his players. There has been no news of dismissal, it seems Bayern want to give Tuchel a chance. Maybe if he continues to be bad he will be the same as Julian Nagelsmann.

219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 20, 2024, 12:03:37 PM
so i don't think a 5-point lead is much. there are still 36 points up for grabs this season. there could still be one or two surprises in the last 12 matchdays.
however, leverkusen haven't had a coach as good as xabi alonso in the last 20 years. xabi is a successful guy who always wants to win.
and that could really be the way to success this year. but you know bayern munich.
i only believe in the championship for leverkusen when hrádecký or wirtz are holding the championship trophy aloft  Wink
Remember Leverkusen have really great stats. In 32 matches to date they haven't lost. They have scored 95 goals in 32 matches. This indicates that they are very consistent with their performance. This record is the same as Hansi Flick's record with Bayern Munich in 2019/2020. So Bayern will probably continue to hope they will lose a few matches, but looking at the statistics it seems difficult.

220  Economy / Speculation / Re: DCA is the most important in investing. on: February 19, 2024, 08:40:27 PM
That's the utilization and perhaps the opportunity at DCA is still quite relevant and much more feasible and when someone has management it will definitely be much easier to set the desired standards. If the concept is short term, it may be true as you say and we must be able to see opportunities in accumulated purchases and when selling them to make a profit. Because short-term patterns are a little more difficult to implement unless people understand the conditions of Bitcoin's movement in the market and habits, when they are not experienced enough, it will be difficult to see Bitcoin's movement in the market in the short term because of the decline and correction processes that occur all the time.

Should be more prepared because we have decided to undertake long term investments and I prefer holding rather than trading in the short term. Because we don't need to worry and check every moment of the Bitcoin journey in the market. Halving will provide maximum profits and that is why I much prefer holding in the long term.
I actually do both, Holding and also make short term trades so that I have short term profits when trading and also long term profits from Holding a few selected coins. Of course I also buy in stages and I use some of the profits from trading to buy back, and this is a strategy that suits me.
