From 18:00 10/18 to 18:00 10/19, only 62 blocks were created. MNs come online at 5500. The coin is currently at block 4241.
That means 1259 more blocks need to be generated for MNs to become operation, which at the current rate, would be 20 more days. With the BTC fork coming up causing a lot of volatility already and the chain not moving properly on this, I think there's a lot of rough waters ahead.
I like the concept, but it seems like the price is overvalued right now since everything is completely on speculation.. and things aren't working well to begin with. I'll be a buyer of a masternode around 500 sats, which I see some trades bottoming out near. Anything higher than that seems like a huge risk at this point.

I just logged into the site and went to the Shopping Mall area. I see shirts, a vape pen and a VIP pass which doesn't have much explanation.. I don't see where I can buy seeds. I also don't see anywhere where MRJA is actually tied to real seeds.. is there a statement somewhere that the warehouse and harvest are automatically converted into MRJA and coin owners have some ownership in those automatically? I'm pretty sure not. The goal is simply that the coin creator wants to use these in eventual dispensaries. That is speculative.. we're hoping that happens, but there's no guarantee and it's not happening yet. Again, that's a noble goal and I like the idea. If all this is is another masternode coin though, and your numbers above seem like that's all you think it is, then stop the talk about RL and seeds and just say it's speculative. I'd love to be corrected and please point me to statements otherwise where the coin has a real purpose right now and not hopefully at some point in the future. Keccak and skein (and blake) are good for FPGA, don't be surprised if the profit for GPU drops quickly.
A good FPGA programmer can do the miner in some days. It will be 5 time more efficient than GPU, or more.
could you give us some links to Support that Claim? last time i read about fpga there werent even worth considering, would have more luck with usb stick ascis |

Is this release gonna be mandatory update or not? It's hard to keep up with so a lot of different coins and wallets lol. Hope you'll announce it later at slack so i get the notification. It is probably best to just update regardless if it is mandatory or not. well some updates destroy coins.. i usually wait for the mandatory updates, or if some nice usefull Features got added or untill People have no Problems with the updated Version. to Keep up with your favorite coins i suggest bookmarks  you can also open them all at once. or wait. follow on Twitter, most if not all Things get announced there too. |

There's not really a solution to this based on changing the retargeting. X11 is simply broken right now as an algo. Right now, retargetting happens after multiple blocks, which means when an X11 ASIC miner comes online, they get multiple blocks quickly at the low difficulty.. then the diff shoots up for the next few blocks while that miner takes off.
If the retargetting adjusted quicker, then the ASIC miner would just come in for shorter, more frequent bursts. The overall effect would be the same.
Any X11 coin over the next few months is going to have this while the AntMiner D3's and other comparable units fully roll out. After those become common, X11 will only be mineable if you have an ASIC miner. End of story.
All these ASIC miners were announced in June. The devs of the coin could have foreseen this and chosen a different algorithm. It sucks, but Ganja may not enter PoW/PoS mode (block 5500) until early/mid-November and may not actually become fully PoS until the end of the year. That's the state of affairs. If you're holding, you could do well in a few months, but you're going to have to hang on a while.
still this coin is way under value, i suggest to grab as many as you can. ganjaman and his team are very dedicated. the wallet has some unique features and we actualy have real life value. not everybody needs seeds, but you cant deny its value. since people tend to look at roi first this coin will be under value for a while i guess. but also a big marketing campain will increase the demand. |

at some point in time the mining results will balance itself. the first days were crazy profit but now its getting less and less. in november it will be barely profitable if you pay too much for power you will pay on top. but if you stick with it and the price surges up like earlier this year, you will be golden.. high risk, high reward, it will be a nice ride |

You won't be able to make any profit. But if you have free VPS like amazon, google cloud... You will be rich ) what kind of awnser is this? spam alot? your vps as mostly virtualized, means they are virtual maschines without gpu. you could mine with the cpu but there is not much comming in. watch out for nimiq, which is browser blockchain and will change the game. on cryptopia i saw someone selling a way to mine eth with server, but im pretty sure it is fake. you wont get rich with mining alone. |

That is exactly why more competition would be needed in the market.
It would make companies treat hardware buying customers better.
there is competition in the market but people mostly ignore them. efficency is still a great factor and as long as bitman has the best efficency nothing will change. i would say stop asic mining and go into masternodes.. those are hot right now and also come with a great roi sometimes. |

The ASRock riser kit came out when ribbon risers were popular. I'm not sure the ASRock kit is better than using USB risers. The USB 6-pin risers have four capacitors for a stable current flow and a voltage regulator to prevent spikes, which the ASRock risers don't have. It's also questionable if providing power from the PCI-E slots for 13 cards through the motherboard is a good idea. The ASRock riser kit is expensive at $30 each too.
oh i see, i thought they were new for the 13 pci slot boards.. this old overpriced hardware is not very good indeed. them usb raisers are very good.. not much problems with them if you take care of them |

I've used Asrock H81 boards without molex. However, the manual for H110 makes it sound like total meltdown if you don't use molex. Thought, maybe, since it's 13 GPUs, it might be different. Thanks for the info! Thanks! Where is the "power check" in the bios? What's is called? Also, per the manual, and because it's 13 gpu's, it says these molex must be plugged in. I have to believe it's for a reason since this is a "mining" board, and ASrock is well aware of powered risers, no? Are you using this board now? Is the "power check" option in the bios something different? Where can I find it specifically? You don't need to use the motherboard molex PCI-E supplemental power when using all powered risers. You do need to disable the power check in the Bios or you will get a warning message at Post.
the reason is if you dont use powerered risers than you can connect the onoard molex and still have enough power. if you look at the manual you can read that these molex supply extra power to pci slots I think they have the warning because the riser kits ASRock sells provide +12V power through a cable connected to the PCI-E slots. In that case, you definitely need to use the PCI-E supplemental power connectors on the motherboard. http://www.asrock.com/mb/spec/card.asp?Model=BTC+PRO+KitUSB powered risers supply +12V power directly from the PSU and there is only a small +3.3V current coming from the PCI-E slot through the USB cable to the riser. That's why ASRock lets you disable the warning, though they should make more clear when you need to use the PCI-E supplemental power connectors. nice riser kit, i like and yeah, those would need the molex connected |
