Performance is ridiculously low, the only way to get CENT is to buy and every 9 days will give an interest of 0.0003% So its a very early POS coin or was POS introduced in 2014? Performance will increase with an upgrade and more nodes? Notwithstanding the SAT was more concrete than would CENT.
Had 7.7 billion of SATs and SAT2 were created with a premine 100% bone 7,700,000. For CENT the problem is that we do not know how many actually circulating whereby a hypothetical premine of 49 billion (if we think like many, many of these coins have been lost) would premine worrying.
I guess it's very difficult to get, but it would be ideal to know how many actually circulate CENTs
We know how many coins have been created but it's impossible to know how many have been destroyed by way of wallet deletion/corruption etc. In all likelyhood Cryptsy's wallet(s) probably hold the majority of coins that have ever been created. Any coins not reissued from a premine of a relaunched coin could be dumped to an unrecoverable address after a specific deadline. It's been done before. Using the same method as they do by visiting this site and adding this: 0400000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 To 1 - Public ECDSA Key and clicking Send. Then replacing 00 with 37 ( Hex of 55 for the 'P' prefix) at the start of 4 - Adding network bytes to 3 and then clicking Send gives us this Pennies address: PDzkQdJUUQNKMPdoL54Hi5LBsp84dzidpQ  Nobody knows the Private Key for this address and the chances of happening on it accidentally is astronomical. Any coins sent to it would essentially be lost forever and the destruction transaction id's could be made public so that people can verify the coins were actually sent to that address. Hi, I rescued this message recently more than a year of Petr1fied probably solve the problem of lost in a hypothetical division of the currency (at the time was not carried out because of opposition from some large investors) coins, but maybe now it looks okay. Perhaps someone could contact Petr1fied to see if you can make. |

Totally agree with you, but what is done should be done with complete transparency (even if you decide to split the currency).
In 2013 and 2014 many coins they were lost and should not end up in the hands of anyone who could sink the currency forever.
Otherwise I will support any initiative to improve CENT.

20 Billion CENT for rich list creation. Please get someone to get this stuff done. All the bounty is from my own fund, while it's not much... it will be better if others could come forward to offer a better reward. The offer have been placed in www.cent.rocks website http://www.cent.rocks/free-cent/ and also in Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/CENT/comments/37id0y/richlist/This will be among the few small task that need to be completed soonest possible. After some thought, I think there's nothing wrong with current amount of the CENT. Dividing it will make it more valuable in short term, but where will we go after that ?From now on, I'll take it as it is... but its up to others to weigh-in available options. To be honest, we need create things that will make CENT have a purpose of existence. I have some idea in the concept of gaming/penny auction/ random act of kindness platform/ simple gifting site / children related education & games and etc. If the community see the potential of it, please advise and we shall plan things with limited budget or even crowdfunding it. Please PM or just post here how we could create things / ecosystem for pennies to be adopted or at least seen in the crypto community at large. Tell me if it is really hard to develop a game that also acts as a lightweight wallet. How much will it cost ? Thanks. MANO I will bring another 20 billion for richlist. |

Just a quick progress update...
- Our Twitter Tipbot (@tipcloak) is undergoing final tests before public launch. This will allow the Cloak community to tip each other (and new people) using Twitter, in much the same manner as using IRC and Reddit tipbots.
- Our Android wallet is undergoing a final round of tweaks after some pre-release testing and should be dropping any day now.
- The PoSA changes are going well and the CloakShield 'Receipts' and 'Queue/Retry' functionality is now in place. The developers are also optimizing the CloakShield payload buffers to ensure the data packets are as small as possible. We'll continue to update you with progress (and screenshots where applicable) as the final changes are put into place. These changes should make the PoSA system pretty bullet-proof (save for the forthcoming staking algorithm (PoS) changes to cover the PoSA fees automatically where possible).

This thread has been kinda slow lately. August is a vacation month, so there is so little movement in the forum. ive been paying attention to this coin since 2013 and i aint going nowhere.
I'm also in this currency since 2013 and agree that if we do something not going anywhere, also with the current top coins is impossible to quote against BTC or LTC, besides that Cryptsy may decide to withdraw the trade XRP (as it did with XPM) and that would leave us out of any kind of decent exchange. But what you do, do it well (and as quickly as possible), I do not expect everyone to respond to the issues described above, because that might be eternal, but I would like to Rozu opine if you can or not you can make and from there, leaving little time for people to opine (the term could end later this month), start taking the necessary decisions. If Rozu decides to do and is willing to do so it will have to assign a percentage for their work. I have sent an email to Rozu to see ... |
