Last time so much talks about donations here. The more regular updates and promotion the more donations will be  I don't understand, please explain me. With which money would pay to our dev for regular updates? You are free to share with us your ideas about funding. For myself, I have drawn conclusions, it is better to invest in those projects where the developers team does not beg for money in an ultimatum form. Do you know many projects with a unique technology like ENIGMA ?? On the other hand when the development team does not ask for donations it is because they already have a good stash to dump as soon as they have an opportunity to do so (NOBODY WORKS FREE). On the other hand with CLOAK we are safe from scams, as it is clear that the DEV (which has earned it by default), has hardly any coins to finance. Of all forms I will not touch this subject again. Dear Cloak Community
We're currently working on the v2.0.1.2 wallet release (QT and Daemon), which will be ready in a few days.
We're also in the process of preparing a Raspberry Pi build of the Cloak wallet, which will play an important part in our future plans as the Cloak project moves forward.
In addition to the software updates, we're also putting the finishing touches to our roadmap, which will lay out the exciting steps ahead for the project over the coming months.
The roadmap will be released in a few days (once our artists have worked their presentation magic).
We'd like to take this opportunity to welcome all the new names and faces that have joined the Cloak family. A warm welcome to one and all! 
Team Cloak has also been considerably bolstered of late, with several new members who have already made some great contributions in terms of artwork,
economic principles and network governance plans. We'll explain all this in more detail in the forthcoming roadmap.
A big hello to the old faces who returned to the Cloak community - it's great to have you all back with us...
As many of you are aware, the current Team Cloak is comprised of previous members of the wider Cloak community. Over the previous few years, we've remained entirely self-funded while carrying out the work to make good on the promises of the previous team. We feel we're in a very good position now and are making significant plans for the road ahead. Joe (r3r), our lead developer has been doing the recent Cloak work around his regular development work, but we all feel it's now time for Joe to work full-time on the Cloak project so that he can give his full focus and really help take Cloak to the next level. Our first priority as we move forward is to open source the Cloak project! We feel this is critical for Cloak's future as it gives scope for greater peer review, public code contributions and will also allow the community to follow Cloak's development much more closely. There have of course been some concerns expressed in terms of Cloak 'clones' being created, but we are not particularly concerned by this prospect as immitation is afterall the highest form of flattery. In all seriousness, we have a very strong and talented team behind the project and our exciting plans for the future should work out well for everyone involved in Cloak.
The next major Cloak wallet release will be v2.1.0.0. This version will coincide with Cloak's open sourcing. We are aiming to have this release ready within the next 3 months. There are quite a few things to address for the open sourcing of the project. We'll be conducting an internal security review of the code to ensure there are no exposed attack surfaces for denial-of-service attacks which could disrupt the network. CloakShield and Enigma have both been extended recently and functionality has changed somewhat since the audit conducted by Iain Craig in 2015. We also have some code-cleanup/refactoring to do in preparation for the source release as well as preparation of accompanying documentation which will also need to be ready at the same time. We are very open to the prospect of a new audit style review of Enigma and CloakShield during this time period and if anyone has connections to experienced and trusted cryptocurrency developers who would like to be involved, please get in touch. We have been taking steps internally to arrange something of this nature, but suggestions from the community are as always gratefully received. We are confident that Enigma keeps all funds 100% secure, but appreciate that additional peer review is always desirable.
A Cloak portal site is being created to compliment the roadmap. The portal site will be used to track progress and funding as well as detailing new features or enhancements. In the meantime, Joe has set up a Bitcoin address for those wishing to contribute towards development so that he can focus on Cloak full-time. Team Cloak will of course be helping to contribute to costs wherever we can. Our aim is to raise at least 10 BTC to cover Joe's work for the next 6 months while we work against the items of the roadmap and open source the project. Bitcoin donations are preferred where possible.

I can not make a good comparison because I do not know MONERO, it is surely a big coin and it is in the position that it deserves but what if I have clear is that the technology of CLOAK, has an amazing potential of ascent.

Could you create a fully compatible open source without ENIGMA version?
Exchanges do not need to use ENIGMA at all.
I suppose it is easy and possible to have two versions of CLOAK.
1: Open code without ENIGMA (for exchanges).
2: Code closed (for now) with ENIGMA (for everyone who wants)

Second, the price is down because BTC is up and people, rightly in my opinion, want to realize gains by holding BTC as it breaks through the ATH and with the ETF, I'm holding my cloaks but some are not as confident as I am and I don't blame them. Third, we all know the main thing holding this coin back right now is the lack of being on a major exchange like polo. Marketing will help but until people see major amounts of BTC being spent on cloak and our name near the top of the leader board we will not be noticed or cared about. From what we can tell open sourcing will help with this. That is the next step as outlined in the last update. What you talking about? Over night? Many people wait for years in Cloak, but the development team has not been able to achieve strong growth. Even the previous version of the POSA3 wallet release has caused the price increase to 55k sat. Phoenix wallet release has caused the price drops to 14k! That the development team is to blame for not being able to raise the price of CLOAK, is the biggest stupidity I've read in a long time. CLOAK team have done an exceptional job and we should all be grateful. I think it is even good that the price of CLOAK is cheap (you have to drop ballast before the climb). We have a coin with a unique technology and that will pay off. |

I think it's very bad idea the name change of the currency.
with their mistakes and their successes, CLOAK is already known in the world of altcoins and change the name only serve to confuse potential investors with suspicions and fears scam that generate new coins coming to market.
As to allow alty CLOAK to collaborate with the team, I also seems a bad idea, since it is associated with all the worst moments of the coin.
We now have a large development team that fulfills all its promises, have become a totally anonymous CLOAK currency without masternodes.
I sincerely believe that what we need most right now is a good promotion and have patience for investors to realize the wonder of currency we have.
