2001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Spoetnik Coin on: October 26, 2014, 11:29:01 AM
Oh i envision SpoetnikCoin as ground-breaking, A PHYSICAL BLOCKCHAIN! Imagine a coin so secure that only Spoetnik himself can conduct the transactions on the blockchain. To build the physical blockchain you must purchase blocks directly from Spoetnik himself using bitcoin. Once your blocks are purchased Spoetnik will go buy some lego's and start building the blockchain with your name written on each piece. This process of building the chain never ends and since he will use permanent marker to assign a block to you transactions are not possible but pictures of the physical blockchain will be posted periodically to assure it exists and has not been eaten by a dog. This never ending IPO period will be your only chance to get in on a developing technology that is guaranteed to revolutionize cryptocurrencies forever. THE PHYSICAL BLOCKCHAIN IS THE FUTURE!
+1
We need high security and this is the only way. Go the Physical Blockchain!!!
We just need to make sure his dog doesn't 51% attack the network by eating it.

I'm not concerned or anything, just curious. Smiley

Error!

Can't connect to bitcoind to get live updates from the p2p network. (Tried connecting to bitcoind at 127.0.0.1:13107 and failed.)
We already know about this issue. Hopefully it will get fixed soon,
2007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOTO] Motocoin on: October 22, 2014, 08:04:56 PM
I think we might need a relaunch. I don't think anyone wants to play because the bots have already been playing for months.

Just a week to go before I can claim one...
I hope there'll still be some left.

I have been checking your channel for a new video for the last month but nothing came out, until now. What happened?

Edit:
I guess I should just watch your channel update video. Smiley

I'm glad you're starting up again. I thought you were gone! Smiley

what is the total coin supply?
Well, according to my time he posted at 6:04:54 am
So I assume the coin supply is 60 454. A bit of a weird choice, but hey, when there overtake Bitcoin 1 coin will be worth millions!

Just for fun, I want to make a coin called errcoin. Who's with me?
Hi , this is a coint meant only to discuss 60 454 coin.
I don't understand. We are only supposed to discuss 60,454 coins?

^^ Thanks Mxxxxxx!

Dont forget you get a 10% discount on the ITO price when purchasing with participating coins. There's surely some profits to be made on the deal.

Regards

FIBRE Thread

Fibre Twitter

How i get this discount? Thanks

You will be able to buy BlockNet shares with particitaping currencies at 10% discount , there will be special pairs for it like XC/BLockNet , FIBRE/BLocknet...
lol, not sure if it was intentional but there's a secret message!
2014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [FIBRE] | BLOCKNET | 625k | FibreDark | FibreLock | FibreMixer | FibreGateway | on: October 21, 2014, 12:10:46 PM
Quick feedback on fibrelock:
It's a petty that entering a pattern can only be done by clicking all the buttons seperatly (click, release, click release), rendering it more of a keypad without characters on the buttons.
I was expecting more of a 'swipe' feel similar to the android lock, where you keep the mouse button pressed and make some sort of figure, releasing the mousebutton only after finishing the figure.
This would improve the value of the feature massively and make it truly userfriendly!
Maybe something that can be worked on in future releases. Not that it is a priority. :p

^^ Nice idea
Lol That's what I thought Fibre Lock was. Maybe it would be a nuisance if people are clumsy and accidentally swipe too far and press the wrong button.

You could just enable the on screen keyboard and get the same functionality for any wallet.

Why is commenting disabled? :/
It's not for me
Why not? I like the discussion that goes on there. I made a video and put it up and it got a lot of hate. But I left it there. Its funny looking at the people getting really angry. (not saying this is going to happen to your video)
2017  Economy / Services / Re: BiPolarVPN - Free VPN service! on: October 20, 2014, 03:51:40 AM
What are the benefits of using a vpn?
Simple question, but why not just use your own internet?
I know you can use it for region restricted content, but what else?

2019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOTO] Motocoin on: October 19, 2014, 11:57:55 PM
i jsut replaced it with my wallet.dat and now it says it can't get a lock on the appdata directory. WTF
LOL!
omfg!
i should try it in linux but my linux install on my laptop is messed and the USB and the dvd don't work so I can't reinstall linux. HO HUM let me try the desktoplinux
reboot time AGAIN lool!
what a joke lol

Hmm... You could try this:   (On Windows)

Make Motocoin NOT start on system login. (It's in the settings of the wallet, just uncheck the box)

Then restart your computer. (Don't start the wallet after you login)
Then click start and type in the text box at the bottom of the start menu "%appdata%" without the quotation marks (" ").
Click on the motocoin folder. Replace the wallet.dat file in there with your backed up one.
Now you can start the wallet.

The good news is that you wallet.dat has at least 31k in it. The bad news is that you may not have your 100k in it.

2020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOTO] Motocoin on: October 19, 2014, 10:24:33 AM
so it must be wallet.dat?
ill delete and restart wallet
but theres over 100 000 in lol
but its a new version of qt...
le sigh!

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BACKED UP THE WALLET.DAT!!!!

And don't delete all of the files. Just check wallet address, then move the wallet.dat. Restart wallet. Check that address is different. Then shut down wallet and then delete newly generated wallet.dat. And replace it with old one. Start wallet again. Check that address is the same as the first time. If it is, then whatever balance is displayed is what you have in there. (If wallet is synced)

What is your wallet.dat's address?
