block confirmation time has been extended it is much tougher to collect even with large hash rate
want to draw parallels with cryptogenic bullion, litebar is "softer" but it will get "tougher" if I would place it on the market cap altitude it will get there very fast, many coins have been released, differential is this subtle mining difficulty to reward, litebar also adds the limit like the CGB does (close parallel) 5.06 % Today, non stop and very few people are selling. in my opinion you would have to be very dumb to sell right now.
Developer of this coin should also be prepared to perform hard fork for Scrypt-N possibly not sure when I am sure he is studying the situation.

congrats also observing this on cryptsy
you have to be kidding me this:
(someone wants to purchase 30,000 circa litebars for 0.0006 BTC one can only laugh but hey)
0.00000002 30616.45885287 0.00061233
against this:
(someone wants to sell 51 litebars for 12 BTC proper.. but he still should not sell in my modest opinion unless desperate for cash)
0.25000000 51.00000000 12.75000000
we are now at:
5.02 % of total , network hash at circa 1/2 GHS

Depletion continues: coins mined so far: 4.87 % (believe said something like 2 months for 10%) market cap has gained too (but I completely ignore this indicator)

Me too, but how many coins will they add with votes exactly ? Only the 1st coin ?
no idea actually, but I am mining top 3 from that list in rotation and rather aggressively

what about old coins if dokdocoin is to switch to a new algo? will there be a checkpoints in dokdocoind? i don't know how do you switch to a new algo without full update of each and every client out there to a new one with special checkpointing that switches algos after block #N. that's probably too much of pain
usually wallets need to be updated, and pools of course need to switch as well, many coins have done it successfully without interruption in block chain, need to study their success and do it carefully ASIC scrypt users can not be given too much time or they will literarily swallow large % of the coin supply and therefore its intrinsic value therefore I take it back, you want to go before they come online, also several options exists, some like ie X11 but with X11 you lock out large base of users using Nvidia cards (this is being worked on) another options is Scrypt-N this causes reduction in the hash rate per second (everyone will be affected) There is still much time, I think people that will get ASIC scrypt hardware will go after coins with old algos and fast and try to sell coins really fast in large batches on exchanges. This is NOT good for "country" coins especially.. so something to think about.

Nekomata // Hello! high performance scrypt ASICs will come soon. maybe we need more time to hardfork to new algo. so that we wil give short chance for ASIC miners. I have interest in groestl but still researching. Thanks for your inform! "so that we wil give short chance for ASIC miners." makes sense, engaged mining against this coin, I believe it has more than a shot

Please spread your hash around use different pools where possible
Est. Avg. Time per Round (Pool) 1 minute 7 seconds = besieged
Est. Avg. Time per Round (Pool) 1 hour 22 minutes 14 seconds = problem not to mention possibility of 51% attack

I'm voting every 30 minutes funny, it will be even more funny when coins ends up on all major exchanges and there will be willing buyers but no willing sellers

We anticipate launch approx next week, so voting won't last long. Great news guys!!! We are going to get in for sure!!! Hi guys, It seems as if Sakuracoin is catching up to LTB here: https://www.icurrex.com/coin_pollLet's keep pushing. We are almost there Regards done

Fact of the day: coins mined so far: 4.45 % (new page too)
@q327K091, nice fact When do you guys think we will hit the 10% ? hard to say, depends on network hash rate, certainly some time to go, as long as I have enough time to accumulate kidding kidding, I in fact would prefer if coins have wider distribution for value actually... individuals would treasure it and rarely sale if sale for a steep price. (cryptsy would be one of the ways to do it) overall strategy for this coin is quite good, it is a longer term proposition. Let me issue my guess since you asked: I saaaay.. 2,3 months ? I could be gravely wrong so no bets and I love low profile of this community/board, i am one of more vocal here, also development of this coin, it is excellent we have Kimoto, for diff algo like scrypt-N no rush maybe later (ASCI for scrypt have long way to go), in fact it would disturb the strategy, I would also completely ignore current market cap situation and if we end up on exchanges let people unload their litebars for as low price as possible so wider network of people gets % of the max and treasure it like very few coins they have. have a great Sunday! @Br0ken, any small updates/work in progress that you want to share?

Everyone be wary of rockypools.net I mined there for about a day with about 1 mhz and did not pay close attention to what my mining rewards should have been, after looking deeper into it today it is off by a significant margin. I'm submitting all valid shares, no hardware errors. I've been mining a short period of time on both the westlist and webcoin.us pools and they are both providing fair returns for ltb.
Whoever takes charge of this thread should change the "Official Pool" from the one that steals peoples coins to one of those other two, or anything else really how about fucking clown shoes. It really hurts the credibility of a coin when the first pool people are likely to check out steals their coins.
are you looking at LTB/Day number ? (in the pool section) , that is very misleading, also there are orphan blocks also pool hash rate (and its fluctuation) your own hash rate , many factors in time there will be more pools (there should be more) fact of the day: 4.16% of total coins were mined so far , we are second to get to major exchange, many good things are happening however @br0ken , my bounty on compiling Mac OSX wallet is not happening... and I put time and effort for it to happen.. still have hopes! What's your address? I'll send some LTB your way for your trouble @Scooby903 I adhere to high moral values, and scooby please keep your coins I could not accept them from your hard earned (via hardware and electricity) coins , no way.. there was a bounty and I solved it, I believe br0ken is very busy might not even visit us here, in addition I believe he is a surfer (so might be deep in the ocean).. but scooby this is highly appreciated from you, and please keep the coins as they will be worth lots of money one day Hi q327K091 Apologies for delayed reply. The Mac OSX wallet was already made for us on March 30th 2014 by chainexplorer.info (Alwin here, had that set up for us). See the original post here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=461108.msg5986107#msg5986107 I should have removed the bounty post (which is my bad). I will still send something your way. Kindly provide me with your LTB address. @everyone else: Our plans to work on LTB this past weekend didn't happen (as originally intended) as we spent Easter weekend away. We will however, jump in on things this week and post update as we progress. We thank you for your continued support. We appreciate it! @q327K091 i can assure you that I am not a surfer LOL Regards @br0ken appreciate it,my LTB address is LRae6KfzE27QnTKLj15VmFVfrbn29vRewb (maybe there is something in the message I send you that is useful, so this doesn't look like a donation...) I missed that post... on the wallet, your bio said something about surfing A Belated Happy Holidays to you! and appreciate work on this great coin, that max coin limit is absolutely brilliant and it is going to pay off.

ok another excellent day, coin depletion now stands at 4.07% of total, network hash rate is holding steady, we have a rate of -0.02% per day
beautiful thing
|
|
|
Didnt notice we were so close to the top on cryptsy vote, i just used my cryptsy points for 35 votes
thanks for the reminder doing it now

You guys are awesome! I'm glad to be part of this coin/community a very low key community but a nice community people are focused on building up value aka back to basics have a wonderful day! btw. coins mined so far 4.05% (from 3.99% yesterday) supply is getting less (fast rate, there are some "whale" rigs operating on it but eventually exchange will spread coins across wider net (question is however will folks be willing to sell, if supply wll be so small coin will end up in the "luxury" holding category (store of value), it is all going excellent
|
|
|
why do idiots dump such a rare coin........
Because they are idiots good question, interesting fact Today 3.99% of total coins have been mined so far at the block 34,989 of 876000
I would ignore exchange value and sit tight
+1000 Nothing to worry about guys. The overall market is looking pretty shaky right about now and probably won't see many gains until Monday at least. Once BTC starts to recover, the alts will follow...they always do! Sit tight and enjoy the ride agree +1000 back at you, we shall remember these days as "depression" era of crypto currencies
