2021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOTO] Motocoin on: October 19, 2014, 09:30:54 AM
how do I "add the wallet.dat"?
ther isn't a menu item that says: add wallet
its added in the dir but its not loading, lol wtf.

What do you mean it's not loading?
Did you delete the other wallet.dat before you copied it over? (It may be called wallet(2).dat)
How do you know it hasn't loaded? Check the address of the wallet.dat in the dir. Then stop the wallet, and delete it (make sure you have an original copy of your wallet somewhere). the paste it in again and start the wallet back up. If your address is the same and your wallet has been synced then I'm sorry, there is nothing wrong. Whatever balance is shown is the balance you have in your wallet.dat
2022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOTO] Motocoin on: October 19, 2014, 03:03:53 AM
why can't bots be determined?
can't player movements on the blockchain be recorded so the predictability can be mapped?

a question
can you please add a function in motocoin-qt that allows me to import a wallet.dat file
coz i put my .dat wallet in all the motocoin dirs in windows and its not showing, though the wallet is syncing, thank goodness, OLOL
does the wallet need a specific name?
shouldn't there be a load wallet menu item in the menu? so u can load .dat files manually inside the wallet itself?
please add this functionality, its very necesarily I believe..

Wait for the wallet to be fully synced and then add the wallet.dat. Maybe your transactions haven't been loaded (synced) yet.

As for the bot question, I'm sure that would slow down syncing considerable because then everyone would need to essentially generate hundreds of plays for the map and if one of them matches the replay, don't accept it. But that would only work if you have the same algorithm for playing the map as the bot owner is using to get blocks. Its pretty much impossible. Smiley
2023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project Pump legendary pumps! on: October 18, 2014, 08:39:44 PM
You guys NEED to pump Fibre. They have so many features implemented but the price is so damn low!

Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=737771.0   - Just take a look

Exchanges:

https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-FIBRE

https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/301

Fibre is one of the best cryptocoins with so many features and they are still coming!
Please pump this undervalued coin.
2024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [FIBRE] | BLOCKNET | 625k | FibreDark | FibreLock | FibreMixer | FibreGateway | on: October 18, 2014, 08:27:23 PM
"Press release on Monday detailing the rules of the Blocknet ITO. It'll spell out how extraordinary the Blocknet is and why it's extremely worthwhile to buy shares."
Can you buy shares with fibre?

Yes, you will be able to buy BlockNet shares with Fibre at 10% discount
Do you think everyone should buy them? Should I buy with all my Fibre or 50%?

After buying BlockNet shares you will be gaining profits from all services which are running there + extra profit from coins which bring more valuable features

You are getting profit for holding BlockNet shares + extra profit for helping running Fibre services with your wallet

Profit pattern is getting longer and longer...

You will be witnessing the evolution of something that will change digital currencies forever

Treat yourselves already as Fibre Company shareholders

I am personally going in with BTC as Fibre is so undervalued right now and has much more place for growth and you will need some Fibre to help running Fibre services on BlockNet
What do you mean by "getting profit"?
Is it like stake? Or is it just the price?

I hated it a little when I lost 0.03 but not really anymore.

The only strategy I can actually see possibly beating the system is to bet a small amount and then wait for the multiplier to go up to a number where you win back your previous losses. Such a strategy could have worked in the above list when the multiplier went to 400. It could have refunded the last 400 games if you lost.

2028  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] When leaving negative feedback, remember to make it negative! on: October 18, 2014, 10:12:37 AM
Someone sent me nagative feedback but accidentially made it positive.
Fortunately I cleared up the incident (look at page after reference) but the person never replied to my PMs to take the rating down.

>> Important Info <<

If anyone has any Fibre or any other coin in Mintpal / Moolah or whatever they are called.. WITHDRAW them immediately!!
Moolah are closing their doors...

http://blog.moolah.io/

Thanks for the update!

Yep, I lost a few coin there after the migration. GOX # 2 hit me!

I did learn the last time to distribute my coins and can honestly say I have FIBRE in several places and
not being on that trading platform with FIBRE early was "a good thing!"

I had 100 fibre in there. Luckily I withdrew it into bittrex. Mintpal had such low volume.

Acutually, I installed niresh on my laptop. So now I have a hackintosh. When my desktop computer comes back from being repaired, I'll install it on there.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>UPDATE<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Hi All,

We have decided to hold back the Revision 4 Roadmap, as we do not want anyone to steal our ideas. We will release the Revision 4 Road Map when Revision 3 has a certain release date.

In the mean time we are releasing our Core Development Road Map, which will be delivered alongside the Revision 3. The main focus of the core development is to increase adoption and our exposure.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>UPDATE<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Hi Guys,

Please see the below Road Map that outline the next stage of development. Revision 2 brought a fully anonymous solution to Fibre, Revision 3 is all about accessibility and Revision 4 will be targeting adoption.

The Core Development Road Map will be delivered alongside the Revision 3 Road Map !

We told you we are speeding up Cheesy

Nothing can stop Fibre Smiley

Thank You all for support
If everything stated here actually is accomplished, this coin will be the next Litecoin. Probably the next Bitcoin as well.

I think there is a grammar error in the "Fibre Nodes" section.

"Fibre holders will be able to run fibre nodes will earn them additional revenue from their investment."

although that's a very poignant fact I don't care to deny, my concern is really with trying to help stabilize the blockchain.
if anyone has some bots they like to share I'd be willing to give them half of all coins mined

That's everyone's concern Wink

If the bot creator is here, he's not interested in sharing the bot...
He could make it give him half of the blocks you mine. That would be good. Then the price would increase.
The price would increase because everyone would have a chance at getting coins.

my dad is a computer science lecturer but to be honest it doesn't run in the family

if (you don't like programming yourself)
then (stuff it)
else (don't mind programmers and programming at all in fact)
It think you meant:

int you_don't _like_programming_yourself = <insert 1 or 0 for true / false respectively>;

if you_don't_like_programming_yourself = 0;
{
stuff it;
}

else
{
don't mind programmers and programming at all in fact;
}
exit      ?

Not sure if that is right.

But in batch it would be...

Code:
@echo off
set /p you_dont_like_programming_yourself=Do you like programming yourself?

if %you_dont_like_programming_yourself% == "Yes" goto true
if %you_dont_like_programming_yourself% == "yes" goto true
if %you_dont_like_programming_yourself% == "Y" goto true
if %you_dont_like_programming_yourself% == "y" goto true

cls
echo stuff it
pause
exit

:true

cls
echo don't mind programmers and programming at all in fact
pause
exit
Put that in a .txt file and save it as "program.bat" then run it.

Apparently using goto is bad but how else would I do it? (question for a programmer to answer)

P.S. I don't know why I just wrote that. Smiley
