A comfortable match awaits Real Madrid next week. It is against Elche in Santiago Bernabeu. Elche are like the most miserable team in the league now. They have newly got their first win by beating Villarreal. This was quite unexpected though but I don't expect this win to change anything for them soon. At least in the Real Madrid match, they would be desperate. Real Madrid have had difficult days recently. We have seen them losing points in very unexpected matches.
The loss versus Mallorca was a good example for this. Benzema was injured though but they were still a strong team. I expect the players to make up for this by beating Elche.
I could no longer trust Real Madrid to win vs weaker teams. Their miserable results lately are quite shocking. They ruined their chances and I cannot even imagine them losing vs Elche, that will be a joke for real. Real Madrid should win vs Elche and pray for Barcelona to lose vs Villarreal even though the odds are quite desperate for Villarreal. |

It wasn't a good day for Lazio. They couldn't have the control in the game. Maybe they had the most ball possession but this didn't change anything. Especially the second half was really bad for Lazio. They didn't have many goal attempts while Verona found so many. This resulted in an equalizer for Verona.
Actually Lazio had a lot of time to get ahead again but they were really bad at attacking today. Verona weren't doing good in the games before actually but they still managed to steal one point here.
Verona are having one of their worst season. They used to be in middle table when they joined Serie A few years ago but now they risk to pass to Serie B. Verona used to be a headache for top teams and they forced today Lazio to share points.. Lazio could be third after this game if they won.. 15 matches left in Serie A and for sure many things could change. Napoli is 13 points ahead of everyone so basically they have to win in another 11 to get the title, eventually this number could reduce if the other teams drop some points as usual. |

Psg team will have a tough game next round against monaco, it will be an away game against a team in a good shape, it will be difficult since psg team performance doesn't seem convincing recently, monaco team is currently fourth and only two points separate them from marseille so they will surely want to win against psg and climb the ranks so i wouldnt be surprised if they manage to beat them.
In fact PSG will have 2 hard games before Champions League match against Bayern. The first game is vs Marseille in 2 days in round of 16 in French Cup which will be crucial for both teams to pass. They don't have choice here. The second game is vs Monaco 3 days after Marseille one and this time in Ligue 1 which will make it important too.  I take it this is ironic? The fact that European football is riddled with corruption, financial fraud and, in general, is the most crappy business has long been clear. I don't know what is the reason for the surge of these new accusations, but I think that, as before, everything will end in a farce and the City will not be punished. I think it is more a warning than a threat. Such move will have a serious impact on EPL and sponsors will be angry about that. City is a key club in EPL and Emirates will not be happy about losing its investment. The whole country might be under threat of sanctions from the Gulf countries in my opinion so politicians will try to be cool and make things goes smoothly in these bad economy days. |

Bayern Munich were finally like their usual version that we were used to watch. Even getting a red card wasn't enough to stop them. Kimmich's red card was a really unnecessary one by the way. If Bayern Munich weren't in good condition before the red card this could have cost them really high. They got the momentum on their side and benefited from it nicely. Coman was amazing today by the way. His first goal was really a product of a great thing which was a mix of a shot and cross at the same time. The second one was also a very effective finesse shot.
I must add Musiala's relieving goal as well to this as well of course. He created the goal chance by himself completely. This result should improve their morale a lot.
Indeed such result will give the team a boost and confidence before facing PSG in Champions League after 8 days. Bayern players might also be frustrated by losing the first spot that's why they were hungry for scoring. That was a punishment for Wolfsburg although scoring 2 goals since Bayern lost some firepower while playing with 10 players, otherwise the score might be bigger than that. |

Yes, even though Atletico's draw is still safe in 4th place they are still 4 points ahead on Villareal which is the main competitor
But indeed this is disappointing, Atletico should be able to take advantage of the moment of playing at home with 3 points

PSG - Toulouse was a really scary game actually. Because this was another game PSG struggled to get a win comfortably.
Messi was the only member of the attacking trio on the field today. But he still took responsibility and scored a goal. Neymar and Mbappe's absence was still felt during the game. They could have done much better than this. The first half was more like one-sided but Toulouse also started to be effective in the second half. Thankfully Hakimi was there to be the hero for his team. With his one goal and assist each performance, PSG took the win there. However they are still in trouble seemingly considering especially the Champions League.
The Champions League match will be hard for both Bayern and PSG. The one that will pass will do it in the second leg imo. PSG victory vs Toulouse was important especially that they were one goal behind. Keeping a good distance from the others, mainly Marseille, is important so they can be more comfortable in UCL games at the opposite of Bayern which is struggling to keep the first rank |

Union Berlin topping the German bundles liga it's a good and interesting one, I will personally love to see the Bayern Munich dominance in the bundles liga come to an end, it's been ten straight seasons Bayern Munich have won the league straight and it's making the league look like it it's not competitive, its not good for German football as we know them to be one country with great football stars and history.
Dortmund won there match too, but Bayern play tomorrow and the outcome of that match will determine if Union Berlin stay too or not.
Union used to be in the first spot for many rounds this season and at some point they seemed to be solid and hardly lose points then they dropped and now claimed back the first spot but of course temporarily until Bayern match vs Wolfsburg. Dortmund indeed won but their victory has another taste since their opponent was Freiburg and the result was 5-1. Dortmund are now third with the same number of points as Bayern although their bad results.. |

I understand that there is a good chance Juventus did something wrong, and I understand a punishment is what would be right for them, but at the same time I am basically talking about a situation where they could be nearly relegated if given 35 points total punishment, that's just way too much plus they would be in a big big financial trouble as well.
That is why I am not entirely sure if it's just, they could have not done these and still be better than relegation zone, so the punishment doesn't bring them where they suppose to be, it brings them even lower. I am sensing something terrible going on here, it's definitely going to be something quite difficult to handle for them.
I still consider the actual punishment as abusive, can't imagine them adding more sanctions and literally pushing the whole team to the edge to relegate! The year that Juve relegated come with much tires and emotions. I assume no one wants to see that happening again..
Roma won without surprise vs Empoli today while Atalanta lost by 1 goal vs Sassuolo. The worst part is getting 2 players red carded in this match and letting Roma jump in front of them. Tomorrow we have Milan's derby where Inter is the favourite part but who knows |

~ There will be many people who lose money in this case, one of them is me  My multi for the last game which I believe will benefit should be gone with the unexpected win against Everton. Dyche really made a difference with the scheme that Everton did in this match. To be honest Arsenal are still playing very well but the closeness of the Everton line and a surprising goal from James Tarkowski made the difference in this game. Unexpected result for Arsenal and many lost their bets for sure because of that. Gunners failed to score in front of Everton's defence although the opportunities and the control of the ball. And if Ac Milan loss this derby game, it'll be another loss which takes the loss to five straight loss and double draws so far. Also they'll have to prepare very well because Inter Milan are not even ready to loss any point at home.
They both remain thirteen league points below Napoli and Fifteen league goals for Ac Milan who seem likely to drop points in few days ahead.
It's thr biggest derby game in Italy, I'll do my possible best to view the game. Napoli also plays away from home, I'm also looking forward to see Napoli winning tommorow.
Best scenario of one is a bad one for another and a draw between Milan and Inter will be good especially for Napoli but also for Lazio, Atalanta and Roma Indeed Inter is favourite in this game and their victory might become the only hope for some competitiveness in Serie A otherwise Napoli will continue running away alone. |
