2021  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: July 02, 2015, 08:48:53 PM
i dont think so this is iOS/App Store not A buggy android app from google play....

ps : this is btckan official app, they are pretty popular in China  Wink

So your saying any app on the apple store cannot be a virus?  Please remove your post and don't mislead people.

I also reread your first post, the app wants your username and password!  That is a huge red flag because now they have all your information (including access to 2FA).  Regardless of who this is and how popular they are, if they decide to be malicious or get hacked, all of a sudden all your information is compromised.

Def do not download this app.
2022  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: July 02, 2015, 08:20:30 PM
knows anybody a app to view the antpool over the antpool API on a iPhone?
all the pooldata in one or two overviews and use the API key and not the password?

Best Regards
Willi

Hi mate, i have the same problem and after a lot of search i found only btckan ios app
first you have to register in btckan.com and set notification alert after that download the IOS app from the app store and sign in with your user/pass if your hashrate is lower than your target you will receive notification from the app on the lock screen.

https://itunes.apple.com/app/bi-kan-bi-te-bi/id769430079?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4

i think in the pro version you can even trade btc but Chinese is not my power......
the app only shows the hashrate and its on Chinese  Undecided

No other options......

There is no official AntPool app that Bitmain has created.  Any 3rd party app can contain viruses or other malicious code that can damage or steal passwords and/or other account information.  It is highly recommended to not download anything unless you trust the issuer of the app.
2023  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [CLOSING] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees+NMC, Stratum, VarDiff, Private Servers on: July 02, 2015, 07:47:31 PM
Just wanted to take a minute to thank eleuthria for his dedication and work on one of the most stable and robust pools that have ever graced bitcoin.  BtcGuild has been a pillar in the bitcoin world and it will be sad to see it go.

Thanks for all the hard work!

I am interested to see what the O.P. has found.  If it's not an error with the site or a hack I am interested.  Keep us updated OP when your ready to release what you found.

Just starting using your book since you had some MLB bets that I really like that other sites don't have and wanted to comment to say that so far I am very happy with your book.  Website is simple and fast and I can get all my pertinent information very easily.  Also glad to hear that expansion is in the works.

Thanks for offering a good sports book to play at.
2027  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Urgent: BTC 0.05 willing to pay Paypal (you demand $$) on: July 02, 2015, 02:22:03 PM
He is wanting to send paypal for bitcoin and giving a reason that doesn't make any sense.  Avoid doing business with as this is an obvious scam!
2028  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin... What's the point of it? Are you all deluded?!! on: July 01, 2015, 05:13:17 PM
I read your first 2 paragraphs and couldn't get any further.  I must say that you are one of the most ill informed people I have ever encountered.  Please do some research on bitcoin and fiat currency and how it works before spouting nonsense left and right.

Seriously sir, you are just embarrassing yourself at this point.

Here are a few points...
No bitcoin is not backed by anything, but neither is the U.S. dollar.
It cannot be changed on a whim, you need the consensus of everyone using it to do that.  i.e. no one person can blindly change whatever they want (it is even being proven that the main developer can't do that).
You can't trust humans to make this work but you can trust them with fiat currency to make that work?  Your argument here is nonsense.
The U.S. dollar is not backed by taxes, labour (did you mean labor?).  I honestly don't even know how to respond to this point because your notion doesn't make any sense and is absurd to begin with.

Those are just points about your first paragraph, I don't care to read the rest since it is nonsense.  Please educate yourself a little more before spouting crap.

2030  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 80 s5 sell 280 usd for unit on: July 01, 2015, 03:49:18 PM
now i have only 10 sp 20 and SP 30 and  power supplies 1500 at 40 usd    the  s5 sold

Your post makes it very hard to tell what you are selling for how much.  Are each of those things being sold for 40 USD?  If so, I will take all of it, you send first or we use escrow.

Shop S5 @0.00136899. Getting tempting if the S7 wasn't right around the corner.

It worries me that they are dropping the price of the S5 so fast all of a sudden.  Makes me think the S7 is closer than we may be realizing.  Its just very weird since the maintenance/payout ratio keeps going down, which should push the price of the S5 up.
2036  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: June 29, 2015, 09:45:49 PM
Is anyone having problems with bitcoin swaps at all?  I have had bitcoin offered to be swapped for over a week now and it hasn't been taken.  Is anyone else having delays like this?

Im not sure if youre new to bitfinex maybe, so did you check that your offer is anywhere near the chance to be taken yet? Not that you are a couple hundred btc back in the swaplist.

I have used it for awhile and have never had to wait this long.  Usually when I would throw a FRR swap offer up for bitcoin it would be taken in a couple of hours max at 30 days, now it has been over a week.  Was just curious if anyone else is seeing waiting times like this?

Forgive me for being ignorant, but I have been holding MMXIV for months now and periodically checking in, and want to make sure I have what is about to happen correct.

I own MMXIV, the way I understand it is that this coin will soon be gone and replaced with GorrilaBucks?  So should I go and download the GorrilaBucks wallet now?  And then I just send you my public and private key and you send me some portion of GorrilaBucks?  If I have 5000 GorrilaBucks I can create a masternode from the GorrilaBucks wallet called GorrilaBands?  What does this masternode actually do?

I hope I have that correct

The new wallet will be posted Sunday. The post above explains GorillaBands and the media tab at the top explains the swap

Ok, so nothing to do until Sunday.
2039  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: June 26, 2015, 09:33:36 PM
Is anything BUT PACMiC v2 worth buying on Hashnest at this time?

Do some math and draw your own conclusions.  No one here (or anywhere for that matter) will be able to give you any better estimate than your own.
My conclusion is no, not worth it. But, wanted others experiences / opinions of the services offered.

Listen to what your own brain tells you.  There are plenty of people on here who would rather manipulate your thinking for their own personal gain and will get you to buy into something they are trying to pump.  No one really has any idea about anything that will happen in mining, and tomorrow not only can, but will lead to entirely different set of circumstances than were in place today.  So if you don't think anything else is worth it, trust yourself and go in that direction.  If you want to ask less broad questions I can help.  But your statement where it site is very broad.
