2021  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Share Tips For Newbie Traders on: February 25, 2023, 06:43:25 AM
And many newbies may at some point think that they are probably wasting too much of their time. If you are in this situation right now, I want you to know that you are not wasting your time.

If you are an experienced trader reading this, how did you know that you were not wasting your time trading at the time when you felt this way?
Trading is determination, as a beginner you may not be having exactly what you want from trading but what keeps one on is determination and learning, with this in trading one will hardly give up. Putting more effort to know better pays alot , no wastes his/her time in doing these because at the end of everything it will definitely yield better profit.  If one is doing right thing that needs to be done in trading as a beginner,  their is no doubt about it that it will later turn out good.

That is why, in the first few months, a newbie that is learning to trade will be facing hard times. I just remember before that I tend to quit, then after a month I get back again because I lose hope due to my losses and am not patient enough, but as time goes by, your mistakes and the experience you'll gain are the best teachers, so keep pushing hard and don't lose hope. Rest if you are tired, as for sure you'll be fruitful once you've got that strategy that you are looking for.

Coupons and promo codes

Image link:  https://i.ibb.co/NpcLm8f/promo-code.jpg

There are many websites on the internet offering promo codes and coupons for items in stores.

I've noticed most of this coupons are only in US or UK as they putting coupons in news papers, magazines,in products as well as in social media but the problem is that they dont usually use it only those in need but here in our country we rarely have one of it since people going to abuse it mostly those no minimum to spend as other people are so greedy on saving money. I remember before that there are coupons given only to new user but still getting abuse by those not a new user by making a lot of accounts and changing identity. Yes we can save from it but it is rarely happening in our country

2023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good to accept crypto as a payment? on: February 25, 2023, 03:32:58 AM
I have seen a report today that in 2022 crypto payments showed an amazing rise. People are really accepting it and giving the value as they are giving to fiat payments.

Are you guys accepting crypto payments for your business?

Since the pandemic a lot of people are getting into crypto mostly in bitcoin as they saw the rise of it which most people want to own one as it is very volatile and can make them rich also on business they start accepting bitcoin because a lot of people talking of it and it is good for marketing which it attract customers, other also accepting bitcoin as they want to spread awareness to others which is good for the adoption of bitcoin
2024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I gave investment advice to my grandfather. on: February 25, 2023, 02:03:29 AM
That word "You will sit in the street if your investment is a loss" will really woke him up. We are almost the same approach if i am giving someone advice at first I'll discuss the information and how to earn profit then I'll slap them with hard truth about lossing it so that only those who are really eager to learn and try to prevent the losses will invest in because most of us are just telling the good stuff not the bad stuff
2025  Economy / Economics / Re: To cut financial ties with original family benefits you in the long run on: February 24, 2023, 05:00:59 PM
Asking for help from parents when the need arises is normal. But staying financially dependent on them even in adulthood is simply irresponsible. The parents could also take part of the blame. Some parents cannot take it that their adult children are having a hard time. They willingly continue to support them. As a result, their children's behavior is reinforced. Parents instantly coming to their children's aid all the time may sound good, but it could also be dangerous as their children might not grow independent. They might not be able to try find ways to survive.

I definitely agree with this.

Sometimes their daughters and sons are the problem, sometimes it is the parents. It is either the kid was spoiled so he grew up as a spoiled brat doing whatever he wants because he knew his parents would always back him up or the parents made a lot of children to make it as their investment plan, like they are all obligated to give their salaries to their parents after they graduated in college and got a job. This kind of cycle never ends, it needs to be stop by those kind of families and kids.

There are really parents that are demanding their children to support them when they graduate, which is really bad, but as a child of your parents, you should support them with or without demands from them, as they have taken good care of you ever since you were still in the tummy of your mom and also made a ton of sacrifices for you, so you should support them mostly because they were old at that time and couldn't take care of them. But again, this is not forcing you to support them as there are still children that will have their own families, but at least remember to support them emotionally if you can't support them financially.

Quote
so even if a casino could spend a lot of money on getting a better domain name at the same time the owners behind that casino may prefer to spend that money in other aspects that their potential gamblers may appreciate more, things like more games or a faster host.
actually domain is just a point but the reality of service and operation will always bring them in .

It is also a big factor for marketing purposes since this can be remembered by people easily, like it will get into their sub-consciousness, which they will then play on the platform if they hear the word gamble. Though it is not the most important as the function and the support are really all that are needed, it is just a plus for marketing as we need to market it so that others know about that kind of gambling. No matter what, there are still plenty of unique names for casinos; it is just up to your creativity on how you can come up with them.
2027  Economy / Economics / Re: Cheap food: can you beat this price in your country? on: February 24, 2023, 01:46:20 PM
Just found a restaurant where the individual meal costs only 0,57$! Meal composed by rice, toasted cassava flour and black bean stew with few pieces of pork meats. Feeds one person decently and the taste is good. You can eat the whole month for less than 35$, considering lunch and dinner daily! That is perfect for cutting expenses with food!

Do you know any restaurants which serve cheaper meals than that where you live? It must be a meal, not snacks.

You did not mention your country so we can compare the standard of living in that country, but that $0.57 is so cheap its almost a complete meal and it looks healthy too, here in our country the cheapest meal in an average food stall that one can afford is $1 to $2 considering that the daily wage here is $11 so its much better to cook your own food I can budget $1 for myself only for rice and scramble egg I have done this when I was out of job.
I wish we have a complete meal like that at the price you posted.

I don't know where you live, but the daily wage is too low and the food is very expensive. I am in a third-world country, and our average daily salary is also $9–$11, but we can buy meals for $1, which include rice and pork or beef. There is also unlimited rice with chicken for $1. Food stalls here in the side streets are cheap since most of their food is for those students and employees that are out of budget, though sometimes it is not that healthy, but still you won't be hungry.
2028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: it will definetly save you on: February 24, 2023, 12:24:17 PM
It is a very long list, and I just skimmed it, but I would say that the key is just having control over ourselves. If we can just control our emotions, habits, and things that we've done, then it could save us from addiction and losses. Though having to control ourselves is very difficult, we still need to do it for our own good.

Also, I am hoping that you wrote it from your own experience or from what you've read, as for sure a lot of people will check it if it is plagiarized, which is not good, and if you want to get merit, post your real experience or opinion, don't copy and paste it anywhere on the internet.
2029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can Bitcoin afford to buy on: February 24, 2023, 09:56:00 AM
You can buy foods, items, and expensive products online as there are websites accepting bitcoin as their payment method. I'm not sure where you live, but if it isn't banned in your country for sure, there are shops there that accept bitcoin as payment. You just need to find them, but mostly you can find products online, which is like when you are buying using your fiat. As time goes by, I've seen a lot of services that also accept bitcoin, like taxis, salons, etc., so for sure, in the future, you can see it anywhere you go.
2030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another story telling how billionaires hate bitcoin? - read over quick coffee. on: February 24, 2023, 07:43:52 AM
He is a good investor, a book writer, and has a consulting business that is making tons of profits per year, which I would say is his opinion, but I don't agree with it. I really like his books, as they are for self-improvement as well as for business, but when it comes to technological aspects, he isn't that familiar with them. He may not fully understand the technology behind the crypto, which is why he is telling those. It is still in us if we do follow his suggestion (which I made big wrong predictions before inflation and depression). But thinking on the positive side, he is just telling us to diversify our investment, not only put it in crypto.
2031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are there sometimes big difference between spot trading and futures? on: February 24, 2023, 05:41:41 AM
Because futures trading is a scam. You're doing virtual trading where your gain or loss depends on the index, not the real price of a coin and you don't own the coin at any moment.
No matter how long your explanation is, know that future trading is not a scam. Anyone that is scammed do not know someone has intention to scam him or her, the person do not know what is going on underneath. In future trading, everything is well explained and you know what you are going and how risky it is.

The positive aspect of futures trading is that even if you don't have that much money to trade, you can still trade and have a chance to earn a profit. I think he is really a lover of spot trading, which I respect. We do have our own point of view on things, so if he thinks spot trading is a scam, let him be, and we just continue in our trading. I would say that it is some sort of old-fashioned way of doing spot trading, and the future is a new trend, but I do them both, and I don't have anything against them as long as we earn profit from them.
2032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how do I keep my private key safe? on: February 24, 2023, 04:38:21 AM
I remember before that it was okay to store your private key online since hacking was not that rampant, but now it is evolving. Anything where you store your private key online is not safe; it would be better to store it offline, where you can physically touch it. I've read somewhere here in the forum that he wrote it on a steel plate and stored it in a vault, and the other one is that he put it somewhere that can't be easily seen because sometimes if you put it on paper, it gets erased.
2033  Economy / Economics / Re: does bitcoin help in your economy? on: February 24, 2023, 03:39:00 AM
there are many people investing in bitcoin, some are profitable and some are losing. and I believe bitcoin has a big advantage. The question is whether when you benefit from bitcoin, you can help your economy and your family?

If you have enough knowledge, and you know how to trade to make profit, then yes. It does help. You don't even have to go out to do it. Work from home you know! But to be good on this platform and if you want to depend only on this, then you will have to put a lot of effort in it and be a pro. But this being having a high risk, it is advised to proceed with caution. You may end up losing, because even the pro traders lose too.
So when you are making profits, yes you can help your economy and family.

As long as you earn profit or receive bitcoin from microtasks, it can help you and the economy. It is not just circling in trading because as long as you earn extra money because of bitcoin, you will buy it to meet your needs, which includes tax, and that tax can help out the economy. It has a really ripple effect on this. Also, having a business can help you generate more employment as well as services or foods for others that still contribute to the economy.
2034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is your reason for gifting bitcoin on: February 24, 2023, 02:14:05 AM
Whether they have financial difficulty or not, you can still gift bitcoin to anyone, but you don't expect from them that they can make a profit from it easily, as others are still learning bitcoin and how they can make more from it, and others also just hold it for a long period of time. It is just that if you gift it to a jobless person, the possibility of him using it is high as he needs money to spend for his needs, unless he is very wise and will invest or like trade it to make it more
2035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good to accept crypto as a payment? on: February 22, 2023, 05:10:43 PM
I don't have any business, but for sure I will accept this and be putting signage at the entrance saying we accept bitcoin, as this can also attract new customers and make them curious about using bitcoin, which will lead to others adopting it. As you can see right now, mostly in those countries where bitcoin is not banned, they are adding this as another payment method as they can see the market for those who own bitcoin. I've also seen a documentary about the most expensive jewellery companies that accept bitcoin as their payment method because it was requested by their millionaire customers because of crypto.
2036  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: February 22, 2023, 02:14:49 PM
Whenever I remember about OP experience with the casino he used in gambling that amount, i will always say that they were being very lucky as well to have someone playing stake to that extent, the casino will always make out their own incentive base on the amount used in gambling either the gambler is winning or not, another thing is that any amount you would like to gamble with, the casinos were always ok with it.
Casinos know how they make there money that is why they are not always bothered about the limit is tempo you are using to make bet. They make money whether you are making winnings or losing. We might not understand or know much about how this is done but all I know is that casinos can not run into loses like that. That is there business and they know how to make revenue from us whether the keep giving or bonus or not, they are always the house edge and there is nothing we can do about that. We ought to gamble and make money but along the line we might end up to be the victim losing huge amount of money.

They will get some commission or fee when you withdraw your winnings, which sometimes we don't notice but is already deducted once we hit the withdraw button. So every move they make has a fee, or we just didn't notice that it was already deducted from our money. This is their way to earn profit, as we are not giving them money as a fee on a monthly basis. It is a business that needs profit, so we don't have a choice as we need the platform for fun. Though they still given it back like for bonuses and raffles only if you are lucky to win it.
2037  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I made my first $2000 through stock marketing on: February 22, 2023, 12:29:48 PM
That's what push me more to trade Bitcoin with forex trading I didn't pay to learn.
But now am not into forex trading am into stock marketing.
I buy when the price is low and sell when the price increaseses.
And That's how I made my first $1000

I got confused and felt lost  Huh. How did you do it? Forex trading, then Bitcoin trading? Forex is only for fiat, and crypto is for crypto. I don't know what you really mean, but your information is very vague, and we can't really see the pattern of how you earned that $1000. What I only understand is that you were back to trading because your friend earned a huge profit, and you want to do it too. Continue learning, and can you tell us from your trading journal how and what strategy you used to gain those first profits of yours?
2038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantage of holding Bitcoin in time of crisis on: February 22, 2023, 11:37:20 AM

Bitcoin is the best alternative way to save money, with Bitcoin you have control over your savings because it's your wallet and your key and you are your banks!
if you are completely assured that you will never need that money for long term ? meaning till the crisis ends? then of course you can trust bitcoin as a place where you can confidently save the money as investments also.

but if time comes that there is emergency need for that fund and the market drops badly , then you will be facing trouble though.

Unless he knows the risk, it doesn't matter to him if the market drops and he loses profit since he takes the risk and hopes that if he needs it, he has enough profit. There is nothing wrong with a bad market as long as the holder understands it. This won't be called savings; we call it an investment, as we are looking to have profit in the future, but it has a double purpose as we can still use it for emergencies.
2039  Economy / Economics / Re: To cut financial ties with original family benefits you in the long run on: February 22, 2023, 10:25:16 AM
If you're still single and you struggle financially, your parents will want you to be there. But if you're married and you are still under the roof with your parents and your spouse, that's something else.
However, there are parents that don't want to see their children suffer and they want to be of help as much as they can no matter what is the situation that you're dealing with. And that's why they are the ones that wanting their children to stay on their wing even if they're old enough.

Parents are very emotionally attached to their children because, since birth, they have taken care of you, and they just do it for good. It would be nice to talk with your parents if they are still doing this since you can't stand up with your own feet if they are still there helping you. Though there are still people who rely on their parents and don't want to go to work even if they are married, I couldn't understand why they are still doing that and not going out of their comfort zone.
2040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there age limits to Bitcoin investment? on: February 22, 2023, 06:45:13 AM
There is no written age limit on Bitcoin, whether you are young or old. As long as you can read, write, and use the internet, then it's good, but you need to be mature enough or able to understand the risk that it brings to you, meaning you know you could lose all of your money as it is very risky. I've read a lot of threads about young children teaching bitcoin, which I am not opposed to as long as the child is open and able to understand the purpose of it, no matter the age, as there are young children who are mature enough to take this information and others who are not, so select those mature children that are really interested in it, not based on their age, as there are other teenagers who still want to play like children.
