2021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC in crypto, does it really require? on: November 09, 2018, 01:01:19 PM

There is no regulation in crypto yet so why should we give our details to unknow ico organizers, so claim to prevent some region in participating in the ico because of the country law but those ICOs comes from the same region and country that prevent their own citizen from participating, should we say they are using style to rob us or our details is being used for other purpose .
there might be no regulation in cryptocurrency but there are regulation in each country that control entity that are similar to cryptocurrency e.g stock, bond etc. Since cryptocurrency will at some point relate to fiat of these countries, have physical structure online and on-ground so they will need to abide by those rules within the circle.
2022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be the currency of our future? on: November 09, 2018, 12:49:14 PM
One of the purpose of bitcoin is to serve for online exchange of goods but over the years the volatility has not help in calculating value exchange. The volatility is one of the advantages holders are considering so as to acquire as much as possible which pose the coin more of an asset. More stable coins are coming up that can handle value of product purchased and serve exactly the purpose of online exchange and payment
2023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BOS] 🔹🔹 BOScoin 🔹🔹 Self-Evolving Cryptocurrency Platform🔹🔹 on: November 09, 2018, 12:37:20 PM
Can I still access my bounty token after a long time? I had to check again and saw it on the dashboard, saw also the mail for verification but noticed the telegram group refereed to didn't take any tell to verify. So my token is still locked on the dashboard
2024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it right time to Buy Alts? on: November 08, 2018, 09:17:21 PM
Investment into altcoins this time might take longer period before taking profit, so everyone investing should prepare his mind for 1 year or more investment before taking profit. It might be difficult to encourage traders but now is the better time for investing into project most especially for coin with price lower than the ICO price. Fiat is a better medium for investment now.
2025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is buying new listed coin profitable? on: November 08, 2018, 09:08:46 PM
I think it depends on the movements of the token after listing on the exchanges, some tokens were just dumping the price after they listed it, and takes time to recover, so i think based on my experienced, by this time, it is profitable in the sense that you could take it longer to sell, due to market condition and community behavior.
It depends also on the exchange and ICO price, getting early to exchange when the price is at ICO value for a high volume exchange will be an advantage. I also prefer staggering coin purchase order to a lower price to give opportunity to buy into possible lower price before it pumps
2026  Other / Meta / Re: Report plagiarism (copy/pasting) here. Calling for Mod action: please permban on: November 07, 2018, 08:51:54 PM
Some managers detest the multiple post of links of social media activities for bounty campaign but such rules had been relax and spam is getting annoying. One of the relaxed rule is introduction of new managers that are familiar to such rules.
For plagiarism, reference is not the escape route, read and your express your opinion on. the article
2027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After 2018 slump, Will bounties Die now ? on: November 07, 2018, 02:10:41 PM
I dont see any difference with the bounty hunting in the size of reward. What had been so important is the choice of campaign? Though like every other investors some the ICOs never made it to exchange. Not that they couldnt but they are waiting decisively for the revival in the market before they get on the exchange. Most scam ICOs were exposed early enough to prevent wasted period of campaign. A difference is the reduction in overvalue ICOs and risk was reduced.
2028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ITO] WPP ENERGY - GREEN ENERGY TOKEN BACKED BY $BILLIONS IN PROJECTS on: November 07, 2018, 01:49:49 PM

Congratulations to WPP Team such a big milestone in this great project, does this means sales will continue now?
Will the token be considered a stable coin?
On the long term asides the value moving toward $1, is there any other benefits of investors?
2029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to use cryptocurrency in everyday life? on: November 05, 2018, 09:55:18 PM
I certainly hope so
This is what everyone expects
Does this really mean that the dollar will end?
I think this is a very difficult and unnecessary goal at this stage.

Just like the moon rule the night and sun rule the day, so will bitcoin rule the internet and fiat rule the physical exchanges.
2030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any books you can recommend me about trading practices? on: November 05, 2018, 09:51:16 PM
a thread on this forum gave extensive list of research into cryptocurrency, and I believe most of the books available will still lack information of some trading Ideas. I will one expect seeking knowledge in stock exchange, investment strategies and blockchain technology; this seemed to be the combine aspects of cryptocurrency now
2031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌲[ANN]RootProject - First Tax-Subsidized Cryptocurrency on: November 05, 2018, 09:24:31 PM
Have been reading on the rootshop and now it is getting more real. The idea is to open an auction site for roots while they allow other exchanges to get jealous and absorb or list coin. It is new to me and I love to see how it will work. My main  challenge is the type of product root present to be and they think people of all financial state can be interested. I believe they might not know how people are watching and people already have a exit plan and time.
2032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO spreadsheets on: November 04, 2018, 03:24:52 PM
What happen to most of the spreadsheet? they seem not to be updating the spreadsheet in recent weeks and old ICO are still there. Are there no new spreadsheet provided in recent weeks?
2033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: November 03, 2018, 10:02:31 PM
It is true that ICOs generally are less successful this year if to compare with the previous one. The main reason is bad market conditions and, as a result, a small number of investors. Yet, there are some worthy projects which tokens can give a good profit.
I hope the success is not in terms of fulfilling the roadmap, Most hardcap are reasonable for a startup programs and some kicks off with it. Fewer scam ICOs were seen this year. Many existing projects also got in blockchain and they were able to prove how relevant crypto is. Some disheartening cases are projects that refuse to get on exchanges until market revives, It not understandable at all
2034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will altcoins ever recover their value? on: November 03, 2018, 09:43:25 PM
However altcoins are expected to recover once bitcoin touch around 12000dollars until then altcoins downtrend will continue altcoins holders should wait patiently for price growth.
It would be really weird if people didn't want to purchase Bitcoin if the price pumped that high. The markets should recover because of FOMO.
Some opinion believe that at the total market cap of $400b and more, traders will try to put some fund into altcoin to trade with and earn some bitcoin. $12000 will give more than $400b of the total market cap. It might probably spring up pumps and dump among altcoin while it rises gradually. However, am still struggling to understand why altcoins are so affected by bitcoin slump

New Stablecoin Tied to Australian Dollar Is Launching on Stellar's Blockchain

A new stablecoin is launching on the Stellar blockchain that's designed to hold its value with the Australian dollar (AUD) and is being pitched for consumer and business uses.

Announced Tuesday at the Money 20/20 conference in Las Vegas, Novatti Group, an Australian online payments processor, will issue the Novatti AUD Utility Token beginning on November 19. The token will be backed 1-for-1 with AUD held in a trust.

While traditionally, stablecoins have been a tool for cryptocurrency traders to move money quickly between exchanges, Novatti envisions its token being used for more common use cases, like remittances or purchases.

technically, stellar is superior, and a really nice currency. but I wonder why they use Stellar blockchain to create a stable coin? they could create coins on their own blockchain.

Because it is a public platform. The public blockchain is transparent and reliable. And in the case of Stellar , this is also a fast and cheap blockchain.
Public, transparent, fast, cheap - is it not componenets of a successful project? I think yes, and Stellar has even more.
I like the name most of all other - Stellar Lumens. Sounds great Smiley
OK, I agree that creating this stablecoin is a good step, looks like this project is still in the right track. stellar about to explode again.

Do they necessarily need new stable coin if one exist already on the platform? Stellar should remain an asset for exchange, trade, stock, voting etc
2036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is this? JP Morgan Quorum on: November 02, 2018, 08:42:59 PM
Reading through the thread gives the idea of the reason of the negative news from JP morgan on his notion possible outcome of the ETF next year. It almost got me worried but that seem to be the only bad news have heard on ETF decision.
2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HybridBlock: All-In-One Cryptocurrency Trading Ecosystem on: November 02, 2018, 08:16:27 PM
I cant remember the price at ICO. I need some clarification on it. The OP wrote $ 0.3 whereas icobench gave the price of $ 0.2. I participated the crowdfund and forgot the price but I need the information for projection.

It was $0.3. Presale was $0.2
the project has a lot to at least to get to the ICO price. In few hours we have seen a slight surge in price but still requires x15 to get back to the ICO price
2038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Ethereum on: November 01, 2018, 07:40:11 PM
I was not very good about Ethereum, but Vitalik's statement gave hope for the cloudless future of this project, let's See if it will go away or not.

What was the statement he made?
2039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Raincheck - Global loyalty & rewards points exchange aggregator on Stellar on: November 01, 2018, 07:21:37 PM
The ICO had been announced to extend till Q2 2019 except the $28million is reached earlier. Such a long extended ICO sometimes worries me because they might get out of noticed from investors except they are actively involved physical campaign in most conferences and seminars where they allowed the gathering of prospective investors and they could meet with them, most especially when bounty had ended earlier.
2040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌲[ANN]RootProject - First Tax-Subsidized Cryptocurrency on: November 01, 2018, 07:13:07 PM
It is disheartening that the project is struggling to get on exchange and are not ready to talk about it. The idea of token auction is still odd and depriving to any token owners and investors. Is it wrong to invest in any project from USA now? They should please review their course/roadmap and make provision for investors
