20241  Other / Off-topic / Re: NEW TV...need advice on: November 19, 2012, 10:38:05 PM
My question is, what do I need to be able to watch movies that I have downoaded that are currently saved somewhere on my network?

Something like this will work.  Use one myself and even on double wireless (wireless from storage device to router then wireless from router to this box) I can watch anything with no stutters.

shitposting at its best

I kind of hope that he's spewing this same kind of bullshit to his parents in real life.

Well, there is a reason they are paying to keep him from moving back in.

1 BTC each, free USA shipping

USA made, no other company/country has the same recipe

Canada does, and we are still selling them.

They are not worth 1btc each - someone will buy the US rights and produce them again within a year.

20245  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I torrent the blockchain? on: November 19, 2012, 12:52:55 AM
I read somewhere on the forum there is a torrent of the blockchain to a certain block - can't find it now.  Sad

Anywhere know the thread explaining it?

Found it.

20247  Economy / Digital goods / Re: *****Eve online ISK for Bitcoins***** on: November 19, 2012, 12:50:03 AM
I'm interested, but my account has been inactive for some time.

Do you know if/how you can use a PLEX code to reactivate an old account?

Yes you can. You can log into the Eve account management page and select "Hours for PLEX"

That will give you 4 hours in which you must use a PLEX to Add game time. Failure to do so will remove this option.

Another alternative would be if you have the ISK already in your wallet, you can buy a GTC through the timecode bazaar and accept it through the account manager.

I'm interested in buying 2.  Can you send me a payment link?

Mind your own business, dude.  We're not in the business of telling dank or anyone else what to do, and neither are you.

Shut your mouth, dude.  He has 10x your community involvement and has done a lot more good around here than you.  Respect those who were here before you.

I have no community involvement yet but I have to say, he only typed what I was thinking.  If someone wants to sell gold or silver in BTC without involving the IRS, more power to them.  Anyone who steps in to remind another of the slave state tax rules is a slave themselves.  the IRS can go screw.

I personally think anonymous BTC exchange to gold/siver is going to be just what we need.

Oh, and the IRS can go screw.

It's fine to have opinions and express them even without prior community involvement.  At least you are able to get your points across without being a dick to others.   Wink

The only problem that I have with the ponzi reasoning in this case is that his deposit scheme was a lot larger at one point

No it wasn't.  He has the most customers right now, which isn't very many thankfully.
20250  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Twinkies, Cupcakes, Zingers & Pies on: November 18, 2012, 10:07:35 PM
These are still being manufactured and sold in Canada.  They are only disappearing in the states until someone buys the rights.
20251  Economy / Goods / Re: Dank Metal - Silver and gold for BTC @ Spot Price on: November 18, 2012, 10:06:48 PM
I'm not going to follow your flowchart.  Neither are you, apparently.

The guy is a complete hypocrite.   Sad

On another note, you do remember agreeing to receiving the scammer tag unless you successfully have your million person music festival next month, right?

Please locate and quote said agreement so when the concert does not take place we can get a scammer label applied to this ponzi operator.

Until you stop being a dick to strangers.

You're doing the same thing, hypocrite.  You're being a dick to forum strangers who have been here longer than you.

Coincidence?   Shocked
20254  Economy / Goods / Re: Dank Metal - Silver and gold for BTC @ Spot Price on: November 18, 2012, 02:39:22 AM
For this reason, I'm not too worried that he is going to walk off with my 24 BTC, simply for the fact that if he wanted, he could get a 200 BTC loan or better before vanishing.

That's not a fact.  You are helping a ponzi build trust  Huh  but I doubt anyone would be so stupid as to give him 200btc.
20255  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Twinkies (2Packs and Singles) - Accepting BTC on: November 18, 2012, 12:45:49 AM
Edit: These are posted elsewhere and going relatively fast, so if you even think you want me to hold a couple please let me know.

Cheesy  They are still being manufactured and sold in Canada.  They are going nowhere.

I think all dreams are signs, you choose how to interpret so.  They're an experience after all, a change of perception.  You always learn from experiencing an alteration of senses.  How much you learn is dependent on how aware you are.

I agree with you.  However dreams cannot predict the future; nothing can.
20257  Economy / Goods / Re: Dank Metal - Silver and gold for BTC @ Spot Price on: November 18, 2012, 12:42:02 AM
In all fairness, Dank could likely panhandle what is needed to cover his debts at the moment, and is unlikely to grow to the point he would not.

That's exactly why he hasn't defaulted yet - his "deposits" are so low his parents can pay the interest on them - and they do.  He's also in the trust building phase so he will pay everything back in full and early.

But if given the chance to grow to the point where his parents couldn't pay the interest anymore, he would quickly disappear with everyone's coins.

"Ehrmagerd, I can't explain how someone makes money, therefore he must be doing it in a fraudulent way."

I suggest you read up how ponzi's work.  Dank refusing to tell anyone how he makes the money is one of the many red flags.  If he could make 280%+ a year, why does he rely on handouts from his parents?  Why is he selling his valuable worldly possessions for cash right now in this thread?

Oil doesn't keep your car cool and functional?

Did you know cars and plate tectonics work differently?  There is not enough oil in the planet to lubricate plates like oil does in a car.   Roll Eyes

This is why mechanics don't double as seismologists.

I don't appreciate to be told to shut up by you.

I'm telling repentance, who is meddling in someone else's affairs (dank's affairs, to be accurate) not to do so.  He shouldn't do that, regardless of how much he has been involved in the community, or how much you say so yourself.

And now you're also calling dank a "Ponzi schemer".

Don't be destructive.  Mind your own business yourself.

Well, I don't appreciate being told to mind my own business by you.  How far you want to go back and forth?   Undecided

Dank IS running a ponzi.

Or do you think he has a magic way of making more than 280% annually (2% per week) that no one else has ever been able to do?
