I can't optimize miner for 270/280X, because I don't have them. Version 9.1: https://www.dropbox.com/s/auba1v24elkz23y/xpmclient_v9.1.tar.gz?dl=0- All OpenCL kernel parameters (chain length target, sieve size, etc) moved to config.txt file. After changing kernel parameters you must delete old kernel.bin file before miner launching - Full 11ch target support (set target = "11"; in config.txt when difficulty reach ~10.988-10.99).
For 270 and 280X cards you can try: - primorials 12, 13 and 14 - "sieveSize" values - 210, 420, 630 and 840 - different "weaveDepth" values (must be a multiple of 256)

i get 9.4-9.7 on 7970 1120/1250 on windows 9.7cpd with version 8.2 or 9.0? can we use the 11ch kernel.bin from old or do we need to recompile No, old 11ch kernel not compatible with current miner version. With current difficulty (10.97xxx) 10ch version more profitable.

I guess probably as your new update requires using sieve primorial 14 while (at least what I found) 270 and 280X works better on sieve primorial 13. Can you show miner output on 270 and 280X from versions 8.2 and 9 ?

Next miner update: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fwemao6bdatxe3a/xpmclient_v9.tar.gz?dl=0+4-5% performance (up to 14.3-14.4CPD on stock R9 290X, 12.4-12.5 on R9 290) benchmark mode added (it's a prepare for support non-GCN GPUs, such as Radeon HD 6xxx and NVidia Maxwell - 750Ti, GTX970, GTX980). For run benchmark, launch xpmclient with -b parameter. Output example for downclocked (700/1250) Radeon R9 290X: ./xpmclient -b

For pool mining, rename xpm.config.txt or dtc.config.txt (for DataCoin mining) to config.txt and change "address" field to your wallet. Sieve primorial at this version must be 14: sieveprimorial = ["14", "14", "14", "14, "14"];
v9 tested only on Linux at this moment.

weird on my 290x's 2 on 1 system with fx8320 driver 14.4-up i was getting 5.xx per card only way i got 12.xx was with default setting in conf still playing with things have tried cpu 1 and 2 diff clocks on cards etc not sure what the deal is yet works fine on my 7970's 5.xx XPM per day? It's too few, what CPD miner shows?

Hi,
is there a newbie guide for all this? I have never mined XPM with all these miners, can anyone point me to a guide or something?
Thanks.
Pool mining is easy: 1) Download latest miner https://www.dropbox.com/s/52hlsg3kir7by3t/xpmclient_v8.2.tar.gz2) Rename xpm.config.txt to config.txt 3) Put your XPM wallet here: # Your XPM payout address address = "blablabla";
Also you can setup GPU engine and memory clocks 4) Run xpmclient.exe on Windows or xpmclient if you use Linux. 5) Profit!

ADL work on windows, thanks. Sapphire 280x cpd from 9.3 to 9.6 What clocks on R9 280X?
|
|
|
Does this work with an R7 270X or only 280X. Nobody posted any hash rates here for anything other than 280/290s
Supported GPU's: R9 290(X), R9 280(X), R9 270(X), HD7970, HD7950, i.e. all GCN cards.

Dont release source files :-)
You can send them to me (for making DTC version) and other "trusted" ppl :-D OR send it to Claymore so he dont have to search too much :-P
Sorry, open sources is main feature of this miner @All: wait new version with ~14,3-14,4CPD at this weekend... with sources, of course

is this a miner that connects to the mad max server code? or did you just make your own miner? It's MadMax's client, but more than twice faster than original.

My R9 280 eror! Try download miner again. Overclocking and temperature control not working on Windows properly now, but mining must work. having issues with v7.1 - seems to just hang on the connecting to pool part. Tried it on a couple machines and it does the same on all of them. All running windows 8.1 and have 6 x R9 280X. Anyone else experiencing the same issues? Only with 7.1? I don't touch a client, only OpenCL kernel was changed (you can try v7.0 with kernel.bin from 7.1). Are ports 60000-60003 opened at your network?

i think he can release source code when next binary released, therefore to avoid someone use his code for himself's paid miner, which is not good. I don't finished work on source, it will be released tomorrow (14Jul) 99% A little update now, version 7.1: https://www.dropbox.com/s/029gt5jk4tt8a2y/xpmclient_v7_1.tar.gz~13,45CPD on stock Sapphire Tri-X Radeon R9 290X.

for 270, however, cpd is much lower than v6 (3.5 for v6, 2.7 for v7). (I have tried both 5 and 6 for hashprimorial.) hashprimorial now not used and will be removed from config.txt, you can change sieveprimorial with range 13-15 for R9 270/280. I've got 2 warning messages per card after each new work received Work received: height=627347 diff=10.960206 latency=0ms * warning: no enough candidates available * warning: no enough candidates available It's debug message, 2-3 messages after work is normal. For the fan speed, does it mean a fixed fan speed or max fan speed for auto? It's fixed fan speed. ADL only recognition the first card in win7, please fix it Ok, I try fix it, but I have no access to multi-gpu windows machine for testing.. try 2 or 3 for hashprimorial cpd is 5.xx for 270x In latest version hash primorial not used. After next update R9 290X will show over 13CPD
