2041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 01, 2018, 12:38:02 PM
So, finally someone ended City's winning streak. That needed to happen once, but, personally, I didn't think Crystal Palace would be that team.
Maybe it's due to long schedule and fatigue.
There shouldn't be any excuse for that at all, Roy Hodgson had a great strategy and it worked very well, Manchester City could managed just four shot on target during the entire game and that goes to show how Crystal Palace didn't get them the chance to play their kind of football.

The hectic schedule of leagues in the UK makes big teams struggle to rotate their players. The previous result was not so bad for me. Despite failing to win the game, at least Manchester City wasn't lost the game and still leads the standings with the difference in points that are fairly distant.
2042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: January 01, 2018, 11:39:03 AM
When you no longer have fun when you play, just take a break to start fresh later. Gambling is a game that is meant to entertain us. If you see it as a business that can be profitable, you're doing it wrong. You should stop when it's starting to affect your financial situation.
For me, gambling is all about fun. Once you loose that, it's time to rest and a break can be good.

People will find it hard to have fun anymore when they faced a bad result (lose) and unfortunately at such situation, people tend to forget their previous plans regarding gambling. People will keep chasing their previous lost instead of stopping at that point.
2043  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you knew Bitcoin would never change in value, would you buy it? on: December 31, 2017, 07:46:07 PM
If it were guaranteed that the price of bitcoin would stay the same as it is today, would you still buy it?  My guess is, the answer is no. But if its value lies in being a currency, price stability is essential. And if your answer is no, how is it then not just a Ponzi scheme? In other words, everyone is buying it on the hope of someone paying more for it in the future, not to use it as a currency.

No, I won't buy or storing bitcoin if the price is stable. Because, bitcoin and other types of crypto is not recognized as a means of payment in my country even though the price is stable. So, storing bitcoin under such conditions would be very unreasonable.
2044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustrations: Losing Streak on: December 31, 2017, 10:23:16 AM
Losing streak is the worst thing gamblers have to deal with in gambling. They just don't know to stop or continue to chasing it, for me i won't chase it. Just relax and restart.

This is a common mistake of every gambler, they keep on chasing their losses which is really not good. Always gamble with limits on how much money you can afford to loose. Gambling is risky and it can leads you to greed, be careful and don't let gambling control your life.

Most people will find it hard to accept lose and unfortunately most will also make the wrong decision when dealing with losing streak. Self-control is something that is easy to say but will be difficult to do. It'll take a long time for us to achieve a good level of self-control.
2045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally, Bitcoin is a Crime in our Country. on: December 30, 2017, 06:01:16 PM
And the wait is officially over!  The worst news in this year is Bitcoin is Totally illegal in Bangladesh. If someone trade bitcoin then he will be punish by police in Jail!

What should we do now, Guys?  Cry

If it is true, then I am sorry to hear it. There is nothing you and your compatriot can do other than just follow the rules. Do not get into a trouble because of bitcoin even though it is bitter fact.
2046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: December 30, 2017, 11:50:06 AM
The urge of wishing to have an instant big money, or the interest of trying to have a luck is mostly common reason why people tend to gamble, but then always remember it is always bigger a chance of losing than winning if you will think it wisely😃

The desire to earn money easily without the need to work hard is one of the reasons why we gamble. Although, at most cases, we will get the opposite results, but we tend to try it again and again as long as it is still a chance to do so. It is weird but that's the fact!
2047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 30, 2017, 10:57:44 AM
Manchester city has finished the year without any worries for them to finish up the rest of the season as champions
and can enjoy their new years celebrations knowing this in their minds.

No other team can challenge them as the top 4 other teams are not even close to their accomplishments.

You will be surprised in 2018 if they start losing few matches. Closing half season with 15 points difference is not going to guarantee you to win the season. Besides that , the schedule in 2018 is going to make the league more interesting

With some luck, they may slip out of their position but thats depending on their strategy for the upcoming game. I wrote it in my previous post that their only reasonable strategy for now is to sign few more player to cover up for their hectic schedule

You are right, this season is not over yet but 15 points difference is a big gap though. Manchester City is still on top and keep their performance with the winning streak. The problem is other big teams like arsenal, liverpool and man united are unstable, can't keep their winning streak. Sometimes draw or lose

15-point gap between Manchester City and Manchester United would seem difficult to pursue. Only extraordinary events that could lead Manchester United to overtake Man City position.
2048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to know if a gambling site is a scam or not? on: December 29, 2017, 08:36:27 PM
Well, I do validate by doing a background research, reviews and word of mouth. Normally, There's a similarities in all scam sites in which they are requiring a deposit before you can access the games of that site. Though there are gambling sites that are good at first up until they gain your trust and suddenly withdraw all your money without notice. That's why a thorough research is a must.

Yes, even though a reliable gambling site can turn into a scam, there is no guarantee that trustable site will be trustworthy forever. The best way to avoid such bad thing is to regularly check up on the latest news in regard with the site and do not leave our money on gambling sites for a longer time.
2049  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to sell? on: December 29, 2017, 12:32:02 PM
Don't know how you think selling at Christmas is a good time. If you are to sell really it depends on what price you bought for and what price you are willing to sell at. Then you have to not worry and be full of regret when prices are alot higher than they are now.

Selling our bitcoin when we already get a relatively large profit would be very nice. But sometimes, something can change our initial plan in investment. Unexpected things, needs in life that come out of plan, could happen that forces us to withdraw some or all of our investments.
2050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: December 29, 2017, 11:46:26 AM
I think the positive or negative remarks on gambling solely depend on the individual. A person may start gambling because his peers and friends do this regularly. So, he starts gambling as a result of interest developed by others. Having said that, there are some countries where gambling is forbidden or discouraged. In this case, a person who is regular gambler will be ashamed to some extent.

Thats depending if you let other people know that you are gambling or not because most people will not let the others know that they are gambler. Even if your country allow you to gamble but that kind of thing is just not possible. People tend to keep quiet about them being a gambler because it is not something good to boast to the other

Gamblling can give a problem for some people especially for them who lives in a country where gambling isn't allowed. Gamblers from such countries tend to hide their hobbies. Beside gambling can lead people to get a problem with the authority, they ashamed because in public opinion, gambling is a bad thing to do. Social punishment sometimes feels so bad!
2051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you still bet, when there is a break in your favorite league on: December 28, 2017, 08:24:53 PM
I've got a question to you!

Do you bet on different leagues / sports or maybe do you roll dice etc. when your favorite league has a break?

 Grin

Depending on how familiar I am with the league other than the leagues I used to follow. But certainly I will keep looking for the possibility to bet, though on the league that I rarely follow and if I have to bet, I will bet with relatively small amount of money.
2052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best investment strategies on: December 28, 2017, 07:11:28 PM
Hey..

I know that everyone has different investment strategies such as day trading, hodl, buying icos and so forth...

I am selecting the best icos of every month and then I am investing into 2-3 icos for every month, but I have heard many people complaining abouy buying icos because price tend to get lower when hitting exchange for the first time..

And sometimes I am simply frustrated when hearing shit tons of people saying that buying icos is stupid.. but I guess its not so time consuming as day trading..

what is your strategy??? and what are pros and cons of your strategy??

Buying tokens when it hit the exchange for the first time and the price is lower than the ICO's price could be good strategy to pick. Bounty hunters tend to sell their rewards as the tokens hit the exchange. But for sure, we have to pick only the token from ICO's that draw our attention only.
2053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your worst mistake in Gambling? on: December 28, 2017, 11:45:09 AM
Never chase your loses, Once you make profit cashout. Gambling is like a circle, if you don't know when to stop you'll end up at the starting point Smiley

The worst mistake I did when I was gambling was when I was trying to win back the loss I had when I gambled all my bitcoin and hit the "all in" button and to my surprise I lost all my bet.
So I tried to win it back again and deposited twice the amount I bet the first time around and to my surprise again I lost it all.

It was even the first gambling site I ever tried to play and I was so eager to win back the losses but could never have it back. I never went back to that gambling site ever again.

Your mistake in gambling is a common mistake of gambler could do chasing the loss to win back until the gambler lost everything.
anyway my biggest mistake in gambling is while playing in bustabit putting a bet at 1100 bits and click extra zero and then it busted at 0.

Setting the wrong bet amounts sometimes happens to me too especially when my physical and psychic condition is dropping. Right now I am very cautious before betting. I have to make sure everything is set correctly before I take an action.
2054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 on: December 28, 2017, 10:19:09 AM
I see bitcoin price will be get up 20K cross in the 2018 year.so we are keep in holding.

20k looks more realistic in 2018 and for sure I wish bitcoin will increase in price next year. The number of people who already familiar with this technology is increasing, therefore it can boost the price steadily as I wish.
2055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD for small payments, Bitcoin Cash is the FUTURE on: December 27, 2017, 11:19:07 AM
Bitcoin right now is not practical to use in small transactions. It is now used for a long term investment and not suitable for payments on our necessities.

I have to thanks to my government then, because they aren't allowed its citizens to use bitcoin as a means of payment, hence we can just save it on our own wallet in the hope to get good profit after some period of time.
2056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: December 26, 2017, 08:04:40 PM
Anything can happen in the future. But if we see the current development, it seems impossible for ethereum to overtake bitcoin. Bitcoin is more popular and bears the predicate as the main crypto.
2057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 26, 2017, 07:03:40 PM
wtf is wrong with man united? 0-2 in the first half, if they lose in this match I don't know what to say. maybe it's time for a new manager ?

Man united were lucky to escape with a draw. All odds were against Mourinho's boys from the first whistle. Todays squad looked confused and there was no communication at all. It looked like everyone was trying to out-do his colleague. I pity for Lukaku who is now looking like someone who doesn't know what to do on the field. Mourinho needs to do something otherwise with the current competition for 2nd, 3rd and 4th places, he might end up losing it out.
Manchester United are really lucky because they did not experience defeat in boxing day matches before 2017 is closed. But, with this draw, they seem to have to work hard again to improve their game performance in order to catch the top standings while the Premier League.

Manchester United almost losing their face in front of their fans. Burnley was leading by two goals at first half and it was so surprising. Draw result indeed not the best result for MU but at least they didn't lose. MU still lucky this time!
2058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ? on: December 26, 2017, 05:50:48 PM
Facebook and twitter are good as a place to promote ICO as long as the content of the promotion is easy to understand and the ICO in question is really handled professionally.
2059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: December 26, 2017, 12:22:08 PM
In my opinion, I don't think you can save money while gambling. Every time you lose you are tempted to bet more even if you say you will save money. Once in gambling there is an eagerness or a sensation where we want to earn more. But we ended up losing a lot.

These can be solved with a new habit in gambling. Instead of playing without plan, we have to change the way we gamble. Make limits, stop when we lost a specific amount or when we reach a specific profit. It needs time to be able to familiar with such method, but I am sure we can do it if we have strong intention.
2060  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: December 25, 2017, 06:49:09 PM
i think skill based gambling is more riskier than trading. In trading you will not completely lost all your money.
First of all, I want to add something to your comment that there is no skills based gambling because gambling is totally relying upon your luck, if you are lucky enough you will make profits and vice versa.

Gambling is more risky than trading because in trading you don’t have any pressure of losing your money while in gambling, if one is winning the game from the start but at the end, due to this pressure he has to face loss at the end.
Not all gambling type is basing on luck there are Sportsbet and other kinds of gambling that need a research and analysis to predict the outcome, so basically it's predictable. It's really different when it comes to a game that the outcome is unpredictable.

Yes, most sport games are predictable but not every analysis will work as expected. Sometimes, big team lost when playing against a weak team. And don't forget, even though most sport games are predictable, there are odds that will for sure against us if we wanted to place bets on which team to win the game.
