2041  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: March 07, 2022, 09:23:28 PM
If they wont really be putting up some importance on security neither they are running off a casino or exchange then it would surely be having that toll or effect later on which they shouldnt really be that confident.

Not only players could exploit possible security lapses or those common hackers around on trying out to snip if they could really bypass any service or platforms security and these are indeed common targets.

Somehow only few incidents that we are seeing about hacking incidents but we shouldnt really be that too confident.
Yeah and I won't be too confident if I am a casino site owner. It is not a good practice if you won't upgrade the security of the site and as what khaled0111 said, prevention is better than cure. It's better to be safe than sorry and it would be a problem if ever the platform you own is hacked and hacker was able to get some funds even if it's not all of it but refunding your customers would be a huge loss on profit plus the customers won't be confident enough to gamble in a site as what khaled0111 said which is they will lose the trust of their customers.
Security is one of the best things that you should ensure out because once the site is been hacked then it would really lost its reputation which it would really be totally a disaster thing on your business.

Even you could really patch up or do make out some compensation to those users had been affected but still the trust would be totally be not 100% anymore unlike into those platforms which
doesnt still have that hacking incident or scenario which it should really be a standard thing overall when it comes to security. They should really put emphasis or focus on.
2042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Overthink Potential of Bitcoin on: March 07, 2022, 06:35:33 PM
I think that the expectation is based on some hype and prediction commented on by many influencers and also crypto enthusiasts previously. I personally also feel the same, overestimate the price of Bitcoin to reaches at least $100k. I have been imagining the profits that I can earn if the BTC price really hits the rate.
but unfortunately, the rate will not happen this year. The market is still chasing moreover because of the war and also other bad condition.
Many just believe on certain predictions which quietly don't have any basis from those people and newbie should think more twice about this since mostly this will caught them and cannot think correctly if bad moments came in the market. That's why its good to verify always the information and digest it once there is supporting facts towards what they see. And major factor that stops bitcoin if we talk about its rising up is what you said the war is one of big factor of its downside at the moment.
Everything would really be speculative and there's no such thing about precise predictions because no one could predict the future which means even professionals or veterans are really than prone to mistakes.

It is really just normal  that people would overthink because we do see that bitcoin never fails to impress us on which it do reach out things that we havent expected for it to happen.
Somehow there are really some mindsets and hopes which are really that come into a point that it was never already that realistic and people should really avoid that.
2043  Economy / Economics / Re: Your opinion on side jobs on: March 07, 2022, 05:28:07 PM
Money dont smell. If side job is not illegal, I have free time and dont feel lazy, then I would definitely do it. Specially if it is near me and I dont have to bother a lot. It is better to have couple of dollars in my pocket, then gain couple of inched in waist while laying dont on sofa. Only lazy people dont want to earn extra.
True, I think most people have an extra income, regardless of what they do. If it makes money why not, as long as it doesn't deviate from the norms and rules. And it's good when we have a side job so that our free time is not wasted (not including our time to rest). And I agree with your opinion, only lazy people don't do anything productive in their free time.
But you shouldnt really compromise your rest time which is really an important thing rather than battering yourself on doing job just for the sake of money.Yes, it isnt bad because we are really aiming for having a

better life but you should not really ignore rest time or else you would definitely be having some problems later on when your health would be the issue which those money that you are accumulating or saving up

would really be just goes to your medication or something, thats why you should really be wise into your decisions.
2044  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: March 04, 2022, 07:24:01 PM
It is true that there is always a risk when playing at casinos that do not really have a long history in this market, however as long as people are prudent with their gambling then most of the time they are not going to have too much of a problem with those casinos, however the biggest risk at least when it comes to the topic at hand is to play in a casino that is relatively new but that got recent success, as that is the perfect scenario for a hacker to try to get some money as it is unlikely the security is as good as what they can find in established casinos and as such are easier to hack.
Not all new casinos are easier to hack but we can't deny that some are hacked when the casino success or starting to gain the gambler's trust. Even the old ones are hackable if the hacker finds a flaws in that casino then it will be most likely to get exploited by the hacker that will result in loss of funds or accounts of the gamblers. That's why casinos always work to make the security even more secured and find which is the reason why it got hacked and then fix it.
For newly launched casinos then you could initially able to determine on which one is something that scammy and which one is a serious business basing off with some factors specially on design and overall around.
Security is just a basic or standard thing for a business owner to mind off since this would really be a profitable business and involves big money if this business succeeds on which it would be normal
that you would really need to secure in terms of handling out the business well.NOthing is unhackable but you could take precautionary measures for you to avoid.
While security it is a place in which a casino should invest heavily to protect themselves from threats like hackers, some casinos try to lower their costs and decide to slash their security budget as this is something that cannot be seen by the player and many times it is just assumed that the casino is doing everything they can to protect their customers, however later on those casinos are found by hackers and that is when we hear of the massive hacks that can happen to casinos and exchanges as their security was not up to the standards required in the industry to secure the funds of their customers.

2045  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Build A Great Crypto Portfolio on: March 04, 2022, 06:21:06 PM

On the other hand, there are those who don't actively trade, if you fall under this category, you can however just invest all your money in those good projects and wait for the set time, if you are not wired to actively trade, like myself.
Easy to say but that wont really be that easy because not all would really be having the ff;

1. Doesnt have the right amount or sufficient funds to do so.
2. Very hard to find projects which is worth for holding for long term.
3. Emotional and Psychological aspects

These 3 alone would definitely be a main factor that will affect about your decision on which one you would choose.
You would really bare that in your own mind that nothing is guaranteed which is true.
2046  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hashwars.games | Blockhash based Rolls/Verification | No KYC | up to 0.01% edge on: March 03, 2022, 11:43:29 PM
I don`t think that you can teach someone how blockchain works with casino. Cryptocurrency gambling means that a man knows about blockchain
No, not necessarily. Some crypto gamblers don't know anything about the blockchain technology and how things work under the hood. All they know is how to send/receive coins from/to their wallets. Obviously hashwars.games isn't the perfect place to learn about blockchain, someone can learn a thing or two from it while having fun.

OP, since every thing seems to be working fine on the back-end, I suggest you spend some time to improve the website' UI and, if possible, make it mobile friendly.
I doubt if he would done that specially he had mentioned out that this would be just an educational kind of website that involves betting though but making out some few tweaks or
adjustments into its UI then it wouldnt really be that bad and its true that this might not be an effective way on teaching something about blockchain works but
it would at least give out some idea or input on how does it works.
2047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Women and Cryptocurrency on: March 03, 2022, 10:38:55 PM
See where the misconception is, anyone in crypto is often assumed to be a male without asking, since crypto space is decentralized and the identity of people is not known, people just assumed 99.9% of crypto users are male, I personally know of some females who are heavily into crypto and are often referred to as male (Telegram) and so also in every other crypto related forum.
No doubt this space is predominantly male but I know for a fact there are many females as well, some of the users make people know their sex, and some just blend, it is a relief to see the number of female is increasing.
we all know that everyone can be involved in this crypto world but are there more men who play a role in it than women I think there is no definite evidence maybe only 10-15% difference is based on the users of the crypto market who state; Crypto ownership rates for men are 58 percent and women 42 percent.
I dont really believe easily with those tallies yet only a few had been interviewed or been surveyed which it  wouldnt really be that accurate on what numbers they would be tending to show.

It doesnt matter on how many women or men would involved the market. This is a free one and everyone does have  the rights to get in depending or according into their interest which

it isnt really just that right that there should really be that certain gender on whose gonna in.Men are just naturally adventurous i would say on a risky market something like this.
2048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bounty Campaign a Sustainable way to grow your Crypto Community? on: March 03, 2022, 09:41:22 PM
No doubtful, bounty campaigns draws a ton of attention to your community and enlighten potential investors about your project. But at the long run, is this development sustainable? Is it reliable enough to grow your project?
When it comes to exposure and attention then bounty would be always a part of marketing on which it is really needed to create some awareness but if you do talk about sustainable kind of demand and attention then
would vary on different things like;

1. Project relevance
2. Utility
3. Development team
4. Marketing

You cant assure success though but if these things are on check then you could have the chance.
2049  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: March 03, 2022, 08:36:55 PM
Well, that is familiar with many casinos their charge network fees just to get your transaction verified on theblockchain, this is a normal network fee and the amount is mostly small compared to some other gambling platforms that charge users double fees.
You mean Stake?  Smiley - Sorry for the mention

Why people do really boggle up their mind with very minimal satoshi amounts of their network fees? Even on slightest difference they do really make out some issue?
At least they do only charge out network fees and dont add up some extra charges before you could make out some withdrawal which we should still be that
grateful on having that.
2050  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto prices crash as threat of war looms on: March 03, 2022, 07:36:24 PM
In my opinion, the decline in the price of bitcoin in the last few days has nothing to do with the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The price of bitcoin dropped from $40k to $34k due to the massive sell-off. Even now, the bitcoin price started to rebound and rose up to 11.8% where the price went back up to around $43k.

It has something to do with these incident since we always see that there's a threat of huge crisis if the war will happen and that one fud people that's why there's a huge number of people getting panic on what they heard on the news. From now the price became stable so hopefully bitcoin can sustain it and recover back again then reach maybe upt $50k again.
We didnt really dip that much and those recent decrease are just like typical or normal days with bitcoins price which i could say that there's no significant effect that do happen in the market

with this current situation or recent event like this war even though its not an assurance for it not to happen and might really just be readying up for some decline or something like that.

Price crash is totally different from small corrections or decreases which we are seeing at the moment.
2051  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: March 02, 2022, 11:35:02 PM
This question is at very valid point. Market is at confusion point to everyone we can't predict whole journey of crypto these days. Very risky and dangerous everything is looking. War is going arround at present time between Russia and Ukraine, two big country of this world. Crypto regulations from worldwide sectors should come before its get too late if don't come market can be harmful at any point because if you can't accept anyting then how can you faith on it.

Nothing is risk-free! The crypto market looks confusing, but can you tell was there a time without some confusion in crypto!? There's always something, new and crazy things happen all the time... but the crypto market is making progress every year! After every fall it rises again and from time to time it hits a new record! So it's either we have a clear mind and we believe and support crypto that brings many benefits in the last 10 years for people who are active, or we fall under confusion and weak hands sell in panic! Don't be confused, just clear your mind from propaganda, think it true and find something you believe in and just stack sats!
Its always been confusing

1. Market Seller and Buyer demand
2. News and Fundamentals
3. Randoms unknown movements

You couldnt able to determine on where it would be going but with due experience and learnings been gained
then you could really somewhat able to sustain.
2052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 02, 2022, 09:37:01 PM
Does he really changed up his behavior? Maybe.. its true that i havent recently seeing that he do make out some trashtalks to provoke whether on his upcoming opponent or neither Inoue.

We can assume that he was just told not to do so or might be, he thinks that if only he's not like that, there will be no problem that happened last December where he failed to show up in the weigh-in because of his viral condition.

Anyhow, trash talk or hitting the opponent with some offensive words is not really necessary.

They can do the talking on the ring, not in exchange of words in the public.

Yeah, maybe someone is the background is advising Casimero to tone down a bit because it doesn't make sense at all to trash talk the likes of Inoue and Donaire. The fight will happen sooner or later. And he should learn from his fellow Filipino, the legendary Manny Pacquiao, who chooses to do the talking inside the ring and not being so arrogant outside and talking trash to his opponent.
Agree on this one and as a boxing fan too then i do much prefer on a fighter which is really that humble  and doesnt really talk too much on how he would able to beat his opponent.
Let your fists do the talking and that would be looking much more better rather than opening up your mouth and trying to declare that you are already the winner even on pre-fight.
For sure there were people behind who do gave out some advices on making this behavior to be toned down so that it wouldnt create soo much hate.
2053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is going up during war? on: March 02, 2022, 08:38:09 PM
OP, it's actually a bit difficult to know how bitcoin is behaving in the market so far because it all depends so much on supply and demand. War is just an excuse for price volatility and should not be 100% the reason why prices can go up or down.

Long term investors only take advantage of the downturn to collect bitcoin while others take advantage of it for the short term. Both ways work well for them, but of course sometimes they also have to wait longer for the price to recover.
Just those presumptions but look at on what happened on Bitcoins price? It do even make out some significant rise up even though not that big or great but at least it is really that gaining.

It is true that its not a solid thing for you to rely on with these kind of sentiments or news in regarding with your trading analysis. It will still solely be depending on market demand and supply talks

whenever we do mention out about its price movement which it had been unpredictable since from the beginning.
2054  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: March 02, 2022, 10:15:39 AM
They still have allies and China as the biggest one of them, I am pretty sure that Russia will be able to survive for at least a little while and I am sure that China will definitely make the most out of it even though they're an ally. But the Russian allies will have to be careful too as they might get included in the sanctions too.
Not an assurance but it would most likely that China would still able to back them out and of course there would be some intent behind those things knowing China would really be that opportunistic as long it could

benefit them out on the future. So what if China wouldnt impose any sactions? No country would able to oppose on what would be their decision so im much sure that Russia president is really that something

confident as he do still continue with his war plans but there might be some peace talks which might completely stop all of these things.
2055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 01, 2022, 11:39:45 PM
We all have thought really that it's going to be Inoue and Casimero as it came from him personally and then, here goes the sudden announcement and order from WBO.
It's possible that it's his team that has told him to remain quiet and just focuses on training. And when the match is going to be near like 2 or 1 week before it starts, they'll do the marketing through him and will do the talks. Maybe not actual trash talks but some insults I guess.
I think casimero's approach already changed because from trash talker it seems like he already keep His silence for long now.
though this maybe another strategy and His mouth will start trashing again when the fight is near to happen.
but whatever he does? still the fight will be awaited as this will Lead Casimero to finally fight Inoue in which His dream fight for long now, after His fellow Filipino Boxer Fails winning against this Japanese monster fighter.
Yup, there's the issue that has started and still he's in silence but that's okay. There's a lot of meaning for silence and he really doesn't have to address that.
I think, this makes him better if he just focus on his training and no need for any trash talk or any kind of talk that will hype his match. Butler has to be finished first so he can proceed to his next matchup.

if this will be another upset and butler will win. i guess, all the long discussions here about casimero will stop for a while. a lot has been waiting for his next match so hopefully he will not disappoint his fans here. he is learning his lesson so maybe the reason why he is limiting his trash talks now.
this upcoming fight will be the determining factor if he can pursue inoue here. so should not be taken lightly by his camp.

Does he really changed up his behavior? Maybe.. its true that i havent recently seeing that he do make out some trashtalks to provoke whether on his upcoming opponent or neither Inoue.

He might have been thinking that it would be better to stay silent and win the fight on at least making Inoue to be interested once again because as we have heard or read in the past

that Inoue got pissed with those Casimero trashtalks which might be the reason that he would lost up some interest on fighting him.
2056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's a pleasant way of marketing? on: March 01, 2022, 10:38:22 PM
And that would surely cost you because getting some influencers on introducing or trying out to hype your project isnt something that would be easy yet everything would really vary into its potential.
Ofcoure it will be costly. What do you expect a project will grow without funds alone? Lets be realistic here, projects that grows arr due to help of some marketing funds. Yes it would be sound like a pump and dump but thats how its work. Can you name a project that grows without help of such marketing ads or such used of influencers? There are some of course but that would take a lot of efforts and the chances arr not so confident.

Here's some 5 basic key factors.

Money.
Management.
Marketing and Sales.
People.
Product and Service.
Process and Systems.

Marketing is needed as always and of course "Money".
2057  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Huge crypto scam that happened last year(2021) on: March 01, 2022, 09:31:42 PM
The huge crypto scam that happened in 2021 that nobody wants to talk about is the metaverse coin and NFT projects. 99% of them are pure ponzis and rugpulls waiting to be happened,,, and the old shillers are talking about them thinking people forgot about their past promoted scams. New chillers and influencers are just recruited by old pump n dump groups.

I must agree with this since this is what I experienced. I've also lost my funds when I invested them in NFT projects due to hype which is also my mistake. Most of them have turned into rug pull. One thing I realized is that there's no such thing as easy money or earnings. Most of them have turned into a ponzi scheme and those who invested first benefited from it the most. I guess every NFT would end up that way if the developers couldn't handle it well.
You should have anticipated that and if you are just new into this market then you would most likely ending up on being scammed or losing your investment because you do let yourself get dragged with the hype.

This is just like those ICO days on where lots had been overhyped on joining and dealing with every project that comes out until they had realize that they had been scammed in the end.

Scam would continue to exist and those scammy developers would continue to exist as long there would be people who do keep feeding them.
2058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: March 01, 2022, 08:26:59 PM
I don't like anything excessive, it must have an effect, I do like gambling but not too much that can make me frustrated or not. and only people who lose a lot of money become frustrated and mentally down that I know and often happens.?
I think a responsible gambling website will have a good priority and will definitely keep members safe. If you are not responsible, of course, the name of the web will be a fugitive from a bad image fraud.
Yes, it is right. Anything in excess will not be good for us, especially playing gambling excessively. We have learned many lessons about how many people suffer losses in gambling games. That's enough for us to be a lesson for ourselves and lest we also experience the same thing.

Gambling websites warn their members to always act responsibly in gambling, but most people don't pay attention to this and get bad results. Everything will return to each of us, how we can take care of ourselves in playing gambling and not spending too much money.

Ultimately it remains primarily the responsibility of the player, he himself chooses to create an account and to bet money on races. The site has no influence on that. Every site handles self-exclusion differently. I don't even know what the license says exactly. An easy logic would be, if you don't want to play, just don't log in and don't deposit.
As simple as that and it should really be their responsibility with their actions. If they dont really like to play and dont get involved with gambling anymore then they should normally trying to avoid all sort of things
connected to it and even if you able to receive those promotional emails then if you are really that serious on quitting or stopping then you would simply just ignore and wont tend to read it but if you do
the opposite thing then you are the ones who do have the problem and not theirs even though there are some lapses but it is really your mistake honestly.
2059  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 01, 2022, 07:22:28 PM
Too bad to see how devastating if the FUDs hit the market before but for now, people are actually had learned already and they become more hesitant upon hearing them. We are still surrounded by these things, fake news, and market manipulations but to look at how they respond to this, they remain calm and that is how to see the market never went down too fast, instead it stays calm and still healthy.

It is really possible to have recoveries this month, not that strong but I feel it.

What do you guys think about it?
FUD's, Fomo's etc. would be always present on a market something like this on which you shouldnt exclude it up on your mind that they wouldnt really be making out any effects on the market which is really that something that you could bare in mind.

It doesnt mean though that they do always affect the market but even on a calm,no news like kind of day would really be always having that tendency on dropping the price just like when there's some
major bad news on which you would really boggle up your mind on whats happening.
2060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to be investing in Bitcoin? on: February 28, 2022, 11:56:11 PM
Bitcoin prices are relatively low at present. If you want to invest, you can. If you want to invest short time, you have to buy only when the price is a little lower. Then you can sell it if the price goes up a little. And if you want to invest long time, then you have to buy and keep. The price of Bitcoin will certainly increase substantially. So I would say if you want to invest your longtime you can buy and invest at the present time.
But the question is, how you would consider if the price is on the bottom already? Now on the current or recent movements it is really hard to tell since it do move out sideways plus we do make out some presumption

specially on external events or fundamentals around which might or might not able to affect crypto market which its unavoidable for us to consider if it would really be having that significant influence or not.

Good time will be basically depending on your own set of goals whether you do go for long term or short term ones.
