2041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: News related to crypto on: February 13, 2018, 11:09:08 PM
I've been using cointelegraph to check out news and it seems that they are fair when it comes to publishing out the entire news.
You can also try out cnbc crypto https://www.facebook.com/cnbccrypto/ / https://www.cnbc.com/cryptocurrency/
Stay away from forbes, it's a paid shill.
2042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your crypto? on: February 13, 2018, 11:03:16 PM
I mostly mine and hodl, but my friend day trades and says I should start getting into it. What do you prefer to do and do you think there is a better route to take? I personally think it's all up to personal preference,
I hold and trade. Don't day trade just because your friend told you so but you can also try it out but if you don't have enough time to day trade, you can buy and hold then sell just like what you do with bitcoin.

I'm new though.
If you're new how come you did ending up you mine bitcoin? Newbies that entered to mining without proper knowledge and isn't aware of the risk they are taking will end up selling their rigs.

2044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we reached the bottom? on: February 10, 2018, 08:17:23 AM
I think yes, and I also think we will be in a bear market for a month or so
I think that we already reached the bottom too. The bear market has not yet done? The whole month of January we are into that market. But who knows if that bear will here to stay but as I'm checking the price there's already a good sign that we need to be ready for a bull market very soon.
2045  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How To Convert Bitcoin To Hard Cash on: February 10, 2018, 08:04:14 AM
Hi, Whats the best way to convert Bitcoin into real money
In what country you live? I'm sure that there are exchanges in certain countries who are recognizing bitcoin.
As  i from South Asian countries  where Bitcoin is banned and illegal
I'm sure that South Asian countries doesn't have any problem with bitcoin so most of them treats it as legal entity.
Than whats the best and effective way to cash my bitcoin into real money ?
You can use localbitcoins and trade there.
2046  Economy / Economics / Re: It is not yet over as bitcoin heading toward $4,500! on: February 10, 2018, 07:43:41 AM
I don't think it would stay at $4,500 for long as many people would buy at such a price
They should learn that not everything they are asking can be into reality. We are asking for bitcoin and hoping to reach the price at $20,000 but it didn't happen for the meantime. And now what are these people are asking a lower price? Aren't they happy that it's on $9,000 and this is a better price as the fees are very low and it's a stable price IMHO.
2047  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is recovering? on: February 10, 2018, 07:29:15 AM
Interesting that it's near 9k now. Some predicting another small dip before the moonrise. Either way we have some good buying opportunities on our hands.
With those people who are predicting for another dip. Aren't they satisfied that we've been through a big dip this early? But if that is possible to happen high price of bitcoin can be seen for a long time and many weak hands will let go of their holdings soon. And for now it's a good chart to see bitcoin landing back at $9,000, next stop $10,000.
2048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin alternatives in 2018 on: February 10, 2018, 06:42:09 AM
I wouldn't consider Ripple as an alternative to bitcoin. If it is for the lower fees, bitcoin has changed to low fees now but if someone is still not satisfied with it better choose Ethereum or Litecoin.
I won't choose XVG too because it's more of a hype coin.
2049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening with ripple? on: February 09, 2018, 11:33:40 AM
I am so excited about ripple but now unfortunately its down trend amazed me..!
What can you expect to a centralized coin? Manipulation.
Do you guys know anything about ripple why its going down as the other's are keep going up i believe in their project but just today m so curious about its chart on trading platform...
Many are selling it and the co-owner of it doesn't care about it's investors because he only cares about his profit so he's one of the richest person in the world now.
2050  Economy / Speculation / Re: it's a right time to buy bitcoin or not??? on: February 09, 2018, 11:20:35 AM
i rather buy eth tbh
Seriously? ETH's ATH is only $1,300 and it went down to $700 while bitcoin's ATH is $20,000 and down to $6,000 so what coin does have a better increase? But if that's your opinion and you are honestly saying that you would rather invest to ETH than bitcoin, it's your choice.
2051  Economy / Speculation / Re: One last dip before moon? on: February 09, 2018, 10:50:38 AM
this last dip gonna going to be "deep"
i predict $4k maybe $3.500
I'm not thinking this way. $3,500 - $4,000 seems to be low and $6,000 is the final blow for this dip and that shall be the deep.
expect the unexpected
What do you mean expect the unexpected? We are going to the moon now?
I think all incidents are finished and bitcoin is raising when it will reach min. 20k.
We can't tell, it's too early to tell this thing.
2052  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin price drop so fast? on: February 09, 2018, 09:29:53 AM
Why the bitcoin price can drop so fast without any omen? Its trend like the classic bubble wave...
]
Call it what you want to call it but bitcoin is not a bubble. Everything that goes the results is due to the demand is going down and there are too many panic sellers that are coming out from their caves so that is making bitcoin's price drop so fast.
2053  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin bubble by Goldman Sachs on: February 09, 2018, 12:45:56 AM
Don't believe the shit Goldman Sachs says and stop spreading FUD!
When he says encouragement about bitcoin, I'm believing with his words but now he's like someone who's not to be trusted anymore. Maybe next time he'll say that when bitcoin is pumping he will start apoligizing for his wrong analysis and term used for bitcoin.
2054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's effect Facebook banned will have on ICOs today on: February 08, 2018, 05:28:53 PM
Facebook is considered as first social media platform right now
It's not the first social media platform right now. It's the most popular but it's not considered as the first social media platform. And whether they ban ICO's advertisement they really doesn't care about it because there are other ways to advertise and not only through them.
2055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: February 08, 2018, 05:16:04 PM
So tell me, why are you selling your altscoins so soon?
I'm selling when I'm ready to release it and ready to take the profit. But I know that not all the people are the same when it comes to selling, there are weak handlers who are forced to sell because they are scared to see a very quick price fall of cryptocurrencies mainly with bitcoin and followed by ETH.
2056  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought at 19k, now what? on: February 08, 2018, 03:59:29 PM
Are you not trolling? Can you show the TXID that you really have bought 3 bitcoin while it was $19,000. Since hashes can be seen on when you have bought it.

Not if he has it lying on an exchange which is very likely if new is new to crypto :-)
He can even show a screenshot or what but anonymity in cryptocurrency will be ignored if someone will show on how much he had in cryptocurrencies so he can ignore my question.

HODL. Hope you have strong hands.
I hope he has. There's still a long way for him to see his investment grow back on what it used to be. This is terrible for someone who has been an enthusiast to cryptocurrency and suddenly this has happened. Lack of knowledge and lack of people who will give him an advice can make him sell immediately.
2057  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought at 19k, now what? on: February 07, 2018, 05:26:35 PM
I bought 3 btc on credit for 19k about. What should I do? I am way underwater.
Are you not trolling? Can you show the TXID that you really have bought 3 bitcoin while it was $19,000. Since hashes can be seen on when you have bought it. But if that's for real, there's nothing you need to do but to wait for the price of bitcoin to reach back $19,000+. There's still a long way to see that so relax for now and go outside, take some fresh air or have some fun with your peers.
2058  Economy / Economics / Re: buy high and sell low. or hold which one is it? on: February 07, 2018, 04:58:46 PM
after this major price correction. i want to see what are your ideas on this. lets say you bought bitcoin 2 years ago. you notice prices were high at 19,000$ should u sell or continue to hold?
I choose to sell, you got profit by holding for two years and what possibly be the price of bitcoin way back then $500? $600? $1000? So if you choose to sell $19,000 its a nice profit.
what are your thoughts after this huge correction?
Which this correction, its really a huge one and its hard to tell well it can recover.
it is probably too late to sell after holding since the 19000$ correction.
There's still profit if you held for 2 years.
