Cool project, Jack. Please see PM. I'd like to place an order and see one in person.
You won't be disappointed, I was very pleased with the construction of my item and am contemplating another. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I'm going to be loading up some black filament this week and it will be one of the first things I print. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) For the shipping, I'll look into it this week since the item isn't as small as a coin but there will be a very low declared value. I would estimate between $2 - 7 more than the original price for intl. shipping and I'll PM you about the arrangements when ready.

Nice artwork, I have placed an order. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) wheres the 1oz silver on this?
I believe it's the same as the previous Signature Series, per the website: "Giclee print on museum quality archival card stock, polished stainless steel enclosure, tempered glass, one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, tamper-evident hologram, display easel, torx screwdriver"

Nice one! I need to get back on my printer, totally neglected it.
The Ethereum Capsule looks intriguing, it has a ETH wallet QR code inside it?
Thanks and let me know what you end up printing! I do have an Ethereum wallet QR public/private key combo laser printed which I've placed inside and sealed each one with a piece of thick clear plastic. I tested it and they scan with my phone camera. To do the clear plastic seal I cut a piece of plastic packaging that I received for a RAM stick and trimmed it slowly until you would need a razor to pry it out. It took me around 10 minutes to do the QR code plastic itself since I fit the QR paper and slowly trimmed the clear plastic until it fit perfectly. I would not be providing that service or the clear plastic pieces since I can't guarantee the supply. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Congratulations of opening up your own service/sale of various custom good. I'll be keeping a close eye on this, hence the post. Good luck with your endeavor.
Actually, I've suggested that particular design to digicoinuser the day that someone linked it in the coin-collectors chatroom [1]. It looks amazing, and it would likely be even better in the original color (IMO). This capsule is probably a Bitcoin variant IIRC, but you could probably add any kind of QR code if you've wanted to. I guess with more interest, the average price could be lower @digicoinuser?
Thanks for the kind words, you did suggest the Ethereum capsule and it was quite an easy design to replicate. I could design any QR code capsule of any shape requested, the pricing for the design time would be based around how complex the item is. I would estimate the creation of the Ethereum capsule at ~$125 (design time and test filament) and the client would have exclusive rights to the design unless explicitly defined otherwise. There could be a community/public item if funded by the community or a company logo where they wish to retain the file for themselves. In this situation I designed the Ethereum capsule and am offering it here, but do not have the file posted anywhere publicly for download. If there is a lot of interest for an item I've already designed or it's publicly available on thingiverse, pricing will definitely be lower per unit if I can print more than one of them at a time. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I'd like to buy one ETH capsule too. Looks awesome!
Much appreciated, that capsule is printed in silver and I will most likely test printing one in black. Those can both be similarly created or printed as-is. The Bitcoin bling necklace is pretty sweet although I'd advise against placing coins on a heated build plate that ranges from 60c to 110c. It would be easy to design and I wouldn't be against doing something like that for some cheaper value coins! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I have the ability to come up with a fresh new design for the necklace which would allow press fitting of the coins also. The coaster you linked to is nice as well and I'd recommend priming, painting, and sealing the coaster with clear coat for post processing.

Up for auction is a nice set of 5 Bitcoin pennies in air-tites, four from 2015 and one from 2016 with hologram. They do not normally come in air-tites and an uncatalogued doodle is also included with this auction. There was a little more than 100 hologram style pennies made and the back of the doodle will not be shown unless the winner wants it revealed. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Starting bid: 0.02BTC Bid increments: 0.005BTC Shipping US: FREE Shipping not US: 0.005BTC Sniping is allowed, a bid in the final minute will extend the auction by 10 minutes. After that, another bid will extend it again and it will end when 10 minutes has passed without a bid or an hour of extensions. Ends: Nov 11th, 2016 @ 7:00:00 PM PDT ( http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/usa/los-angeles)

Status: AVAILABLE
Below is an image of some items I've printed and the different colors I have available. To do something different, I'm going to try offering printing/design services on the forum. If you have an idea for an item that you want to become physical reality, there is a large possibility I can design the part(s) and create the assembly in a 3D printed fashion providing the 3D printed item(s) and/or final .STL files. It's great for prototyping and offering this service ensures you don't have to possess the CAD skills, 3D printing experience/equipment, or machinery maintenance knowledge. You get to "design" the item, choose the color, sizing, and quantity - while functioning as a client and receiving status updates throughout the process. You can choose to have something custom designed or you can find something from thingiverse.com that is already available. I'm not sure of the price structure yet for custom work, but it will have to be broken down depending on if the item(s) requires CAD time and how many prototypes have to be created. Most models/parts don't require more than one print, but complex assemblies with mating parts and some models from thingiverse don't play well with the slicer (3D printing software). I'm currently using Simplify3D which is an extremely well tuned piece of software that rarely has an issue. The filament (ABS plastic) has a cost but it's quite minimal unless you want a large item printed in multiple quantities. The printing will be done in one chosen color (your choice) since the machine is the most reliable that way and multi-color prints currently require special .STL files until newer software is available. My machine has the capability to do dual color prints and I may offer this service in the future. The printed part(s) can be post-processed using sanding, painting, and various other methods. I will be offering optional full sanding services as an extra for post-processing and you can paint/seal the item with any method that's out there. You can rest assured that your idea/design will be safe and won't be posted or shared anywhere without your explicit permission. I'll be operating on the premise that everyones custom design is private unless otherwise specified. If you have any question about the process, pricing, or color availability, please feel free to PM me or post on this thread. Sample Cryptocurrency & Custom designed models
I custom designed the Bitcoin Toast stamp (~3.9in square) and Ethereum Capsule (~4.25in tall assembly) in CAD based off images I saw that other individuals posted on the internet. The Bitcoin logo stand was downloaded from thingiverse. Printer information
My printer is an upgraded MakerBot Replicator 2X Clone. It's finely tuned and can churn out long or complex prints that may take the whole spool of filament. The maximum size that I can print is 9in W x 6in D x 6in H and my printers maximum resolution is 0.1mm (very fine detail). The prints come out much better than most other 3D printed items you see on the internet because I have machine knowledge which allows me to tune the settings for greater output quality. During the process there may be bumps in the road (required maintenance) for which I expect to overcome each one in a timely and effective manner. I'm operating one printer at the moment so I can only guarantee/take on so much work at a time and will strive to keep this thread updated with my status at the top. 3D Printing general information
3D printing takes time dependent on how large the item is. Small items can be printed in a matter of minutes/hours, while larger items can take multiple hours or even days. On thingiverse, there are a few models which aren't really meant to be printed and may not be printer friendly for the 3D Printing I do, FDM (fused deposition modeling). If you select one of these models for printing I will let you know it isn't something my printer can support. As you can see from the Terminator skull (has removable CPU housing!) in the sample image, intricate designs are possible while preserving detail and this shouldn't dissuade you from selecting something intricate. Some items require support structure to be built with the part and this can leave a "mark" where the support is touching the part. Usually the support is from below and allows the part to build effectively in mid-air, it can be sanded or painted afterwards to post-process these "marks" out. I utilize ABS filament for printing as it holds up really well to UV rays and high temperatures/heat. On occasion, ABS warps a minor amount near some of the edges but this usually doesn't affect assembly and is also corrected via post-processing. Pricing
For extremely large prints, filament payment will be required up front. Final pricing TBD based on initial requests. Thigiverse items will be printed at near the cost of filament and there will not be a large premium on the custom design service or printer time. In the "Sample Cryptocurrency" image above, the Bitcoin Toast Symbol would be approximately $8 shipped, the Ethereum Capsule $18 shipped, and the Bitcoin Stand logo $8 shipped - all US shipping quotes. International shipping will have to be quoted based on destination. Special packaging may be required for certain printed parts if they have delicate features. I will update this post with further information once I iron out all the details and pricing. Thanks for checking it out and find something you like on http://www.thingiverse.com! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Agreed, it is very easy to misspell and I can see how the error came about.
Was there specific denominations that came with the error hologram or is it possible on all the 2011 coins?
|
|
|
that one's not an error. despite the blur you can clearly tell 'cascascius' is printed on the hologram, not 'casacius'.
I believe the correct spelling on the non-error coins is casascius - https://www.casascius.com/. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I pay a couple dollars for 8ml of vape flavoring but I had no idea these are selling for $50/5ml until visiting the site.
I'm not very knowledgeable on terpenes, is there a specific reason for the large price increase over regular food grade vape flavoring?

Thanks and yes, they were both #6. The address of the winning coin was: 1G8LrYPwYGs2Mr21GztV1FMERnxs25T2MYI will have to look up the 0.05 BTC Gold address later. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
