2081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People are not only gambling to win but they are buying entertainment on: July 12, 2022, 06:46:11 PM
Gambling is an entertaining activity and shouldn't be seen as a source of income or as a way to make money because it is not. Some people prefer to spend money on trips, shopping or any other entertaining activity while some other people prefer to spend it on casinos or gambling online. It gives them the same level of satisfaction.
However, if you are going to gamble you need to have a plan and know how much you are willing to spend beforehand and when to quit otherwise what was supposed to be an entertaining activity will become a source of anxiety and frustration when you start losing more money than you have planned.
2082  Economy / Gambling / Re: Macaw.casino ⚡ Powered by the lightning network ⚡ Instant withdrawals ⚡ No KYC on: July 12, 2022, 06:12:44 PM
Pros:
1. Using Cloudflare for DNS/Security.
Personally, I consider this a con not a pro especially for privacy-oriented casino such as Macaw.casino which do not request kyc and planning to allow users to play without registration. No question that CloudFlare is good when it comes to DDos protection and such but it's definitely not good for users' privacy.

...
Yes, but I wonder why other casino sites do not integrate a lightning network in their sites because of its faster transaction speed with no/less fee. Maybe there are more technicalities involved in integration or it is not yet popular among the gambling houses. Macaw.casino will set the trend I guess.  Smiley
You are right. Unfortunately, the lightning network is still not that popular especially among gamblers and there is not much demand on it. This is basically why most casinos and crypto-services didn't add it as a payment system although it could solve many issues related to fees and the speed of transactions confirmation. Hopefully, more businesses will realize the importance of LN and will follow the lead of Macaw.casino.

2085  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which crypto sportbooks are VPN friendly on: July 09, 2022, 10:53:37 PM
If, in our country, gambling is prohibited, we should not violate it because it could get us in trouble one day. But even though we know that gambling is prohibited in our country, we still gamble and many of us even use VPNs to access gambling. This can cause problems for us later but hopefully, it doesn't happen to us.
By using a good and reliable VPN you should be safe. Most governments don't have sufficient resources to track all their citizens' online activities.
The problem in the case you presented is not the government but the gambling website itself. Most casinos, especially regulated ones, ban users from countries where gambling is prohibited. So if they detect you are from one of those countries and you are using a VPN then they will ban your account.
2086  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportbet.io lock my account. I cant play game or withdrawal on: July 09, 2022, 09:07:03 PM
PS: I'm not supporting Sportsbet here, but you might need to provide valid proofs enough for users here to be convinced that you're not guilty of the accusation,
Please forgive my ignorance but how can he prove he is innocent and doesn't have other accounts and what evidences can be considered valid proofs.
If he has other accounts then he certainly will not admit it and if he doesn't there is no way he can prove it.
The casino accused him of multi-accounting so it's them who have to prove it. I doubt they will do that (mainly for privacy reasons and to not expose how their cheat detection system works).
2087  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for perfect slot base casino on: July 09, 2022, 07:27:35 PM
There are already five pages of replies and OP replied twice (if am not mistaken) but we still don't know what he is looking for exactly and what's so special about a casino offering only slot games!
It's clear from the comments above that such casino does not exist or all members who have replied are not aware of their existence.
but some of the few i have seen have great features and loads of benefits most especially for players with high rank accounts. So am thinking if one can find new casinos that offer such services.
Can you name few of them and what benefits they do offer so we have a better idea on what you are looking for?
2088  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blizz.io - Crypto casino - 100% Up to 1btc on: July 09, 2022, 06:47:04 PM
Guys, I Done asked directly on their live support.
...

I dont really understand why support said that he want to add your balance back without bonus...
Same here! Unless am messing something otherwise the support agent answer doesn't make any sense (at least to me). What do they mean by "the wagering amount increased because of playing restricted games"! The wagering requirement is not supposed to change. If there are restricted games then they can either not allow him to play those games with bonus funds or not count those bets toward the wagered amount.
I hope OP will respond here and explain more what happened.
2089  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin security tips for beginners on: July 09, 2022, 05:38:33 PM
4. Make Use of Hardware Wallet: The most secure way to store your Bitcoin is in a hardware wallet.
Personally, I believe setting up a cold wallet on a secure airgapped device is safer than using a hardware wallet. Some may even argue that paper wallets are safer.. The advantage of hardware wallets is they are easier to use and they are more convenient for daily usage.

2. Don’t save your recovery seed digitally: Keep your 12-word secret recovery phrase off any digital storage. Everything that is online as you may well know is  vulnerable to hackers.
Saving your wallet seed or wallet file digitally doesn't mean it has to be online. You can save them on a USB or airgapped device which has never been and will never be connected to the Internet or to any other network. A digital backup of your wallet is not a bad idea as long as you know what to do to keep it safe.
2090  Economy / Gambling / Re: Maverick Games 🚀 Daily Airdrops 🔥 1.5 BTC Deposit Bonus | Licensed & Regulated on: July 09, 2022, 01:41:13 PM
I can see there are 2 active airdrops this week , the first is that users who make deposits this week will get a bonus 0.3mbtc
The last one is 0.1 mbtc bonus for all casino players this week
They seem very generous with bonuses and airdrops! Other than those two airdrops, they also have a daily bonus for those who place a bet on a particular game. That's awesome!
BTW, congratulations on winning the casino race (twice). If you don't mind, how much did you have to wager to win the wagering competition? I assume there are no whales yet at the MaverickGames casino, right?
2091  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡️⚡️Betplay.io - Lightning Network Casino - INSTANT & ZERO FEE Payments ⚡️⚡️ on: July 08, 2022, 11:50:49 PM
Thank you BetPlay for the quick response  and your willingness to help, I highly appreciate it.
Actually, I managed to create an account and log in. Not sure what caused the problem in first place but what I did to solve it is just Resetting the password after I got the "The provided e-mail is already registered, try to log in" error message.

As Wiwo pointed out above, making multiple posts in a row is against forum rules. You can quote as many comments as you want and respond to each one of them in a single post.
2092  Economy / Gambling / Re: NEW Flush.com Crypto Casino - ♠️ $BTC ♦️ $ETH ♣️ $DOGE ♥️ $LTC on: July 08, 2022, 11:15:47 PM

Not sure what they are working on behind the scenes, but if they are only working on implementing new features and making some improvements then there is nothing wrong if they keep promoting their casino at the same time.
But if they suspect the platform is not secure or not yet ready to accept players, then better shut it down till they finish working on it then they can start promoting again (not saying this is the case with flush.com, though).
2093  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which crypto sportbooks are VPN friendly on: July 08, 2022, 10:33:04 PM
I don't see much difference between paid and free VPN. As for the best speed, maybe it is, but for me personally it is not critical, and the free one gives me the speed I need.
...
Whatever the devs of these paid VPNs promise, I think they are all somehow controlled by the competent supervisory authorities in each country.
I beg to differ. I'll start with the last point. The devs or companies behind those paid VPNs are the same behind the free ones. They usually offer two versions (paid and free or trial). So if you are not going to trust paid VPNs the you definitely should not trust the free versions.
Secondly, free versions have limited or lack some features such as limited data and slow connection which you will notice when streaming or downloading huge files. But most importantly, free VPNs do not provide dedicated IPs so your will share the same IP with multiple users which may result in many problems.
2094  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did I just messed up? on: July 08, 2022, 08:57:06 PM
What wallet are you using and where did you download it from?
A JSON file or keystore is just another way to backup your wallet and many wallet apps support this format (blockchain.com, mew, metamask..). The keystore is nothing but your wallet keys encrypted with your password. You can use it to restore your wallet anytime as long as you have the password to decrypt it.

The most important thing now is to be sure the wallet you are using is legit and you downloaded it from its official website.
2095  Economy / Gambling / Re: |HexaBet.GG| New Jackpot Gambling Website launching TODAY (1ST JULY) at 5PM UTC! on: July 08, 2022, 08:28:29 PM
Ops have abandoned the thread, maybe there busy building their casinos if truly they lunch on 1st of July.
They did indeed launch the website on the first of July as announced but, apparently, they found some bugs in the payment system (sent funds to the wrong user as I understood from the discussion on Discord) so they took down the website and put it on maintenance mode till they figure out what happened and fix it.
Maybe this is the reason why they aren't active here but, tbh, this is not an acceptable excuse. Logging in and posting an update won't take more than two minutes.
2096  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake making new accounts is too easy on: July 08, 2022, 05:19:26 PM
So what do you suggest OP, what do you think they can do to stop you from creating new accounts without affecting other players/users?
In order to detect any new account you create, they will either have to close registration for new users (which is out of question) or they will have to enforce kyc and ask every new user to verify his identity which most users won't like and we will see many complaints. And even then, am sure you will find a way to get around such restrictions.
A friendly advice, try talking with your family or close friends about your gambling problems, they may help you.
2097  Economy / Gambling / Re: What makes you hide your bets in public? on: July 08, 2022, 04:10:41 PM
Most crypto users value their privacy, therefore, hiding usernames and bets details on crypto casinos is supposed to be the default setting not the other way around.
Personally, I have the same username on almost all casinos, so being able to hide it is very important to me just in case someone is tracking me (regardless of whether he has malicious intents or he is just a curious person).
2098  Economy / Gambling / Re: |HexaBet.GG| New Jackpot Gambling Website launching TODAY (1ST JULY) at 5PM UTC! on: July 07, 2022, 11:59:05 PM
Don't know what happened but the website is on maintenance mode right now. It seems they are having some technical issues and they are trying to solve them. I couldn't find much about what happened exactly on their Twitter page.
Anyway, OP didn't post any update here since he created this pre-announcement thread and the other thread which got trashed and he didn't log in for almost a week! This doesn't look good.
2099  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: July 07, 2022, 11:30:53 PM
Hmm, that's weird. Do you actually have a balance on Blackjack.fun or is your account empty when you are entering those amounts? I can't access the withdrawal page at all, probably because I haven't deposited to my account at all. I assume yours isn't since you can see the withdrawal page.

I will ask the question regarding the minimum withdrawal amounts in their ANN thread and see what's going on.
Sorry for replying to an old post, but I recently got the chance to test this out.
I made few withdrawal requests with different amounts and the minimum amount I could withdraw was 0.0003 btc or about $6 (at the moment of making the request). Since choosing 0.0003 particularly doesn't make much sense, I think it's better to assume the minimum amount is $5 (but let's wait for an official response from the admin).
The withdrawal fee depends on the network status, indeed, but I noticed that the fee estimator is not quite accurate (not a big deal though since it's just a matter of few sats).
2100  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: July 07, 2022, 10:33:37 PM
if gambling is taken as a means to meet daily life needs that will result in unstable life since gambling depends on luck and the house will always make you lose so such high-risk ventures as gambling shouldn't be taken as a passive source of income.
Exactly. You can get lucky and make some profit from time to time or get extremely lucky and hit the jackpot, but this happens only once or twice in a lifetime, if it will ever happen. But gambling must never be considered as a source of income because it's not and statistically, the majority of gamblers will lose more than what they are going to earn on the long run. This is how casinos make profit.

There are many answers that could be responsible for that, some don't like getting involved in unnecessary things or conversations so they will prefer going private with their casino games just to whine away time
Well, I don't quite agree with this. There are many activities one can practice if they just want to stay alone and isolated like playing video games.. They can even play casino games just for fun on demo mode without risking their money. It's just there is something with losing money which make gamblers want to play more!
