CoinSlotty Review (Group C)
In this review, I'll share my experience with
CoinSlotty casino from the moment I created my account till the moment I made a withdrawal request. (
it will be slightly different from the exemple provided in OP as I'll mention what I liked/didn't like and my notes and suggestions for each step individually. )
Registration:The registration process was straightforward. All I had to do is to provide an email address, nickname, password and
choose a currency. I have no idea why the latter is required, though.
Notes: although the registration form will inform you when you enter an invalid email, I found out by chance that it's possible to register with an email like this
xxx@xxx.x the
shortest TLD is two chars long so this is not a valid email address and shouldn't be accepted.
Another thing I noticed is when trying to reset your password, the system will not notify you if you provide an unregistered email address.
Both of the above aren't big issues but can easily be fixed too. So I thought it's worth mentioning.
What I didn't like: Not mentioning that you only support USDT on the Ethereum network. If I had known this, i would never have chosen it as the default currency.
You should add (erc20) next to USDTLogging in - First Impression:The website design is simple but nice. It's easy to navigate through its different pages which load up pretty fast and everything is where it's supposed to be. I liked the dark mode.
suggestions:-When minimizing the side bar menu, only the icons remain visible but it's hard to figure out what each of them stands for, especially for new users. I suggest adding a tooltip texts which appear whenever you hover over one of those icons.
- on some pages there is nothing but text (white on black) which is a bit boring. I suggest adding some colors to make those pages look more vivid.
the website is a bit slower especially the main page. Some times it takes more than ten seconds to load! Games load pretty fast though!
suggestions: - as for the side bar menu on desktop, the bottom menu on mobile needs some improvements maybe like adding colors to the icons.
- minimize the top banners size, at least in height.
- the balances in crypto and usd are aligned to the right, it would look better if you change it to left.
- use only one denemonation for BTC or let the user choose which one he prefers and apply it everywhere.
Phone Verification:After registration and getting familiarized with the platform, the first thing I did was to verify my phone number and claim the 10 FS.
Maybe I didn't notice it, but I don't think I saw any notification that you can get 10 FS if you verify your phone number!
Anyway, I went to my
Account and on the
Promo page I found the option to verify my phone. Few seconds after providing my number, I received a 6 digit verification code. I entered it and it got validated. I didn't realize I received the 10 FS until I noticed I had a new notification which informed me, when I opened it, that I received the 10 FS and for which game.
Note: the bonus will remain available for 7 days and after you claim it it will be valid for 7 days. After claiming it, you will need to finish the wagering requirement (x50) within 1 month.
suggestions:- add another banner on the top to inform users about this bonus.
- it's understandable why this feature appears on the promo page, but I believe it should be available under the
Verification tab on the
Profile page.
- do not delete the read notifications. It's better if they remain there but grayed out for ease of access instead of this:
I was trying to find for which game I won the 10 fs, but I couldn't find any trace of it!
I
won $0.26 from those 10 free spins:
But never lose hope as those two cents magically became more than $30!
Deposits:The most noticeable button on the websit is the
Deposit button, so I clicked on it
I chose USDT
erc-20 as the default currency when signing up (which was a mistake as I explained earlier). So I was given an ETH address with an option to add another coin which I immediately did. I added BTC.
I was given a btc address starting with 3! Most services use native segwit addresses now. You can either copy the address or scan its qr code.
Anyway, I sent ~$5 worth of bitcoin and it got credited to my account as soon as I broadcast it even without being confirmed.
That's what I call an instant deposit! I noticed that every time you add a new coin it becomes the default one.
suggestions:- switch to native segwit addresses (this might not be possible though as you use a third party payment processor!)
- support more coins.
-
I think it's better to add logos of the available coins and choose from them instead of the drop-down list. Also better use mBTC or BTC instead of μBTC. I also believe
cryptocurrency or
coin is more appropriate than
method.
what I didn't like: not supporting USDT on other blockchains.
Games:I played CS dice and different dlot games by different providers:
:
- it was a bit slow to load in the first time I opened it.
- nice animation. You won't get bored even if you keep playing it for hours.
- clicking the max bet button will set the bet amount to $20 even if your balance is lower than that!
- not sure if it's provably fair but I couldn't find how to verify the results by myself!
-
what I didn't like: high house edge.
- a wide variety of provider, I counted 77!!
- most games load pretty fast.
Notes:- in games from specific providers such as RealPlayer, you need to provide your country!
- opening games from specific providers shows "something went wrong" message. I suppose this is due to geo restriction specific to the game provider.
- there is an advantage in choosing the
active currency: if you choose USD, the min bet amount is usually $0.2 but if you choose BTC it will be the equivalent of $0.1 in btc. This may help in completing the wagering requirement and extending your session
Suggestions:- When you start a game you can see the name of the provider and the volatility. It would be great to display the RTP too.
-
On the desktop version, logically, the search field need to be under
Slots not above it since you will be searching for slots not something else on the website.
- since the list of providers is too long, it would be great to add a search tool for them too and add checkboxes next to them to hide/show their games.
After playing for a while, it was time to withdraw my winnings (~$20)!
Withdrawals and my experience with customer support:The first thing I noticed is that, unlike the deposit page, accessing the withdraw page isn't that evident and requires few more clicks especially on mobile.
You need to go to:
Profile->Profile->Hamburger menu->Wallet->Withdrawal!
I made few withdrawal requests and every time I get an error message (unfortunately I didn't make a screenshot and don't remember the message content). I contacted the customer support and the problem got resolved by itself!
My request remained on pending for a while till I figured out I have to click on the confirmation link sent to my email address!
What's confusing is that I received to emails when I made the withdrawal request. The first one didn't mention anything about confirmation.
First one:
Second one:
Few hours later, I received this one informing me that my withdrawal request was rejected and explaining why (although the wording is a bit strange!):
Unfortunately, I messed around with
Responsible Gambling limits setting and I have to wait 24 hours before I can complete the wagering requirement (need to wager $1 more) and make a new request.
Despite all of this, what I really liked is that there is no withdrawal fees!!
...
During this process, I contacted the customer support few times. I was hoping to be able to talk with the support agent in French or Arabic but both languages weren't supported. But to be honest, the customer agent responded in no time and answered all my questions. During my conversation with the agent I realized there is no option to track how much you have wagered and how much you still need to wager to complete the wagering requirement and you have to contact the support to provide you with this information!
Suggestions:- add a link to the wallet (withdrawal) next to balance on the top of the page.
- add max button in case someone wants to withdraw all his balance.
- add the possibility to white-list addresses for extra security.
what I didn't like:- processing all requests manually.
- not requesting 2fa code when making a withdrawal although 2fa is activated.
- add a tickets system
- add an option to rate the agent (like from 0 to 5) instead of the like/dislike buttons.
Overall assessement:Overall my experience with
CoinSlotty was satisfactory and I didn't face any major issue with it from sign up to withdrawal, except the rejected withdrawal which was partially my fault, I would rate it 4/5. Although It's a new casino, they are doing a good job. There is definitely still room for improvement and a few minor tweaks here and there are needed.
