2081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS has poor community on: September 16, 2018, 03:10:08 PM
This is not true, I think that the EOS project is probably one of the most remarkable projects of recent times. Yes this project has a lot of nuances that today have very big mistakes, but all the same it started working not so long ago.
But we are talking about the community here not about the project, how can a project be remarkable if the community is not strong enough it's like you are having a really good idea that just seems so awesome but can't be realized anyway.
none of the community will use the smart contract so whats the actual use of creating the platform.
2082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favourite coin so far on: September 16, 2018, 03:03:55 PM
My favourite coin so far is ETH. I like how the ETH smart contract work.
if you like it because of the smart contract then I think you will like EOS waves, and many smart contract platform aswell since they are basically the same thing with different name. i dont know why people keep on creating the same thing over and over even if it already exist but those are maybe that type of coin you like.
2083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can cryptocurrency succeed? on: September 16, 2018, 03:02:16 PM
It depends on what you mean by success, if  you are yearning for more adoption and a better market, it may take some time but it sure is possible . Positivity
mass adoption is difficult if cryptocurrency keeps on having unstable value, it has been stated repeatedly since long time ago that the only thing that holding back  mass adoption is the volatility that somehow making it difficult to save value
and the volatility could be a threat to a company economy.
2084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN vs ETH ? Your thoughts? on: September 16, 2018, 06:24:22 AM
The Are both really good coins and they both have their days, i wont say one is superior to the other because the both have something unique to offer, bitcoin is the the King, the first ever coin while Ethereum is the future but for now is not as stable as bitcoin
and sometimes bitcoin is not as stable as ethereum, just be real that each coin have its own volatile time that the price of the coin could drastially change within period amount of time.
however bitcoin is far from word stable and the same thing goes to ethereum I guess.
2085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this year will be bad year for ICOS? on: September 16, 2018, 06:19:05 AM
Do you have any good reason to believe that the ICO market is going to grow this year?

It is now almost September and the truth is that no ICO is as successful as last year. I think this year is really bad for ICOs.
it is because the bearish markaet, the whole market just too hard to keep up especially those ICO that have a new coin that's not yet stabilise they are really struggling with the current market circumstance.
it's as many people stated that most of the project can't survive, it's like natural selection
2086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO VS ETH on: September 15, 2018, 06:26:04 AM
NEO and ETH will take their places in cryptocurrency, NEO will take Asia Chinese market, ETH will take Western market

Both of them are designed to be borderless and decentralized, there's no limitation geographically so why you should think that each of them will have its own market based on geographic?
that's not true to be honest, both of them could compete worldwide and that will be a normal thing. Competition is always good and there's no need to differ each of them geographically.
2087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the reasons behind banning cryptos? on: September 15, 2018, 06:14:36 AM
Some countries have already banned cryptos. But i am not sure behind the reasons. Could you please share your thoughts on the reasons of banning cryptos?
Regards

A country may not be too fond of crypto currencies or they may be afraid of being replaced by crypto currencies, therefore they prefer banned bitcoin rather than approve it. Because every country must have a different view.
Government generally never prefer a decentralized things that they couldnt control. They just want an absolute control over financial and economy so that they can intervene if something happen whether it's for a good or bad intention
moreover, they are afraid that crypto could cause instability to their economy so I think that really makes sense considering that a country need to stabilize the economy
2088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins kept in exchange, are they safe? on: September 15, 2018, 06:06:36 AM
Nothing is safe in my own opinion, the only thing i might consider an exchange is because if they get hacked, they normally refunded the people that are affected, but notwithstanding, storing your coins in the wallet you have the private seems to be the best, exchanges might delist the coin, or implement policy that might trap your coins in their exchange.
But I've seen plenty of exchanges that got hacked only offer refund for few percent, for example %40 of the total funds the client have it's happened a year ago if Im not mistaken and it's really dangerous considering that the security of the exchange really depend on the developer not
the client, refunding only a half of amount will definitely make the client losing money and put the client in an uncomfortable position while actually the exchange should have all the responsibility.
2089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why Ethereum will never hit zero according to Vitalik Buterin on: September 15, 2018, 05:42:12 AM
Vitalik himself was a former Bitcoin developer and he will always have some plan to pull out from that situation if it happens.  I do not see that ETH become zero and network having some value or vice versa. But if some better product created in future then both can be zero together.
Well It's me that lives on a cave for all these past years and Vitalik magically a bitcoin developer, as far as I know he was a journalist that write a lot of thing about cryptocurrency and bitcoin included.
However never once I know he was a former of bitcoin developer. Even he didnt say or never saying about it personally so I guess that's wrong.
2090  Other / Archival / Re: ICO without whitepaper on: September 15, 2018, 05:40:45 AM
Personally , I don't think there should be an ICO without whitepaper. The whitepaper bridges the gap between an investor and a company. Can we say a ICO without a whitepaper is a scam? Or what can you say about an ICO without whitepaper
ICO without a whitepaper is a scam. Infact even if they have a whitepaper it could still be a scam because whitepaper is easy to produce. Always check the credibility of the team because they are the one who run the project and not the whitepaper.
Community tend to judge the legitimacy of a project simply by how serious they are. There's so many project out there that left emptiness and gap that connects them to the community and that's unworthy of a project.
A project that legit I think is those project that have complete technical detail about the project and supportive developers aswell.
2091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the price of ethereum dependent on bitcoin? on: September 14, 2018, 11:07:28 PM
The prices of all altcoins depend on BTC price. It is the fact which is shown recently. BTC has fallen almost by 3 times for the last eight months, and the price of ETH has fallen even more. Altcoins can't constantly grow if BTC falls. BTC is the stablest coin on crypto the market.
It's not that ethereum price is completely dependant though. There's always a time when ETH going the opposite direction to BTC and I think that if BTC go down it will emotionally affect ETH holders aswell
since most of them still consider bitcoin as gold of cryptocurrency that need to be reserved by them. People are just freaking out when crypto market decrease, it's like they try to bag btc as much as they can than altcoin.
2092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum price speculation / reasons for current crash? on: September 09, 2018, 12:08:49 PM
Lately we’ve seen a massive crash in Ethereum and most of it’s erc-20 tokens.
The peak price of ethereum was somewhere around the $1500 range, and has fallen below $200 today.
In my opinion This could be an effect of
-the big inflation
-ico’s dumping ethereum, due to lack of funds in fiat

What do you guys think about the bottom price for ethereum and what do you think is the main cause for the recent crash?

Ps: make sure you’re wearing your seatbelts guys because it’s about to get bumpy out there
I have been wearing my sealt bet and wait for another botton to enter the market. Due to the bitcoin ETF and so many people have liquidated their ethereum to the bitcoin and ICOs has been giving a lot of contributions to push the price of ethereum to the bottom. Casper gets delat too and it could be the one of that reasons.
2093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I wish I sold all my altcoins on: September 09, 2018, 12:06:02 PM
The market continues to disappoint. Should I regret investing in altcoins?
You should not because you have a chance to get back your money when another bubble will come soon. But you must regret it that you can take a huge profit or get another chance to buy very cheap altcoins right now. I should be the correct answer for you dude. So many people have tripled their portfolios.
2094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Private sale After ICO complete on: September 09, 2018, 12:01:56 PM
What I understand from your statement is that some ICOs are holding private sale after the ICO public sale ends. It is probably because they haven't reached the softcap and want to extend the sale period by giving it a different name. ICO is a very new market and the rules are not yet framed. It is just a market practice to have the below phases,

1. Private sale
2. Pre-ICO
3. Main ICO

There is no hard and fast rule for private sale period or its chronology. So I don't see any reason not to have a private sale phase after the ICO ends. Probably the ICO owner is trying to sell off the remaining amount of tokens to the investors through this. That's completely normal! At the end of the day, the goal is to fund the business!

off course that was normal but it strange ,private sale after ICO, they said ICO was succesful because some huge demand they stop the ICO and goes to private sale, if has a huge demand and huge interest why must by private sale. it should they continue the ICO right. but marketing plan sometimes goes weird to get an attention
Or their demand were fake, remember when a lot of trusted icos has gained so many trust from the investors and they have been putting the transparency as the priority. in fact that these days many icos are lack of the transparency.  But i can't 100% believe on the private sale and it looks suspicious.
2095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are too expensive on: September 09, 2018, 03:39:18 AM
Here is something I have observed as regard ICOs raising funds and why many are trading at below ICO price soon after listing on exchanges. The reason could well be the fact that project teams are making ICO tokens too expensive, almost at same level with what we had at the bullish market.Meanwhile, the market is now 25% of its usually market.
Project teams implement better funds management strategies, avoid wastages and unnecessary  expense and thus have a cheaper ICO, I personally believe that they can reduce their expense by at least 50 percent and thus ask for less, cheaper tokens as such, that way, investors will be better make returns on their investments.
not all of them are unbearably expensive but some ofnthem are of course i think that the prices will only rise in the future
Rather than starting from the cheap price and it doesn't make sense to see there was a lot of icos are putting expensive price for each of coin just like token pay and another ico. they have been putting more than $1 for each token and does it make sense to you? for me that's not. Rise or not depend on the result of their development progress.
2096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to 15000 ? Speculation on: September 08, 2018, 02:25:28 PM
First - nothing is impossible.

Second - here is more people who are interested in crypto.

3 - some people who miss chances in last year, are w8 ing to new Chance's.

And I think when market will start new PUMPS and bullruns, marketcap will grow mor then 10X.

And for me ETH is best trading pare. For ex. ETH/ other coins.

If market cap grow up to 8 trillion USD.

ETH potential will 15000$ ?

Had you think?

I know now is only 220$, but speculation with my examples.

It has a lot of potential but this will be happened after ethereum will have reached its hardcap. That means there will be more inflation and that will give a lot of possitive impact to the price of ethereum.
Remember about the rule of supply, limited supply and more price. That's my point about the future of ethereum in this day.
2097  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin fall? on: September 08, 2018, 02:17:34 PM
You can not say that bitcoin is still falling, and it's also impossible to say that it is growing, because bitcoin has a lateral movement, which it can not overcome, but that it should happen, because such lateral movement obviously will not last long .
At least you can try to tell the reason behind that rather than due to the ETF hype and so many people have big expectation with it but  in fact there was a lot of reasons that make ETF can't be approved by ETF and then people are loosing a lot of trust on it. it's hard to tell but people are having a lot of delusional rather than try to use the working way.
2098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What attracts you to a good crypto exchange? on: September 08, 2018, 01:51:27 PM
The exact need factor. If I need fiat money to shop and eat everyday it will encourage me to crypto withdrawal and trading. On the other hand in my country crypto money is still not legalized by the government, so its use in transactions is still very limited and is still at least once to be used as a means of buying and selling goods.
Let's hope the security measures around crypto improve and that will force countries to seriously consider legalizing with soft but fair regulations
Or just go decentralized  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
Decentralized exchange still not give a lot of guarantee if you have seen the binance hacked case and binance take the responsibility to give refund for those traders are getting impact caused by the hacked case of binance, in dex and then all of the risks will have become your own responsibility.
2099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would There Be Enough Room in the Future for all these Digital Currencies? on: September 07, 2018, 11:34:28 PM
There will always be enough room for all the cryptocurrencies and also for the newcomers. Because not all the old coins will remain or be what is it now. The truth is, there will always room for the new ones because the old ones will fail or will decide not to continue their operations due to various reasons.
The Crypto is about the competition, who can try to create the product and it will be trusted by the community, so many projects don't have competence to create such a new platform. and that's why a lot of investors are loosing their faith to that. remember the only those coins are not trusted will not be trusted by the investors. So many copycats platform and that makes so many coins died.
2100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people/users are afraid to invest in Crypto? on: September 07, 2018, 11:08:38 PM
The fear of losing money is one reason why people do not invest in crypto.  the fact that crypto market is highly volatile scares a lot of people especially those who do not like taking risk .
before try to invest in anything and i guess they have known about the risk by investing in the crypto. The volatility could become another problem too, but the majority of newcomers never know or try to learn about crypto. so many experts have stated about this if they don't even know the risk by investing in the crypto and they just follow each other.  this is why people must learn what the cryptocurrency is.
