2081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your gambling stats? (Profit/Loss) on: February 22, 2016, 02:54:25 AM
Unfortuntely since I began gambling my current stats is a negtive profit. I have been trying to get it to neutral atleast or maybe get some nice positive profit but everytime I gamble it seem like I am really not fit to gamble. I have loose so much in my bankroll so I'm actually thinking of giving up in gambling yet I can't stop.

I think it is better to give up gambling. No need of trying to recover your loses in gambling and actually giving up will be big advantage for your because it will surly save quite lot of money over some time. Gambling is meant for just fun but we all use it wrongly to make money.
2082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 22, 2016, 02:52:15 AM
289 runs partnership between Joe Burns and Steven Smith which put up Australia in very good comfortable position in this second Test against New Zealand. Australia has put up a very 505 runs in the first innings and New Zealand has already lost the first wicket in second innings and trailing by 119 runs. Mostly Australia may win this match too.

Now New Zealand is trailing by 86 runs and still 9 wickets are remaining in this second innings. It looks now for them very difficult to win this match but they can try to draw this match, if they really play good cricket. They basically need a couple of very good partnerships to build good runs and good bowling to defend there score.
2083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does sports betting works ? on: February 22, 2016, 02:45:55 AM
Say, a betting will take place on a soccer game score. Does people bet against each other or bet against house ? If they can bet against house, then how does house calculate its odds ?

The house calculates the odds based on the past performance and the quality of the team/player. For example if a game was Djokovic vs Nishikori the house would obviously give lower odds for Djokovic.

Most of these houses will have there won experts to come up with there odds. Some times to attract more bets they may refer to there compitator sites to come up better odds. More sports houses means people may get more better odds.
2084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TENNIS Match Predictions Thread.....!!!! on: February 21, 2016, 01:04:38 PM
Is it still "safe" to bet on tennis? I keep hearing things about arranged matches etc
I tried for a while, but everything seems so hard to predict. I keep seeing the underdogs beating favorites by such a big margin sometimes, and that is something that it's just not possible in football for example.

Anyway, check our V Tipster Championship. It might be of your interest to participate and add value to your bets. We now have daily prizes of 30mBTC, plus participation prize of 70mmBTC and the great top7 final prizes as usual.

Here is the link:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1248467.0

Good luck to your bets!

Now a days most of the games are fixed and it is very difficult to predict which match is fixed and which one is not. So it you really want to bet on these games than just bet small amounts to avoid big loses. Because of these match fixing now in sports also we need a luck to win our bets. Wink
2085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 20, 2016, 12:21:07 PM
Oman vs Afghanistan match is in quite interesting stage now. Omen put up a quite good fighting score 165 runs in 20 overs and now Afghanistan require another 21 runs with 4 wickets and 12 balls remaining. I was thinking it will be an easy win for Afghanistan but it looks any thing can happen now.
2086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: February 20, 2016, 11:55:41 AM
It's exciting and it's an adventure.

Sometimes the game is worth more than the prize.

Yes, as long as one play these games for fun than it will be very exciting but most of the people gamble only for making money so they will not enjoy this excitements. But they will be under more stress always after losing there money so if we don't use gambling properly than it is not correct.
2087  Economy / Gambling / Re: I turned 1 BTC into 41.5 BTC! Now I want to withdraw... on: February 20, 2016, 11:50:49 AM
Don't know if this is legit or not, maybe someone can check the Bet Ids, I don't play at safe dice do don't know, but if this is real then congrats to you, its rare to see someone winning and very rare to see someone winning this big.

looks like it is real, i checked one of his bets and here is the link for it

https://safedice.com/bets/97401558

Yes, it is very difficult to win such a big amount in dice games. Congratulations and you may contact support, they may take few days to verify your bets and later you may withdraw.

This will be a big test for safedice site. Let's see how fast they will resolve this issue.
2088  Economy / Gambling / Re: ---Probable Sure Bets--- on: February 20, 2016, 03:31:25 AM
Good luck with your project! Sports betting is tough, i'm not very good at it  Undecided

If people don't have a knowledge on particular sports than it will be very difficult to guess the winner but if one know players and teams strength than results can be predicted quite accurately. But still need some luck to win the bet and it is not purely depends on luck oriented games so we have slightly higher chances to win the bet.
2089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? on: February 20, 2016, 03:25:00 AM
I lost BTC0.4 in 4 days playing dice game.
It makes me sad when i see playing dice and winning.

Dice game is quite risky to play and win but it is very easy game to lose money very fast. Due to house edge, it will be very difficult for any one to win in this game so don't ever play this game with more money but just play some time for fun and if your lucky than you can make some decent profits.
2090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 20, 2016, 03:22:01 AM
NZ v AUS (2nd test) -> NZ 're looking in a very strong postion today. They've score 308+ runs (1st innings) & I'd guess (with NZ's stronger bowling attack) this time AUS 'll loose this match.

Brendon McCullum blasted into history with the fastest Test hundred of them all to leave Australia speechless and NZ got some good runs in this innings. McCullum came to the crease in his final Test when NZ lost thre first three wickets for just 32 runs and immediately started a quick attract and scored 145 runs in just 79 balls. NZ still got a chance to win this match, if they bowl well.
2091  Economy / Gambling / Re: ---Sure Bets--- on: February 19, 2016, 12:51:31 PM
Many people bet on low odds teams because they think they are most likely going to win team or player but only some times results may change but betting on more odds team risks are very high.

I also ways bet on good team or most likely going to win team even though odds are less. Good luck with your prediction and hope you will succeed.
2092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? on: February 19, 2016, 12:44:43 PM
If its on gambling casino games, I don't gamble that much there, maybe around 0.1 BTC but I also gamble on ponzis, and it cost me more than 1 BTC.

Now a days ponzi schemes are more danger than real gambling. Some of those new sites can't even survive fore couple of days and according to me 99% the money invested in ponzi are never come back. But in gambling if one is lucky or if your good in sports betting than you can make some money.
2093  Economy / Gambling / Re: With your gambling, do you binge or prolong the spending of your funds? on: February 19, 2016, 12:41:22 PM
In my experience best thing to do is to set up some modest profit goals and then slowly gamble towards them, binge wasn't for me.

I think, we shouldn't set any goal in gambling because it is not meant for making profits. But just bet or play with small amounts some times and if you one is lucky than he/she will make good money or just think you spend some money on fun or entertainment and move one with your other activities.
2094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Providing 30 Days free Soccer Tips on: February 19, 2016, 12:38:19 PM
It is good at least your providing first 30 days free tips to prove your knowledge on this game and betting.

After you prove than surely people will buy your paid tips but lets see how much % you will predict correctly in this month. Good luck to you..
2095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: February 19, 2016, 12:33:47 PM
Its possible of course but it mostly not will happen at the most people on a long term.
The most people will lose a lot on a long term so you need pure luck to have it.

Because gambling is not meant for making money so in the long run no one can make money. But most of the people thinks that, they can make lot of easy and fast money from gambling and end up losing all there money in gambling. So just gamble for fun and enjoy the fun part of gambling.

2097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you play in btc casino that doesn't offer Bonus ? on: February 19, 2016, 01:51:39 AM
casino offer bonus because they want more player to experiencing their casino with more time..
but with bonus there will be rollover/turnover that needed to withdraw winning,

personally i would prefer that no bonus for me, who know luck might by my site and won alot, so i can cash it out immediately without meet requirement of rollover. Smiley

Yes, bonus is just to attract people to play more time on there site and very less chances for any one to withdraw those bonus because need to meet those pre set high roll over requirements. So just choose good sites with good reputation to play.
2098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? on: February 18, 2016, 01:46:15 AM
I play mostly for fun, so I haven't wagered much, maybe around 0.05 BTC.

I too mostly gamble only for fun and some times only. I bet mostly on sports and my favourite game is cricket. So for I made over 2BTC from cricket betting. I will choose only certain matches to bet and never bet on all games so my winnings are more than loses.

If you know cricket teams strengths than some matches very easy to guess and make some good money but only some times results will change otherwise mostly we can win. As you said we should bet on all cricket matches instead need to chose some good and easy one to bet.
2099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Joca97 & CarlesPuyol Biggest Challenge made in Bitcointalk forum *Jar* on: February 17, 2016, 01:45:08 AM

2100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to invest in betting sites? on: February 16, 2016, 06:11:18 AM
The fact is that casino have a house adge and most players are deemed to loose. You will definitely benefit when you invest in a betting site.

All these casino investments are high risk and high return games so instead of putting all your money in just one site, try to find few good sites to diversify your investments and reduce your loses worst case. If some one win big money than our investments will reduce drastically and grow slowly in casino investments.
