20921  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-04-02] Vietnam Bitcoin Digital Currency Exchange Deemed Illegal on: April 03, 2014, 05:24:40 AM
They can always use Bitcoin exchanges located outside the country, such as BTC-E. India had also recently banned local BTC exchanges.
20922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cash is King? I don't think so. on: April 03, 2014, 05:23:32 AM
I don't understand this. The current exchange rate for RUR vs USD is 1 USD = 35.67 RUR.

Then why the selling rate is given as 1 USD = 45 RUR? That's daylight robbery!
20923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Africa - promised land of Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2014, 03:46:07 AM
Those are the countries that need Bitcoin least, where it is likely to be least important, because they already have a good financial infrastructure.

Excellent point. Bitcoin can benefit common people in the under-developed world much more than those in the developed nations.
20924  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-04-1] Wired - Hackers Turn Security Camera DVRs Into Worst Bitcoin Miners on: April 03, 2014, 03:41:28 AM
Lol CIA hacks cameras and adds bitcoin software to make a satoshi an hour  Grin

CIA definitely hacks cameras. It has been proven that the NSA has hacked in to the webcams of close to 30 million users. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened to the CC cameras as well.
20925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and PayPal. Is it ok to sell on PayPal now? on: April 03, 2014, 03:39:02 AM
Even if the buyer is not going to cheat you, Paypal will definitely ban your account and freeze your funds. Forget it. Not worth the risk.
20926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's 21million total coin supply hinders it immensely on: April 03, 2014, 03:38:03 AM
Actually it is one of the plus points of the BTC. It gives the BTC advantage over fiat, as inflation will not be applicable to it.
20927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A recent Wall Street Journal article about $1 Million = 1 BTC possibility! on: April 03, 2014, 03:36:32 AM
I can't imagine it happening anytime in near future. Let's get realistic. The total value of all $$$ in circulation is only about $1.27 trillion. Even in some extremely unlikely scenario the BTC is able to overtake the USD, even then the value will be much lower than $1 million. Here is why.

Value of 1 BTC = 1.27 trillion / 21 million = $60,476.
20928  Other / Off-topic / Re: Celebration when price hits 420 on: April 03, 2014, 03:33:01 AM
$431 in Bitstamp, $424 in BTC-E. Bitcoin going to historic lows. May be this is the last opportunity to amass BTCs at sub-500 prices.
20929  Other / Off-topic / Re: A human civilization experiment on: April 03, 2014, 03:29:27 AM
I'm 100 percent sure they will create religion and tribes.

Tribes or at least clans will be created for sure. But the formation of religion requires much more than 20 years. May be 200 years.
20930  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptostock alternatives on: April 03, 2014, 03:25:30 AM
Well bad investments like Labcoin were voted in that and Activeminer
That said there were legitimate stocks but bitcoin is a volatile instrument

Labcoin guys conned millions of $$$ from unsuspecting users. I myslef lost around BTC0.10. What a tragedy.
20931  Other / Politics & Society / Re: European Parliament election, 2014 on: April 03, 2014, 03:02:56 AM
Latest opinion polls from France:

UMP leading with 24% of the vote, FN close behind with 22%. The ruling PS will only get 19% of the vote.

20932  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Looking Back at NATO's ‘Humanitarian’ Bombing of Yugoslavia on: April 03, 2014, 03:00:49 AM
The UN must prosecute the perpetrators behind this grave crime against humanity (Hillary, Bill, Wesley Clarke.etc). And they should declare that the USA is a terrorist state and the no.1 threat to world peace.
20933  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine... Revolution. on: April 03, 2014, 01:31:02 AM
apparently in the uk, married gay partners can actually adopt a kid! imagine being raised by two males LOL this must be so confusing. btw, uk has everything backwards and other side around.

Personally I don't have anything against gays. But gay adoption is risky. I have read research findings that 60% of the gay foster-parents are likely to sexually abuse their adopted children, against just 3% of the heterosexual couples. That is a startling figure and no amount of political correctness can mask it.
20934  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Crimea on: April 03, 2014, 01:26:10 AM
Also, the salaries and pensions will be increased to the average level of RF.

Wow... that was quick. So the Crimeans woke up one day and find that their salaries have suddenly jumped by 500%.
20935  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Saudi Arabia To Classify Atheists As “Terrorists”… on: April 03, 2014, 01:23:49 AM
There's also the death penalty for muslims who give up their religion

Yes. Apostasy is punishable by death in most Muslim nations. But that is not preventing hundreds of thousands of Muslims from abandoning their religion every year.
20936  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia Invades Ukraine. Whats next? on: April 03, 2014, 01:22:31 AM
I've seen quite a few comments on other Serbian Youtube videos, where Russians ask for forgiveness from the Serbian people for not being able to come to their aid back then.

What can the Russians do when you people elect an anti-Serb like Boris Tadić as your president?
20937  Other / Off-topic / Re: a world witout money not even bitcoin on: April 03, 2014, 01:12:49 AM
Is hard to imagine a world without money since from 12,000 B.C people are using it.

Even today, there are several isolated tribal societies who don't use any type of money / barter. But do we want to live like them?
20938  Other / Off-topic / Re: Amazon unveils Fire TV $99 set top box as rival to Google and Apple on: April 03, 2014, 01:11:29 AM
It's a very good news and even better if Amazon start accepting Bitcoins as its competitors.

It will never happen, and learn to live with it. Amazon is similar to Ebay. They have always supported PP / Visa / Master. In an optimistic scenario, I could see Google and FB accepting BTC in the future. But definitely not Amazon.
20939  Other / Off-topic / Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. WTF? on: April 03, 2014, 01:09:43 AM
They are either incredibly incompetent, or they're really trying to cover up something. I am inclining towards the former.

I think that the latter is true. They are definitely hiding something.
20940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Island on: April 03, 2014, 01:08:23 AM
That's what i mean; We'll take it and declare it to be an independent nation. Building an island in international waters would be close to impossible even if you're filthy rich.

As I said before, taking over an already occupied island will bring shitstorm from the UN.
