Webcams represent just a tiny fraction of the porn revenue. Most of the revenue still comes from DVD sales and rentals.

And regarding the US revenues, even with a population of 300 million+, the revenues are lower when compared to Japan and South Korea.

Also, somewhere I read that the per capita spending for porn is highest in Japan and South Korea. Volumes are higher in the US / EU, but the revenue is not there. 

Well... I'll be a bit more skeptical. When the news from China came out, at least initially, everyone were saying that it was just a warning. Only after a day to two it emerged that all transactions are blocked there.

That doesn't matter much. They had given the much needed publicity for Bitcoin when we were desperate for some. I don't want to be ungrateful. 

Let's not group the school teachers with police and scientists. The cops and the researchers work hard, so we can't blame them. The teachers on the other hand, have proliferated with the support from their unions. They work for less than 10 hours a week, and carry almost four times the salary which an average council worker (who works for 60 h / week) receives. And what do they do? They just brainwash the students with their political messages. No one is going to disagree if I claim that the quality of teaching has gone down the drain for the last few decades or so.

I would agree. Apple is losing its market share to Samsung. So I don't care whether they hate Bitcoins or not. Their arrogance is causing their downfall.

The proliferation of all these altcoins will end up doing a lot of harm for Bitcoin. What is the point in all these? One coin for porn, another for shopping.. like that? Why can't we use BTC for all of these purposes?

I'd have considered purchasing it. But the site doesn't have an option to make payment through Bitcoin. Also, don't you think it is a bit over-priced?

You should seriously look in to buying used asics from sites such as Ebay. Difficulty and Hashrate is increasing every hour or so. So more delay means more monetary loss. 

One of my friends once bought a 200-pack from Bitmit for 0.4 BTC (at that time BTC was around $100). He don't even want to discuss about that purchase now. 

I had 4 pegs of Staroplzenecky Absinthe. Bought with my CC, as they don't accept BTC.

What is the difference in doing these sort of things for $10 or 200K. Everything is the same. You are not different from someone who is doing it for $10.
