Also, I got ahold of Richie this afternoon so we're working on getting the Bittrex wallet back online today

I still have no idea what problems Yobit is having or even what chain they are on for that matter, but I have no responses. So if you use them.. you're on your own for now, I guess

Alright, I'm using a modified protocol version for a few seednodes to kick out all the bad peers before passing them along to you guys

Hopefully connections will start climbing again with some added ban rules of old peers

Is Digicube version 1.6 different than the version 1.2  that reduced the staking for users under 10,000 CUBE ?

1.2 had an error, you must be on 1.6

any news about bittrex ?

I've tried reaching out to Richie for the past week on IRC, I don't know if he doesn't want my help or what. Usually he responds fairly fast so he must be busy or something. Don't know

I also sent ticket to Yobit so, really, there's nothing more I can do to get either of their asses in gear

And you believe further that scamcoin. Keep it up.

igotspots = scam = scam coin

Why is scam?

jesus. dont listen him .....

atleast look at this user >  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1353715.msg14145533#msg14145533

he and hes friends accounts Smiley  everyone got   Reputation - Smiley

ban/ or just ignore him

Maybe you right .I have 2 BTC invest in this coin and look at this shit :

Every fucking day same shit: orphan orphan orphan ....

Orphans are a result of local issues, no matter how much you blame the coin. Chances are you have lag or slower internet that is causing them. Orphans don't really matter, though, since they just stake again like 2 minutes later..

Also, your Windows is not genuine  ;p

Remove that line from the conf file. You are doing the exact opposite of what you want it to do and right now it's locked for everything except staking
2108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💸 DigiCube 🔷 INFLATION CONTROL 🔷 STAKE ON ANDROID 🔷 ARBITRAGE ALERT 💸 on: March 20, 2016, 06:27:43 AM
You can also use

reservebalance=99999999

in DigiCube.conf to run a node without staking or encrypting, as well (the network and I appreciate you running a node Wink)

This can be turned on and off in the debug window, too

reservebalance true <amount>

reservebalance false

Replace <amount> with how much you want always available for sending

Thanx Spots and Bones261 for the info... Much appreciated

Spots suggestion trumps mine. That's why I deleted my comment.

I see... I used the 'reservebalance=99999999' in DigiCube.conf as suggested by Spots and opened the wallet having this unlocked icon and message 'Wallet is encrypted and currently unlocked for block minting only'... Am I in the right configuration? I just want for the wallet to have its true stake reward percentage

You have the complete opposite happening

Remove the walletpassphrase line I'm assuming you have in there

What conf file will I put did? Where is that located?
maxconnections=99
addnode=46.105.158.205
addnode=98.144.161.18
addnode=109.60.4.135:55041
addnode=173.78.118.187:50588
addnode=83.251.51.13:4509
addnode=185.31.33.159:63686
addnode=106.51.116.240:8888
addnode=112.198.98.233:58451
addnode=109.75.136.179:64900

In Windows, it will generally be in this folder:

C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\DigiCube

If you do not have one, you will have to create DigiCube.conf

Haven't been reading every page but any update on android wallet?

He's working on a way to make the fork go smoothly since we had to do some network repairs to resolve all the errors from v1.6 - Those are now settled, so we can move forward again. Android is a bit more complicated since the blockchain files are a little harder to work with. I imagine he will have a solution soon, sorry for the delay

Later today I will replace the 'DigiCube v1.2' countdown on http://freestaking.com to show the minimum age needed and max reward possible, updated every 5 seconds

Got a few other things to do first today, but I'll make sure I throw that in later

I still confused about new  mint reward system in wallet 1.6 ? if before 50k block I got reward in 5-6 day ~20 cube(from 100  coin) that now only 1cube ?

yep, spots made cube v1.6 a unique coin, tamagotchi-like,
one should constantly nanny the wallet to keep block weights above the 2% threshold,
and small blocks are practically useless (almost)

soo my 7 k cubes is useless  ?  everyday i will get those 1 cube ? : D

hahahaha

Send all of your coins to yourself so they are all in one input.
Lock your wallet for two days.
Unlock your wallet after 2 days and wait for stake.
Repeat
and what happens after 2 days?, every time after I got reward, I merge coin block manual by sending to yourself.  I have lot blocks at age 30 -40 day if I send yourself right now I lose coinday.

If you have 7000 coins in one input, after 2 days the coin-days would be 14000, so more than enough to qualify for the 2000%/yr stake.
You may have to sacrifice some of those coindays if they are less than 2% of the current block number. You could also lock your wallet and wait for the day when all of your inputs have a coinday greater than 2% of the block reward. Not sure how big your inputs are though. If they are only 1 coin, that would take over 3 decades for that input to get enough weight.

You are better off saying fuck it and eating the loss one-time right now to combine them all at once. I see why you would want to hold on to all that coin age, but sometimes you gotta just say screw it. You should have combined them a few days before block 500k, but luckily it's still fairly early so competition for big blocks will still be pretty slim; not that big of a loss. Each minute you wait, however, is potential coin age that you won't accumulate, so I would do it as soon as possible

Send all coins to yourself in one transaction and lock the wallet for like 3 days just to be on the safe side. When you unlock it, you should stake almost immediately for 5.5% x the days it was locked. If you keep it locked for three days, you will stake approximately 1155 coins with an input size of 7000

I got a few PM's about Yobit

I've sent them a message through the website form about the update and given them links. I know they've had wallet issues for quite a while now, somehow, so if anyone uses them, please let me know if they ever get around to updating to v1.6

@igotspots

Hey dude, i know this is a offtopic , but this comes to my attention which makes me scared about the future of this coin (cube), your idea about this coins is somewhat similar to the coins you've develop last year (E-CASH), but only the difference is ecash stake for 8%daily while cube is 5%, i only hope that it will not suffer the same fate with ecash which totally destroyed by huge dump because of  low demand and huge supply. I like the idea which you put a requirement of 10kcube in order to stake for 5%daily. well i think it is good also to increase the requirement of 5kcube every month for staking to minimized the dump. cube total supply is 4millionplus, it rises  to 20ksatoshi and down to 800satoshi. well i  regret that i made my prediction that cube will hit 500satoshi, i know im selfish, forgive me Smiley Good luck to your coin.. Cheesy

I did not make ECASH, I fixed it for them for free, which hurt my reputation more than anything I've actually done myself. Fucking waste of time for a bunch of ungrateful shitheads. They voted on the specs and that shitty coin is nowhere near what CUBE is

The minimum coin age required is also already on a sliding scale as you suggested and will increase with every passing block
2120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🎅 DigiCube 🎄 C-CEX MERCHANT 🎄 ANDROID 🎄 StakeStick Smart TV Staker on: March 16, 2016, 11:55:15 AM
When c-cex re-opens withdraws, I very highly suggest everyone move their coins from there to either a local wallet or Bittrex

I'm done being insulted and banned by their mods and have requested delisting. I do not want to be somewhere I am not appreciated or wanted and c-cex, while I love Yuriy and think he's the best person in crypto, has become a place that CUBE and iGotSpots are no longer welcome. Colette and the other mods would rather defend Horus and Cryptsy than listen to truths; this is not the environment I want to see CUBE grow up in

Bittrex is now the preferred place for CUBE trading: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-CUBE

I will no longer be using c-cex chat, so do not expect any help from me in there any more. You will have to use this thread or Twitter (https://twitter.com/PurePoS) to get ahold of me now

is this going happen?

Most likely it will. I'm sick of their mods and the begging for tips and the banner spam, it's all getting ridiculous and annoying. Colette really fucked up today, though, and now I have no further interest. Honestly, it's 99% spam, 1% troll mods; that is not the kind of environment any of us are looking for

I still really like Yuriy and it's unfortunate that it has come to this, but I'm done with it. I'm not going to keep fighting mods who are too much of a sissy to do anything but ban people like some bitch ass pussies and defend criminals rather than hear the truth about them. I'm done with it, they can fuck off. And Colette.. I hope you enjoy feeling powerful trading pennies because I buy and sell shitheads like you daily. You just created a lot of problems for c-cex so I reaaaaalllllly hope you bring a lot to the table, because I can be louder than anyone else in crypto, and you just fucked up big time, bitch  Wink

If this goes down, I will switch the website to use Yobit or BTCPool instead

Haha...

Last year I saw Colette - begging for Dogecoin. A few days later, she/he was a moderator.
This year I saw Judge - begging for Paycon, BTC and other small coins. A few days later, he was a moderator.
I have no idea what qualifications is necessary to become a C-Cex Mod.
These trolls are all on my ignor list.

But keep calm. You should stay on C-Cex. Most people know these chats are always just Troll boxes, no more - no less.

I appreciate the words, but I have way too much on the line with my coins to have fights with mods who are supposed to represent an exchange carrying a product. This would be like a Wal-Mart employee suggest you not to spend money in their store; they would not last long, yet in crypto this childish bullshit seems to be encouraged. My background is in actual business, not pretend, and the way Bitcoin has gone in the last four years is, quite frankly, fucking embarrassing. There is a reason I refuse to try bringing my real world contacts to this kindergarten sandbox. It would be different if I was just running the coin, but my actual company is paying all the bills out of pocket, I don't need that kind of shit when I have more on the line than most of those people will ever even be worth. It's no longer worth my time or keystrokes to deal with amateur mods who mean and contribute absolutely nothing and I definitely do not want an exchange with reps talking shit about my product to 'support' my coin. Fuck that noise

The thing that sucks is that Yuriy and I have become good friends through our time in crypto since we have common goals. His site works amazing and his support is top notch, but his mod choices are utterly atrocious and will ultimately destroy his site. I keep telling him that
