So many people bitched and moaned about the PSU that came with the S2, Comment after comment about sell it without the crappy PSU, because I am just going to replace it anyways. Now you can purchase an S2 without the Enermax PSU and people wanna cry about that. Bitmain was purchasing PSU's most likely a thousand at a time, probably around $15-$25 each, and same for the case that many people didn't care for.
If you don't like the current price, wait till the end of the holidays and see if it moves in your favor.
Buying a PSU on your own is on your shoulders as to what it costs. There of cheap ways of getting one and $$$ ways of getting one. You would have been leary of what comes with it anyways.
If you don't know what to do without a case, look at the GPU rigs, there are a ton of great ideas to use that are nearly free to duplicate.
Not a DYI'er; then wait ...........the next gen is coming. If you had BTC a week ago, its gone up in value and your ROI well........................?
Soon Bitmain will deliver bag of chips, screws, resistors etc. for the price of working mining rigs and we should DIY that and celebrate because he delivers. Good thinking.

Im just going through this thread and bitmain seems drop interest in customer relation dept. Shitty s2 product, miners which are no worth more than case and few cables, now kits to save on issues with RMA. Let's face it, people are responsible for this mess. Just imagine if no one would buy shitty s2 and would whistle and booo them as hell for prices they trying to push between us.
I had past with S1 and will stick to it. No matter what, S2 is not worth any BTC at this stage. I will not buy DIY kit for the silly amount they offer. I will not make 1000 sd card with new image to start miner and maybe mine a bit of BTC.
People, wake up. Stop buying overpriced gear. Once they will see it's not going their way they planned they will drop the price or push new reliable gear like S1 was or they will go banrupt which i assume they will not go as this is heaven for them. especially now when BTC start hiking again.
I'm not booing bitmain, but seriously to treat people like they doing at this moment you need to have balls. Look at BFL-how long they was spitting on people before people showed them finger?
Ok, bitmain delivers on time. I really like this idea as preorders was total scam. But 1st batch of S2 was preorder and was total joke. Just check begining of this thread.

Bah, there needs to be some in the north of England. We're missing out! I hope that somebody introduces one further north. I'm surprised that Manchester doesn't have one yet, there's a big start-up (especially tech) community in that area of the country.
I would love to buy a Bitcoin ATM, but I aren't liquid enough to spare the funds to bankroll one.
Agree, more needed North UK - I understand London would be a logical place to start, but Bristol?!? Does anyone know who is the company supplying/licensing the machines? I wouldn't mind contacting them and perhaps buying a few to install. Bristol is quite a good location I think, yes it's quite small but it has a pretty large "alternative" population, ie hippies, anarchists etc. Also young Bristolians seem pretty sharp when it comes to political/economic matters in my experience. I agree that some more need to be installed in the North though, and some in Wales and Scotland would be sweet. Any location is good. People need to learn how they can start with bitcoin and how easy would be without plastic card visa logo.

I've seen quite a bit of discussion about this, and it is definitely very exciting. Hard to say when it will affect price -- I'd have to think actual increased adoption based on it would lag quite behind the implementation, but the news could give us a spike in the short term, maybe.
facebook and exciting? i dont think so.
