2101  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Can I convert this PC into a gaming machine ? on: June 28, 2016, 10:27:33 PM
I don't know if this the right board to post it, but to me it looks like the most appropriate. I have found a very good offer in my country to buy a PC which I think it can be turned into a gaming system but need to ask here as in this forum I solve all of my btc and computer related problems.
So here is the deal:
HP 8300 Elite
Core i7 3770 (done testing at game-debate , plays latest game with more than 100% at ultra high settings)
8GB Ram (is good as a beginning)
It has ATI Radeon HD7450 (a really really bad video card)

It is exactly regarding the GPU, can I add to this small case the GPU I like ATI Radeon HD7970 (it plays witcher 3 at ultra max settings at 93% testing done at game-debate)

I want to be sure about this before I buy it , the offer is very good only 429 Euro for such a HP 8300 Elite slightly used (while only the core i7 processor if you see at ebay is almost at 300 USD ).

Let me know if this can be turned into a gaming machine by adding the 7970 video card.

Isn't the 8000 elite and the 8300 SFF computers (Small form factor) which means they are tall but slim and may not hold a full length video card, you can try to see if you can find a video card that would fit inside (half sized) and you would need to change the mounting bracket on the gpu as well so it fits in the case.

the 8000, 8200, and the 8300 are the same size if I recall in the SFF versions, and do come with some decent quad core i7 CPU's if that was the config.

If you can actually get the video card in there and enough room for it to breathe then the cpu is fine and 8GB ram should be decent enough to start, I have seen some with 32GB RAM as its upgradable.

But check the specs on some of the higher end half sized GPUs first is my recommendation.

thanks!

ok If you say so, I was a member here in excellent standing long before garza even thought about xpy, so your logic means nothing.

I have invested in many things way before xpy/paycoin and ion.

Bitcoin was one of my first crypto's then litecoin,  but ok, if you think that way, obviously there is no arguing with you.

Have a good rant, I have better things to do with my time then "play" with you today.

Oh, and please don't blatantly lie about you not being on ion slack, you look foolish when you lie.

Anyone with half a brain can see your many accounts there.

What does Adam have to do with your rant?

have a nice day!

bucky came here to whine, suchmoon picks immediately up. Maybe you two could post some screenshots.

the same happened there like it happened here. There is no special exclusion for any user to behave bad to others and verbally harras them.

Bucky was banned there for not following rules and what does he do now? Smiley, he comes over to ask for help and where does he do it? In ION Smiley thread.

Bucky, maybe you will ask here who will buy your masternodes, coins or whatever you offer?

Suchmoon, you were not commenting on me?

Great, suchmoon, what if I tell you the reson for bucky's ban? Did you find out that he was banned for doxing YOU?

There is maybe one other addition, I requested this ban. Now you do trully show how bad you are as an person.

Bucky reffered to you. I am sure you like it Smiley.

panda, why don't you post your entire rant and not a small clip?

did you forget your entire crazy rant on calling me a piece of shit when butting into another conversation?

It's nice to think that you're some sort of internet police, but there are enough wanna be's here already.

Why are you on ION slack as other usernames? and threatening people?

I see here are the rules:

#5 got me banned for "Encouraging" someone to break the rules who was "baiting" me lol

Greaaaat!

So i'm permabanned, my "account at least" but I hear "Tor" some dood who claims to be anon gets his account unbanned in 24 hours lol

Admins make up the rules on who deserves what I guess.

For answer the question on the Masternodes, how does it work on coins like Dash?

I cant relay the message to find out, but I believe there is a whitepaper, if its not revised?

I think its a mash of Dash and something else.

But yea owning a Masternode is definitely profitable for anyone as it gets half of the block rewards split up amongst the 57 or so that are current.

But I heard the network is getting "better" so more blocks and more rewards/profits Smiley

its like a prime controller Smiley

I would ask over there but they banned my account from slack...

That's a new one. For what?

it seems that when i was trying to sell some ION for personal reasons another member (he was a whale) made some nasty remark about what i was selling it for, which wasn't the case, it was for a personal medical issue, but that's not the point and i called him an idiot for saying that...that's not the reason for the ban though.

Then this Panda character comes on and calls me a piece of shit and starts a fight with me and commands me to remove my post lol

Then we had at it, and he went off like a madman. Unsure why, but he was breaking "the golden rules" the entire time, he said something like so I should post porn then?

i was like do it i dont care wtf you do, as he was obviously off his meds.

So i got banned for some crap like egging on a user to do something to break the rules lol

I was baited, anyway the admin said i can come back as another user and he is only banning my "account" not me...lol again

I said my account is me, and I will not come back.

so that's that, strange crap goin on I tell ya.

go figure.

2108  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [FS] All aluminum open-air case frames (added new light weight version) on: June 10, 2016, 01:33:07 AM
So yea, Rich is by far one of the best case or custom case builders around.

He has been doing this for a long time , and I ordered a few of my first gpu rigs from him back when mining litecoin lol.

Here is a custom creation he very recently built or me, and was very patient going over every detail for the perfect fit.

building the shell:

populating:

Each tier slides out individually, there are 4 tiers in a rack, for a total of 8 GPU rigs (6 GPU's per rig, 2 rigs per tier).

I am still working on populating them all, but the workmanship was superb, and I will always recommend Rich to anyone looking for a custom case.  Smiley

Thanks!

hi, yes i admit to being scammed  of course its no mystery, i think most of the people in crypto have been scammed more than a few times with stuff like garza, ltcgear, bitstone, scryptcc and so many other bullshit things.

I will be the first to say i am wrong when i'm wrong (or actually know it) and apologize for that, which i have done many times here.

Not so many nice remarks back though , but its cool, a lot of people were hurt and i have tough skin.

You said:
"You seem to fall for any XPY-riddled scam coin going on,"

I don't discriminate who i get scammed by lol, i invest in whatever i like, some of them may overlap with other things from the past.

So you asked me:
":So... Serious question - Whats up with your opinion on ION then? Thanks!"

Honestly i don't have any insider information either way.

It could be great, it could fail, it's an investment like many others.

Some investments pay off most don't.

all i can say is that I do like the community there and its a friendly atmosphere with some fun stuff to bulshit about, and i hope to see the game come out, and i hope its successful.

I don't have any other information than any other investor (well not that i actually know of)

I would like to see them come out of the stench of garza and paycoin / xpy as they are running a diff ship with diff rules. Not everyone likes the rules, but hey, i dont write them, so i have no say. I just have a little hope that they are doing whats best for the investment.

A lot pf people in my opinion are or were involved in some way shape or form either as a member / investor, or partner in something before they got into what they are doing now, so i cant say anything on the level of "oh that guy once was involved in something and now is in this, don't do it" because to me that is foolish.

I would be marking 99% of anyone in finance Smiley

so that's my first answer to my first question.

thanks!

what's up bitcointalk people!

don't have much to say right now, but thought id pop in and say hi, didn't read any of the last 100 or so pages, but gonna be around to see what cookin here.
Gonna be on and off line, so if you ask me a question, please be patient , i work y'know.

don't have the luxury of being online all the time these days.

So was i "snipped" anywhere in that last 100 pages anywhere? any good quotes?

not here for any trouble or anything like that, actually the opposite, just wanted to join in a conversation.

last thing i want is a battle , we have all had that b4 Smiley

I mostly hang out in the for sale goods section, so not really following any threads atm.

and yes i was scammed 2 times already with garza and bitstone. so no need to remind me. it's well noted.

thanks!
2111  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] X11 miner not gpu on: May 19, 2016, 03:34:04 AM
I can get you 150 MH/s x11 ASIC for $1k each.
so how are you getting these?

there was a link to the batch 1 pineda is doing, they were 800usd a piece, so 1k wow nice markup ;\
damn if i can find the link now but it was from the dash forums

Pinidea is actually doing the 500mhash miner, they were 500 dash (about $3k) apiece

The Baikan miner is 150mhash, retail 444, marked up price is 800-1000

They were sold 1 per person to their QQ group, but have several hundred on a farm pointed at nicehash currently

exactly: 1 per person Smiley

so how can one person have so many or be waiting for so many?

Yeah its very risky at the moment. Don't understand why they didn't also make it X13 dual mining. Which of been a little more profitable.

Why make 2 in one when you can sell 2 separate things lol more profit
2114  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] X11 miner not gpu on: May 13, 2016, 12:06:16 PM
i have 500M miner .
PM me if you interested.

Can you post any pics with specs etc?

Prices?

Thanks!
2115  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] X11 miner not gpu on: May 08, 2016, 03:51:07 PM
haha

I guess that's why I'm asking about them.

I have yet to see anyone with them either.

I'm not a fan of any vapor pre-order these days either Smiley

Well I guess we can wait and see if these actually come to market.  If so then maybe they will still be profitable or possibly not if there is a huge per-order wait time.

Order directly from the manufacteur. Nobody is selling used because they are brand new.

If only I could order one and expect in it 3 days i might. lol
but we all know that isn't going to happen.

Thanks!
2116  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] X11 miner not gpu on: May 08, 2016, 12:22:22 AM
I guess these are mythical still? like unicorns?
2117  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] X11 miner not gpu on: May 07, 2016, 12:27:47 AM
So does anyone actually have any of these new X11 miners?

If so let me know specs and pricing. Show pics as well.

No pre order crap.

thanks!
