2101  Economy / Services / Re: Coinomat.com - Signature Campaign! [STARTED] on: August 03, 2015, 04:11:58 PM
i dont even know why im reporting this as im sure no action will be taken, like the first time i reported but here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=750760.msg12035455#msg12035455

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1141841.0
that kind of posts definitely deserves a ban from the admin, all you need to do is report them using the report to moderator link.
2102  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: August 03, 2015, 03:38:31 PM
It provides extra safety for the account holders! But what if the account is sold out, the original owner comes out and tries to claim the account back! I wonder how theymos fixes these conflicts?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1104753.msg11759540#msg11759540

seems like it'll become a lose-lose situation. except for the hacker.
that's why the buyer should ask for a signed message when they're buying an account.
2103  Other / Meta / Re: Whats with www.bitcointalk.xyz? on: August 03, 2015, 03:29:19 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1059011.0

most likely a phishing site. but not 100%

It's not mine. Leeching traffic for ads, phishing, malware, or maybe just bypassing China/Russia's ban of the forum. I strongly recommend not logging in there in any case.

^ that's the real theymos, by the way.

edit:
I suggest you remove the "www." on your post so that people won't click it by accident.
2104  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: August 03, 2015, 03:15:21 PM
so the limit is removed? because the bot do not display the text "limit" anymore, so i assume that we are free to go now

the text "limit" is designed to appear when you have reached or get past the maximum post count. I know this because it works like that on other signature campaign that uses marco's bot. (see my sig. don't want to mention it because it might sound like I'm advertising another campaign on Bit-x thread  Tongue)
2105  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: August 03, 2015, 02:48:31 PM
CryptoCircuits made a monthly signature compaign I thought you should know .
Topic : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1141204.0

BitStarz has restarted their signature campaign this month. As far as I can tell, there are only a couple of changes since last month that are worth noting though: the link to the campaign thread should be updated to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1141216; and Neotox is no longer managing the campaign - bitstars.net is now doing so (and monbux is still the escrow).

added both to my post. CryptoCircuits escrow status will be "No" until devthedev confirms it.
I hope Mitchell isn't abandoning the thread.  Sad

Mitchell has been a little overworked with this thread for quite a while (according to his own admission).  Just like Mitchell took over this thread from someoen before him (I can't recall the name now), maybe it's time for someone to go ahead and make version 3 and allow Mitchell to enjoy his retirement after working so hard for so long.

Also, at one point, hillariousandco was thinking to go ahead and just edit the OP with Mitchell's permission.

I know updating the OP require a decent amount of work. that's why my post is made in a way he can just copy and paste it over a portion of the OP (tho I think Mitchell always double check every submission on this thread).
2106  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many messages you have on: August 03, 2015, 02:36:29 PM
combining outbox and inbox, I've got a total of 228 PMs.. tho I'm sure I deleted some PMs in the past.
2107  Other / Off-topic / Re: How long have you been logged in for? on: August 03, 2015, 02:33:04 PM
Total time logged in: 28 days, 24 minutes.

late again. apparently the clock keep running even though we're browsing another site.

Weird, must've not been enough, I didn't get paid yet... O.o

they haven't even started to give out the payments yet. the 3 btc is still sitting around in the hot wallet.

So....just as an FYI since this forum is very similar to Litecointalk, mods do not have the ability to delete PM's. I dont even think admins can do that (I've personally never tried).

Your story sounds fishy....

EDIT: I should add mods can not see PM's either.

Administrators certainly can.

Are you saying that because you know with 100% certainty or are you making an assumption?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=950700.msg10411287#msg10411287
I don't know about dogie, but I'm 100% certain.
2114  Economy / Lending / Re: I need a Pro Lender like ManyProofs to Help me out with 0.15 bitcoins on: August 01, 2015, 07:45:30 PM
wow. you and some of the topic starter are addressing manyproof like he's some stupid brat. you seriously think this will work?
2115  Other / Off-topic / Re: Weird Trivia on: August 01, 2015, 07:13:45 PM
I looked for the answer for more than a hour and didn't find anything. bumping this cuz I'm a little curious.  Tongue

Seriously, you couldn't just Google April 5, 1975 with Bitcoin or "The Times" with Bitcoin to make a simple connection?

"Slow your asses down, guys! First, free lunch, then I have to Google something."

wow. that's some coincidence..
I got too absorbed with searching all about Caitlin Moran, I forgot the part about Bitcoin.  Tongue
2116  Other / Meta / Re: Is it possible to gain reputation here without any trade happening? on: August 01, 2015, 04:04:02 PM
technically, you can get "+ reputation" for doing anything.

first one got a positive for recommending a music, the later got it through contribution.
oh, and let's not forget about Vod.

if you now who have the device in germany - berlin, please tell me to call to the police.

I don't even live in German. you should create a thread on the german local board. don't forget to add every information you can.

help you with what? finding the stolen car or giving you free money?  I seriously hope it is not the later. I'll have to report this if it is.

CLOSE THREAD ALREADY GOT $$

you can lock it yourself. there should be a "lock topic" button on the bottom left of the page.
2120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Karpeles finally getting some Japanese style justice - hang 'em high on: August 01, 2015, 03:02:05 PM
this may be a dumb question. but what will happen to the stolen bitcoins if karpeles actually had them stored somewhere?

This isn't justice it's a dog and pony show. The justice happens when everyone he stole from gets their money back and the video of him getting ass raped in a U.S. prison goes viral.

and here I thought your post earlier on the 1st page was serious.  Tongue
