This december i think the price of the bitcoin will jump and reach $500 on this month.
because it's nearly christmas and i think some people sell/exchange his/her bitcoins to use it in christmas.
What do you think guys?
wouldn't selling bitcoins cause the price to drop? I don't think the price will go past $400 this month. if anything it might drop because of the reason you just stated. I'll be happy if I'm wrong though. |

it is possible but theymos have to give them permission to change/view passwords and view IPs and other stuff to see if an account was indeed hacked.. very huge responsibility.

if you're not willing to give it back for free then just sell it back to the "real owner". it's partially his fault for not keeping his password safe.

right now I only invest with what little I can afford to lose, so I'll just leave it be in case the price goes to $300~ again. if there's absolutely no hope I'll just sell all.
ofc if I'll be witnessing the price drop I'll probably sell right away on $200.

it depends. are we talking long term or short term? anywhere below $350 *should be* good enough if you're planning on holding for a year or more. I don't know about short term. edit: you forgot to update the topic title btw. |

yeah. sold at $410 then bought back at $390 and sold again at $400.
though I didn't follow my first instinct to sell when the price dropped from $500 to $450. ah well, profit is profit.

it is risky to leave any kind of currency (not only fiat) on an exchange. only leave your money there when you're going to trade. I actually forgot that I had my fiat on a local exchange. thanks for reminding me.  |

I've been experiencing so much 502 Bad Gateway errors lately. Plus, the forum works really slow for me (when it works).
Today usually I need to refresh a page 2-3 times in order for it to open, and when it does, takes ages to load completely.
All other websites work fine for me.
Anyone experiencing this lately?
i always got it -_- yeah. I also got it all the time. this time it's just a little worse than most. those errors might be caused by server overload. ddos? hmm. theymos posted while I was typing. guess not. |

asking for a loan without a collateral while you're a newbie (no offense, newbies) is considered wrong here, I'm afraid. kind of an unofficial law. and yes, domain names are valid collateral. though you may find it hard to get a lender that is willing to take them. |
