2121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Failed in trade it's not joke. on: August 02, 2022, 08:02:02 AM
Even people who made millions of dollars from scratch has failures so this will teach us the lesson what should not be done in a situation so in future we don't repeat that and gain from it that is how the trading works. When someone just starts even after learning everything they wanted to enter still they may face the failures because its just a part of shaping our trading career so failing in trading is not a joke but keep repeating the same mistake again and again is stupidest thing.

Indeed! if you just keep doing the same mistake over and over, better to quit and not to continue your journey, maybe this venue of investment is not for you. Assess and aim for the betterment if, in case you make a mistake or your position is not favoring the outcome, always remember that there is always time to improve.

Give yourself a tie to enhance and improve your strategy. Finding the right one will soon give you a good result.

Not easy though, but if you are keen to succeed, the chance is always open for you.
Losing in a trade is not a mistake but losing a trade because of a mistake which they actually encountered before but never changed it to a profitable one in the long term then I will say trading may not be for you but its better not quit since the long term trading can be helpful and with just stable coin pairs they can make decent returns with minimal risk from my knowledge.

Being a traders I'll become flexible and to be risk taker no matter what I've lost in my traded.
Trading wasn't mean to be consistent because of how the market behavior actually looks like and everyday could be different situation for those traders. Being a risk taker sometimes are required if you want to step up your game and probably reach your boundary to get more profit because that's how investment works, it's all about research, risk and luck. Even people they called "pro traders" are sometimes losing their money in unexpected situtations.

2123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Made Me Angry on: July 31, 2022, 04:35:44 PM
You accepted their terms while opening an account so getting angry is not going to make any changes, if it helped you to move towards p2p decentralized monetary system like cryptocurrencies then as crypto enthusiast I am happy about it. But about the savings account and withdrawal limit then its understandable they are here to make money not to provide the service, already they created s paper as money now simply want to keep making money to grow them.
2124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more users to deposit. on: July 31, 2022, 03:34:46 PM
Gambling sites with no promotion, giveaways, and any kind of bonuses are also having huge bankroll as per the stats so the priority on the list is the trust as I said but these bonus, events and others are just contributing for making the people to deposit more money than they actually planned to do.
Without any promotions, giveaways and bonuses, nothing will make people deposit any more money, making the casino lose its profit potential. Sometimes if the casino already has a good reputation, people will not see any promotions or bonuses because they have made the casino a comfortable place to play. In addition, people who are used to playing in that casino will remain loyal customers for the casino because they have not had a bad experience at that casino.
I can give you an example which is bustadice provided no bonuses, promotional events, etc but they are one of the crypto casino with high bankroll its simply possible because they give best user experience and some of the features can't be found on most so the uniqueness made people to deposit and obviously the the trust created from their service made it to happen.
2125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more users to deposit. on: July 31, 2022, 08:15:00 AM
The deposit bonus is widely practiced whether its crypto or fiat based casino from my knowledge and to be honest which itself encourages people to deposit more money than what they are actually planned but before all of these they need to have trust on the casino then only they will deposit whatever money they are going to gamble wither it can be a 10 dollar or millions of dollars which means the reputation and user experience p[lays a huge role in attracting more money into their bankroll.

But I thunk having the deposit bonus is not enough to gain more users to deposit and play with their website. They need to make more events and giveaways if ever, a lot of competition is happening right now there are a tons of gambling website and games that can be found in the internet, they need to gain the people trust because for me it is the first thing to do and it is needed to be prioritize. I also read somewhere in this board that a certain casino website is having an issue in referral bonus wherein users took advantage of it, they can also use this referral strategy but they need to take care of this issue as well.

2127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking to start an online casino on: July 30, 2022, 04:26:14 PM
Hey guys!

So I am interested in starting an online bitcoin casino, yet i have no idea how to start from.
I have a background in coding, and I know the in and outs of integrating crypto, yet i have zero game development skills, and i have no idea how much it will cost, and will it even get users.
Any help would be well appreciated! and looking for partners if anyone wants to start that.

Thank you!
With the coding knowledge you have all you can do is to develop a site which can be a casino but it doesn't make a casino in reality.

To start an online casino first you need to have capital like huge capital to get the license and to manage the bankroll for a while even if you set the highest winning reward is minimal range like only few thousands, then you need to reach the people because there are hundreds of other existing casinos are here so for the marketing alone you need influencers as well as funds.
2128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Futures Trading is not for everyone on: July 30, 2022, 01:27:45 PM
If you are a crypto trader using spot I advice you should stick with it till you become a professional trader, just because you start futures and win three rounds of short or long buys doesn't mean you are officially a pro trader....

I thought I was a pro coming from spot trading, I used 300$ which I planned to use to DCA into a project but a man can dream, my first attempt was successful, which net me 50$ and the second was 100$, the third round was 40$ and I close the trade for the day...

On the second day I lost everything, I now officially accept that I am far from been a pro trader, at least that's what I thought 🤔.
You thought you're a pro in the day one but the next day you turned upside down which shows how people are jumping into conclusions too quickly. I am not advising trading futures to anyone as well but if you're going good at spot trading then sticking with it sounds good and we can't be rich too quick as we dream of, everything will take time so yiu may take years and decades to achieve your financial goals so be patience and keep working on goals.
2129  Other / Meta / Re: Would you be interested in promoting Bitcoin projects/services for free? on: July 30, 2022, 08:25:36 AM
I voted for yes, since I would like to hold bitcoin banners anywhere if possible but as some of others mentioned since I am already taking part in signature and avatar campaign sonI can't change it right away but the only free for now is personal text which is also occupied by bitcoin in it, so if you have anything for personal text then I would love to and in future I may wear avatar and signature as well.
2130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can trading be likened to gambling and how so? on: July 30, 2022, 07:15:54 AM
Yes it is, but with the example you had posted it seems the trading as well as sport betting needs more analysis before going for the bet so it makes it as not something that rely completely based on the luck. However there are also people who do trade just the way of gambling which should be avoided and its always important to stick with the strategies of our own to reduce the risk factor.
it might happen. you are right, that there are traders who trade by relying on their luck. this may be similar to gambling, but the value of trading I don't think so. maybe with futures trading, could be linked.

Gambling, be it a casino or a sportsbook, we don't have the awareness to manage wins or losses. we will bet on something with the possibility of winning or losing.
but in trading, it will be different. because we will consciously determine whether to sell at a loss or with a profit. the difference maybe is our waiting time.
Gambling with responsibility comes with managing the funds as well so it can be similar in one perspective but I don't say both are same because it is not done by exactly the same people all the time, even stock trading can be the big gambling in my opinion because where more people are losing than the people who are making profits.
2131  Other / Meta / Re: Why are there no official moderators for Other? on: July 29, 2022, 04:52:06 PM
The only possible reason is the section doesn't get that much reports to be handled by a dedicated staff so the board will be handled by the global mod themselves. Also I remember theymos mentioned somewhere that he has no interest of hiring any staffs for the moderation in the near future so global mods has to to all the work to sort those report5and clear the spam posts and threads.
2132  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why did you choose to support the sports team you are supporting? on: July 29, 2022, 03:53:21 PM
Hello everyone, I recently have started to develop an interest in sports. I saw a few games from the ongoing Euro women cup and liked the feeling of excitement watching the games gave me. I have asked around and I have been informed that a new football season will soon begin plus it is a great time to pick a team to support, so I'm here to ask, what criterias did you consider before choosing to support a team?
You may like the person who is in the team like in soccer people support the team just for Ronaldo or Messi and the name varies from games to games and which game is popular in your nation. For me I sm not that much interested in sport betting but for the sport I always like to support the team which represent the nation, or something where I belong to also I am die hard fan of some players characters on and off the ground so I just go with those team.
2133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can applications/games that promise coins and tokens as rewards be trusted? on: July 29, 2022, 08:15:01 AM
I have come across a couple of applications and games promising various redeemable tokens as rewards for completing simple task like walking or just playing simple games etc. some examples of these applications are STEPN, Sweatcoin, Crypto PopCoin, bitcoin blast etc. How well can I trust these apps? Has anyone here made anything of value from either playing the games or using such applications?
You can trust the token but not the value they proposed because they are giving out them for everyone then the supply will keep increase so without any demand the value is going to down and further until zero. So those rewards are nothing but which is same thing that exists now recreating the same thing with new technology still with no actual real utility.
2134  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: July 29, 2022, 07:13:58 AM
To be honest multiplayer games that is actually goes with the trend of 2022, like high graphics, more realistic and better gaming combined gambling experience. More of an esport but accessible to everyone with the convenience of paying and getting rewards in the decentralized money.

2136  Economy / Economics / Re: Social media, now looking more for business than for socializing. on: July 28, 2022, 06:06:13 PM
Do you think social media is now becoming more a place for business than socializing, Could it be as a result of digitalization and things moving online or more people now starting business online because of need to somehow generate income or another source of income for self to survive the economic situations which is becoming tougher?

Social media is part of the digital marketing and this is the sole idea behind creating such platform. Have you heard about the paid partnership? Most of the brands are doing it with the celebrity all around the world for example Christiano Ronaldo who is paid ahuge sum for advertising something in his social media account. About the average people this can be good as well as bad, because people became rich from scratch in no time like Khaby with his reactions alone.
2137  Other / Off-topic / Re: My View on Brand-Newbies to Legendary Members in the Forum on: July 28, 2022, 04:57:04 PM
Don't judge someone's knowledge of bitcoin and bitcointalk from their ranks because there are lot of exceptions to explain the ranks is not actually determine everything, just go to the technical board where you see low ranked members who have more knowledge about how bitcoin things works than some random legendary posting in bounties or altcoin board.
2138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: advice for who are witnessing this market for the first time. on: July 27, 2022, 05:29:45 PM
Bitcoin jumped to greater high than its previous one after every bear market that is the only lesson is enough for everyone and stop being attracted by the hype of new projects which just get along with the trend. Moreover no one can outperform the market so don't rely on advices anymore than is the only advise that I want everyone to follow so all these manipulation and influence will be liquidated or more precisely diluted over time.
2139  Other / Meta / Re: Spam reserved post, edit later to hit post quota is back on: July 27, 2022, 04:26:23 PM
it would be much more useful to use the "report to moderator" option and hit them where it hurts the most, in the number of deleted posts.

I kicked out several shitposters from the Bitcoin discussion that way, they simply realized that it is not worth it for them to write posts that will be deleted.
That's really good but it would be much better if we have ban option like temporary from the forum mods if a person receives beyond certain number of deleted posts in short time frame so this can be a lesson for the members who is not giving much concentration about the quality of the posts they were making.

And another thing, people who are posting below those reserved post can be more effective in these cases so anyone who see such posts should give some attention to the post and if the person is doing such kind of thing more often then they should be reported to the campaign managers.

For 1xbit there is no comment because they never going to care anything so we can only hope that mods can take some actions.
2140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating people on Bitcoin for free on: July 24, 2022, 06:49:38 PM
IMO, we are the one who is complicating the bitcoin to an average joe because they already know how to use money so if they are supposed to spend bitcoin they can and they will but the volatility of the bitcoin is making it more of an investment and speculative asset over the currency. And then its not really mandatory for everyone to know the technical knowledge of cryptocurrencies just the basic understanding of decentralization is more than enough.

It is not enough that they just understand how to use it but also how to protect their bitcoin and other crypto. In the last bull run, many of the new crypto users are losing their crypto to scammers because they are giving away their private keys. We cannot keep new users to keep using bitcoin and crypto if we do not educate them properly. It is the least we can do to make sure that bitcoin will continue to grow.

People fell for scam mostly due to their greediness and ofcourse due to technical hacks but majority of them are falling for high return fake investments which is not only for Bitcoin but for the whole thing so called money. I beleive once they enter into the field they will get better because we are not actually going to give our credit cards to anyone so the same common sense had to be here as well.
