1261  Economy / Reputation / Re: Dabs for to offer escrow service? on: April 11, 2023, 08:46:11 AM
OP is logically correct on the other hand we can't assaisinate someone's character just based on their financial status, have you ever read a story like a homeless person returned a lost wallet of a rich man and didn't accept any favours from him so there are such kind of people also living in this world.

About this topic its clear that he isn't involved in escrowing at the moment even though someone hire him after reading the risk beyond then its their choice so they have to face the circumstances as well.
1262  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Paxful is closed. What P2P alternative do you recommend? on: April 11, 2023, 01:02:49 AM
While noones doesn't have mandatory identity verification for most countries, people should always be ready for it given the nature of these exchanges, unless you're only dealing with amounts you're fine parting with.
The platform needs some fixes in their Tos because they say someone can have $700 trading limit for email verification but without going through ID verification I can't able to access the marketplace so they made KYC now mandatory yet to make changes in the list I guess but its exact replica of Paxful and tried few trades there which works fine for me.

Thanks for the heads up. Can I confirm that you were not coming from one of these countries, see: https://support.noones.com/hc/en-us/articles/6125405610639-What-Countries-Require-ID-Verification-

and has confirmed your phone number with them when you tried the no-kyc tier?

Yes, I am not a citizen of a country mentioned in that list now I verified my ID now got access to the wallet and marketplace so for I am going to stick with $10K limits because I am not yet comfortable with proceeding further until I am satisfied with their platform experience.

So far I can see lots of glitches especially their app is not working at all apart from the chat section. Their support is awful when I tried to contact their live support it only end without connecting to any agent so only bot replies which is pretty useless so anyone who is going to use this site as alternative for pax be aware of this issues.

Yes by using centralized exchanges the deal can be better but here I feel people are ready for the price which I am quoting compared to Centralized exchanges.
1264  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 09, 2023, 03:45:57 PM
Hi friends, I have some questions for you guys about online casinos

What will you do if you don't know that a online casino will ask you for KYC after winning over 8,000$ on the platform? And you now manage to process with the verification and they failed to pass you? Can you consider such a casino a scam?

Also, imagine you get attracted to an online casino because of the bonuses they offer and you open an account and make your first deposit then you didn't receive the promised bonus, is this an act of scam or not?

I am trying to solve such an issue for someone very close to me and that the complaint he gave, I have no answer than maybe the bonus was canceled already before he made the deposit or there was a minimum deposit requirement.

Any other reasons?
About first case, if the person can't pass the KYC even after submitting the necessary documents either the user is from blocked country like where gambling is prohibited or the casino itself restricted them from playing their due to their regulatory guidelines. So if this happened to your friend then you can't blame the casino since you clearly ignored the terms while registration.

Secondly, if a casino refuse to pay the bonus even after meeting all their criteria then I won't trust them further but don't just look the bonus, make sure you read the terms as earlier which seems the issue here.
1265  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Paxful is closed. What P2P alternative do you recommend? on: April 08, 2023, 09:01:46 PM
Paxful directs their customers to Noones.com which looks to be their new brand for Global South customers.

Thanks for the info fella, just now saw this and entered into the platform which is same as Paxful UI with new name and one more point the website also carry over the feedback history of Paxful which I noticed after logged into the site. For now this seems to be my day trading platform but I encourage everyone to use platforms like Bisq that is something really p2p and completely anonymous.
1266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How not having money helped my Bitcoin journey on: April 08, 2023, 06:26:08 PM
You don't necessarily need money to make money for example lot of influencers are making money for simple tweet or a video or an article about a project so it all depends on how we convert of existing skills to money and ofcourse investment will help the money to multiply and keep on increasing. So it really depends on every individual and what kind of skills they have because there are numerous ways to make money so all we need to do is to find which one will suit you better.
1267  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Paxful is shutting down on: April 08, 2023, 04:04:14 PM
The news is shocking to me as well because those two P2P which are LBC and Paxful operated for years now shutting down one by one, for me it's still hard to find the alternative after LBC since I used to be a day trader. So what are there real alternatives now?

I know that Bisq is true P2P but as I said before still the volume for my fiat is zero so hopefully I can see some volume here after. The P2P offered by Binance and other centralised exchange is the real reason behind the shutting down of LBC and Paxful!!!
1268  Other / Meta / Re: Spammers and Burst Posters only on: April 07, 2023, 07:20:14 PM
It is possible to make a post under 5 minutes which may not violate any forum rules so its subjective to the intention of the post not the numbers, usually campaigns consider there should be atleast 30 mins gap between their post or else it will be considered as burst posting then people wrote x number of posts in a notepad or somewhere then keep posting it in between the right intervals that is why most of the signature campaigns have max cap post towards post quota for weekly payments but you can make as much as you want.
1269  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase capital investment on: April 07, 2023, 04:17:19 PM
Snip~
If we are a business owner then of course you would be always be mindful on how profitable you would really be and on whatever modifications or steps you would be planning on doing then it would really be entirely
be depending on you.We arent that blind on whats good or bad for our business, the main aim we do have is on how to hook up people and make them stay considering that competition is really that high when it comes to this industry which you would be needing to think on how you would really be making yourself get attached into those top performing sites or companies.
Making up a company to be profitable is something the main challenge for a business needs to pass on.
The challenges are more and some of those are beyond our control as a business owner like a policy change from the government can shatter the entire business which happened many times all over the world so to be successful while doing business we should be keen, cautious and aware of policy changes and if we get the glimpse before it actually change then we can take necessary precautions.
1270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is a custodial wallet to a hardware wallet on: April 07, 2023, 11:33:21 AM
I recently purchased some Bitcoins butAccording to most posts and replies on this forum it seem the best way to hodl Bitcoin is to use a hardware wallet as long as you can keep it safe.
Well is the hard ware wallet better than a custodial wallet??
Just for the sake of explanation custodian wallet is bank whereas the hardware or non custodial wallet is your own vault so which gives access to your money and complete control of it. When it comes to hardware its more secure because it keeps the assets safe even if we connect it to an infected device but everything comes with pros and cons so the negative side of hardware wallet is it can be damaged physically by accident, etc.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online casino always take risks? on: April 07, 2023, 09:23:16 AM
I am just curious about how does online casino pay for their promotion on their influencers? Where does their earning comes from? How will you get scammed when you try online casino? How can you tell that online casino is safe?
Have you made any research about how casino operates before asking this question?

Casino is one of the profitable business so as long as the casino manages to attract users they will be able to make more profits because house edge always favours the casino sides for most of the games. However the casino also needs to have enough resources to pay for the winners incase the winning amount exceeded their profits to keep their business alive.

Regulated online casinos are safe because it's under the guidelines of license provider so don't think something we do online will become scam.
1272  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase capital investment on: April 06, 2023, 08:56:56 PM
Making money from their money is called investment and people who do are known as investors but majority of people are earning money in the form of salary who are my statement is for because they don't realise even if they are earning more than their previous year the inflation nullifies the appreciation of salary so they are not moving anywhere just stuck and live with their job forever.

You can make a profit not only from investments, but also from business. You can create a business that will make a profit and invest the profits in the further development of the business. The advantage of a business is that it can generate consistent profits if it is well built and managed properly. But running a business takes a lot of time, which is why many owners aspire to become investors.

Business is most profitable for an individual where there is no doubt but we also need to look at the success rate of business started in the recent years which is struggling to make anything or just went bankrupt so its a very long time process and even take generations to built the successful business empire that is why it's not under my list but people who are on that way can fo that only if they have enough knowledge and financial backup to support the loss.
1273  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Participating in Mixer Signature Campaign on: April 06, 2023, 06:23:55 PM
^ yeah I saw both the extremes of availability of signature campaigns on bitcointalk and also its evolution, there was a time its available for everyone then in 2017 people found they can make money stumbled on bitcointalk with tons of accounts to make money via bounties and campaigns then in 2018 merit system was introduced to dodge that and it worked well compared to activity requirements alone for ranking up.

Well as an user we also need to be picky when choosing what we choose to wear, I am never going to put anything related to investment scam because from my experience everything went as scam over the period, then now gambling its legal in my region and I do gamble as well occasionally so I took the chance and making use of what bitcointalk gave us which is something called signature, we can even advertise our own service(s).
1274  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Participating in Mixer Signature Campaign on: April 06, 2023, 11:35:47 AM
It is just a precautionary measure from the administration side of bitcointalk since the most reputed mixing service is under seize now so they don't want any legal issues for the staffs but as a user it's your own decision whether you want to participate or stop due to the risk behind advertising mixing service. However I don't feel there is much threat for signature campaign participants even if the mixing service face legal actions so just choose it in your own.
1275  Economy / Economics / Re: Should you save, when you are wealthy? on: April 06, 2023, 07:43:58 AM
AFAIK, most people on this world never stop earning no matter how much money they own at the moment and the reason for this varies from one to another but majority just don't want to stop because they want to create wealth even for their upcoming generations and it's a good thing to do but if they are making money in the honest way then it's appreciable and can inspire lot others to follow the same path.
1276  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase capital investment on: April 05, 2023, 08:33:17 PM
You can't buy money we can earn money and that is what you're talking about.

There are lots of ways to increase your capital and what you said is one among others and its even easier to let the investment itself to grow up so with the compounding itself over longer period the returns will be a lot higher.

But for someone who start from zero may not income sources like rental income and others so they need to sell their ideas which can make them more money.

I think everyone's way of making money is different. There are those who make money with money, like trading and the like, then put their money into investments. It actually doesn't matter where they get the money from. The most important thing is to keep their investment growing.
Making money from their money is called investment and people who do are known as investors but majority of people are earning money in the form of salary who are my statement is for because they don't realise even if they are earning more than their previous year the inflation nullifies the appreciation of salary so they are not moving anywhere just stuck and live with their job forever.
1277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 05, 2023, 04:15:36 PM

If a casino is doing such trick by giving away fake numbers then sooner or later they will get caught in some way...

casinos that do this will never be found out, that's because reliable casino employees never tell that casino X or Z promoted bonuses for 1000 people and only gave bonuses for 500 people, I don't know what criteria casinos use to hire their employees, but the fact is that the employees who know everything about the casino never open their mouths to speak ill of the casino and expose everything they know about the casino, so far this system has worked well, that's why we will never know if the casinos always tell the truth or not
Most of the cryptocurrency casinos are operated with less number of employees so the operators choose them only when they are trusted enough but any casino will take such risk which will end their money making business one day when they get caught probably via ex employee cause the competition in crypto casino is getting higher so as far as my assumption they won't give fake numbers just to attract customers.
1278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: @Active Members of Bitcointalk: Why have you created an Account here? on: April 05, 2023, 07:02:51 AM
The alternative forums mentioned in OP comes nowhere near to bitcointalk in terms of sharing actual knowledge.

I created an account here to learn more about bitcoin because I knew about bitcoin in 2014 if am not wrong but not convinced to invest even a penny that you have been worth thousands now but later 2017 I realised I missed the train now I don't want to miss again so I came here and learnt what is money which I never taught in all of my schooling period then I understand important of investment, compounding and everything make sense now.
1279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trade like Robot (Robot doesn't have emotions) on: April 05, 2023, 05:46:04 AM
I am right at predicting the next move, but, my emotions are not in control they make my trade go wrong by moving stop loss, increasing leverage.
Is it correct statement that we should trade like robot ?

Trading with complete control over your emotions is a good thing because it will lead to better decision taking ability so more profits but humans do have emotions which can't be controlled all the time, just talking the reality here so it's okay if you made mistakes which made some loss but that is not the end, it's just another lesson so it will make you as better human as well as trader so do at it's best at what you're doing either it's trading, working, any job which will give the rewards based on how you're sculpting yourself in person along with skills.
1280  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: knowing the basic concept is enough for a beginner on: April 04, 2023, 05:25:00 PM
I have been in the forum for years still I am not good at technical knowledge of cryptocurrency even trading but I am not stopping myself, I came here and keep learning from veterans as well as from newbies a lot so keep reading which will eventually get you to better understanding about everything especially money so knowing the rules itself enough to be here on the forum then you will learn anything and everything over the time.
