Which is the best Bitcoin hardware wallet?
If you only need to store bitcoin Trezor has the most options for users. Ledger Nano S is in second place because you cannot yet use it with a phone or protect accounts with passphrases. If you need to store Ether and Ether Classic in addition to bitcoin Ledger Nano S is your only choice at the moment.

Armory runs of top of Bitcoin Core so having Core running is essential.

wallet.mytrezor.com/ seems to be stuck on the loading screen entire day, is anyone having any issues ?
No, try going to application settings at the bottom of screen and changing server to localbitcoinschain.com

I would be very careful downloading a .rar from an unknown source. Extracting could deliver a nasty payload to your computer. A legitimate instructional course could have been put up on a website. These exploits tend to occur later at nite on weekends when the forum is slow.

$99 cost of Trezor is cheap for security you get. If you are really on a budget the new Ledger Nano S is only $64 on Amazon.
As I have said before. If you don't have 100 dollars to invest in a hardware wallet then you aren't storing enough coins to justify that level of security anyway. So a lurker not a holder get with the program.

Usually the only real winners in lawsuits are the lawyers. I was expecting more than a 36% haircut. I would not be surprised when Bitfinex comes online again if you want to unlock your account and withdraw funds you have to agree to the terms of the socialized loss. If you do not and reserve your right to sue your account stays locked. We will see.

Most bitcoin malware replaces the destination address, and some are keyloggers to steal your passphrase. I do not think 2 FA will give you absolute protection in that case. If you like Electrum I think the safest way to use it is with Trezor to sign transactions, and always double check to make sure the address has not been replaced. If you use Electrum with Trezor 2 FA is not really needed.

I mean that it's good to keep several copies of the same data at multiple physical locations. Trezor device itself is "nothing", only the words (=seed) are important.
Do not write the seed on an online computer, or actually ever on computer at all. The whole point of the hardware wallet is that the keys are only on the device and in the backup locations. When you type the seed on computer, it's technically shared with the computer (even if you didn't store it on the computer!). The computer may be compromised or may be compromised in the future. It may be shared via Internet or other ways.
If I own 2 Trezor devices, would it be possible to connect the new Trezor device to offline PC, type in the 24 word seed & this way have 2 Trezor devices that have exactly same wallets stored in them?
I'm confident that my PC does not have keylogger, however for extra safety it would be cool to be able to move the seed to a 2nd Trezor from Offline PC, if this is possible how would it be done?
Can I access the Trezor website in offline mode?
1. If this is possible I can test and make sure the Seed is working incase Trezor device breaks down.
2. Have a strong PIN and store the 2nd Trezor device on another location (lets say my home burns down and Trezor device nr1 and seed paper is lost). From my understanding todays technology it is pretty much impossible for regular thief to steal my coins if the PIN code is strong.
You have to be online to access any website, including mytrezor.com. You can certainly restore your seed to a new Trezor but you will be online while doing so. Your 24 word seed will be displayed out of order during the restore process. Thanks for the help ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) , so if there is no safe way to recover seed to a new Trezor device offline, is there atleast a offline method for me to verify that the seed is indeed correct? Q: Possibly have a online PC with fully downloaded blockchain, take ethernet cable out, insert Trezor in now offline PC with full blockchain(including my Trezor Adress created by the 24word seed), verify that the seed is correct, then wipe the Operating system from the harddrive so seed never gets exposed. come to think about it, would it not be possible if the blockchain with the wallet that Trezor created is on the Offline PC, should it not be able to verify this seed is working from this offline PC? You can verify the seed by recovering to a second spare Trezor. Take a look at security threats in the Trezor user manual. If you are using a hardware wallet routinely you should keep a spare around.

https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinMarkets/comments/4w2osg/daily_discussion_thursday_august_04_2016/We are still working out the details so nothing is set in stone, however we are leaning towards a socialized loss scenario among bitcoin balances and active loans to BTCUSD positions. The numbers being quoted are erroneous as nothing has been decided as of yet and we are still in the process of settling positions and balances. More details are to follow tomorrow. Furthermore, tomorrow we will be posting a FAQ on the blog that will answer most of the questions we have been asked over the past couple days. There is talk of a more than 60% haircut for all and issuing a new BFXCoin.

Change your subject title, looking very mis-leading. BTC-E hasn't been hacked, the problem is with your account. Contact the support and resolve your issue. Try not to create any improper panic.
Before opening the topic i'm feeling surprised about this, and damn the content inside the topic is very misleading, ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) I think appeared another cases like bitfinex. That is why the forum has an ignore list so you can avoid in the future.

There is no app wallet for ETC for Android at the moment. The safest way to store your ETC is using the Ledger Ethereum App for Ledger Nano S hardware wallet. The app (desktop only) uses different addresses for ETC and ETH very important. Ledger plans to have an Android wallet quarter four this year.

Do not forget the change address problem. If you want bitcoin that can not be traced to you and do not just want to swap your bitcoin for someone else's trusting a mixer you can use Monero to anonymize your bitcoin. Even Peter Todd recommended this method.

I'm not sure they're safe if you want to use them to save substantial funds, we don't know their credibility in the world bitcoin.
You do understand that if you use Copay with Trezor or Ledger your private keys are stored offline in the hardware wallet? Trezor and Ledger would not risk their reputation by adding support for a wallet that is not credible.

I never hear that wallet it can be scam wallet if anyone don't know about this wallet better to dont try to deposit a large amount there.. Becarefull . better to use well known wallet instead.
Copay is a trusted wallet that has been around for two years and is a brand of BitPay. Both Trezor and Ledger hardware wallets work with Copay.

Forget paper wallets and use a hardware wallet like Trezor or Ledger. If you like Copay get yourself a Ledger Nano S hardware wallet. It will safely store your private keys offline and you use it to sign transactions in Copay. Will probably be the best $65 you ever spent. I love mine and also use it to store Ether.

Bitcoin can be trusted and is not broken, the problem was a security breach at one exchange which has had problems before, that was a warning shot to use some other exchange.

The DAO attacker holds enough ETC to wreck the market at will, so take appropriate care.
