Yes, if you are not using the bootstrap, that is what it would look like while syncing

Guys, seriously
The invalid checkpoint error is on purpose - This puts your wallet in safe mode so you cannot fuck it up further. THIS IS TO PROTECT YOU FROM YOURSELVES
Follow my instructions, leave your wallet open, and STOP FUCKING WITH IT AFTER THAT
I'm not going to keep repeating the same things. Luckily all these errors are there for a reason so you guys cannot totally fuck yourselves, because quite a few of you would have already corrupted your wallet.dat files if the errors you are bitching about were not present
The chain will fix itself; Follow my instructions, leave your wallet open, and STOP FUCKING WITH IT AFTER THAT
so i can open this wellet so that the solution ?? i don't underestand I seriously do not know how to make it more clear

STUCK ON 99.73%DONE AND STILL ROLLING. LIKE A ROLLER COASTER.. ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) I HOPE IT WILL NOT BE DARK SOON UNTIL IT COMPLETES LOADING.. Ignore the bar, that is not accurate until new checkpoints are in Current block: 500127

Hi All
Can we turn Minting back on yet or do we need to wait?
cheers all
Yep, stake away!
|
|
|
@igotspots
yes, i know that, what i want to know is how long does it keeps rolling and rolling.. sorry for the rude questions dude,
Until all the old blocks are kicked out. Then it will make new checkpoints When that message goes away, the fork can be considered successful

For anyone new to v1.6, we are currently on block 500126

@IGOTSPOTS
i followed your instructions and the wallet is running fine, but it always keeps "invalid checkpoin found" and its says downloaded 500000 of 521903 blocks of transaction history (95.80%done) it keeps over and over again for how many hours.. what is your assessment with this spots. thanks you..
Known Issues Invalid Checkpoint Alert - This is expected and actually a good sign. It's showing the bad blocks are being invalidated properly

Getting an error when building from source: /usr/include/qt4/QtCore/qlist.h:412:17: error: invalid use of incomplete type ‘class QUrl’ new (current) T(*reinterpret_cast<T*>(src)); ^ In file included from src/qt/bitcoingui.cpp:8:0: src/qt/bitcoingui.h:30:7: error: forward declaration of ‘class QUrl’ class QUrl; ^ In file included from /usr/include/qt4/QtCore/qobject.h:50:0, from /usr/include/qt4/QtGui/qwidget.h:47, from /usr/include/qt4/QtGui/qmainwindow.h:45, from /usr/include/qt4/QtGui/QMainWindow:1, from src/qt/bitcoingui.h:4, from src/qt/bitcoingui.cpp:8: /usr/include/qt4/QtCore/qlist.h:418:17: error: invalid use of incomplete type ‘class QUrl’ (reinterpret_cast<T*>(current))->~T(); ^ In file included from src/qt/bitcoingui.cpp:8:0: src/qt/bitcoingui.h:30:7: error: forward declaration of ‘class QUrl’ class QUrl; ^ make: *** [build/bitcoingui.o] Error 1
Do I have to add QUrl to the .pro file or something? I did not have this error on earlier builds (probably due to the new browser) Old one used Qt4, new one uses Qt5

lol fatal error when i run the application 1.6version
This will happen if you don't follow instructions, correct. It is on purpose because if it was not there, you would have just corrupted your wallet.dat by not listening. You're welcome

without proper block explorer data we'll never get out of this mess, and dev, you obviously didn't add the code rejecting connections to old wallet versions, it's pretty lame i might say
Working just fine for pretty much everyone. I'd say it's the opposite of lame ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Pretty sure the block explorer will be back very shortly, the new wallet has been out for like 2 hours lol plz don't make yourself more clown, only block explorer can prove anything Lol whatever homie. Great way to get future responses from me ![Kiss](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/kiss.gif)

Here is the long-awaited update to DigiCube, which I am still labeling as a development release. This wallet is not yet perfect, but is a work in progress that I am only posting prematurely to get the chain moving again. I do not normally post something in this iteration before a final build, but it's been long enough and we need to get the blockchain moving again Upgrade ProcessThis is only a little more detailed than a standard fork. To update to DigiCube v1.6, please follow these instructions: 1) Close all DigiCube wallets that are running 2) Backup wallet.dat in as many places as you feel comfortable with 3) Delete all files in this data directory, but leave wallet.dat and DigiCube.conf here4) Download the Bootstrap for block 500k here: http://freestaking.com/downloads/wallet/DigiCube16-Bootstrap.zip5) Extract these two files to the same folder as in Step 3 6) REMOVE ALL NODES. Use these two, and only these two, nodes in DigiCube.conf, until more people have had time to update:
addnode=46.105.158.205 addnode=98.144.161.18
7) Ensure the only files in this folder are the two blk files from the bootstrap, DigiCube.conf, and wallet.dat ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Open DigiCube v1.6 and enjoy the new experience - Not following these instructions will result in an error when loading the wallet
NOTE: It is highly suggested to go to debug window and do 'repairwallet' without the 's to ensure all coins are displaying properly There is no loss between forks, but when wallet.dat is loading into a bootstrap it does not verify all blocks as thoroughly without a rescan Known IssuesPeriodic wallet crashes from the debug console window - Will fix later; priority is to get chain moving again ASAPInvalid Checkpoint Alert - This is expected and actually a good sign. It's showing the bad blocks are being invalidated properly Please report how the wallet performs. Yes, the landing page for web is loaded like crazy right now - This is to stress test wallets and see how much information they are able to process in that tab, they are not permanent
The most up to date information on the situation as a whole can now always be found in-wallet by using the 'On the Web' tab Wallet crashes have been fixed. New wallet is uploaded: http://freestaking.com/downloads/wallet

hey spot when the blok 500k come i have 19k cube and i get stake 5k but now new wellet i see 14k cueb whay ?? i loss 5k
NOTE: It is highly suggested to go to debug window and do 'repairwallet' without the 's to ensure all coins are displaying properly There is no loss between forks, but when wallet.dat is loading into a bootstrap it does not verify all blocks as thoroughly without a rescan PLEASE read the entire post. I didn't write all that for nothing If your balance is wrong after repairwallet, then you were mistaken what you actually had before block 500k
