2141  Other / Off-topic / Re: Working over 20 years still poor on: May 18, 2023, 02:08:15 PM
We all have the same 24 hours in a day, some very wealthy people come from nothing. It all depends on mindset & work ethic. Some people just will not accept failure or even mediocrity. Attitude is very important, if you work hard & always try to better yourself then on average you will do better than a lazy person who doesn’t like putting the hours in. Just work hard & be the best version of yourself.

You're being right mate, can we account what we use our time for within the 24hrs everyone is blessed with each day, we can't expect to have same result with others busy in developing theirselves, what are we doing, are those things worth accountable for, do they add value to our lives, can we be proud of having something to show forth as a result, we must be very careful not to let same opportunities ahead of us pass us by with other things we do that gives us no chance to make discovery of our own self.
2142  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: What will you do when you discover that the founder of BTC is your father? on: May 18, 2023, 02:02:39 PM
Well i believe that this is more or less like a mirage or an illusion but if it happens to be so that my father is the one behind the development of bitcoin or any huge project that has turn a global success, i will do nothing than to position myself to learn more and remain more loyal than ever before, i will ensure that i key into the full understanding of the entire system because that will be the only thing that can make be have mastery over the asset and legacy he has developed wgich he will leave behind after he's gone.
2143  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: One overlooked factor. on: May 18, 2023, 01:58:12 PM
I was just wondering, one reason that has been overlooked as to why BTC has remained a dominant value of exchange to those who have come to accept it is, the advent of the internet and the idea of cryptocurrencies being on a block chain network which operates on the internet or online as fondly called.

There's no how you can made mention of cryptocurrency any where without first considering bitcoin in anything, not because it's the first cry in the world but because it's the only most acceptable and reliable digital currency in cryptocurrency that has maintained it value over 14 years ago, other cryptocurrencies are pirate copy of the first digital currency bitcoin.

As long as institutions in the country are dependent on the internet or web to transact and carry on with daily trades and commerce, cryptocurrencies would remain a feature that would  keep getting audience and users.
No matter how the government tries to ban or limit the use of cryptocurrencies, the main option should be to stop the internet from functioning. I bet this can't happen, as the disaster bound to happen would be tremendous.

Government cannot stop bitcoin, if not they would have done that along the ago, they have although make every necessary moves to achieve that but all avail not because bitcoin has maintained it standard and also meet the target required needs of the people.
2144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: May 18, 2023, 01:34:19 PM
Is it possible to invest 100$ in altcoin and turn to 7,000$? Have this ever happened to anyone on here? Is this even possible?.

It's very possible and has happened before this time, many people that have invested in some year back made a huge s of money on altcoins and they hodl them, the target is all about the bullrun season whereby the bitcoin reaches it all time high and set a new record for another, during this period, every other cryptocurrencies also surges and move up, but only few may not make reasonable changes and try to go down the opposite, those are the ones we often refer to as shitcoins.
2145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Meme Coins ? on: May 18, 2023, 01:27:06 PM
These days everyone is talking about the Meme coins and they are trending. Do you like investing in MEME coins ?

Apparently yes, because there's potential in them to make money provided that one has the understanding of how to run and manage everything concerning altcoins, this has to do with being experienced in it, talking the bold step for risk and making an investment on the desirable coin and that will last long unlike the ones that dies along the way like flame fading away, some investors have made pretty cool money in the past but now we have only few once that are true and genuine projects.

Do you like Meme coins and what are your Opinions on Meme coins. I understand Meme coins have no use case but they have hype and that's what you need to make money. Yes, the narrative of Meme coin is very short lived but it may give you 50x or 100x returns within no time.
[/quote]

The higher their hype the higher the risk, they can fall at any time without prior notice to the least bearable amount, one must be very conscious of the investment and not to take too much time before selling once they realize some earnings through it.
2146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Assess a Memecoin and Not Get Scammed ;) on: May 18, 2023, 12:59:14 PM
There's no guarantee no matter how that one cannot get scamm with these memecoins becau they are many, we are only seeing pepe coin now trending, we don't know which one next, maybe by the the present ones would have also been out in place must as those before them, so whenever you are investing on NFTs, have it at the nack of your mind that it's a risk taking idea ad it's fifty fifty, you can also do your own research in finding more about them.
2147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin - PEPE on: May 18, 2023, 12:37:42 PM
PEPE Coin is a meme coin's trending in the cryptocurrency market, which was surprised to many people including me, seen PEPE Coin listed in Binance Exchange platform in a short period of time, which early investors really Cash out with amazing profits with respect of the PEPE Coin price at the first stage and second stage of pump is going to take place as a normal culture of crypto.

We shouldn't get confused with the hype on Pepe coin or the enlisting Binance has done towards the memecoin, this is not their first time of doing euch on all other altcoins that have turned a scam today, we have a number of them like that, but let's expect more to come out of this before and after the halving, but investors must also take caution with their investment not to go too far in putting hige amount they can't afford to loose into the coin because such can speedily rise and thesame time comes down completely.
2148  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: May 18, 2023, 11:30:22 AM
If people could directly find this Bitcointalk forum through search engines, social media, or other sites, they would not have a bad experience of feeling cheated by a scam casino. And for people who want to create a new casino, you can also interact with us here to find out what games you want to add to the new casino so they can immediately work and create a casino with a different look. But those people may have their own views on making casinos, and maybe they follow the existing trends.

The funny aspect of this is that you will hardly see this forum being advertised on any social media platform but yet it's ever relevant and well recognized globally, but through the use of the search engine as you've mentioned, one can see this platform as one of the recommendation given on articles or threads created about gambling on the forum, but for the sake of those already on the forum, they have the upper edge to utilize every opportunities found with the gambling sites present on this forum.
2149  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: May 18, 2023, 10:35:19 AM
Of course we can`t predict 100% even if we have all information. If it would be so, we needn`t all these competitions - we can just predict the result and don`t waste time. But i think that we can call the AI the next step of the statistics. Using the statistics we can make an analyze of some event. The AI can make the same just faster. And without human factor.

Using AI is not a bad idea, but we must know that it is not in every aspect of gambling that this technology should be applicable for us, there are scenarios that we will need the human thinking a d reasonings to effect a decision, everything is not to be keft in the hands of this technology without us taking proper and necessary actions before we may not be able ro anymore, though i believe in the many advantages the AI technology brought in so far, thing which should have taken time could be achieved in more lesser time.
2150  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: May 18, 2023, 10:10:56 AM
That’s why its very important to know about the casino before investing any money into it but if it’s actually a well reputed casino and they have declined your kyc verification I highly doubt it’s a scam considering the amount was 8000$. I say this keeping in mind that crypto currencies make insane amounts of money and they wouldn’t ruin their reputation over a small amount as 8000$.

We can't predict them enough but all we should do is our own bedt in ensuring that we have dealt with every single opportunities that may try to pull us into their trap, scam in gambling today is not a joke because they ensure that they come up with that thing they think entices you about gambling to get you captivated, that's why we must also not be too greedy or desperate in making online money from gambling.
2151  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: May 18, 2023, 09:51:50 AM
Street gambling is often common with those that have the background of being born on the street or lived in such environment where street gambling is more predominant there, it's a local and olden days way of gambling right before the online gambling platforms comes onboard, people enjoy this kind of gambling because they make friendliness through it, but nowadays it has turn to something else whereby street gambling is believed to be practiced by the giants on the street, this are the extremely addicted and weird local set of gamblers.
2152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some needed features of an online casino. on: May 18, 2023, 09:38:47 AM
I think ive heard some casinos that has features that was called responsible gambling on which they will monitor the activity of the gambler is he is already over betting or spending too much time on gambling on which it is really good

It's good on the gamblers side but bot encouraging on the casino side because that's part of the ways they make more money to their casino business, for an average gambler, i think settings control measures shouldn't be a difficult task to do, some cannot just set some limits to how far they go in gambling or any other activities they do.

the problem with this is that for sure only few casino will implement this because the profit that they will earning is reduced unless they really care on gamblers. Though if there are really regulations about it then it could be a good use to prevent addictions.

Most ofbthe casinos will not even support this at all because it will not work in their favour and talking about addiction to the gamblers involved, it's better they don't have the money at all at hand because they will always finds a means to ensure that they gambles either in physical or online.
2153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: May 18, 2023, 09:14:19 AM
This practice is not something Casinos would make cause people would abuse it. It would be so easy to bet with their money and then if they lose it all they would end up in jail and still Casino would be left without it.

Considering gamblers that were so addicted to gambling and those that have nothing else as a source of income than what they get through gambling activities, this may not be a good idea because a large numbers of gamblers will always wanted to partake in taking loan to gamble which is not good to encourage, the casinos will be chasing after them for loan recovery, and as we all knows it's more common to loose in gambling than winning.
2154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Oldest Casinos in the World on: May 18, 2023, 08:57:48 AM
Ever wondered about the oldest casinos in the world? Well I know we are all about winning and avoiding losses from our bets however, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea if we learn about some of the oldest casinos that has been around. It will surely be of benefit to you, maybe not today but someday.

Here is a disclaimer for the moderators. I am not in anyway affiliated with the websites whose link I will be providing. I do not write for them, neither am I promoting them.

2155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: May 18, 2023, 08:39:10 AM
We often intend to play little and gamble small, but unfortunately that is often an illusion. If you like to gamble too much, you may end up betting larger amounts over time. The problem is also often that you no longer have the realization that you are gambling. You have a blur in your eyes and then you are only concerned with money. But gambling is not the way to stay safe, it would be better to stay away from it altogether.

We can still gambles and stay safe, ask me how and i will tell, gambling needs a disciplined kind of lifestyle that must be made with caution, not everything the eyes see it must get attracted to, there's a way we can limit our addiction to gambling if we truly intends to do so, there's always a way we can gamble responsibly without having a negative impact in our life, this is a game of freedom, it's a choice we make while gambling, if to have fun or make money.
2156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is the solution to traffic congestion on the bitcoin network? on: May 17, 2023, 02:39:36 PM
Recently fees skyrocketed on the bitcoin network. If we ever want to have bitcoin be more than a meme investment, and to be an actual currency, fees need to be low, and transaction times need to be faster.

What is the solution? More people need to mine? Bigger blocks? Blocks generated more often?

We need to exercise more patient till we receive an outcome on this, but not until then, ordinals is likely to continue to be in existence with the bitcoin network on the blockchain, there's also some possible suggestions that ordinals be removed completely, now the bitcoin community, developers and others involved are delibrating on a lasting solution is yet to be concluded or communicated across, you can always track the mobile when less congested before making your transactions, weekend transactions are always fast in confirmation.
2157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether to buy Bitcoin based on monthly net profits on: May 17, 2023, 02:28:22 PM
Just like Microstrategy, tether is planing to be investing more on bitcoin. But unlike Microstrategy, we do not know how bitcoin maximalist they are yet.

One thing i also believe is that not only tether is into this, there are many other companies and organizations that do buy and hodl bitcoin consistently without us knowing as long as they are not making noise about it, this are investors that don't only rely on their own coin, they uses other's invest with them to secure a guaranteed asset with bitcoin in case of times of uncertainties.

One thing to learn from is that they stated that they are putting their bitcoin holding into a self-custody wallet.

They all invest with bitcoin and have their coin in their personal wallet while their own investors will have theirs with them, what an irony.
2158  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How true on: May 17, 2023, 02:12:21 PM
Nothing good comes easily, I've doubted the truth in this statement for a while now and here am to ask, who else believes in the statement or wgp doesn't, whichever way, why??

It's always true that nothing good comes easy, which means for you to be successful in life, there are standards you must set in pursuit of them and pay every demands it involves, at the end of the day, people will only see you being successful but they wouldn't know the huge sacrifice you have given or contributed before getting to where you are, that's why they use to say, behind every goory, there's always a story.
2159  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is my turn to rule a good manifesto for an incoming President on: May 17, 2023, 02:06:57 PM
Every political candidates will alwa give the usual promises once they are in pursuit of their ambition but things don't happen the way they expect at the long run because the people will always made complaints concerning their performance, they will also act less to expectations because they have many of those they owe an appreciation for contributing to their imminent success in politics, alot or funds meant for the nation building may be diverted to other sociocultural affairs among some particular set of people leaving others behind, the president may wish well hut those surrounding him will not just allow.

I'm sure there will be no complaints whatsoever or we may say complaints are ignored if the fruits of his promises came to real and their country improved because of him in the first 3 years of whoever president has been elected. but guess what? at that time, their true colors will be revealed and most probably they are just the same as the last one. Let's give this guy time to do his thing because after he got elected, he has all the rights to make his country bright and shut out all the causes of corruption, and become their first ever just leader elected by their people.

If you made a manifesto for a presidential candidate or any political portfolio and the eventually emerge into office, that does not guarantee they will remember you to favour you or not except you're just being lucky for them to still have you in mind, this is the same thing that goes with others, they will believe the new government is not giving attention to their demands whereas there are alot of people in demand, but if you want to please everyone, you may ended up displeasing everyone, it's better to do your best with being bias and leave the rest.
2160  Other / Off-topic / Re: Working over 20 years still poor on: May 17, 2023, 01:56:28 PM
The same work some do for 5 years and make it in life, other may do it for over 20 years and still feed from hand to mouth. Can we conclude that such are individual destiny?

We are only seeing their respective result but dont mind in knowing the procedures and protocols they have been following to make their lives work out the way it appears, everything has to ro with sacrifice, for those people we see arriving in live were business oriented and opportunity maximilist, they take advantage in everything to make money, they work hard to see they they always achieve what they planned for with tangible results, they made alot of sacrifices required in business, they learn and developed their career abilities each day, they are those that maintain a business principle and law abiding.
