2141  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: May 18, 2023, 09:51:50 AM
Street gambling is often common with those that have the background of being born on the street or lived in such environment where street gambling is more predominant there, it's a local and olden days way of gambling right before the online gambling platforms comes onboard, people enjoy this kind of gambling because they make friendliness through it, but nowadays it has turn to something else whereby street gambling is believed to be practiced by the giants on the street, this are the extremely addicted and weird local set of gamblers.
2142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some needed features of an online casino. on: May 18, 2023, 09:38:47 AM
I think ive heard some casinos that has features that was called responsible gambling on which they will monitor the activity of the gambler is he is already over betting or spending too much time on gambling on which it is really good

It's good on the gamblers side but bot encouraging on the casino side because that's part of the ways they make more money to their casino business, for an average gambler, i think settings control measures shouldn't be a difficult task to do, some cannot just set some limits to how far they go in gambling or any other activities they do.

the problem with this is that for sure only few casino will implement this because the profit that they will earning is reduced unless they really care on gamblers. Though if there are really regulations about it then it could be a good use to prevent addictions.

Most ofbthe casinos will not even support this at all because it will not work in their favour and talking about addiction to the gamblers involved, it's better they don't have the money at all at hand because they will always finds a means to ensure that they gambles either in physical or online.
2143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: May 18, 2023, 09:14:19 AM
This practice is not something Casinos would make cause people would abuse it. It would be so easy to bet with their money and then if they lose it all they would end up in jail and still Casino would be left without it.

Considering gamblers that were so addicted to gambling and those that have nothing else as a source of income than what they get through gambling activities, this may not be a good idea because a large numbers of gamblers will always wanted to partake in taking loan to gamble which is not good to encourage, the casinos will be chasing after them for loan recovery, and as we all knows it's more common to loose in gambling than winning.
2144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Oldest Casinos in the World on: May 18, 2023, 08:57:48 AM
Ever wondered about the oldest casinos in the world? Well I know we are all about winning and avoiding losses from our bets however, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea if we learn about some of the oldest casinos that has been around. It will surely be of benefit to you, maybe not today but someday.

2145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: May 18, 2023, 08:39:10 AM
We often intend to play little and gamble small, but unfortunately that is often an illusion. If you like to gamble too much, you may end up betting larger amounts over time. The problem is also often that you no longer have the realization that you are gambling. You have a blur in your eyes and then you are only concerned with money. But gambling is not the way to stay safe, it would be better to stay away from it altogether.

We can still gambles and stay safe, ask me how and i will tell, gambling needs a disciplined kind of lifestyle that must be made with caution, not everything the eyes see it must get attracted to, there's a way we can limit our addiction to gambling if we truly intends to do so, there's always a way we can gamble responsibly without having a negative impact in our life, this is a game of freedom, it's a choice we make while gambling, if to have fun or make money.
2146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is the solution to traffic congestion on the bitcoin network? on: May 17, 2023, 02:39:36 PM
Recently fees skyrocketed on the bitcoin network. If we ever want to have bitcoin be more than a meme investment, and to be an actual currency, fees need to be low, and transaction times need to be faster.

What is the solution? More people need to mine? Bigger blocks? Blocks generated more often?

We need to exercise more patient till we receive an outcome on this, but not until then, ordinals is likely to continue to be in existence with the bitcoin network on the blockchain, there's also some possible suggestions that ordinals be removed completely, now the bitcoin community, developers and others involved are delibrating on a lasting solution is yet to be concluded or communicated across, you can always track the mobile when less congested before making your transactions, weekend transactions are always fast in confirmation.
2147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether to buy Bitcoin based on monthly net profits on: May 17, 2023, 02:28:22 PM
Just like Microstrategy, tether is planing to be investing more on bitcoin. But unlike Microstrategy, we do not know how bitcoin maximalist they are yet.

One thing i also believe is that not only tether is into this, there are many other companies and organizations that do buy and hodl bitcoin consistently without us knowing as long as they are not making noise about it, this are investors that don't only rely on their own coin, they uses other's invest with them to secure a guaranteed asset with bitcoin in case of times of uncertainties.

One thing to learn from is that they stated that they are putting their bitcoin holding into a self-custody wallet.

They all invest with bitcoin and have their coin in their personal wallet while their own investors will have theirs with them, what an irony.
2148  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How true on: May 17, 2023, 02:12:21 PM
Nothing good comes easily, I've doubted the truth in this statement for a while now and here am to ask, who else believes in the statement or wgp doesn't, whichever way, why??

It's always true that nothing good comes easy, which means for you to be successful in life, there are standards you must set in pursuit of them and pay every demands it involves, at the end of the day, people will only see you being successful but they wouldn't know the huge sacrifice you have given or contributed before getting to where you are, that's why they use to say, behind every goory, there's always a story.
2149  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is my turn to rule a good manifesto for an incoming President on: May 17, 2023, 02:06:57 PM
Every political candidates will alwa give the usual promises once they are in pursuit of their ambition but things don't happen the way they expect at the long run because the people will always made complaints concerning their performance, they will also act less to expectations because they have many of those they owe an appreciation for contributing to their imminent success in politics, alot or funds meant for the nation building may be diverted to other sociocultural affairs among some particular set of people leaving others behind, the president may wish well hut those surrounding him will not just allow.

I'm sure there will be no complaints whatsoever or we may say complaints are ignored if the fruits of his promises came to real and their country improved because of him in the first 3 years of whoever president has been elected. but guess what? at that time, their true colors will be revealed and most probably they are just the same as the last one. Let's give this guy time to do his thing because after he got elected, he has all the rights to make his country bright and shut out all the causes of corruption, and become their first ever just leader elected by their people.

If you made a manifesto for a presidential candidate or any political portfolio and the eventually emerge into office, that does not guarantee they will remember you to favour you or not except you're just being lucky for them to still have you in mind, this is the same thing that goes with others, they will believe the new government is not giving attention to their demands whereas there are alot of people in demand, but if you want to please everyone, you may ended up displeasing everyone, it's better to do your best with being bias and leave the rest.
2150  Other / Off-topic / Re: Working over 20 years still poor on: May 17, 2023, 01:56:28 PM
The same work some do for 5 years and make it in life, other may do it for over 20 years and still feed from hand to mouth. Can we conclude that such are individual destiny?

We are only seeing their respective result but dont mind in knowing the procedures and protocols they have been following to make their lives work out the way it appears, everything has to ro with sacrifice, for those people we see arriving in live were business oriented and opportunity maximilist, they take advantage in everything to make money, they work hard to see they they always achieve what they planned for with tangible results, they made alot of sacrifices required in business, they learn and developed their career abilities each day, they are those that maintain a business principle and law abiding.
2151  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: NITDA graduates beneficiaries of the blockchain developer scholarship program on: May 17, 2023, 01:48:46 PM
Last year, The Federal Government of Nigeria through the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) launched a blockchain developer scholarship program to train 30,000 Nigerians. The program was spearheaded by Domineum Blockchain Solution and today the graduands were presented certificate of completion by the honourable minister of communications and digital economy Prof. Issa Pantani in Abuja.

Congratulations to the beneficiaries and let's hope more good things will come out of this.

There's what we called educated illiteracy and this is the same direction the governments were approaching the matters related to the blockchain technology, if they can accept blockchain technology but deny bitcoin which is the major dependent of the technology, doesn't it seems like they gave personal intentions that could be of interest to them than the people when they kick against bitcoin adoption, such could also give them the more edge in having control over the people's finances, which is the main idea Satoshi focused on and preached about when he introduced a digital currency bitcoin, I wish all the beneficiaries could see beyond blockchain alone but also give more room to bitcoin adoption with their impact in cryptocurrency.
2152  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Paxful Don Come Back Again on: May 17, 2023, 01:42:28 PM
People should learn from experience with Paxful and any other centralized exchanges that could just scam away ones asset within a blink of an eye, as long as they are centralized, they were all the same and has the same level of risk in using them, if Paxful could create a stir within the crypto network among other investors then i see no reason why i should go back and invest on them again when i can store my crypto on a decentralized wallet.
2153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wise to stake your crypto currency on: May 17, 2023, 11:55:24 AM
In most custodian wallets like trust wallet staking is available for most crypto currencies including trx.is it better to stake such a coin or hodl it

Why should you go for a custodial wallet when you can easilyake use of a non custodial wallet that gives you control over your financial assets, if you already knows about this then still decides in using them, then always stand the chance of embracing every outcomes that may follows your decision, such could be the type that would restrict you from using your asset anytime the needs arises or got hacked when their system get attacked and left you with no recoverable seeds.
2154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can NFTs last forever? on: May 17, 2023, 11:37:07 AM
All of the NFTs you know and love today, have their data stored their on centralized servers (images, video, etc). What is only stored on the Blockchain is just the properties of the NFT itself. While you're basically the "owner" of the NFT, you could lose technically lose it if the centralized server hosting the content of the NFT goes down.

NFTs to me are just a temporary tokens used to serve a particular purpose frombthe intention of it creators, which makes it not a currency but a token, and investing on token must be with ultimate care because many are scam tokens in the market, as long as they are controlled under a central server developers they can be attacked and or controlled by anyone.

So, what's the point of investing in NFTs if they can disappear in an instant? Unless all of the content is stored on the Blockchain itself, I don't see how NFTs will be able to last forever. Are there already solutions in the works that I'm not aware of? Please enlighten me on this. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

You shouldn't invest on tokens ror a long time because they can cease to exist anytime especially during high volatility when bitcoin and crypto market goes bearish, some of these tokens goes down completely along.
2155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most altcoins are fake (wakanda) on: May 17, 2023, 11:22:51 AM
People make fake crypto to make money from stupid people, it's simple

Those that invested in their coin aren't stupid, anyone can fall their trap, though i still have to blame them for lack of proper research before investing with them, but everyone wabt to take that opportunity with cryptocurrency to make money just as some have already got from the oast this fantastic experience in making money when they invested, it's about those behind every crypto projects and not the altcoins itself.

We all here so smart and will not fall for that, but actually a lot of people are buying this and the same stuff.

One still beed to be careful through his being smart not to fall into hands, scammers continue to developed more advanced means of attacking people through online crypto investment.
2156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Assess a Memecoin and Not Get Scammed ;) on: May 17, 2023, 11:00:51 AM
Thanks for sharing this piece of information. I personally wish I knew these much earlier, I probably wouldn't have fall a victim of some scam projects. for what it's worth, I hope no one falls a victim of scammers out there, they are ever ready to run away with your money.

Then one has to narrow his research thoroughly to get the best information needed before investing for a particular altcoin or token, many newbies fall a victim because they were not aware quite alright about the basic requirements before they invested, some don't even have an idea of the risk involved, all they got to do is to invest and sit to receive their income while on a fake crypto projects, there's more risk if you don't trust those that you're investing in their project because some already had a bad record while some were in to scam investors.
2157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Confusion about sweepstakes and gambling on: May 17, 2023, 10:43:59 AM
1. Is Sweepstakes illegal in the US?[

No gambling in general is not against the law as long as there's strict attention to the guiding rules that supports each kind of sports gambling activities.

2. Is Sweepstakes gambling or not?

It's gambling, in most cases involves the use of horses yet some gamblers put in their money and gamble and the winner takes the stakes and go, it is commonly practiced in most developed countries, it's also another form of gambling which is different from the sport betting or casino gambling we are used to.
2158  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: May 17, 2023, 10:23:27 AM
We must feel disappointed because we have experienced defeat in betting and we will experience that. We cannot hope the site will return the money we used to gamble because we have gambled on their site and lost.

At this cause some gamblers will tell you they prefer going for pay back bonus in other to help them reduce lost of their entire money in the gambling attempts they made using a particular amount as stake, this kind of losses alwa increase the interest of gamblers on a hunt for bonuses, but it is very important to always note that you shouldn't gamble with the amount you can't afford loosing.

Playing gambling is everyone's choice. Some want to gamble and some don't want to gamble. If you want to gamble, you must be prepared to experience defeat, where defeat is a sure thing in gambling. Meanwhile, victory will not always come to you, so prepare some money and enjoy playing gambling and stop before your money runs out.

Everyone gambling must have expe this defeat in one way or the other, but most of which were caused by the gambler because of their pattern used and experience in gambling.
2159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: May 17, 2023, 09:57:15 AM
Whenever you're going to far with gambling then check yourself, assess yourself and get a feedback from those close to you, oook at your lifestyle in general, your financial commitment, business activities and engagement, are there recent positive and progressive changes in you, caution yourself, set rules and guidelines, avoid too much exposure to gambling opportunities and live a disciplined life, get yourself a job to engage doing if you're always less busy being occupied.
2160  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: May 17, 2023, 09:46:50 AM

It can be interesting experiment. You can learn to play some new games in such a way, you can try to predict something or test some ideas. But the main test is where you bet your own money. Until this moment your predictions can be good only for you. How someone can believe your prediction if you don`t ready to prove your words with money?
Yes demo account is mainly for learners who want to play some free games without real time deposits on fake accounts,  but then in most cases the quality of the games are not the same with those that are played with real money,  since the winning is what excite many of us,  it's important to also note the place and role of having your bet at stake.

That alone increase the ability of the player to make the best decisions while playing the games,  and since there is a difference between free games and monetized games.

Use of demo account is not the real gambling, but a learning ground to those that are beginners to learn about gambling for themselves, you may not need money to use in doing this because everything had already been set and orogrmmed on a learning platform to make use of their functions, they are not paid services and not the real gambling, but there you play, earn, win and loose which are the primary expectations you come across in real life gambling
