1241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 03, 2023, 02:03:58 PM
If you decide to quit gamble or take gamble as entertainment only, welcome to join me.

I wonder what would have prompted you to gambling that resulted into your quick decision for quitting, i also want to believe that gambling is for an entertainment and it's rare for you to discover someone saying that they are tired of being entertained, which means that this tells us more about you either being an addicted gambler or you might have lost a reasonable amount of money into gambling now regretting those actions.
1242  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for Website Recommendations on: July 03, 2023, 01:44:37 PM
to find the best affiliate programs you should take a look to sites like casino.guru and then take a look to the affiliate programs for the more popular casinos, see what programs are worth to give them a try and that way grow up your affiliates' farm. I can see in the top 10 casinos from that site links like bc, 1xslots, IceCasino, BitStarz, and some others.

Once it comes to making search for gambling website recommendation, we have a variety of options we can choose as to where we can get any from, there are different platforms we can use, but being a forum member thay have discovered about bitcointalk, I don't think it more of a necessity for going too far outside the community to search for other recommendations asides the numbers of the ones present on the gambling section of the forum, this is just to make it more simpler and easier as well when having challenges while using any after decision has been made.
1243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to get over it on: July 03, 2023, 01:05:56 PM
Getting over it is not that easy to achieve but we need to erase our minds over it and move on with life, we have to stop moving or thinking in the same direction while gambling, some will make looses and yet you will hardly noticed this with them because they have learnt how to move on with life while some will for some time remained ever noticed due to the intensity of how they were being affected by gambling losses and they cannot just let go or move on because of the cost it has left on them, yet we still needs to keep moving no matter the outcome so we can always get over it.
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 03, 2023, 12:43:33 PM
It is a standard  for minimum age to gamble to be 18-21 depending on the jurisdiction.  In my country it is 18 years old for minimum age to gamble.  But I wonder if casinos are really implementing such age limit.  I have seen some landbased casino not checking the age of a person by just letting them to go in after frisking.  While in online gambling specifically crypto gambling platform ofter not follow this minimum age limit especially when they are not asking for KYC upon registration.

I will like to adopt the age limit of 21 because being a teenage, it's still somehow a little bit risky to get exposed to gambling that early when there are many things the child can develop interest to learn and get used to at that particular age, but having additional years of three will help the child to have grown more experience about live and in learning how to descern from doing things, maturity level of a 21 uears old is far better than that of 18 year in most cases, the 18 years old boy is not the starting point to being independent completely, there are still some limitations to give till they achieve 21 years old even though the law may permit them to gamble but they shouldn't
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Crypto Games) A revolution in the gaming industry or a passing trend? on: July 03, 2023, 11:37:05 AM
A crypto game that many people are currently playing, such as an NFT game? If that's what you mean, the game has grown big along with the development of crypto itself. And the crypto game these people play is different from the game in the casino because the game doesn't use the money to play, although later if they want to have some of the items in the game, they have to buy them. And the game is said to be able to make money for its users but I don't know for sure about that because I don't play it. I only play in casinos and so far, the gambling games in casinos have progressed from a few years ago.

I want to believe he's referring to the general crypto games regardless of the categories as long as it's included among the games we could play with the use of cryptocurrency other than fiat, if we look more closely to the world gaming circles today, we can discover alot of diversifications with online gambling ever since the emergence of cryptocurrency and most of the gambling platforms have also developed interest to go along with this development by making use of advanced way of gambling whereby crypto gambling is made more easier and more better than other forms.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: July 03, 2023, 11:09:07 AM
I was threatened many times by my family members to stop gambling. Since gambling is considered a punishable offense in our country, one cannot openly indulge in gambling in our country. Sometimes law enforcement officers from gambling dens arrest criminals.

Threats are in categories when it comes to the ones coming as a result of gambling, you can manage to argue your way out with the kind of threats coming from the family members or your friends you're having, but you dare not risk any form of government threat on gambling especially when they are taking strictness on gambling in such country you may found yourself in or the local community settings where you lived in
1247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is your Gambling Pattern Like? on: July 03, 2023, 10:41:26 AM
Many of us gamble on the weekends because it's time to relax and unwind. And many gamble on weekends at night and maybe that's because we can gamble relaxedly without anyone disturbing us while playing. What is certain is that we must know when we are relaxed and not thinking or doing other things to enjoy gambling moments. And what you have to remember is not to gamble when you are not in a bad mood because that can trigger us to use more money.

I gambles anytime of the day as long as am free andless busy to get too engaged in doing other things, i also ensure that i manage my time while gambling to avoid getting too busy while gambling and leaving other things undone or unattended to, i make use of the common patterns by gambling less to avoid risk of loosing more, sometimes i go being creative and in soughting for new patterns to use after i would have sit to develop one base on what i could deduce from the game am about to set gambling for.
1248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: July 03, 2023, 10:07:56 AM
How have we shown ourselves approved in playing slots, do we really know the best way to play slot and what is inherently involved as required for playing slots, knowing that slot is more of a game that constitute luck and not by how skillful we happen to present ourselves wgile playing, we can ve winning when others are loosing and also looses when we less expect the results, it's just a randomized game that has luck factor as the main determinant for your winnings, but it has always happened that not all gamblers wins at all times they are trying to play slot.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: July 03, 2023, 09:09:00 AM
These are extreme level of madness. Here it have moved to the level of kidnapping his own grandson. With majority of the gamblers similar is the situation, but it stands within the family by promises. They could've promised to their closer ones not to gamble, but out of addiction they won't be able to control themselves. This causes problems within the family.

Addiction is one of the esteemed highest level of madness one can be found with but there are some who also gambles more frequent but haven't showed or displayed any of this madness since they know how to manage themselves without having any detrimental side effects of gambling addiction, they know how to control and adjust whenever they are going off the limit they are expected to while some gamblers couldn't achieve this personal management and balance.

The old person doesn't have any choice, here the common gamblers have got more choices to arrange money to spend. If not, even the common gamblers into these kind of activities isn't a big surprise.

That's why we could also say that maturity is mot by age, being a responsible gambler is not by age but the level of personal understanding and discipline, some will also say that gambling is a matured men's game.
1250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your rate in betting base on odds alone? on: July 03, 2023, 08:21:18 AM
How often do you win in Soccer games if you just bet based on odds by picking a team with 1.50 and 1.70?
Well, hard to answer this question properly. There are lots of various factors that affect the odds and the probability of the possible event is already matched inside the odds. That is why taking into consideration only odds will give a specific advantage to the user and users can explore the possible outcome variation by just checking the odds portal. The best website for this purpose is definitely oddsportal platform but you have to register to check odds change for getting the best results, IMO.

As for me i just considers it a risk when the odds appears in-between the two figures highlighted above, that is not a determinant for winning because they set up the odds specifically to distract some while as the match proceeds they also adjusted these same odds, but there are many people who are interested in these odds and take advantage of them because they have been used to how they manage them while gambling to always keep safe.
1251  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: New KuCoin kyc policy!!! on: July 01, 2023, 03:41:28 PM
One thing that Cryptocurrency exchanges are known for is kyc most especially the centralized ones,  and KUcoin is just trying to improve on what they already have in place
KuCoin, like other centralized exchanges, requires KYC before p2p trading, but KuCoin has granted users the ability to trade, send, and receive cryptocurrency from various locations without KYC. I believe they wanted to be like others by disallowing users from using the exchange without KYC for some trading and investment.

We should always expect KYC anytime as long as we are having a centralized exchange in use, if we think they are not demanding for such for now doesn't mean they wouldn't later in life, but by the time such would have been coming, it may be the moment we would not like having it coming as at that time due to the conditions and urgencies at hand, to stay more clear and safe, we can also consider using decentralized exchanges with no KYC request at all.
1252  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World social media day. on: July 01, 2023, 03:29:29 PM
So far from various individuals views would you say that social media has made more negative impact than the positive side?
Let's get your thoughts.

Let's dive into the benefits of social media itself, the intention for this advanced technology is to get everyone along with development trends by creating a fun fair plaforms people from across the world could meet, relate and discuss on many aspects of life, it could also be informative, educative and transformational, but it's a pity that some people have taken extra steps away from this to suit their selfish interest by using social media to scam and attack people in many ways, fake news is also what is going not too well through the social media aside diverse opportunities tht comes through the social media.
1253  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Was Nigeria actually paying subsidy on fuel? on: July 01, 2023, 03:23:03 PM
OP let me correct you and also advise you here, before you make a post or create a thread, try as much as possible to see that the aspect you will be talking about on your thread had not been created already by someone, here's a local board doesn't mean we should appear anyow we want and it wouldn'take sense spamming the board with repeated topics already discussed just as in your case, please always check if your topic has already been discussed on another thread or not, I've seen so many threads already on this subject matter on the local board.
1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Want to invest on: July 01, 2023, 03:17:24 PM
Bitcoin is the best top valuable coin right now to invest into because by the end of this year Bitcoin will increase just give Bitcoin a try, trust Bitcoin that's why i am referring you to it, talking about BAT, the choice is yours to make about your new investment, bit my advice is that don't use all your money to buy just one coin that isnt pumping.

For any newbie or beginner in cryptocurrency, what they should first have in mind is to learn to know about bitcoin being the leading cryptocurrency first before diversifying into altcoins section because they will have to get the background knowledge in cryptocurrency through their first understanding of what bitcoin is and the experience they will have along with it, then when they feels ok to go further on alts, they can make more research about them and invest on reputable ones, they should also have an idea of the possible risk involved.
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash is pumping, why? on: July 01, 2023, 03:11:58 PM
Maybe it's an indications that altseason is coming as well? I said this because my altcoins portfolio is increasing as well especially on XLM token that I hold. For BCH, it might have a good reason to make the pump and it's a good thing for holders to see BCH is going alive again despite the bear market right now. I don't mind pumps as long as major altcoins will follow as well.

If we are to experience bull season, there are some signs we need to take a look on before we can expect such to come, though this is quite believed to be a preemble to their season but what will preceed is the halving which is coming next year, then we would have sensed it as well from bitcoin because the riae will begin from the bitcoin network, so many altcoins will rise along together with it during bullrun.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or not? BTC investors need to rethink their strategy as on: July 01, 2023, 02:59:53 PM
Whatever happens, we recognize that the volatility in the crypto world is very high. Regarding all strategy and portfolio management I think HODL is still the best choice for all situations.

More to say on this is to always get reminded that bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency one can still hodl over a long period without having any fear of missing out, we may also hodl other cryptocurrencies but on a short range, when we buy the dip then we make sure to hodl till we have more opportunities to make us sell after we would have realized more than we've invested, if you're holding you're safe but how long you hodl determines what you're holding.
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommend me altcoin to DCA till halving on: July 01, 2023, 02:43:51 PM
Common man what kind of question is this? If you want to do DCA you should find an altcoin man. No one can recommended it to you. Because it's depend on when to start the DCA, When to Exit the DCA, How long do I need to DCA, How much should I DCA weekly/ monthly and etc... This depends on person to person man.  Wink

If we are to also take a look at the numbers of altcoins we are having daily been introduced to the crypto network, we cannot get enough of these because there are many of them having the better potentials to make their investors proud over time, but the challenging aspects of it is on how to locate one in this case, which will still come back to advising OP more better to learn how to make his own research because he will always have the need to do so.
1258  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using ToS against users normal? on: July 01, 2023, 02:14:52 PM
Sure, sending notifications of any changes is a good practice, but did Stake.com actually obliged themselves (in the ToS) to send notifications of any changes? If not, you'd still have to read them everytime you log in, if you want to practice what you preach.
This is the cheatsheet of every casino that lawmakers should check and I knew every service is required by law to do that(notifying when there's a change in TOS at least 2 weeks before). But stake mentioned on its TOS that they can change their TOS with or without notifying its users so you need to read it regularly like its just 3-5 lines sentences amp.

I don't see anything that calls for worrying oneself on the issue of discussion concerning recent experience with the stake.com gambling platforms, all they requested is for you to complete a KYC procedures required to have a good catch on every elements of money laundering attempts, i hope by now the conditions given is not what ordinary person cannot afford to give knowing that they are KYC casino.
1259  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: July 01, 2023, 01:57:34 PM
We should not always accuse casinos as scam when we are having some challenges in using them because most of all these challenges are coming through the mistakes we do in which we may have the awareness of it or not, but what is expected of us is to get used to the way things are being done, most of this encounters were due to our carelessness or suspicious activities we engage doing on their websites, though this doesn't mean that there are no casinos with bad reputation but they are few and the the ones caused by gamblers are more than the rate at which the casinos operate in a phishy way.
1260  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: July 01, 2023, 01:15:53 PM
We cannot consider any betting without money as gambling. There are some situations where money is not exchanged but is treated as a bet. I have some friends who sometimes bet with some others friends where they don't prioritize money. But if they lose the bet they are obliged to give treats. Can i consider such bets as gambling? Definitely not, Because there is no direct relation to money. Moreover, no one has any regrets even if they lose.

Staking down your money is what makes it to be called gambling and also gives you the right to have the opportunity to claiming your money if you win since you've taken the risk of loosing the money through gambling by staking it, without money being involved people will not regards it as gambling than child's play because they believe you're still not giving or making a ground on what you're playing without betting it.
