221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: my hold coins for the coming years on: February 04, 2018, 01:57:55 PM
Well, alts are are alts and I think in this industry they will remain as alternative to bitcoin.
We all know alts are used just for profits. It's easier to use in trading and other activities.
People uses bitcoin, exchange tonsome promising alts, make profits, withdraw and exchange it with bitcoins again or fiat money because it's the medium. No one can really buy things with new alts or particularly with alts. That is why logically, alts are not used as store value in long term.
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: This time its different on: February 03, 2018, 11:54:12 PM
Are you saying this because Facebook has blocked ads on cryptocurrencies and somehow you are thinking that there will be less people interested in it.

Well Facebook is a major social media that influences anything that exist but I think it won't affect btcoins and other clubs that much.

As long as many are already equipped with bitcoins knowledge, it will spread.

Fake news will remain false.
We just need to focus more on the gold effects to help it develop more.

We can't do anything much about the banning and it's up to us to let them see how useful it is.
223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now is the best time to invest in bitcoin, says digital currency hedge-fund mana on: January 31, 2018, 08:23:37 PM
you know what, the funny thing about investing in bitcoin is that it doesn't matter how many people and who says it is a good or even bad idea to invest in bitcoin. nobody listens until it is too late.

if they say it is good, nobody buys.
if they say it is scam, nobody sells.

but as soon as a rise starts they rush to buy.
and as soon as a dip starts they rush to dump.
... always too late.

Could not agree more.
I don't understand why they need someone to tell them that BUY today or its the right time to buy.

They worry about the losses and getting afraid of buying more.

There is nothing that will beep them saying " I am the lowest price for now and start buying ".

Then when it starts to rise, everyone will go saying " it will go to the moon "
Haha how many moons are there to be visited by bitcoin ?
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to store some Bitcoins? on: January 31, 2018, 08:07:00 PM
There is NO RIGHT time.
Just wait for cheaper prices to lessen your risks if you are willing to actually buy some bitcoins.

Frustrating yourself won't help you jump in. Don't mind the slightest difference mate. Its not that you are forced to buy a whole bitcoin right.
Buy willingly and with the amount only comfortable to you. The higher you invest the higher the risk and we don't you not having goodnight sleeps you know.
225  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money for school fees. Invested in bitcoin. on: January 31, 2018, 07:33:34 PM
There are many ways to earn bitcoins and other coins. You don't need to invest if you don't have anything. Risking your tuition fee is very risky especially nowadays.

Well, try finding some jobs here and do good to get your money back. Do not do it again next time.

Bounty campaigns will suite you I think. Signature campaigns are a bit stricter nowadays. Hope you pay your bills in time mate.
226  Economy / Economics / Re: Choosing the one | What I think! - Real Job or Full Time Crypto! on: January 31, 2018, 07:24:58 PM
I think the decisions will depend on your skills. Maybe some computer geeks might go full time on this or have real job too.

But yes I do agree that most of the people are jumping into cryptos because of the income it gives yet no stability and assurance also isolated from people.
I would go for a real job too because I am in a medical field and interaction is very important to me.

I like your insight and well explained thought. I could not say it any better.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Government Claims Bitcoin Cash Is ‘Original’ Bitcoin on: January 31, 2018, 07:06:31 PM
If I am a king and said that I AM the real bitcoin would you believe me ?  Grin

In my own opinion, BCC are easier to manipulate by the Government than Bitcoins. That's is why government is spreading such statement. Bcc is centralizd that they could easily regulate.

Or someone just wanted another pump for profits and dump it afterwards.
228  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin.Bitcoin.Bitcoin!!!!!!!!! on: January 31, 2018, 06:56:42 PM
Apparently, I was expecting this bloodbathe before it even reach the highest price bitcoin achieved before December ended.
And also thankful because everyone who is interested may now invest and will be calmed that they have a lower risks of losing capital.
I think those greedy ones present when prices are nearly twenty thousand dollars will disappear. Losing big time will force them to sell to cut off loses.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto going to DEAD on: January 31, 2018, 11:03:11 AM
Lot of regulations apply for crypto these days.some countries ban exchanges and also TAX applying for them. And some countries ban ICOs.one of the major social media facebook stop all crypto ads.seems like crypto going to end day by day.market is falling too.what are your ideas about this?

I don't understand why you people post things like this. Like Bitcoin is DEAD or its the END but you are still here.
This is bitcointalk and we are expecting for suggestions and other resolutions rather than spreading FUD.
I think you don't deserve to be here.

Prices may go as low as anyone could think of but the true essence and purpose will be based on its use.
Bitcoin is for transactions and Facebook is just for advertising.
Transactions are the main goal here. Not the price nor the social media.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wise to hold Bitcoin for a long time or sell to meet a need of life? on: January 30, 2018, 10:55:56 PM
I think saving or as an investment is far different from spending for your family.

We save and invest to have something for our families and when it comes to family needs, we should not hesitate to spend. It's not just an obligation but its an instinct to all.

I think saving is wise because volatility makes possibilities. But I won't risk my family's needs and let them starve.
231  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this new crash very bad on: January 30, 2018, 09:43:20 PM
Its the end. Doomsday ahead.

I think END means ZERO mate.
Don't see anything wrong with the prices. We should celebrate, many investors will surely be attracted with the cheaper price.

Try to calm down.

It's a bit funny that you are opposing bitcoin's capability and your still here.
It's BITCOINtalk dude.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 14 banks transact bitcoins on: January 28, 2018, 10:19:22 AM
I am really wondering how it works there.
Do they offer you a wallet connected to the bank account?
And is it possible to convert bitcoin into the lokal fiat and back?
How high are the fees for their service?

There is a wallet that let exchange Bitcoins to Fiat directly to remittance centers also bank accounts.
Yes they have fees and it increased when bitcoin skyrocket happened.
Also, benefits were reduced like limiting the amount of exchanges to fiat in a year.
That was really a buthurt for most of us today.
Since there are still no local store accepting it, we don't have a choice but to go with the flow.
It's like we have taxes already.
233  Economy / Speculation / Good News=People's Interest=Bitcoin skyrocket again ? on: January 28, 2018, 09:17:22 AM
I am just a bit curious.
Will good news really trigger the prices to go upward?
Now, we are stable again like back in the start of 2017, then urges from start of August to the end of the year.

I am not into the price itself but still it tickles my mind which is the greatest factor that causes the huge fluctuations.

For sure traders are a bit having day offs since prices go down more often.

Some analyst says the next break out lies within Google.
Any thoughts ?

234  Other / Meta / Re: Merits from your friends? on: January 28, 2018, 08:49:16 AM
By friends he probably means "friends" aka alt accounts. Doing so will be rife amongst farmers and multi-accounters now but it will also just be one more tool for suspicious users to find alt accounts. You shouldn't really give points unless a person deserves it but it is ultimately up to you how you give out points, friend or not, but also up to the community whether you are giving them out just to help "friends" rank up and how to punish that.

Still, we cannot neglect the fact that there are people in this forum that are friends in real life. Even I have friends close friends here. I could easily ask merit from them but that wouldn't be necessary if I could post something relevant to the discussion, right?

No one says it's not true mate.
There are possibilities. I also have some friends in here including my clinical instructor.
Its just that some may be accused because we all know that there plenty of account farmers here.
They will only get banned or tagged if proven doing activities that are against the rules.
No one is tagged without proofs right mate.
235  Other / Meta / Re: Merits from your friends? on: January 28, 2018, 06:53:58 AM
is this legal share merits with your friends? and some one is begging for it? or else give merits and trade for something?

Yeah it's against the rules. Giving merit to your FRIENDS is cheating. Merits are given for quality posts and not for friends to have.
Or this might likely be seen as Farm accounts. You can be accused as cheating or farming merits now.
If it is proven connected to you, you might get banned like others have.
I know it's hard these days, trying to keep up with the system needs patience.
This forum needs improvement and less stuborn members. Try to be a help rather than another forum campaign vampire.
Good luck mate.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin at $20K ? on: January 28, 2018, 03:52:36 AM
Predictions won't help anymore because bitcoins are too volatile and even you start predicting it will go twenty-thirty- up to fifty thousand this year there is no accurate price.
When someone says it will hundred K, I think they just to pump it.
People are more interested to invest when they know that it will go up.
Most of them came here to earn I guess.
I am earning but not that desperate though.
237  Other / Meta / Re: How to earn merits easily ? on: January 28, 2018, 03:37:11 AM
with new bct update to become a full member need 100 merits and i still have only 10 merits. What is the best way to earn merits

It's clear that you intention is just to rank up and go earning.
As everyone said, there is no other way but to post good or quality posts mate.
If you are really interesed in the technology, you won't be asking such questions. We want improvement and earning is just one of its let's say prize.
Good luck mate.
I'll be ranking up on tuesday and because of the merit system my rank will be frozen for while.
But still I see it as a good thing.
238  Other / Meta / Re: Merit System Numbers too high to achieve - A Suggestion on: January 28, 2018, 02:11:35 AM

I have one and a half month to be a sr.member

Merit challenge accepted.

Well I have at least a day to become a SR. Member and haven't got anything against the new system because I know it is for a greater good.
I will try to earn my merits in a good way too.
I am not rushing things though it's awesome to be a SR. Member upon waiting.

Well I am accepting the challenge too. I just hope many are reviewing posts.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people who don't know bitcoin denigrate and attack bitcoin? on: January 26, 2018, 11:46:17 AM
Let me compare it as a antigen that are present in a vaccine that enters the body.
Vaccines are introduced to the body to be immunized by the specific antigen in order to avoid being sick the next time he or she is exposed to the disease itself. In short it is made for a good cause.
Bitcoin is the antigen which is created for a good purpose, but before it acts freely to provides good, it is known as danger.

But I know it will be accepted in the future to provide its purpose.
240  Other / Meta / Re: People might sell they're merit points. on: January 26, 2018, 09:09:10 AM
I don't have anything against the merit system. It's actually a good idea. Newbies should not be degraded because if they are really into this forum, they will be encouraged to level up themselves.
Number of spammers will decrease because they won't be able to make quality posts that much.
But there is one thing that can still be alarming aside from buying merit, multi account users might + merit their other account to acquire it.
Any thoughts about it ?
