221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So what will happen to Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2019, 02:09:15 PM

In the local section, a friend had made a simple calculation of his own. According to this calculation, the probability of 20 billion quantum computers finding a BTC address in 10,000 years; 0.0000000000139910250239947861121617024005824700676
Even if we increase the probability of 1000 times based on incorrect calculations; then probability reach 0.0000000139910250239947861121617024005824700676

So, do you think this assessment should be taken seriously?

[BTW, This calculation made by the friend is based on the claim that quantum computers can perform the operation calculated by the computers in 10,000 years in 300 seconds. Probability values are based only on figures on discourses.]

I'm not good at calculation but this answer makes sense so I think we don't know to worry about quantum computers for now, instead lets help and support Bitcoin's technology to spread more awareness globally and maybe someday we could open the eyes of the people who don't know the true worth of Bitcoin. Cryptocurrency might die but I'm pretty sure that the technology will last forever.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin using or need! Vs stable coins on: October 25, 2019, 12:05:11 PM
Will I Invest my hard earned real money into Bitcoin??  The answer is no!  Will anyone who is in rational mind Will Invest in btc??  The answer is clear no!!

Will I Invest into stable coins?  The answer is yes!!  Stable coins are the best Thing what Ever happened!  Clearly but Bitcoin is not.

If I have 100 usdt I know I have it   but 1 btc...  Welll one day 7000 Other day 8000...

I dont think Bitcoin can survive for long If there is no outside help!!

The swinging 7000-8000 price range is coz of the same Old crypto currency traders trade with each other... So one day joe Win jack s btc and next day jacks wins joe's btc and Exchanger Will take fee...

Traders Not Winners Here!

If you are so afraid of taking risk, what's the point of converting your fiat currency to a stablecoin (centralized) instead of investing in banks? The price fluctuation is natural in Bitcoin and despite of its characteristic, many people still use it and recognize Bitcoin as the strongest coin in crypto market because of its fully decentralized and trustless system.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto a single person? on: October 25, 2019, 11:18:06 AM
Satoshi Nakamoto's identity has been a big mystery in crypto community, there are many theories and to this day no one has been able to prove it but one thing is for sure that whoever behind this pseudonym will never reveal its true identity for security reasons even if it is a group or a single person.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cointelegraph main facebook page was closed or deleted? on: October 25, 2019, 10:28:58 AM
Hello everyone,

I just want to update you that Cointelegraph Facebook page [EN] https://www.facebook.com/pg/cointelegraph/ is now back and accessible so I'm locking this thread to avoid spam in the future.
225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where you take inspiration when you tired from trading? on: October 24, 2019, 02:50:01 PM
Having a group of like-minded people helps so much...

For me this is the best thing to do in order to relieve stress from bad trading because you could get advise from them or even make you laugh and helps you forget that you lose on trading. With regards of inspiration, I guess most of us here are inspired by our family because were striving to earn from trading to provide them a better future.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's acceptance in the World on: October 24, 2019, 02:37:00 PM
Nowadays Bitcoin can be easily converted to fiat currency using a third-party services so I don't think it will be a big problem for a company who accept Bitcoin as payment, they should know the risk of using Bitcoin because being extremely volatile is one of its distinct characteristics. It may not be good for a company's perspective but its a whole different story for a trader because they considered Bitcoin's volatility as a good thing.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asia can be the biggest crypto market on: October 24, 2019, 02:00:30 PM
The Blockchain project these days is targeting Asian market because of many countries in Asia have embraced cryptocurrency like Japan, South Korea and Singapore. Recently an article published by Coingecko stating that the crypto has shifted from a Western-dominated industry to a very Asian-dominated industry.

Reasons why Asia will lead the crypto market:

  • Cryptocurrency Mining Is Now Largely Asian-Dominated
  • Staking is Also Largely Asian-Dominated
  • New Exchanges Are Mostly from Asia
  • Singapore Leads the World in ICO and IEO Issuance
  • Asia Is Leading the World with Innovation

228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your opinion about this investment strategy on: October 23, 2019, 05:54:45 PM
I think if you are investing long term for a few years then this list should not matter but if you only invest a few months then I think you should not invest too much in altcoin. BTC is a safer option in the medium term.

It seems like OP is here for a long term goal because he/she is planning to add more investment every month depends on the market condition which I think a very good strategy to maximize the profit in the long run. The listed altcoins are all good because these coins have a big potential to grow its price over time.
229  Economy / Speculation / Re: I wan't to believe on: October 23, 2019, 05:35:14 PM
I think your prediction about the price of bitcoin in 2020 is really terrible because there is no price decline, because bitcoin price movements should have an up and down flow, if you describe always going up it will not be possible.

The prediction went wrong and now the price of Bitcoin is going down so do you think that in early 2020 the price will go up just like you said? Grin I don't easily believe in predictions but c'mon its so good to see them and shred some light for the holders especially when the market turns red Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt has traded only 7 BTC so far on: October 23, 2019, 04:33:50 PM
Low volume from early days of its release is pretty normal bro. Yes I get it that you're maybe confused on why only 7 btc is traded in bakkt after all those hype. Lets give it a little bit more time so we can see the full potential of it.
The hype bakkt had created didn't give any big fruits on its first day but I think as time goes by bakkt will grow bigger and more volumes will be expected.

Totally! Bakkt is still on early stage so don't expect too much, I don't get it why some people giving a lot of negative views with Bakkt knowing that it could provide a good impact in crypto-space in the long run. We should give Bakkt a little space and maybe after a few year we will see its full potential.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoins have a future? on: October 23, 2019, 04:12:21 PM
There are thousands of altcoins so it will be pain in the ass to pin point them one by one but I'm guessing that 80% of them will eventually die in the future because people will get smarter and understand that only few altcoins is useful, only strong coins with real-life use will be left.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cointelegraph main facebook page was closed or deleted? on: October 23, 2019, 10:43:13 AM
since nobody can access that page, there is a good chance that Facebook itself closed down this page because it was a "cryptocurrency" news site related thing which contained a lot of crypto-related topics which was banned on facebook a while ago. they might have gotten mad that their shitcoin is being banned worldwide and started banning crypto related pages Cheesy

I think being a cryptocurrency news page is not the issue here because I can still access Coindesk facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/coindesk/) and as far I remember only crypto advertisement was banned on facebook not the pages who are related to cryptocurrency.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i trust new IEO on the new exchange? on: October 23, 2019, 10:14:36 AM
Trust must be earn so you should never give your trust to a new project or exchange without doing a proper research, keep it on your mind that there are lot of fraud or scam projects lurking around the crypto-space. Always analyze the project and the exchange itself before investing and get more information as much as you can to help you make a better judgement.
234  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: October 23, 2019, 08:16:35 AM
It would be better if the anti-bitcoin government was eliminated instead of fiat currency Grin as far as I know fiat currency is not a hindrance to Bitcoin for mass adoption so there is no need to remove it from the system because things will be more complicated if this happens.
235  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Reasons why I am buying Bitcoin!! on: October 23, 2019, 07:34:56 AM
The reasons I bought Bitcoin because I believe in its technology, it is the most useful and trustless currency in crypto space that may cause to be the future currency on the next generation to come. In addition, I find it very convenient and secure to use for my cashless transactions.
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020? on: October 23, 2019, 04:26:26 AM
Hy all. How are you. Bitcoin will rise to the moon in early 2020, do you know the reason? One reason is that more and more people are familiar with crypto and the digital world. Thanks. Cool

Not gonna be in early 2020. If you're talking about the Bitcoin halving in 2020, then probably the price will skyrocket on the last quarter of 2020 or early in 2021. If you follow the trend from the first halving in 2012, the price had grown 100x the year after the halving, and the same goes from the 2016 halving, where we had the whopping $20,000 Bitcoin ATH in 2017.

Nice explanation you got there mate, the history of Bitcoin market may repeat and if most of the crypto people is following this trend then we may not experience a bullish run on early 2020 because investor will hoard their money and wait until the halving is finished though the market is so unpredictable that anything could happen in a short period of time.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Shitcoin should we hold now? on: October 22, 2019, 06:00:52 PM
I bought some shitcoin because I played short term, in my opinion it was very fun and also challenging playing with shitcoin, I already made enough profit, because in my opinion shitcoin also has the potential to rise even though it is very fast to dump.

Really? I didn't know that you can actually gain profit from shitcoin because they are worthless but I admire your courage for buying shitcoins and gambling your money. I usually avoid a coin if I find out its a shitcoin so I'm not sure if they really have potential.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: October 22, 2019, 04:38:14 PM
Scammers are difficult to eradicate in this ecosystem but it is possible to avoid them by simply educating ourselves and investing a little of our time learning new things so that we can outsmart them in every possible way. They always have a new trick up their sleeves so we must be very careful and don't rush into something without doing a proper research.

Scammers must continue to try many ways to provide a view that their project is truly original and good for the future, but there must be investors who have a personal way to value a project. but besides that we have to wait for a regulation that can make the development have a good standard to develop a technology in the crypto field

With regards on regulation, I do agree with that but I think it will take a few years from now due to the slow process and some investors can't wait that long which is why they must take the initiative to learn and understand everything about crypto investment.

Scammers is likely to be more active these days because they knew that there are regulation being created just to prevent them so investors should not let their guard down and familiarize the scammer tricks to avoid investing on a fake project.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: October 22, 2019, 04:05:16 PM
There is a possibilty that decentralized exchange will boom next year because even top exchanges like Binance will launch their own DEX which means that users in Binance platform might switch into DEX and also we know that Binance is good at marketing so I'm pretty sure that their own DEX will be the hot topic next year.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV vs ETH on: October 22, 2019, 02:11:11 PM
I would prefer ETH than Bitcoin SV based on its community and usage, also Ethereum is more active in developing the platform and giving updates via social media compare to Bitcoin SV. There is a growing competition in crypto-space and only competent coins like ETH will survive in the long run. Just not a fan of Bitcoin SV  Tongue
