221  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you sell all your coins in Bull market? on: July 24, 2018, 02:08:01 PM
Many people are waiting for the market recovery to sell their coins but I bet you,as soon as market recovers ,they will feel reluctant to sell.
Yes, that reluctance comes from greed. I think the investors have failed because of greed. I used to be a very greedy person and I lost more than 3k $. That is my first salary and that is a very valuable lesson for me.
If we are greedy, we will easily fail. Follow our plans and goals.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 700 usd to invest on: July 23, 2018, 09:34:04 AM
i am a newbie .. please show me the investment. I have 700 usd
EOS is a great choice. But I do not encourage you to invest all your money on it. Investing is always risky and you are a newbie, you should not make mistakes too soon.
You can split $ 400 to invest in EOS and the remaining $ 300 will invest in ICO projects. It will often bring a lot of profit compared to long-term investment and holding.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICOs on: July 23, 2018, 09:32:20 AM
Hey,

with all these ICOs going on in parallel it seems impossible to stick out for a good one.

Reddit and this forum get flooded with announcements of new ICOs making it almost impossible to spot good ones.
Facebook blocked ICO advertising.
Google Adwords blocks use of word ICO in ads in certain countries already.
Twitter is drowning in ICO announcements.
Listing pages are popping up everywhere, too.

What are the ways you guys use to learn about new ICOs and how do you find out the good ones ?
I'm just a Crypto investor and ICO project and I do not have much understanding of the field of project analysis. I have a very good team of staff and they have very good expertise.
They entered the market very early and they were more experienced than me. They will often read the Whitepaper and the Roadmap carefully, checking the staff to make an investment decision.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: except for bitcoin, what is your prefer? on: July 23, 2018, 09:29:49 AM
As we all know, bitcoin is the most famous in digital virtual currency.
with the effect of national policy, bitcoin is hurt.
Change the angle,if the bitcoin is banned, who can replace, even do better than it?
Do you have the suitable choice in your heart?
Just tell us!

Besides Bitcoin, I like EOS the most. Because it is a very famous altcoin and highly appreciated by experts.
In my own opinion, EOS has taken a great and independent step. It is creating its own platform with an estimated 35% market share of the Crypto market. It is a great strategy and investing in EOS will be a wise decision.
225  Economy / Economics / Re: Monetary crisis on: July 23, 2018, 09:27:36 AM
The monetary crisis is a condition of worsening financial condition of a country over a period of time and is characterized by a decline in the national currency exchange rate against the international currency and skyrocketing prices in the market and the decline in global economic activity.
Is your country experiencing a monetary crisis?
How do you think the current market price is down?
What about the basic need to continue living with your family?

My country is being affected by the trade war between the United States and China. My stock market has fallen sharply and investors in Crypto have suffered a loss.
But everything will return to its true value. I hope in 2019, the capitalization of the market will increase to $ 600 billion and investors will be revived.
226  Economy / Economics / Re: How can you manage potential losses during a crash on: July 23, 2018, 09:26:03 AM
I am not an investor in the Cryptocurrency market. Because I know the uncertainty of the Crypto market will not bring a good psychology to investors and easily make investors lose money in a short time.
So I think buying and holding long is not good in this market. I will only use USDT to trade when the market fluctuates to avoid the capital loss when the market occurs red.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have only 200€ to invest on: July 22, 2018, 03:14:00 PM
Hello Im new on this forum, can you help me to choose good coin for me? I have only 200€ to spend, I was thinking about ETH/LTC but is it worth when I have only 200? Or should I try my luck with something cheap.
I think you should invest in some altcoins to increase your capital amount. $ 200 would be a good investment if you knew how to take advantage of the opportunity that the market offers you.
Temporarily you should not invest long term, it will be a wrong decision because your capital is too small. You should trade the day to increase your money on a daily basis. A good coin for everyday trading is the EOS because I find it to have quite high volatility.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Already lost 50% of my capital on: July 22, 2018, 03:08:38 PM
Hello guys. I just want to ask for your opinion or an advice.
I started trading since May 2017. I calculated all my loss, I already lost 50% of my capital  Sad. Some coins are still in hold.
I just want to ask what can you give to me an advice or any learnings  about trading. I'm using bittrex.
Do not worry, because investors are losing the same amount of capital as you. My friend has lost more than 60% of his fortune earned from 2016 to now. That was a huge amount of money but he said we should be calm. The market is down and going up in the future, it's a cycle and we have to believe that.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin on the rise? on: July 22, 2018, 03:06:29 PM
For a few days now I have noticed a sustained momentum by Bitcoin. It was initially 65000, 6600 and its now 6700. Are we about to witness an upward surge that will eventually bring about market recovery?
Yes, what you anticipate is absolutely true. Because Bitcoin's current price is $ 7k5 and it will continue to increase in the future. The Crypto market is on the upward trend and I expect whales to pump $ 200 billion into Bitcoin's bid to rise above $ 13k.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 700 usd to invest on: July 22, 2018, 03:04:16 PM
i am a newbie .. please show me the investment. I have 700 usd
To have a safe investment, I think you should invest in ETH now. It is currently being underestimated and its price has now fallen very low compared to its actual value.
So investing in ETH now and holding them for a long time will be a good strategy. I am holding over 25 ETH and am waiting for the Crypto market to rise sharply in Q4.
231  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world? on: July 20, 2018, 08:34:43 AM
Everywhere you can find cryptocurrency topic especially ICO projects are doing well on the marketing through social media like facebook, twitter, reddit, linked, youtube and etc. Celebrities, influential individuals and high ranking government officials are talking about cryptocurrency and that is why i think cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world. Do you agree with me? Even haters help cryptocurrency to be known all over the world so let just leave the haters then.
Electronic money is a prevailing theme in the world because it is a potential investment market. It promises to be profitable for investors and makes them interested in finding out the news around it. That made Bitcoin a widely discussed topic in the world. Bitcoin attracts many interests.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin affect world trade? on: July 19, 2018, 11:39:44 AM
Is there a role for Bitcoin in international trade? Have you heard of a trade between two countries?
And will it be in the future?
Bitcoin changes a lot to world trade. It changes the way the payment is made when buying and making these activities happen quickly but still secure. That is a positive influence. The problem now is that Bitcoin is not completely stable so it can become more popular and link more commercial activities.
233  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold & Silver are safe than bank deposits ?? on: July 19, 2018, 11:35:15 AM
Note: See on the right side of each post (top right corner) there is "+Merits"

I think now fixed deposit interest rates are less than 5% p.a in USA and Europe. In India fixed deposit rates are 6.5%.

Gold and Silver gives average profit of 8% to 12% per year. Silver will most likely give 20% to 30% profit each year from here on to reach $60/ounce.

Example:

Profit for gold and silver for year 2016 is 12%.

Profit for gold and silver for year 2017 is 0%

Profit for gold and silver for year 2018 is 8%

Profit for gold and silver for year 2019 is 16%

So average profit for 4 years is +9%

How secured/safe are investments in gold and silver if you decide to remove/withdraw your money from banks fixed deposits and invest them in Gold and silver ??
I think gold, silver or bank deposits have their own advantages. Gold, silver gives you the initiative and depends on how you manage your assets, which shows how safe it is. Bank deposits have a way of managing their assets and you do not need to plan your management when deposited. You do not know how safe that plan is.
234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has really come back? on: July 19, 2018, 11:27:49 AM
Bitcoin prices have rebounded to over $ 7400 today with large volume trading. Normally, bitcoin prices will increase sharply at the end of the year and this year will be no exception, a lot of good news has been released and the movement of the market is very positive. If nothing changes I believe the bitcoin price at the end of this year will continue to peak as many people expect.
I think Bitcoin has more recent positive news about its price starting to rise after the downturn. This is a sign that it is really back and continues to make investors think about its future. Bitcoin now has a very high price and is steadily more stable than before. It's fiercer now.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is it the Future of Banking ? on: July 19, 2018, 11:24:03 AM
i was thinking about the Bitcoin and it's Future in Banking . can it remplace money in transactions ?
Bitcoin is not just the future of banking but can even replace and do better than what the bank can do. Bitcoin shows that it can help sessions move faster and still be safe. Ignore the third party and save some time and expenses unnecessarily.
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you now going to hold when the market is red? on: July 18, 2018, 02:18:07 PM
All of a sudden bitcoin jumped from 6.5k to almost 8k today. I believe those who made panic selling are very disappointed now. This is the reason why i said bitcoin investment is not only about risk taking. Am pretty sure no old member sold thiers at that cheap. Sometimes experience counts. Never think bitcoin is gonna die
Bitcoin's price is falling but for me that sign still can not satisfy me to abandon investment in this market. Bitcoin's potential has kept me on track and waiting for a return to peak and possibly setting a new peak. I feel no problem with the decision to keep Bitcoin at this point.
237  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: July 18, 2018, 02:12:30 PM
I'm not one who would invest in precious metals, but I have noticed that a good amount of the older generations are pretty keen in investing in these metals. They see it as a way to bet against the market, and a security that will always be safe -- even in the times of a market downturn/country failure as a whole.

I personally wouldn't even want to buy these metals in those events, as I don't see the reason to. I'd rather invest in securities that go up when the market shits itself (Payroll lending companies and so on and so forth)

Does anyone here know the reason behind people loving precious metals?
Old people choose to invest in gold, silver instead of Bitcoin because gold or silver is always a safer option than Bitcoin. Bitcoin has not yet come into full swing and is sure to be a sensible choice for older people. This decision of them though hard to perfection but in my opinion it is very reasonable.
238  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people are still buying BTC? on: July 18, 2018, 02:07:21 PM
Hello guys,

To me, it seems pretty strange that people actually continues buying btc now...
I understood why they wanted to invest in btc before, after the Chyprus crisis, and all the articles in the media. But now?

I don't get it.

Bitcoin is useless, and will most likely never be used as a currency. I spent hours trying to get my first bitcoins (satoshi actually), and after working for ages, I only got 0.002 btc, which does not even allow me to proceed to a transaction (the fees are higherthan that amount  Roll Eyes ). When you compare it with CC or paypal, it seems that they are free to use in comparison! Not to mention the time required to actually proceed to a transaction which can be anything between 1 minute and ... 1 year (or more?).

The only possible reason I see people are buying btc is that they (truly) believe that the price will increase, and want to make more profit. I think that 99.99 % of the bitcoins exchanged are never withdrawn from the exchangers, and the people are only waiting to make some profits. What makes them believe that the price will rise? Because the amount of bitcoins is limited? Because lost coins can never be recovered? I have no clue.

An other problem is the "mining" part. Soon, the difficulty will increase, CPU and GPU mining will be useless. People will stop mining bitcoins and try LTC or something easy to get... The interest in btc will decrease.

Other issues:
- security. Not a single company was able to provide a "professional" service. Bitcoin-24 has a serious problem ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=174600.0 ). Even mtgox was critized for the lags, problems with missing coins, money, delay, and so on ... The hacks are countless (you can see new topics about that every day ...).

I can't see anything positive about btc, and still can't get why people are buying it. Can any captain obvious explains? Thanks.
Many people still keep Bitcoin because they see the huge potential of this technology and believe it will grow strongly in the near future. Bitcoin has peaked and as it is decreasing, this can be considered as time for people to invest in it. The potential of Bitcoin is to secure your investment decision.
239  Economy / Economics / Re: Why lot of countries do not allow to use Crpto? on: July 18, 2018, 02:02:53 PM
Lot of countries do not allow to use crypto currencies and they discourage using them. However as far as I feel, trading with crypto is not that harmful for the economy of the country. As an example, if a person has Eth and someone from another country needs to buy Eth, that buyer needs to pay the seller in terms of dollars. Then that seller needs to convert that Dollars to his native currency which means it creates a the demand for the native currency and increase the value of the currency. May be the government is unable to add a tax on such transactions but it is beneficial for the currency used in seller's country.
What do you think about that?
I think that because Bitcoin is new and they have not figured out how to manage and exploit it effectively, states in many countries have banned the use of Crypto. They have also seen the potential that Bitcoin has and what it can do. A meticulous plan may be well prepared before Bitcoin is ready for official use.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO. Buy or not? on: July 17, 2018, 04:26:49 AM
Now I am thinking about buying NEO, what do you thing about this? Shell I wait or buy?
You should buy them immediately before the market rebounds strongly. NEO will be a very potential altcoin in the future and it will be strongly developed by 2020 when it has enough capital to execute its business strategy.
I quite like NEO's Blockchain platform and it has pretty high security. I believe in a good future of it.
