Will it be 99% POS forever? In my opinion the staking rate is way too high in order to really work also as a store of value in the long run.

For how long is the premine going to be locked and who is able to unlock it? Is it secured via a smart contract?
The original premine can never be unlocked, we have hard coded this into 2.0. However, the postmine will be used as mentioned in the ANN, the exact figures are still being discussed and we will have a community vote before full implementation. Which characteristics of Stonecoin can make it competitive in dozens of NeoScrypt algorithm coins in crypto ecosystem?
If I read the new ANN correctly, the next update will change the neoscrypt to x16r Besides switching to x16r as FreakCoder mentioned, we have also built a stand alone auto update that is unique to Stonecoin. We are the first I know of to use this method and it is across all platforms. We will have many more features like this during our first development phase, also if you have any requests of features you would like to see you can PM any one from the core team in Discord and we will put it on the idea board  There are some spelling mistakes in your ANN and some more detailed description with a better layout would be nice. However, the ANN will be treated as a living document and we will update it often. Watch for tweets and @everyone mentions of noteworthy changes to the ANN in Discord. Neoscrypt is a GPU mining algorithm, that correct me if I'm wrong does not have an Asic? Bit keep in mind we will be switching to x16r which is the same as Ravencoin, Motion, and a few others. a lot of information which is not represented. WELL, you can't prevent people from making stupid decisions, it's an open market with lots of noobs, but let's just hope their misfortune made them the wiser, otherwise WHAT A WASTE! people need to learn how to learn from their experience and do their own research, instead of acting like lemmings I know that all those are valid points to also believe that there might be something going on here in a positive way but I really disliked the way all the fork stuff went and how many people have been burned financially. I think they will delist DO very soon. In an exchange where DeepOnion is #103 out of more than 500 coins in current volume, they'll delist it? Sure, Jan... As long as they don't hint anything or threaten to delist it that issue is not imminent. I also don't think that they are delisting a lot of coins anyway. I mean, I understand that they could be considering delisting some of the coins that consistently present no volume but to delist DeepOnion they would have to delist more than 75% of their coins first. DeepOnion is not at the bottom of either Cryptopia's or Kucoin's list in volume, it makes no sense to delist it unless someone is planning to close shop, which neither of those exchanges seems to be doing. DeepOnion has done the exact opposite of delisting anyway, it keeps getting listed on more and more exchanges. I know some people don't realize the importance of getting listed in new exchanges with a small volume but Kucoin was a lot smaller when DeepOnion was first listed there too. There's more than one way to get listed in a tier one exchange. It's not a problem of supply, About 310k ONION is available at exchanges. We need some demand and it will come with new announcements... new exchanges, new features, DeepSend and more. I recommend to compare this volume to other coins as well. Potential is worthless. It is a promise on future performance. There won't be dozens of anon coins later on. That's why it is critical to make the best one and even if they had the potential, I don't see that happening.
I am not sure, if there is someone from official Pura team here in this bitcointalk. Otherwise it would be useful, if official news to be posted here to discuss them. Also they need a chairman who drives the strategy, also a headquarter, adress, phonenumber and so on. This "community driven" is worthless - as nobody is responsible for the strategy. I remember the chaotic theme aurora - nobody knews the status, was responsible - the investors stayed alone and had to wait what will happen without timeline etcc. A headquarter.... You know that the point of decentralized protocols is to not build unnecessary central point of failures? A headquarters would be bad. |

ethereum total supply is increasing because mining reward miner get reward with each block they mined and confirm the transactions now the circualtion supply is more then 100 milllion for now and its total supply is unlimited but only miners can get few in a year Interestingly though Vitalik brought up the discussion about implementing a cap to the total supply of ETH. If I remember correctly it was on april 1st? By the way, if he want to implement a cap (but this question is for all PoS coins) how it will work with PoS ? It's the same thing as PoW where miners get only transaction fees after all coins are mined? Yes, exactly. Whereas it totally remains to be seen how something like that would actually play out. Everyone has an opinion on how it will work within Bitcoin, but I think skeptics also have a valid point that once there are only transaction fees the incentive might be too low for a lot of miners to secure the network. |

If you develop your own proof of work from scratch isn't that also a bit dangerous in terms of bugs? Maybe better to use a proven algorithm? I think sale is completely finished and we are just waiting on distribution and exchanges. Why are you already waiting for exchanges? Aren't you a strong believer in brickblock or why did you invest? That's not really a fair answer. Doesn't matter how long you inted to HODL, info on exchanges is important to all members of the community. I get your point but this sentiment of receiving a token and hopefully selling it for a profit 10 seconds later doesn't really help the crypto economy after all. People should make strong and substantiated decisions about their investments and only fund the strongest projects. It will give them the best returns in the long run anyway and we will all see the best infrastructure possible (which will benefit us all). Ya I hear you on that. People should act that way bc it's in their best interest. But it's no ones place to tell others how to invest. Well, you could tell them, but they don't have to listen to you It's terrifying though to see some people put everything in one basket because some weird internet stranger said so. Even if it is not listed there it wouldn't really harm the project in any way. It's more important that the team becomes active again and does their work according to the roadmap. Yes, simply a small exchange, not listed on it isn't a problem too big and too influential. Akaiito just follow the plan, they will have much better exchange. And pushing for an exchange doesn't really help either unless you do it yourself and reach out to exchanges. Every team wants to see their tokens listed. They have no reason to be slow at that and at the same time they are often not allowed to disclose any info early. |

Personally I'm just picking up a constant flow of STRAT. There is blood on the streets, the prices are dirt cheap and I love to increase my bags. I saw a couple of guys here selling STRAT for buying bitcoin green and staking that instead of STRAT. lol Besides them I trade shitcoins and pump them profits into this blue chip coin. I'm not selling STRAT for anything. I'll wait few more weeks before buying more STRAT as we're in a bear market price could slide down more and i would be able to buy more with less. those who are buying bitcoin green etc.. good luck to them!  The highest price of strat is 22 dollar and current price is 3.08 dollar at what point i should in Don't go all in in one move. Invest part of what you have available, see where the market goes next and decide whether you want to put in some more money. If it goes down you can buy even more for less and if it goes up you are fine with what you already invested increasing in value. |
