My GHC have also started staking. Have gotten about 200 coins in the last 2 or 3 hours

All new users who use Windows, can try download and install this fix, before launching wallet for the first time.

DOWNLOAD HERE: http://snk.to/f-cdh3bilj
a .conf file identical to the one outlined by thekidcoin a few hundred times is a fix?
Also I am not sure I understand the sanity in packing a 120byte config file into a 100kb self-extracting .exe file

For those who are wondering. The file seems to be safe, it's a WinRAR self-extracting archive.

Ah ok. Why not just upload the .conf file haha. Tiny .exe files are usually not good

I made this self-extracting archive for those users who don't know how to find Appdata folder.

Ah ok. May help some people out then.

DON'T download a random .exe file unless you scan it first

Can the dev please contact me?

I've updated to the latest source but i'm still stuck at 15553.

Thanks
Richie@bittrex

This is for anyone "stuck" because of a bad node somewhere (yet to figure out who it is)

Delete all files in %appdata% except for your conf and wallet.dat

Download the newest binary

https://github.com/thekidcoin/fluttercoin/releases/tag/v0.4.5.3-flt

Make your conf file look like this:

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
connect=54.203.244.170
connect=54.203.244.27
connect=54.199.237.235
noirc=1
dnsseed=0

Its not possible to download the wrong fork using this method.  All those nodes are operating on the correct blockchain.

Then, shutdown the wallet, and change the conf back to look like:

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=54.203.244.170
addnode=54.203.244.27
addnode=54.199.237.235
noirc=1
listen=1
dnsseed=1
server=1

I can confirm this indeed works. I backed up my wallet.dat and deleted all fluttercoin files. Downloaded the new wallet and then ran the wallet and it did get stuck at block 15553. I then deleted everything again and tried exactly what thekidcoin just described for the .conf and now my wallet is up to date and works fine.

Wallet is not synching past 15553!

...maybe this will get your attention. Tried different approaches, one of which was using only the block explorer links as nodes. In this last attempt i got a beautiful "WARNING: Invalid checkpoint found! Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need  to upgrade, or notify developers." message instead of the normal green "Synchronizing with network..." bar.

...and noooobody gives a flying fuck.

Only time I have seen that is when I was on the old wallet. Once I downloaded the new wallet, that error was gone.

Low volume b/c alot of people holding on to their coins

I tried out miningwith.us last night when I went to sleep. When I woke up 5 1/2 hours later I only had 195 coins total. I then switched to bitember and got 512 coins in 5 hours. Now I am trying out qemulab to see how they go. I think most people just go to whomever is hitting the most blocks.
Which is really unfair, we could have just had 5 hours of fairly bad/small blocks with the way random blocks are.
Smaller pools will never get the same amount of blocks as the bigger pools if you guys just continuously give bigger pools all your hash... this seems like a endless cycle.
I guess I just have to hope people try us out and stay, eventually we will have hash to match...

If I had free electricity, it wouldn't be a problem to leave my miners on a smaller pool, but it's not and rather expensive here so I like to try out a couple of different pools just to see what gets the most coins. Even though this coins getting pretty hard to mine for my little hash power, I just want a couple more thousand and I will move on to something else. I was lucky enough to jump in right at the start of this and got enough from there. Just wish we didn't have those first forks b/c I lost 200,000 but im almost at 100k now so im good.

Whats up with CrunchHarder pool? My balance has been the same for over an hour now? Switched over to Cloudminers and theirs is working fine.

So what happens at the fork? Just download the new wallet if we haven't already and start mining and everything should work?

yeah you can download the wallet now you don't need to wait until block 12400. i'm running it now, no problems.
download the new wallet now - backup your wallet.dat too first

Ok cool thanks.

Everyone should stop mining until 12400 lol, we been stuck at 12350 for a while now
If everyone stops mining we will never get to block 12400, that's the whole point, blocks are solved, we move to the next one.
We are stuck on 12350 because there is not enough hashrate to brute force these errored blocks and we just keep submitting the blocks it is counting as errored.

Oh ok, i'll throw my 2 pcs on even though its not much hashrate. Going to bed anyway, hope it works by morning time.

Anyone else having trouble with cipherpool ? My cgminer computer keeps disconnecting after about 30 min. The only way I can re connect is to delete my worker, then re add the worker. Then it connects. My other computer that is using cudaminer stays connected fine.

Weird. Pool ops looks In thread so he will see it soon

Doesn't work for me at all, cgminer won't even start if I choose the pool lol and the website is suuuper slow or doesnt work at all. I'm on "hashing.at", thats a good one !

Kepp the good work up guys, this Coins definitly deserve some pushing !

Ya, I think they may be getting ddos'd or something. I switched to hashing.at also and its been doing about the same as I was on cipherpool, maybe just a little less
