hi! I couldn't find the sources for the wallet. Is it me or they're not in the website?
https://github.com/VidereLicet only has sources for the miner.

If sources are not available, this may be a scam, any answer to this dev?

starting to wonder if someone hasn't already got private optimized miner

I don't think so.  I'm mining on a handful of machines now and am getting blocks.  It does seem to be working ok.

Out of interest, what PPS are people getting?  I'm getting around 29-30 PPS on an 8-core ubuntu box
i5 3570k @ 4.2ghz 33PPS
i7 4770k @ 4.2ghz 40PPS
E3 1230v3 @ 3.5ghz 8PPS (waiting for windows 64bit before turning this one back on)

i7 4770k stock ~8.5 PPS in windows  Cry  need miner x64 in windows, the difference is too big

Someone can help with this, it looks interesting.

This will allow more stimulation in development for the GPU Miner, hopefully we can get some people together to get a stable AMD and NVIDIA miner. There will be bounties available to go directly to GPU Miner development. Bitslapper and I will be working on the AMD version while I am hoping to get some people to help build the NVIDIA version.

Please contact me if you have any experience / desire to help in the Coinshield Revolution.

231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BBR] Boolberry: Privacy and Security - Guaranteed[Bittrex/Poloniex]GPU Released on: September 21, 2014, 11:28:31 PM
Is it really Rune now? Name is worse than before. Sounds like a kiddy game like Runescape or an MMO game where you put runes on your armors

At least Bool represents coding vocabulary

I really hope you don't name it Rune.

Rune means nothing to most people. It sounds like Ruin. It is not catchy.

I am not an owner of BBR, so please ask your own investors. Just my 2 cents.

Consider Digiberry instead or don't change the name.

BBR is a great currency abbreviation. Easy to remember. "BB" then "R".

There's a much bigger problem:

I had assumed that someone had already researched this, but maybe not.

It seems that when you google Rune you get a wikipedia page about runes followed by a ton of Runescape stuff. Fair enough, it would be be difficult to SEO your way above that lot, but it's not a serp killer - we'll just use "rune coin" instead.

Uh oh.

There is already a runecoin (http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Runecoins) and it's more Runescape stuff - how tricky will it be to con the google algo to top that? Runescape has over half a million players.

Not only does this cause a problem (a big one) for SEO, it may upset the makers of runescape (legal stuff?) and it rather destroys a main plank of your arguments that "not many people know about runescape" - well, they soon will because you will be introducing them to each other.

Surely just the fact that rune and runecoin searches throw up a ton of runescape stuff will connect the two in people's minds?

Oh well, nevermind, I expect Runescape will be glad of the extra hits.

the difference is clear in Google, Boolberry not need SEO.

View the number of results.

232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unofficial Boolberry Namechange Poll (Keep boolberry is an option) on: September 21, 2014, 10:53:28 PM
Nope, hubris won the day and the announcement was just made - don't let on though, I don't think they want anyone to know........

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577267.msg8917877#msg8917877

I posted a plea.

I hope to be considered renaming. I don't like Rune!

Ok, I for one will continue to support boolberry or whatever in the future, I believe that zoidberg is a very capable and a great developer, I hope that whatever is done, is thinking of the good of the coin and the community .
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BBR] Boolberry: Privacy and Security - Guaranteed[Bittrex/Poloniex]GPU Released on: September 20, 2014, 01:45:02 AM
Yes, boolberry is a very brandable name, but if the person in charge of the marketing is not liking it, then he wont do anywhere as good of a job unless he gets the name he wants.

then this is for one person? I think that if someone goes to work at a company in the area of marketing that does not give you the right to change the name just because you do not like, then what happens when that person leaves and another person comes? also you can change the name if you do not like?

rename orbis  Grin

Orbis as in Orbit as in "to da moon?"

more likely "to da rune" looking at the votes in the other thread... :/

Try this thread instead.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=786564.0

Where the mid-game results are:

Rune    15 (27.8%)
Secore    3 (5.6%)
Vortex    2 (3.7%)
Boolberry    32 (59.3%)
BitRing    1 (1.9%)
Boollion    1 (1.9%)
Total Voters: 54

In most polls this would constitute a landslide, but here, strangely, seems not to matter..............

+1

at some point in history boolberry would also be renamed to Arplex http://arplex.org/. and subsequently canceled, zoidberg said:

Boolberry is not the best name, i see.

But i've decided to stay with that.
i'm so sick of this naming talks - it's not possible to please everybody.
I like this name and i'll make a value for this name with my work and my ideas.

Thanks to all people who suggested names, i'm very sorry that i didn't like it, please try to understand me.
The prize will be devided between all who suggested in this thread, with thanks and respect. Sorry again that i didn't take name here.

Now naming issue is closed.

I'm gladly go back to work, hope we will appear on exchanges soon.

PS: those who was complained that solo mining is impossible - you can try your luck now since hashrate is pretty low now. this is your second chance.
PPS: those who don't like the name - that's ok, i can understand you and respect your choice if you go to Monero(or whatever). Mine in peace!

Now the question is: Why insist on changing the name?

I think there are other important things that need to worry.

Hasta el momento no hay pruebas de que esto realmente sea cierto, por el bien de CryptoNote espero que no sea verdad o que los desarrolladores solucionen el problema sin tener que sacrificar el anonimato como dice BCX.
