3. Do tego Oniony i TOR mają ten problem, że wiele funkcjonalności stron internetowych może być niedostępna (bo do poprawnego działania strony konieczne są elementy blokowane domyślnie przez TOR).
4. Alternatywnie w kodzie strony może rozpoznać ciebie po IP i wyskoczy błąd, że "treść niedostępna dla twojej lokalizacji" - jak to ma już miejsca choćby na youtube.
5. Kolejny element o którym mało mimo wszystko jest świadomy, to choćby zablokowanie płatności z określonych źródeł (np. Iran jest gremialnie poblokowany przez dostarczycieli płatności, od operatorów kart po banki - zgodnie z karami nałożonymi przez ONZ) lub odgórna odmowa weryfikacji z racji obywatelstwa, jako klienta wysokiego ryzyka.
