221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: November 10, 2019, 01:25:39 PM
In my opinion for a long hold, you should only use what you have in surplus as an investment. Bitcoin is the best investment cryptocurrency for a long term,  this has been proven far back in 2016 when I first bought my starsh and hold till 2017 when I made some good dollars. Long-term investment is good in bitcoin only.
I agree with you when you mentioned that the best coin to hold for long term is Bitcoin but I don't concur with your last sentence, stating it's good in "bitcoin only". There are different cool strategies in long term investment especially, do what works best for you from experience. 60% of my overall holdings is in Bitcoin, 20% is in ETH and the remaining 20% is in a few altcoins I believe have good future prospects.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO]🔥 E3T Connecting Global Entrepreneurs 🔥 on: November 10, 2019, 06:11:17 AM
I'm impressed with the project vision of E3T but I do hope it will be actualized and not just written on the white paper. I'll be following the updates of this project to know when the platform will be officially launched to link entrepreneurs, and hope holding the tokens will play a great part in order to boost confidence in holders, since the use case will be a good one.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL&CALM on: November 09, 2019, 04:51:18 PM
Thanks for the motivation but it is pretty difficult to see all you've worked for go down the drain and still feel like hodling. The worst part is that, it doesn't even feel like your assets will ever get back to the price at which you bought it at
You have made a good point but holding for long term doesn't necessarily mean you keep holding even if the coin price moved up, that's what people fail to understand. If you are holding a coin bought at 1$ and price moves to 2$, a wise investor will sell about 50% of that coin and wait to see what happens next. A noob who believes in 10x to 100x gains will keep holding even if the coin did 5X.  This is just an instance. One needs to apply good strategy while holding coins for long term, just my candid opinion.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie trader be like on: November 09, 2019, 02:34:42 PM
I waste lot of money on trading. Without planning I lost every trade which mostly the problem. By the way it's only trial but I didn't want to stop.

Making plans is needed to have successfull trade. Without plan, you're giving away your holding out of you. The one lesson I learned about trading  is plans is very important. At the same time patience.
Newbie traders usually lose more funds initially when they do not understand the basics of trading. Even if you are not so good with Technical analysis, at least trade with some FA and always use stop loss. Some new traders do not bother to do research. Some keep following buy calls from pump channels which most times always have a negative result since even if the coin is pumped for real, dumping fast before those behind the pump is always very difficult. If you don't plan well, or lack proper risk management and strategy, you will always regret trading. For instance, a trader who doesn't use stop loss is taking a very big risk.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can share your own opinion if you have. on: November 09, 2019, 01:39:22 PM
Firstly thanks to all for reading my topic.

Who has had more success in this crypto market?
1. Traders
2. Investors
You you have any skills? From which you have made enough profit or How much amount you loss??
Welcome to share your skills.

In my opinion, traders are more successful in crypto market, although early investors of Bitcoin and altcoins like ETH, XRP, XLM, TRX have made massive gains already. Actually, I'm a very good trader with at least 70% success in my trading so far (there is no one who is 100% successful though). For trading I usually apply superb TA, stop loss, patience and also reduce greed. During altcoin season for instance, traders use to see up to 100x although right now it's almost impossible looking at the market condition. Now if you see 10x then thank your stars. Personally, 20 to 100% profit is OK for me, I'm not greedy.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deviant Coin and Ichiba is the same scamming owners. on: October 31, 2019, 03:20:12 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4555585.1500

Ichiba (ICA) Created by the DeviantCoin Team and then they shilled it on DeviantCoin Discord community with their trust.
One of the admins from DeviantCoin discord answered a community member with the "Pairotto" account and then quickly deleted it when he saw he FUCKED UP..and then just promptly answering with the correct account "NightCrawler" hoping nobody in that big ass community noticed anything...

Thats the admin of Ichiba (ICA)

"NightCrawler" from DeviantCoin and "Pairotto" from Ichiba is the same person.

Zero integrity.

Look at it this way: Deviant team can't handle money or anything in their lives, how can we expect them to do anything seriously?

Neglecting funds getting scammed by coders and at the same time refusing community members to help out, and then asking for handouts to pay for coders? xD

Well no surprise when you people don't have one humble bone.

ICA nodes for 0.60 BTC and then you ran away pretending you got scammed.
Playing a "victim" on your own Discord (deviant)
The ICA and DEV explorer was hosted at the same place.

You people at DeviantCoin team are relentlessly scammers.

If something can corrupt you then you're already corrupt.
If this accusation is true, then it's sad. A lot of scammers in this space. I didn't really know Deviant and ICHIBA devs are the same, and also didn't know they scammed although I've been getting some bad reviews from people already. If it's possible, always add proof links to your post, for instance you mentioned that Nightcrawler and pairotto are same, a link to the screenshot of the claimed discord message would have been cool.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN IS IN LINE WITH THE HISTORICAL EVOLUTION OF PAYMENT SYSTEM on: October 31, 2019, 01:03:18 PM
sadly that has not been true for about 8 years.
maybe in early years when the first couple of alternative cryptocurrencies were being created, what OP says were true since they were focusing on actual decentralization and creation of a real currency. but nowadays this is not true at all and instead we are far away from those goals. these days the projects are only being created for profit not innovation. which is why altcoin development has been halted for years and copy pastes have replaced it.
I like your candid opinion, I expect new projects to be advancing with great margin from the initially launched projects, rather the older projects are more improved than recent ones. Most new projects just look cool on whitepaper or their awesome names, but have nothing to show for (in essence most team members nowadays are just in for the money and have no plans to develop the project).  Well, very few new projects stand out keeping the hope alive. We are still very far from adoption.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Do We Still Have Legit Altcoin Bounties? on: October 30, 2019, 11:02:36 AM
A friend introduced me here with the aim if doing Marketing and promotion for ICO & IEO companies to earn some funds however, my research got me so much discouraged as I noticed most of the ICO projects I intend to work with as planned are scam. As a result of this incident I have spent all my time here earning nothing at the moment though I have picked interest on trading. It will be my pleasure if anyone can actually tell me the means or platform where I can get real and legit project to work with. I can work perfectly as Community Manager, Ambassador, Marketing and Promotion etc.
Are you looking for legit bounties or hoping to work with a project for fixed pay (from your last sentence) ? There are some legit bounties hosted here on bounties section, you should do proper due diligence anyway before doing any. For community management and other stuff you claim to be good at, why not chat the admin of some verified projects maybe on telegram and you might be lucky.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Initial Model Offering(IMO) replace Initial Exchange Offering(IEO)? on: October 29, 2019, 10:50:18 PM
Hello Everyone, today i will be dropping some hints with regards to the New Model in the Crypto Space and i think this have the possibilities as well as the capabilities of replacing the Initial Exchange Offering (IEO). Remember in the early days we have to queue up, set our alarm in other to participate in the Initial Coin Offering (ICO). But since 2019, there have been a shift in hands whereby IEO becoming the other of the day by replacing ICO's.

I came across Initial Model Offering (IMO) and i think this too have the possibility of taking over from IEO come 2020. This might definitely be the new revolution because of the way it is being design... Now this takes us to "What is IMO"Huh

IMO is the revamped "IEO" that continues to be privately funded as the project progresses, which varies from 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or even longer as the project continues to developed. In this way, exchanges and investors can continue to withdraw as the project progresses.
Phased batch investment greatly reduces the investment risk of investors. At the same time, the project party is encouraged and supervised, so that the project can develop healthily and ultimately return investors.
Therefore, each project needs to be excellent enough, and the IMO Eco-Platform will strictly control and take certain guarantee measures.

The beauty about IMO, Unlike IEO that occurs in the wallet itself. Rather, the IMO Ecology consists of two(2) parts; the IMO wallet and the IMO exchange.
The IMO Wallet: This can be used for digital asset storage and IMO Private equity investment. That is the presale occurs in the IMO wallet App.
The IMO Exchange: This is a trading platform where you can exchange/trade your digital assets. All tokens/coins being sold in the IMO Wallet App are automatically listed in the IMO Exchange.

More details about IMO can be found here: https://www.imoex.top/

I'm always open to new ideas, hence I've gone through this IMO write up twice, trying to figure out the advantages it has over IEO but yet it's hard to actually spot them. Can you please elaborate in simple terms why you think this IMO have an edge over IEO? what drawbacks posed by IEO is curbed by IMO.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are to be blame for what happened to them on the internet on: October 29, 2019, 03:33:00 PM
When it comes to money people like trying out things the way they see fit, try first learn later is the rules of newbies and thats why they always get scammed easily, HYIP, Pyramid Scheme, as dangerous and alarming these two are people still join them till date, both crypto and internet is not the evil here, people are to be blame for what happened to them
Sometimes it all depends on the initial notion people get about crypto investment, so it's not really cool putting the blame of them entirely. For instance, if I know nothing about crypto and a close pal who doesn't trade or do bounties/airdrops but only invest in HYIP gives me the orientation that he is into crypto and it's all about the HYIP schemes. If I see it as an opportunity and follow his path, then get scammed (which is a must for HYIP),  you don't entirely put the blame on me since I knew nothing about crypto and got the wrong orientation. The only way you can blame such person is because he didn't do proper findings and relied on Information gotten from his friend into HYIP scams.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't let Margin Trading make you poor! on: October 29, 2019, 09:27:27 AM
So Binance introduced margin trading up to x125! Great for some, horrible for most. Why? Because this is an open market and people without experience can actually go ahead and borrow Bitcoin without knowing half of what's going on.

For that reason, I wrote an article to give a good introduction to margin trading, Bitcoin lending, as well as Bitcoin borrowing (if you wanna make some passive income). It's by no means that the best post on the topic, but it does give a really good overview.

You can read it here and decide if going down the margin road is the best thing you can do: https://paybis.com/blog/bitcoin-lending/
So many new traders get excited about margin trading without understanding the risk involved. Leveraging your funds is no guarantee to make gains, you can lose your entire holdings if you are not careful. There was rumour early this year about a Chinese trader who committed suicide after losing a whooping sum via margin trading, I'm not saying it's not cool, I mean it's important to understand the nitty-gritty before delving in.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of tokens that did not update their Bitcointalk thread on: October 28, 2019, 05:12:33 PM
Bitcointalk is the hub of cryptocurrency enthusiasts, every project should have their Ann here first for the verification of their team and whitepaper documents to ensure it meets some standards of being real. Ann threads helps minimize scam risk for investors any project whose Ann isn't listed here shouldn't be trusted.
Funny enough most projects put up their ANN here and keep it active  just for the purpose of luring in more people during token sale and keep mute after raising funds via token sale. Some forget to understand that bitcointalk is the heart for crypto conversations, keeping an ANN active here goes a long way to communicate with the community which will always have a positive impact.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: October 28, 2019, 04:20:22 PM
Really do hope so. DEXs offer higher-oriented security than CEX platforms and lower-cost transactions. Furthermore, DEXs like HB DEX is 100% decentralized with no requirements for personal data (KYC). The decentralized exchange operates entirely on HB Wallet Desktop Application, which is more secure than any web-based exchanges and wallets.

It's actually my first time of seeing this HBDEX, what makes it unique if I may ask please. I'm familiar with IDEX, FORKDELTA, BINANCEDEX, WAVESDEX and a few popular decentralized exchanges but not HBDEX.  Is the volume and speed of operation encouraging? Because that has been a major drawback for most DEX.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I won't give up on: October 27, 2019, 04:42:38 PM
I agree with what you are saying, as I lost everything I mad ein 2015-2018 and so had to start now again from scratch. I still do have two bags of low cap coins am hoping one day they get a moonshot, but like you am doing faucets, click sites, upgraded in MYBITCOINTUBE and click all the videos, I do bounties, airdrops and also am trying to grow some passive income as well. I am trying my best to start growing some more bags for 2020.2021. I now got paid 2.50 USD in BTS from faucet hub and now doing another round and also collecting doge from faucets as well. I do this for two hours a day while I wait for recycled ads in MYBITCOINTUBE in the early hours of the morning.
Nice one, I like your optimism. The drive that keeps me going in crypto space is "never give up". My portfolio also dropped to a point that I kept regretting my crypto investment, at a point I decided to continue with some bounties and grace found me (some have been profitable).  We just don't have to give up, people still earn from   mining, trading, IEOs, bounties and airdrops.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to get back into mining? on: October 27, 2019, 01:43:25 PM
Since all this while that mining altcoins have not been profitable like before i don't bother to keep mining coins so i just lock my mining rig in a room and now that bitcoin halving is knocking on the door i think its a good time to start mining even if its not profitable? i believe if bitcoin surge over 30k altcoins will take the ride we've been waiting for, anyways, what do you guys think? good idea or bad ?
This is very reasonable in my opinion, get serious with the mining of altcoins right now then wait for altcoin season which might likely come next year. My reason for saying altcoin season might come next year is because bitcoin halving next year will obviously cause price uptrend for BTC, then when people start moving their BTC profit to altcoins, it should cause altcoins to increase in price too. Well this is just my opinion, I'm not certain.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: October 26, 2019, 10:14:33 PM
Absolutely yes, because what we used to have before now has changed from being good to bad investment for most investors. Many times i have invested and got scammed which  gave me more fear to invest into cryptocurrency with my savings. The scam exit projects have been rapad among some bad eggs in this community, this has greatly affected the peace we used to experienced backed in those days.
Sorry about your experience seeing that you've been scammed severally, the scam projects are really reducing confidence in crypto inventors. This is the more reason why we should always invest what we can afford to lose, it's all about knowing your risk limit. Well, IEOs done on highly reputable exchanges have reduced scam projects a lot, although not entirely.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Unrealistic bounty allocations on: October 26, 2019, 03:53:47 PM
What kind of a bounty hunter are you? the one who is always eager to promote new projects? or the one who select the projects that appeared to be worthy? or for example you like projects with million dollars allocation like...

Well here is the fact, any bounty that gives out huge bounty rewards are unrealistic, we all know that we are in a bad crypto season but still they think this is the best way to lure you, this doesn't mean the project is scam but forget the dollar price tag and don't bother to calculate based on $$$$ because you can get 10$ instead of your 500$ worth of token, i prefer already listed and trading projects, what about you? do you agree or disagree?

I consider anyone promoting new projects because of the gigantic allocations alone as a newbie in bounty. Anybody who is reasonable enough will prefer to promote already listed projects, but if you can pick a few new unlisted projects to promote with a good vision, it's also cool. Provided the allocation is fair enough and the project is good from my personal research, then I'm in.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoin to invest excluding ETH on: October 26, 2019, 01:25:31 PM
Right now the market situation is not so much to make any predictions but can do some experiment at our own risk by investing into altcoin.

But if we have to try something different by investing into a new altcoin which has caliber to perform well rather than investing on a reputed altcoins like Ethereum.  Kindly suggest which would be the best altcoin to invest which is under $1.
It's good you understand the risk involved in  altcoin investment. If you are looking to try investing in altcoins below 1$, consider checking out TRX, NPXS, ICX, ADA, XLM.  These are my picks but not my endorsement, you should do more research and decide. ETH is my best choice anyway, but you already mentioned "excluding ETH".
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before I Invest With Cryptoqurrency? on: October 25, 2019, 03:40:36 PM
We are in bear market season, what do you expect? many good new projects will fail for sure, this market will drag them down if they aren't standing strong, for me this year is going to be the best year for investors because i sense we won't have the opportunities again, all those coins that loses two digits will add double digits and you will blame yourself not filling your bags, wait till 2020 to 2021 and see the big drastic change
I like your optimism about the future (2020 & 2021 as mentioned),  but let's be realistic. Many altcoins will be dead gone by then, so before making any long term investment, be absolutely sure of the project, know what you look out for in a project and decide to take the risk holding their coin long-term. Personally before I invest in any altcoin for long term, I check team performance and project development, and also communication with the community and not what's on the whitepaper.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down on: October 24, 2019, 06:47:49 PM
Bitcoin is back down to $ 7500 and altcoin is also following Bitcoin, is this to buy BTC when it is going down badly or waiting for the price of $ 7,000,
It's all your personal decision dear whether to buy at dip or not, knowing that it can dip more and more or experience an uptrend. We all understand the risk involved in crypto, know your risk limit and never cross it to be safe. You can accumulate in parts, do not buy with all funds at once if I'm to tell you my opinion.
