Let Google translate from Russian.

"Pyotr Kosenko: Is the situation with Alexander Vinnik talking about crime or something more? Many experts believe that the goal was precisely the closure of the largest Russian online trading platform for crypto currency.

Andrei Nikonorov: To begin with, I know Mr. Vinnik perfectly well and I can say for sure that he is not the owner of the exchange, he was simply an employee who performed a number of technical functions - provided verification of users, AML and KYC procedures, communication with Banks - that is, help in support."

Are you having a laugh? What have the US accused Vinnik of? Money laundering.

Shall I show you how the ZR coin scam funnels money back to Russia through different shell companies?

And the MtGox connection was just arbitrage? Yeah, right. Who are ya newbie? Registered just to post that link eh? You don't fool me fella.

Like I said people, call your fucking lawyers! Do not wait around for btc-e to give you an update, hoping things ain't gonna go tits up. It has gone tits up already.
222  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-e hacked ?? on: July 29, 2017, 04:48:03 AM

What reasons do you have for such little hope?

@bonker, good points.

Look at the aftermath of liberty reserve in its shutdown.  The USGov painted all the users there with the same broad brush and nobody got their money back. Look into the precedent set by "civil asset forfeiture" in the US where cops routinely seize cash from drivers and the IRS routinely seizes the entire bank accounts of legitimate businesses just because they "deposit cash too frequently." Many of those instances of drivers and businesses are quite obviously legitimate but they don't care and like stealing money because they CAN and the precedents set on the rule of law have changed far, far away from the idea of "nobody can be deprived of property without due process."

What's shocking about this particular case is the breadth of the application against so many international citizens instead of just within their own borders. I don't think the media will ever report the truth of this and only support the official narrative that the place was a den of criminals, because the scale of this, and its implications, are astounding.

^ This guy gets it, when you read the indictment which says btc-e was set up to launder money by design, and they also infer that trollbox usernames hint to criminal activity, it doesn't look too promising. A crime does not have to have taken place for them to seize assets, and they don't have to prove anything. Suspicion is enough, and they have created that suspicion in the indictment.

Call your lawyers, and pray that the US are wrong about this being by design.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Royal Kingdom Enterprise ICO on: July 29, 2017, 03:07:30 AM
Is this really happening?

An IT company with no online history wants people to buy into their ICO?

Where is your business registration and licence documentation?

What projects have you completed successfully in the past? Who are your clients? Links? Testimonials?

Who are the shareholders of the 82%? How much do they individually hold? What price did they pay?

Where can I find more information about the CEO? Who has he worked for? What's his track record for success?

Why have you stated that your coin is not a security when you promise to pay holders a share of the profits?

224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: July 23, 2017, 11:37:42 AM
In future this coin will die as there is only one Bitcoin .

Still all the best .

You are right - there is only one Bitcoin following Satothies Whitepaper,

and this is THIS coin.

... the miners will decide, and the investors will follow.

Good luck with your Blockstream Segwit Altcoin.

 Grin

P.S. if you want to be sure you get your BCC (I guess this will change to BTC), put your BTC into paper wallet before the 30th of July !

Errrr, no. The miners try to bully, cheat and manipulate the system. Just like a government. Well, you're about to find out that Jihan, for all his studies in psychology, has got this one badly wrong. Price is immaterial, fat cats and their greedy cartels can jog on.

Think of it as a long overdue Brexit for Bitcoin. How did that pan out for the corrupt elites?

Enjoy the dumpfest.

225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ANACOIN - Crypto against extremism on: July 20, 2017, 07:06:43 AM
So you want to stop extremism with what exactly? Sponsored scriptures and religious texts?

The Saudi's have spent billions of dollars a year since the 70's funding the spread of Wahhabism, which is the doctrine used by ISIS. The money comes from oil sold to the US. The military industrialists then make billions of dollars a year fighting the War on Terror. It's a giant cash cow. You know all this. Do you really think you can stop that by examining different religions and ideologies?

Also, it's not wise to hype up the future price of a coin in your whitepaper using $100m paintings as an example. The reason should be obvious.

So, you're either (a) massive scammers, (b) naive idealists, or (c) you actually work for the government, and have rather cheekily come here to seek funding for your deradicalization program.

So which is it?

1) Coin schedule are listing Monkey Capital as the first ever Platinum Level ICO. Has any real appraisal taken place or is this a paid for marketing package/gimmick? Be honest...

Gold and Platinum are paid marketing slots.

We do what would be considered 'lightweight due diligence' in every ICO we list (i.e. we check project team Linkedin profiles, we read the white paper to get an overview of what the project is about and check that it has been created to a high standard. We ask questions to the team via e-mail sometimes with a few iterations). For the platinum, because it's a more prominent slot, we also did a few Skype calls with Daniel to make sure he looked like the pictures of him you can find online (he does).

That's what we have done, but note that Coinschedule is an informational website for marketing purposes, we simply list ICOs that are submitted to the website (if they pass our lightweight due diligence) and we make money by offering paid slots to ICO projects. Seeing a project listed there should not be considered investment advice of any sort. You need to perform your own due diligence and decide which projects to join.

Looking at a LinkedIn profile and reading the whitepaper would not be considered due diligence of any description. How much were you paid to give this a platinum rating?

There's no such thing as platinum 'rating'.

What would you like to call it then? An award? A certification? A validation? A verification? An accreditation? Something else perhaps?

How much were you paid to give this a platinum thingy?

Can more information be given out regarding ICO?  What is the minimum acceptable amount for project to launch?  What happens if you do not meet the requirement?  Is there another round of investment going to happen?  When?   What is the coin cap?  How is it determined?  Would the date of the roadmap be earlier if the second round of investment goes well?

I am definitely interested in this project, but more need more details.  Also having the dates moved up would be good too...investors want to see quick results and fast development.

Its also nice to see that there are bits and pieces of the codes already out there.  Is there a github to see the progress?

Lastly, can you link to your last project that raised $100?  Just for transparency.  It is great that you are honest about it.

Is there any info on the team?  Looks like there isn't one yet...

Nobody knows who OP is, they have no profile not sure how they expect to deal with people. Winter 2018 roadmap LOL! Nothing will happen with this until Winter 2018 which is a ridiculously long timeline in such a fast moving industry. Also OP is asking for 1 1/2 months of initial funding with unlimited cap hahahahaha while Winter 2018 before this project even comes out. Not sure what set-up they have with monthly fees, apparently to use the pro-version of their software you have to pay them $199 per month USD or 30% cheaper if you use Qointum. Imagine if to use Ethereum you had to pay them in ETH monthly or $199 hahah, that's completely against decentralization. This Qointum guys' name is "Dan" he has 3 followers on Twitter and no tweets, has a bs resume with no evidence, this must be a joke.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1077638.20

^ The dude was advertising his product in 2015 said crowdfunding was still Sept. 2016 from then but apparently it never took off now he's back at it in 2017 after Crypto takes off. What a joke, so many holes in this.
Wow, there's already a quantum resistent ledger, so this one is trying to do the same thing? Anon dev without escrow asking for money?

Are you trolling, or just incapable of reading? It took me 2 minutes to find out who the dev is and what he does for a living.

I could post his website for you, and his other twitter account. I could give you the link to his home address, and an online article about him, complete with photos of his wife and kids. But I'm not going to.

Whether this project ever gets off the ground remains to be seen, but really, anon dev?

Troll on.

232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [MineX] | New investment project | on: July 05, 2017, 09:25:08 AM
Few days from now, the ICO will start. So do you have escrow already for your project?
Though you are aiming for not so much BTC, but still, this one needs escrow because you decided to be anonymous in the first place.
Even the website will be up after the ICO, so, you might want to think on how to attract investors without them giving so much doubts that you might just screw what you will raised in your ICO stage.
No identities and no escrow = Collect free money? Nothing is wrong here
Who will escrowed your project ?
Escrow in the crypto industry does not protect investors after the transfer of money to the contractor. There are many examples of this. Lately a lot of big projects with beautiful websites and great advertising have turned into a scam. We decided to raise money on the forum site without intermediaries. We chose this way. You choose to go with us or not.

You get jack shit without escrow buddy. You might want to reveal your identity too, if you're not a scammer that is.

19.9% is a hell of a chunk though, will any of this be time-locked? If so, how much, and for how long?

Couple of questions...

When did you first try to launch this coin?

How many times have you tried to launch this coin?

How much did you raise in your previous crowdsale/ico, and what was it spent on?

It doesn't look like any progress has been made on this project, why is that?

236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bowhead Health: Personalized Health Platform on: July 01, 2017, 06:06:40 PM

Ok, I'll bite, seeing as you want to play. You send me to the top google result for computer vision - is that because you can't explain it yourself, much like Theranos couldn't explain how their machine worked?

Your proof of patent seems to be a quote from your whitepaper - well that's no proof at all. What are the filing numbers? The USPTO has no results for Bowhead Health, just a couple about aboriginal quotas for bowhead whales. https://search.uspto.gov/search?query=bowhead&op=Search&affiliate=web-sdmg-uspto.gov

It was claimed in the video that this is not a ripoff of another product - but this company has a working device for malaria. http://www.sightdx.com/infectious-diseases/parasight/

Finally, you ignore the problems associated with what you claim your machine is capable of - is that because you don't know what those problems are, or that you do know, but are choosing not to mention them because you want a fat ICO? Where is your peer reviewed evidence to show that this technique of small volume sampling is accurate and reliable?

If you can square all that away, then we can talk about getting computer vision to determine the correct reagent strength, something Theranos couldn't do, despite their 8 pages of patents covering most aspects of this kind of test.

237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bowhead Health: Personalized Health Platform on: July 01, 2017, 01:44:35 PM
In short, give me one good reason to invest in this project. What will be the use of holding this token and where can I find the escrow information?

There's no escrow my friend, they said so in the video.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bowhead Health: Personalized Health Platform on: July 01, 2017, 12:28:13 PM
No proof then?

Just hyping your ICO with statements about the value of the healthcare market, mentioning blockchain a couple of times, say you have a fancy gadget for small sample blood tests, and that it uses "computer vision"?

Then it's off to the races with the tried and tested formula of slickly produced websites, roadmaps, flowcharts, graphs about money and investment, more charts for the ICO structure, don't forget the bounty program, and look, here's a video of the team, where they mention sod all about the device, or any the problems associated with such a device, and strangely enough, aren't asked any probing questions by the interviewer.

Shut up and take my bitcoins? I don't think so!

Where is your peer reviewed evidence that this technology actually works and is in any way reliable? What about a patent, got any of those?

Because:

So it's a gadget to test blood? Cool!

Got any proof it works? Proper proof mind you, peer reviewed, verifiable?

Cos, like, Theranos.
