221  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Auroramine.com seems to be too good to true. What might happen in future? on: October 21, 2017, 02:50:41 PM
Be a shame if someone in the UK reported them to the police.

Description   Police station
Address   72 Earl's Court Road
LONDON
W8 6EQ
Telephone   Non emergency : 101
Non emergency : 101
0300 123 1212
Auroramine admin comes probably from Germany because of some indications like the head title on FAQ that is simply in German and not English. Anyone remember Thunderbit.io or the newest crap Lifebit.io?
They both do not differ from the structure, same arrangement. Let's compare the FAQs of both sites: https://prnt.sc/h06hu9 - https://prnt.sc/h06hzy. The same thing is the highlighted email address with the company address on the below. If this is not enough, let's look at the source code of Lifebit.io FAQs and see what I found: https://prnt.sc/h06izy. The map was embedded with the location in the German language, another indication that the operator is german.
But another proof is that the DNS IP of Auroramine.com shows that it comes from Germany, a company who offers DDOS Protection.
All in all, the operator of Auroramine and Lifebit may come probably from Germany, although it's silly that they left it, or it can be that they faked it.

Based on the website structure and the above mentioned indicator, the following sites were operated by the same group: Nano-Hash.com, Thunderbit.io, Auroramine.com and Lifebit.io
222  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coinurl is it worth using or not ? on: October 21, 2017, 01:19:45 PM
It's definitely not worth after some user reports scam accusations here about them and because of their high withdrawal threshold. There are better shorteners, who allows paying using FH, have a higher CPM rate or has at least a support. In addition, it is unknown who operates Coinurl because the creator of Coinurls thread on this forum has sold it to someone.
223  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap advertising Ponzi site on: October 21, 2017, 10:34:54 AM
Couldn't find any advertising terms for coinmarketcap but I think it is quite mandatory because coinmarketcap is visited by many crypto lovers and newbie investors who will easily get scammed by ponzis like this.

Looks like that ponzi have paid more than $10,000 for that top banner or even more and coinmarketcap is busy on counting those money rather than filtering what they are advertising.
That is generally on crypto websites which can be seen on faucets and news sites. The newbies are confronted with these promising investment programs and in the end, they are victims themselves.
Coinmarketcap and many others remain neutral concerning this type of advertising because this kind is the most profitable next to ICOs apart from Bitcoin Casino and Faucet advertising.
224  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Your thoughts on Xapo Wallet on: October 20, 2017, 10:21:34 PM
After reading some news about Xapo that they store the BTC in a bunker which was used during the World War 2, I believe that Xapo is for anyone who want to store large amounts of BTC like a cold storage.

What an utter nonsense. People should at all times avoid storing large numbers of coins in any online wallet service. If you want a proper form of cold wallet storage, buy yourself a Nano Ledger S hardware wallet, or a Trezor hardware wallet -- they don't cost a whole lot of money, and the best thing is that you can use Bitcoin to pay for it. It's a good way to invest your greatly in value increased coins -- security should at all times be top notch. People preferring online wallet services over their own offline storage method are just delusional. It's quite shocking that a legendary member has such a noobish way of thinking....
I am not referring that online wallets are safe -  I am myself a holder of a hardware wallet - but Xapo gives also the same securities as a cold storage viewed from the perspective of the storage. Hardware wallets are the best way to hold BTC aside online, but they are not fully protected against failure of the hardware, fire/damages and incompatible software. Let's say as a worst case, a fire burns the house down along with the recovery key and the hardware wallet, nothing remains of your BTC holding while the BTCs in the online vault still remains. Besides that, I'd preferably use an offline wallet rather online wallet but each of them has advantages/disadvantages.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 1 sat fee on: October 20, 2017, 09:42:01 PM
What's the idea behind free tx accelerators?

Free TX accerelator was made to include a TX with an appropriate fee (not a low fee) manually to the next block of the X mining pool in order to give people the priority they need instead of spammers in the bitcoin network. These tx accerelator just needs a human verification (e.g. captcha). There is also ViaBTC - a mining provider - who is handing out free accerelation when they buy its cloud mining hashpower.

After reading some news about Xapo that they store the BTC in a bunker which was used during the World War 2, I believe that Xapo is for anyone who want to store large amounts of BTC like a cold storage. Despite, they have high transaction fees which raise a problem for most people who do not store too much BTC and are dependable on sending & receiving.
227  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any anonymous bitcoin virtual card available? on: October 20, 2017, 08:01:29 PM
Hi, seems all wavrcrest cards are disabled to Non-EU
there is only one, which is told to provide its own card worlwide that isn't connected to Mastercard/Visa.
But they "temporary" disabled all cards. Wanted to enable in October
https://uquid.com/blog/2017/09/new-uquid-debit-card
Have no news, that they enabled already.
It might take more than what they are claiming, looks like they have also started ICO just like another bitcoin debit card provider cryptopay.

Monaco, Cryptopay and uquid might come up with good solution in future like after few months but right now all non-eu users are stucked with no option for bitcoin virtual or plastic card.
I thought Cryptopay does not offer "anonymous" card because they require you to submit some personal information like Full Name, Birth date and so on whilst Coinsbank did just require the shipping address in the past for their anonymous card.
But for OP, there was in the past anonymous card but they were disabled due to poor KYC. Finding a provider which is trustworthy and offers such requirements is quite difficult.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where to Buy BCC - BitcoinCash on: October 20, 2017, 11:57:39 AM
The easy way is to buy Bitcoin on trusted exchanges such as Coinbase or your country's available exchanges. Once done, you can exchange the BTC easily to BCC anonymously on Shapeshift.io or even Bittrex.
Because once you have any cryptocurrency, you can exchange them easily thanks to the diversity of exchanges and markets.
229  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase wallet query on: October 19, 2017, 03:12:11 PM
I have transferred around 0.0831 btc today from my Coinbase wallet but payment is not moving out the destination wallet.

When I check the transaction, it says "waiting for clearing" then clicked on it and found that it asks for photo identity verification of mine.

I want to know is this safe to me to share my identity proofs to them?

Checked in FAQ. it is normal, some times they require identity verification as US jurisdiction rule implemented and so on. Please explain that I am safe or not bros.
Yes, that's generally because of KYC/AML regulations, because of terrorism funding and laundry, otherwise, the bitcoin wallet provider or exchange would get closed down. If you are unsure about providing your ID to Coinbase, you can read the Privacy of Policy how they handle any information about you.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Raspberry Pi + Wallets + Raspbian (linux) on: October 19, 2017, 03:02:36 PM
Raspbian is based off debian. If you are able to run it on Ubuntu or Debian, you should be able to run it on Raspbian. It's not the easiest thing to handle an offline wallet with different coins. Each of them would require at least a site to obtain the transaction information and broadcast the transaction. If it doesn't exist, you will need to run an online instance of the coins, though your wallet need not be on it.

Raspberry Pi is not the ideal device to run nodes on, be it offline or online. You could handle much more wallets offline but it would be a strain if you run them all simultaneously.
Agree. Do not forget that the Bitcoin blockchain is bigger than 140+ GB and the cost for such a microSD is truly expensive (about $120 for quality ones). Also for that price, it is possible to afford a PC with big space size with low-priced components.
Apart of that, a server in the cloud is not recommendable though because of unsafe securities.
231  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Why cant I Sign Message in Coinbase on: October 18, 2017, 10:25:34 PM
ill have to see if my ledger can sign messages;  then it wont be such a pain...
Usually, the standard Ledger Nano needs electrum to sign a message that makes currently some problems to me, without them it gives an error that it contains inappropriate letters. With a Ledger Nano S it should works smoothly and fast.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum wallet on android on: October 18, 2017, 10:20:35 PM
If you are comfortable with online wallets, then choose Coinbase. They do have an Android and a iOS App and have the same functionalities like the BTC and LTC wallet. Besides that, there is also price chart and widgets.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: October 18, 2017, 03:48:13 PM
I am still holding onto ICN in MyEtherWallet. What should I do with ICN, just keep holding? I thought it was for receiving dividends.
No, ICONOMI brought the repayment program in form of steady buybacks of the ICN tokens in front of dividend which is not compliant with the SEC regulation. The advantage of buybacks is that with each buyback and burning, your shares on ICONOMI will be bigger thanks to the lower circulating supply.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Eth diff fell like crazy! on: October 17, 2017, 10:29:30 PM
This happened thanks to the Byzantium fork. There are advantages for the users and disadvantages for the miners. The users who make a transaction through the ETH network pay fewer fees and the network is significantly faster, however, miners are getting paid only 2 Ether instead of 5 Ether. In addition, the difficulty was lowered due to the big difficult to mine a block which caused the big spike in the past months.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MyEtherWallet on: October 17, 2017, 07:59:11 PM
Hello I have a problem. I can't add any custom token. When I try to add this then got an error "Default Node does not exist. Please clear local storage and try again." Please help how to fix this error?
Did you just do this as it is explained? If you are using Google Chrome, then here is a solution. Alternative, try to use another browser such as Microsoft Edge, Firefox or just the incognito mode of Chrome. It can be also the antivirus firewall, who might block the connection.
If this problem still persists, then you should look at the developer console of your browser and report any errors to MyEtherwallet.
Thank you very much. I tried another browser FireFox and try to add Postoken but it write me that it can't duplicate already existing token. And it really exist in tokens list.
And also when I log in mew I see text (screenshot below):

This is a typical thing of Myetherwallet that everybody has it. You should click on 'Load Token Balances' and it will display all available tokens in the ETH network including its balance in the row with a delay.
236  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHub Bitcoin Faucet Script - Open your own faucet on: October 17, 2017, 07:17:18 PM
Hello salmen! Can i integrate shortlinks using your script? Can you email ke short instructions? Thankyou Smiley

gioenrico44@gmail.com

Or please PM me your email?
Yes, for an additional price I can integrate it. Please send me a PM for more information about it.

better dont use recaptcha... it makes me crazy...

There is also a version with BitCaptcha instead of reCaptcha, so the script is not just relying on reCaptcha.

238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is mean by QoinPro? on: October 17, 2017, 02:01:34 PM
Just signed up and removed my account long ago because to profit from this site, you need to refer users and that does not mean first-level also five-levels deep. Apart of them, it seems they are recently very active on Twitter while in the past they had a lack of support and maintaining things as you can see the older posts on Twitter.
Also, the earning rate is too good to be true, $0.01396 giving away for free daily is not possible without advertising or any other revenues income.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to send Bitcoin to an email address on: October 16, 2017, 06:33:44 PM
As far as I know is that Blockchain supported to send Bitcoin to an email address or even to a phone number in the early days. With the second version of the Wallet, they removed this feature along with other great security features. Nowadays, only Coinbase supports to send Bitcoins to an e-mail address in case the e-mail belongs to an account there.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bit Gold fork question on: October 16, 2017, 06:27:29 PM
without any exchanger supporting BTG to who will we sell the BTG?!
I am fairly sure that there will be few exchanges who supports Bitcoin Gold, it depends on the demand of the users whether they want it. It is probably that the exchanges who supports Bitcoin Cash, will also support Bitcoin Gold after the fork and that is plenty of exchanges.
