We gave money to strangers promising fantastic returns and paid the price for being that stupid.

Nobody will ever see a single coin of his invested money again. Ever ! No matter how many mails or pm you people write. I wish an angry bastard mod would lock this thread so we can move on.

@ Tom

It is smart not to address the issue I have raised about you products not being in compliance with federal regulations. If you were to tell buyers and prospective buyers that you are indeed in compliance with federal regulations when you were not that might be seen in a court of law as fraudulent. Fraud is a crime, right?

Tom, your silence speaks for you. Buyers and the community will draw their own conclusions.

What regulations are you talking about ?

Quick website update.

Now you can use /api/users in addition to /api/users/USERNAME to retrieve your stats.

I think including the username in the URL is more RESTful, but this simplified URL makes it easier for 3rd party apps to add BitMinter support.

Waiting for BTCmon update Cry

The test version runs fine here. Any plans for new products in the ASIC direction ?

Gullible, inexperienced, possibly simple-minded investors.

Yeah right, only simple-minded people make mistakes. Cheesy Roll Eyes

Is there any possibility that (some of) PPT were actually acomplices in this whole pirate scam thing? I wonder if paybtc got some share of bitcoins. The lack of information and activity regarding this matter is very suspicious.
From the info the investigation turned up (and based on things that imsaguy and a few others said at the time) paybtc was getting more than 7%/Week (most likely 7.7%/Week).

Ergo, from the size of the fund at collapse (~150k BTC) he was getting ~1k BTC per week of stolen funds from the ponzi scheme.

He made some coins with his service, so did others. Does that make him a scammer ? He never made a promise he could not keep. It was very clear that if Pirate defaults all the coins are gone. Simple as that.

Edit: Imsa and the "few others" should keep their mouth shut. Some were backing the real scammer long after it was clear that he fucked everybody over. Not to speak about their profit...

I guess it doesn't help that Clipse has a really bad rep on IRC for being a jerk.

Just hot air Cheesy.

I'll just be here... Admiring my coins... That I didn't give away to scam artists  Wink

Bring up evidence that payb.tc is a scammer. He stole no single coin from anyone.

Edit: You don't know how much I took out. In the end it's me admiring my coins ha ha ha

I was never invested in pay.btc's ponzi pass-through.
However, I'd be a hypocrite to criticise RR for operating the same scam, when we have someone with even larger profits stolen from investors present.
238  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BTCMiner - Open Source Bitcoin Miner for ZTEX FPGA Boards, 215 MH/s on LX150 on: October 09, 2012, 10:37:19 AM
Hi,
after testing the Ztex 1.15x on CGMiner (and really not liking the experience.. unfortunately) i tried to get back on BTCMiner but i have a problem:

Code:
C:\ztex>java -cp ZtexBTCMiner-120703.jar BTCMiner  -host "http://de.btcguild.com:8332" -u Nachtwind_fpga -p yup -f ztex_ufm1_15d4.ihx
Error: Device lost after uploading Firmware: No new device found

I cant find a way to revive it for BTCMiner... CGMiner still works "fine" (as in the limits set by CGMiner) though..

Any ideas?

Did you change the usb driver back ? IIRC you can do that with Zadig.
