221  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: March 11, 2018, 03:47:51 PM
Ofcourse there are corruption. As we all know bitcoin is now manipulated by group of people or country. For what i have read and see in some video presentation, chinise people almost owns the entire mining platform of bitcoin. Through this they can easily manipulate the dump or falling and pump or rising the price of bitcoins. Aside from the there are groups who are in collaboration in other altcoin for them to sell their coin to a much higher value. Thats why even though its hard to believe, its true bitcoin is already corrupted not only in mining but also in transaction. The fee is getting bigger and bigger, much bigger to what you sent hayz
Corruption totally depend on the person who is doing it. Bitcoin can play a vital role in the stabilizing and modernizing of people but it can't be said in case of corruption. Bitcoin is just a simple currency like the others  so it can be used any process, for good and bad both.

It depends on the user that for what aim or procedure he is using bitcoin. As bitcoin is a currency so I think that both good and bad kind of works can be done by bitcoin.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: March 11, 2018, 03:27:10 PM
Hello,

Im new in crypto and have a question (a stupid one).. I never really gave it much though and now i wonder.

Is price of bitcoin so high (compared to altcoins) because it is so much superior or is it just because it is THE coin - the original one.

Cheers Smiley

Mining is more handy, buying selling trading is related to luck too.
224  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hitbtc fraud on: March 10, 2018, 09:07:05 PM
Hello, looking to start a lawsuit against hitbtc
They are stealing small investors money because most of us can't fight back. Join in I am organizing a lawsuit. Let's bring em down!!! Powermaad@gmail.com spread the word!!!

What exactly they stole from you?, how, did they respond to your tickets?
Quote
HitBTC is a cryptocurrency exchange from an unknown location that launched in 2014.
We don't really know where they are from but I think that they are chinese exchange or located somewhere else but the devs and team are chinese people, anyways please prove that they stole money from you, in fact we can't do anything but at least taking attention to people to not leave the money there.
I moved the funds from there few months ago and hopefully there was nothing wrong and the process went just perfectly but recenly I'm seeing people that are having issues with withdrawals.
225  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: March 10, 2018, 10:42:23 AM
I believe the ones who are promoting their projects are not doing it arbitrarily. This place is crowded by people who are interested in the cryptocurrency, thus may find useful projects or information. These project owners have lots of money, so they can use a small amount to promote their projects. For instance, I had not known about certain projects until I came across them on this forum. Therefore, signature campaigns are really helpful.
226  Economy / Economics / Re: will next decade be the bitcoin era ?? on: March 05, 2018, 12:51:54 AM
I think next decade will be the blockchain era, not only bitcoin. Now happen the same things as happened when internet was invented and started to be used, blockchain will integrate in our life and future generations will be born and live in new blockchain era.

Bitcoin is not only the king of next decade but the altcoins and the new crypto coins will also rule the next decade. As stated block chain technology will be the adoption of all the fields and the current and next generation will experience a advanced with super fast work done on all aspects of life.

228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HitBTC on: March 04, 2018, 11:48:58 PM
Hello HitBTC
I am a new trader in crypto. After opening an account in HitBTC they suggest that to turn on 2FA. So I turned on 2FA But as a new trader I didn’t write down my 2FA back up code. After few weeks my mobile has damaged so I lost google authentication apps. So from last one week I cannot log in to my HitBTC account . I contacted to HitBTC support team to solve the problem after few days they asked some prove that it’s my account so I provide them my all documents. But now more than one week I’m waiting but no response yet. So as a new trader I’m very worried even I cannot sleep at night. Because i don’t have any money to trade.Every hour I checked email if they send me email but not. So please help me please help me. My new open ticket in HitBTC #161415

HitBTC was a good exchange and I never had an singe issue with them and the transfers were pretty fast and good, but recently I'm hearing from my firends and from the community here that hitbtc is blocking some withdrawals, is making some as pending and some as completed when in fact there is no transaction made from their side. Their use base is increasing a lot and that's one of the reason that they can't get back to you fast.

Suggestion: Try to use Authy instead of Google 2fa Authenticator because you can recover the details even if you lose your phone, and you can use this in multiple devices if you need to.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: March 04, 2018, 10:39:21 PM
Bitcoin is electronic money. It exists and grows depending on the needs of human beings. I do not know how long it lasts, but if the bitcoin ends, I think more people will be disappointed.
Yea bitcoin is now in high demand and I think world want to change the conventional currency system, they want to earn from the currency they owe and bitcoin has all those things which community need now and now world is completely accepting bitcoin and will demand to declare it as global coin so the answer to the survival is that people feel safe in using bitcoin so they will never get bored of it and it will stay.
Bitcoin can be used even without internet, Yes, it can be used with satellite signals as some phone work on, and/or on the big Local Area Network between the devices.

231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Virtual Money? on: March 04, 2018, 08:32:01 PM
About virtual currency, there are 03 different understandings:

Money is unmanageable, no physical shape and is used in electronic environments, it is called virtual money.
The type is not real value, not guaranteed by cash, gold, and valuable assets.
The money is usually used to pay for games in electronic games, each type of game has a different currency and they can not be used to exchange for each other or to bring out the electronic environment to buy. Other service products are.

The concept of virtual money is born, widely used and most often by the third interpretation itself. With this kind of money, the balance can be managed and easily changed by the issuer without affecting the financial or market economy.

Virtual Money are not only cryptocurrencies but cryptocurrencies are virtual money.
The word Virtual means something that is not touchable something that can be seen but can not be touched, the opposite of this is the real money that can be touched (cash). Bitcoin is virtual, even though we can print the paper wallet but we can't say that look this is one bitcoin because it isn't it is a paper that contains some keys some information that should be used online (virtually) to spend those money.
The same thing is the money that we have in banks, they are actually real but they show us as virtual like digits, we make online purchases without giving/touching the real money.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethreum the new king of crypto? on: March 04, 2018, 08:24:22 PM
Hello Folk, is it the time for ethreum to lead from the front ? As bitcoin is going through rough ride along with other altcoins but ethreum is turning out to be more stable platform for investment and also new ICO's are based on ethreum. Do you think Ethreum will dethrone bitcoin from 1st rank of crypto this year?
I doubt that thia is the time of the ethereum, that the ethereum is caled king. Because until now the botcoin is number one to all site of top ranking list of all coins  so if you see the mean of king is like you lead all in your environment your the number one but what happen is ethereum is on number two. So it is not the right time
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 seems like a good year for ALTCOIN on: March 04, 2018, 07:49:20 PM
From the looks of things other cryptocurrencies are really rising this year
Look at Ripple it is second on the marketcap
Yes, just like bitcoin it is also a good year for altcoin, this year look like many coins have a potential like ripple, ethereum, and litecoin. Ethereum will more impressive this year, Ripple, on the other hand, does introduce a significant change and litecoin it was made with the idea of it being a better, faster version of Bitcoin.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether: not even a scam on: March 04, 2018, 05:06:08 PM
It has been revealed that they have an account with ING:
https://cryptovest.com/news/ing-confirms-bitfinex-banking-account/

In addition there was a report a few days ago that speculated that they have a bank account in Puerto Rico.

This should alleviate some concerns, but there is still the questionable dramatic increase in circulation of tethers around times of bitcoin price declines:
http://www.tetherreport.com/

Since they are making so much in transaction fees, I wonder if this is legitimate, but if bitfinex is created USDT from the USD profits they are making, and then using their USDT to prop up the market?

Not likely!!!
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My opinion about ETH on: March 04, 2018, 04:51:39 PM
In my opinion , ETH is now more hot than BTC because the explosion of ICOs base on ETH Blockchain. During the recent dip, ETH price even a little come up, all altcoins and BTC holders lose funds but ETH holders still have profit. So i think that ETH will reach BTC price this year. What do you think guys?

236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain just announced the AntMiner A3 - 815GH/s Siacoin miner - Blake(2b) on: March 04, 2018, 04:34:08 PM
For few days or maybe a week I'm trying to buy the A3 but it says that the miner A3 is sold out, maybe it was very fast the sale.

Based in some calculators it shows me that the profit within first month is around $10,556.49 ?? Is this true or just a fake advertisement that it has 800+Ghs or 800,000 Mhs?

I think that the most richest people in the world are the Bitmain employees and their bosses, because they are the first one which experiments with the mining rigs, they get the most of them, they run their miners in the very low harshrate difficulty making them earn more and faster.

The miner has been sold out since the first day it went on sale.  IMO one of the best ways to find out when a new miner will be listed is to follow Bitmain's twitter account and set your phone to notify you of all new tweets.  Those numbers though are based on current hashrate and difficulty (and more importantly, the coin's price).    That dollar figure will change daily.

By this it means that SIA coin will get very popular by the miners because the new generation of Antminers is making the buyers very rich in a very short period of time.

The estimated profit in dollars is very large but I think that the hashrate difficulty will increase too much which makes the other miners get a very low profit, In another article I've read that within a year or so another miner will be built which could generate larger amount of SIAs, maybe faster than the AntMiner A3. What could be the price of SIA in the upcoming months?
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best altcoin on: March 04, 2018, 12:03:29 PM
there are a lot of altcoin which I think is good, but the best altcoin for me is ethereum because it has good potential and stable value, maybe at the end of this year he will reach $ 2000 ... anyone agree with me Huh

238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins are in red again ?? on: March 04, 2018, 11:32:07 AM
Anybody would please make comment why alts are decreasing sharply ? It is correction or there is another speculation ?

Lets wait when people get their salary as January and February are broke months and people have spent a lot in November (for Black Friday) and for December for the holidays and New Year, and as always the first two months of every year are hard for the people and for the stores as people spent a lot, have taken loans which they should pay back those money. When the price crashes a lot it is known as corrections and people are very afraid to invest and some even sell them because they lose trust on crypocurrencies and give up, an interesting fact is that these people (not all of them) get back when the price start increasing and start buying at a higher price.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Censors Cryptocurrency Ads on Search Engines and Social Media on: March 04, 2018, 10:50:43 AM
I think these are good news actually. I mean, do we really want to keep getting investors that come up from adds? Those are definitely searching for big profits and have no interest in actually trying to understand what project are they buying into. There type of "investors" (if we can even call them that), are the first ones to panic sell everything they have, and only contribute to the volatility of crypto. We want real investors, and those will not be found through adds. Also most, of those adds are scam anyway, so by banning them, the crypto scams will probably be less efective, and that will contribute to a sense of security in the crypto world.

240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: March 04, 2018, 10:02:04 AM
Yes airdrop are profitable...But not all..The airdrops I have received last year some of them already reach $1 per token and some are even higher and most of them are scams...At first when I began signing up in airdrops ,I have already signed 10 forms but none of them came to my wallet..it took me a weeks before I received my first token and a months to start earning. You just need a lot of patience in the world of cryptocurrency..

When joining an airdrop most of the time you don't lose anything, there are many different kind of airdrops but those most common require only an ETH address or an address from their wallet, a bitcointalk profile, some give reward based on the forum rank etc. While some other airdrops require to hold X amount of that token and receive xx% of the total amount you hold. In conclusion there is no risk besides any sensitive information like email and showing publicly your IP address(if they require to register in their website).
It's free money so I suggest that the airdrop money to hold and not sell in the first months or years, this is risky but it worth.
